Phase calculation

I would like to know if there is a SubVi that calculates the angle phase between two analogical signals (or waveforms). If answer is negative, how could I do it in an efficient way?.
Thank you!.

For the phase difference to make sense, your signals have to either be periodic and share a common fundamental frequency or at least be very "similar" with the one being more or less a delayed version of the other one (this would for example be the case if you only have a sub-period duration of your signals)
In the first case you can for example use the VI "Extract Single Tone Information.vi" located in your Analysis>Waveform Measurements palette. The VI will return the detected fundamental frequency (make sure you get "almost" the same result on both signals), and the start phase of that signal. Then simply subtract the two phase values to get your result.
If your signals are not periodic (that is do not show a common fundamental frequency), then you may
still be able to extract a good estimate of the time delay between them. Use the Cross Correlation function. The peak value position of your result with respect to the center is a good estimate of the delay. To get your result converted to a phase difference you still need a signal frequency (that you hopefully know from your system)

• Phase calculation in conditional loop

I collect data from 2 channels on an Agilest oscilloscope (DSO-X-2004A) using the IVI Scope Acquire block. After acquiring those signals, I want to know the phase difference, which I calculate in the following manner: Tone Extraction CH1, Tone Extraction CH2, Formula (detect phase1 - detect phase 2).
I want to run this in a loop, and store the phase difference each loop. For that I have a conditional loop (set to 10 iterations for now), and after each phase difference calculation I save the new data point to a txt file. Is there another way of storing/saving the phase difference calculation from each loop, besides saving it to file?
The next problem I have is that after all the loops are finished, I want to look at the phase difference data and plot it vs iteration number. This is a problem because I get the error: "The selected file does not contains any Signals that could be imported" when trying to load the data at the end. I have the load ascii block outside the conditional loop that generates the data file, so I don't know why the load ascii is trying to excecute before the loop is done. I tried splitting everything into Sequence conditions with execution delays, but that hasn't worked either.
Is there a better way to save the calculation from each loop, or how do I appropriately load by text file after creating it in the same signal express project?
Thanks,
John Oxaal

Thanks for sending the the project. For now if you would like to easily integrate the setup that you have in SignalExpress into LabVIEW you can actually convert the project into LabVIEW code. As long as the LabVIEW version is as late or later than your SignalExpress version, you can do this. Please refer to document below on how to convert signal express project into a LabVIEW VI.
How Can I Generate a LabVIEW VI From My SignalExpress Project?:

Once you figure out how to take in your data in LabVIEW, you can start placing your data in the array that I mentioned from which you can process the data.

• Why does my labview filter cause a 360 phase shift?

I'm looking at the phase difference between two channels on my 4472. how can I avoid the -360 degrees added to my relative phase. the -360 is not consistent and is only added as I go up in frequency with my input signals (around 8k). also, why don't all my channels start out at 0 degrees phase. sometimes they start at 180 and sometime 0 (at DC).
thankyou very much
Jim

Jim -
I don't have a very concrete answer for you, but rather a debugging suggestion.
I would recommend testing your filter and phase difference algortihms with some LabVIEW generated data such as a simple single tone sine wave. This way, you should be about to easily determine exactly what the results should be. If you still see strange results, then we can stop looking into the filter and phase calculation.
Also, it's always easier to give more specific suggestion when you can provide code which is small and hardware independent so everyone can reproduce what you're seeing.

• NonLinearFitWithMaxIters does not give correct results for phase

Dear all,
I am trying to fit a sin cuve with NonLinearFitWithMaxIters function of labwindows, but the results given by this function are dispersed a lot (the function does not give same results).
In fact, I have two waveforms signals v and i (of 104 points), and I find the phase between the two signals with NonLinearFitWithMaxIters.
The two singals v and i are measured with an osciloscope.
I use the following fit functions :
v=p1*sin(wt+p2) ;
i=p3*sin(wt+p4) ;
I use the NonLinearFitWithMaxIters function to fit the data and to have the parameters p1, p2, p3, p4. Then, the phase is claculated as follow phase=p4-p3.
The problem is that the phase calculted between the two signals (v and i) is different for each run for the same conditions.
In fact, for a same condition, I measure different times the signals v and i, and I calculate the phase p4-p3, using NonLinearFitWithMaxIters. The goal is to calculate a mean of phases for the same condition. For example, there are cases where the phase=-5 degree, and other cases when phase=12 degree.
For ten measures of v and i, the phase calculated is different. I get a big dispersion between the phases.
I would like to know please why I have a big difference in phases calculated with the same condition?whern using NonLinearFitWithMaxIters.
I read that this function does not give all time the correct results, is there a way to know when the results are not corrects and when they are correct ?
And is there any solution to find accuratly the phase between the two waveforms.
Thank you for your precious answer.

The pseudocode which I am using is :
v_err=NonLinearFitWithMaxIters(array_x,array_v,v_y_fit,1252,100,sinus,v_coef,2,&v_mean_squareError);
The fit function is
double sinus(double x, double a[],int noef){
return (a[0]*sin((w*x)+a[1]));
I use the same inital coeficient of v_coef for each run :
v_coef[0]=0.03;
v_coef[1]=0.2;
These coeficient are choosen arbitrary.
In this case, the number of points of the data is 1252 (the data of array_v).
The number of iterations is 100.
For the array_x, the distance between adjacents values of the array is dt=0.4*1e-9(difference between array_x[i] anv array_x[i+1]=dt=0.4*1e-9 ).
for (i=0;i<1252;i++){
array_x[i]=i*(0.4*1e-9);
The means square error returnned by the function when it is complished is small, of the order of 0,001.
I read the help
« From the help:
You must pass a pointer to the nonlinear function f(x,a) along with a set of initial guess coefficients a. NonLinearFitWithMaxIters does not always give the correct answer. The correct output sometimes depends on the initial choice of a. It is very important to verify the final result.
That means that the function cannot be used, as it does not give correct results. How
can we check if the results are good or not ? in my case.
I think that in my case, the function does not give correct results, but how can I check if the results are good, or not ? The mean square error is small.

