Percentage Field like in MS Excel [SOLVED]

Hi
I have a NUMBER(15,3) field in which users can enter percentages.
If a user enters 20 (%), the customer wants 0.2 to be stored in the DB, like in MS Excel.
As far as I know there is no such data type for fields, is it?
Is there a simple solution for this?
Or do I have to create an non-database item and write triggers to convert the values?

Sometimes when I click in text fields (like to fill out a captcha), I get a pop-up ad and Firefox immediately switches to it, leaving the tab blank.

My problem is pretty much this, if I can explain it well enough: when I click on certain text fields, like to input the answer to a captcha, for instance, I constantly get pop-up ads and Firefox will switch to the pop-up, leaving the entire page that I was on before blank as if I opened a new tab.
This started a while ago and I'd been trying to just deal with it, but it's really starting to drive me up the wall. Is there a fix to this? I'm sure it happened when I went to about:config to try and fix something about text auto-filling. I can't say whether I did that right or wrong, considering my text doesn't autofill anymore, but now I have this annoying problem.

Percentage field in Adobe forms

I have a requirement to display a percentage field with 2 decimal places in an Adobe form e.g. 75.00%.
The field has been declared as type ANZHL (DEC Length=7 Decimals=2) in a data dictionary structure.
When debugging the controlling program and the actual function module generated for the form itself the contents of the field is 75.00.
In the layout of the form the field has been created as a Decimal field with Display pattern and Data pattern of num{zzzz9.zz%}.
However, when the form is previewed or printed the field is displayed as 7500%.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

I know this is quite old topic, but for future reference another solution is to use '%' in the pattern.
For example:
you have decimal value 75.00,
- when using pattern num{zz.99%}, it will output 7500%
- when using pattern num{zz.99 '%'}, it will output % as a string, and the whole output will be 75.00 %
So in second case you don't need any extra (floating or text) field to have percentage in.

Metadata fields like Tags, page ID etc not available for a Content in Content Server info.

Am trying to build a Webcenter Portal application with the help of a tutorial. This requires to upload files to Content Server and use these files to build the app. and to link the navigations for menu and sub-menus.
I have checked in the files manually into Webcenter Content but when checked for the Content Information, metadata fields like Tags, Page ID, Websites etc are not displayed.
These fields are necessary to relate to the Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) query used in application.
The tutorial link am referring to is : Connecting to and Managing Content Repositories - 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.6.0)
Content Management system server version is: 11gR1- 11.1.1.7.0
Please let me know if am missing something.

Percentage field in infotype 0001

while hiring a person, the percentage field in organizational plan of infotype 0001 is defaulted as 0.00, where as it should be actually 100.00.
can any one help on what could be the possible reason and the slution.

There is no impact on the comments are added to packages.
The perpormance of the application not dependent on the comments.

Hi Jones,
what is displayed in the menu on the left side depends on the users role, respectively on the role menu defined in the role. Should you want to change this, you can create your own custom version of the standard role and remove any entries not wanted.
The content in the main area of the SUS start page depends on the users authorization. Authorization object BBP_SUS_P2 will control to which documents the user has access and according to that the content will be shown or hidden in the start page.

Ugh, do you have taken over the LimitValidator and the JSF example (including the f:validateDoubleRange which is unnecessary in this case) literally without actually reading/interpreting/understanding it? No, then it is indeed not going to work. Basically you just need to define a validator in the one password field and pass the client ID of the another field as attribute along the one password field. In the validator you can retrieve the value of the another field by its client ID and finally just invoke String#equals() on the values of the both fields.
