PDF form in Livecycle 8 -how to submit to multiple email addresses

I tried searching the forums and the Internet and have tried a zillion solutions that don't work. I am sure I am missing something simple but I am trying to "fix" a form someone else made and I know little about coding or that stuff, so go easy on me! :^)
Anyway, I have a form with a "Submit by Email" button that currently goes to one e-mail address (set in the email address field in the object palette).
I need the form to go to an additional address. I don't care if it is listed separately, done as a cc or a bcc as long as it gets there!
I tried adding a second address right in that palette box separated by a semicolon or a comma, and that didn't work.
Then I found some instructions on changing the XML stuff, so I went in and tried a few things: adding the second e-mail separated by a semicolon right after the first (that sent it to "two" addresses, but both were [email protected], not the two different ones), separating them by commas (no luck), adding &cc or &bcc and the 2nd e-mail addy after the subject area ....
I'm out of ideas!
This is what I started with:
<
submit format="pdf" target="mailto:[email protected]?subject=Loan Application" textEncoding="UTF-8"/>
Can anyone help me with that I need to type in to also get it to send to [email protected]?
Thanks much!

Here is what I do....I will use regular button instead of "Email submit".
Then in Click event of the button use following JavaScript...
var sub
sub = "Subject Text"
var ebody
ebody = "email text that goes on body"
event.target.submitForm({cURL
:"mailto:[email protected],[email protected]?cc=[email protected]&subject="+sub+"&body="+ebody,cSubmitAs:"PDF",cCharset:"utf-8"});
//you could replace PDF with XML will only send data instead of form.
Good Luck,

    I have tried that, but the system reads the emails as one long email and I can't find any way of separating them - it ignores spaces, colons and I have also tried putting them through a word doc... still does not work. It works perfectly easily on a PC system!! ( I have just moved to a mac!)

    Are they in the body of the mail?
    Hold your finger down in that mail until the little blue bubble pops up. One of the options should be to select all. Choose that and all will be hilighted. then a pop up comes up to copy, choose that, open your destination and hold your finger down to get the paste dialogue.

    Sorry, but Address Book does not allow you to select more than one email address to send to in a group. There's really no reason why people need multiple copies of a message, anyway; they have the option of forwarding email to another email address of theirs.

How do I select all the email address under each person in the address book so every family member recieves the e-mails?
    It appears I can select any ONE email address but selecting multiples from any one person is not allowed, why is that? Any tips would be appreciated, thanks.

    From a google search of the docs, it looks that that field is used as a FROM address... hence it's by definition only one address.
    Administration Email Address - Defines the "from" address for administrative tasks that generate email, such as approving a provision request or resetting a password.

  • How do I add multiple email addresses for a contact to a group?

    (I'm a recent convert from eMailer to Outlook Express, to Entourage, and finally to Mail.app)
    I'm trying to set up a group in Address Book that includes multiple email addresses from a given card. These are folks that want me to include, for example, both their work and home email addresses when I send to this particular group.
    I see that Address Book has the ability to use "Edit Distribution List..." to select one email address for a given card/contact, but I can't get it to allow me to use two or three for a given card.
    I suppose for now I can just create a duplicate card, and pick one address from each.
    Is there a better way?

  • How can I import multiple email addresses in cc field of MAIL email into Address Book or Contacts?

    Hello...Mail and Address Book used to have a great feature where when you received an email (in Mac MAIL program), if there were multiple emails I'm the "to" or "cc" fields, you could select them all as a batch and drag them into Address Book and it would add them all to Address Book.  Now it doesn't seem to let you do it as a batch...you have to click each email address and select "add to address book".
    Does anyone know of a workaround, or an AppleScript, or third party app that would allow users to add email addresses to AB in a batch from a MAIL email?
    Thanks!

    Try this.. Click the first in the CC field hold Shift, Click the Second Third, Fouth, Fifth and so on... click right Mouse select add to Contacts.

  • Submit completed form to multiple email addresses

    I am working with Acrobat 9 Pro and creating a pdf enquiry form to place on a website.
    I need the form when submitted to be sent to 4 email addresses so that it can be properly assessed. Each of those recipients needs to be able to add the response to a response file, so I need to 'distribute' the form.
    I can make is submit to multiple email addresses (having seen a previous post) by adding a submit button, enabling the extended features and not distributing. This is not a suitable solution, though, as it doesn't allow the recipient to add to the response file.
    Whatever I try, I can only get it to send to the single email address shown in 'Preferences', so I'm stumped. Obviously I can set up an autoforward from a single account to the others, but that seems a clunky way of doing what should be a simple task.

    There are a few ways to do this.
    Set up E-mail Notifications and to enable the "Include submitted data" option.  (E-mail Notifications settings are in the Options tab)
    Share the responses by making the other person a Co-author, Contributor or Reader.  The differences in account levels are explained here.
    Share the repsonses by using Publish Responses feature.  This will allow you to send out a URL that will display the View Responses and/or the Summary Report to anyone that has your URL.  Further details are here.

  • Submit button with multiple email addresses doesn't work while the same form with one email address does.  The multi email version works on windows computer.

    The email comes up when I press the "Submit" button but the email to field is blank.

    Hi,
    What is the separator character between two email addresses?  Is it a comma (,) semicolon(;) or something else?
    According to the mailto URI scheme (RFC 6068), you need to use a comma (,) to separate multiple email addresses.
    You can see the third example in the following Wikipedia page.

    You'll need to add the email address you want to use to Reader... If you're not prompted to do so when clicking the Submit button, you can do it via Edit - Preferences - Email Accounts.