• Interchannel delay and phase measurement

Hi all,
Below is my latest vi, which I am using to measure the phase shift across the RC circuit. The values I am getting each time I run the program have an error of 0-0.3 radians. When testing for interchannel delay (i.e I put the two analog inputs at the same point on the RC circuit expecting the same readings). However the delay (measured also in radians of phase shift) varies 0-0.3.
It appears that error is related to the interchannel delay but they are not constant (each run the error is different). Can anyone provide me with insight on how to correct this?
If someone could also check the program to see if anything is amiss there.
Sorry the explanation is poor I am having trouble wording the problem. Please ask for any more details. Feedback/advice as always would be hugely appreciated.

You can account for interchannel delay using the "AI Convert Rate" property available in DAQmx. Invert it (to get how long the interchannel delay is) and multiply it by the current frequency (in radians per sec) and subtract that from your phase calculation.

• How to do outer join select query for an APEX report

Hello everyone,
I am Ann.
I have one select statement that calculate the statistics for one month(October 2012 in this example)
select ph.phase_number
, sum ( (case
WHEN ph.date_finished IS NULL OR ph.date_finished > last_day(TO_DATE('Oct 2012','MON YYYY'))
THEN last_day(TO_DATE('Oct 2012','MON YYYY'))
ELSE ph.date_finished
END )
- ph.date_started + 1) / count(def.def_id) as avg_days
from phase_membership ph
inner join court_engagement ce on ph.mpm_eng_id = ce.engagement_id
inner join defendant def on ce.defendant_id = def.def_id
where def.active = 1
and ph.date_started <= last_day(TO_DATE('Oct 2012','MON YYYY'))
and ph.active = 1
and UPPER(ce.court_name) LIKE '%'
group by rollup(phase_number)
Result is as below
Phase_Number     AVG_DAYS
Phase One     8.6666666666666667
Phase Two     14.6
Phase Three     12
11.4615365
I have other select list mainly list the months between two date value.
select to_char(which_month, 'MON YYYY') as display_month
from (
select add_months(to_date('Aug 2012','MON YYYY'), rownum-1) which_month
from all_objects
where
rownum <= months_between(to_date('Oct 2012','MON YYYY'), add_months(to_date('Aug 2012','MON YYYY'), -1))
order by which_month )
Query result is as below
DISPLAY_MONTH
AUG 2012
SEP 2012
OCT 2012
Is there any way that I can join these two select statement above to generate a result like:
Month          Phase Number     Avg days
Aug 2012     Phase One     8.666
Sep 2012     Phase One     7.66
Oct 2012     Phase One     5.66
Aug 2012     Phase Two     8.666
Sep 2012     Phase Two     7.66
Oct 2012     Phase Two     5.66
Aug 2012     Phase Three     8.666
Sep 2012     Phase Three     7.66
Oct 2012     Phase Three     5.66
Or
Month          Phase Number     Avg days
Aug 2012     Phase One     8.666
Aug 2012     Phase Two     7.66
Aug 2012     Phase Three     5.66
Sep 2012     Phase One     8.666
Sep 2012     Phase Two     7.66
Sep 2012     Phase Three     5.66
Oct 2012     Phase One     8.666
Oct 2012     Phase Two     7.66
Oct 2012     Phase Three     5.66
And it can be order by either Phase Number or Month.
My other colleague suggest I should use an left outer join but after trying so many ways, I am still stuck.
One of the select I tried is
select a.display_month,b.* from (
select to_char(which_month, 'MON YYYY') as display_month
from (
select add_months(to_date('Aug 2012','MON YYYY'), rownum-1) which_month
from all_objects
where
rownum <= months_between(to_date('Oct 2012','MON YYYY'), add_months(to_date('Aug 2012','MON YYYY'), -1))
order by which_month )) a left outer join
( select to_char(ph.date_finished,'MON YYYY') as join_month, ph.phase_number
, sum ( (case
WHEN ph.date_finished IS NULL OR ph.date_finished > last_day(TO_DATE(a.display_month,'MON YYYY'))
THEN last_day(TO_DATE(a.display_month,'MON YYYY'))
ELSE ph.date_finished
END )
- ph.date_started + 1) / count(def.def_id) as avg_days
from phase_membership ph
inner join court_engagement ce on ph.mpm_eng_id = ce.engagement_id
inner join defendant def on ce.defendant_id = def.def_id
where def.active = 1
and ph.date_started <= last_day(TO_DATE(a.display_month,'MON YYYY'))
and ph.active = 1
and UPPER(ce.court_name) LIKE '%'
group by to_char(ph.date_finished,'MON YYYY') , rollup(phase_number)) b
on a.display_month = b.join_month
but then I get an error
SQL Error: ORA-00904: "A"."DISPLAY_MONTH": invalid identifier
I need to display a report on APEX with option for people to download at least CSV format.
I already have 1 inteactive report in the page, so don’t think can add another interactive report without using the iframe trick.
If any of you have any ideas, please help.
Thanks a lot.

First of all, a huge thanks for following this Frank.
I have just started working here, I think the Oracle version is 11g, but not sure.

The requirements are:
The user must be able to request the extract for one or more calendar months, e.g.
May 2013
May 2013 – Sep 2013.
The file must contain a separate row for each calendar month in the requested range. Each row must contain the statistics computed for that calendar month.
The file must also include a row of totals.
The user must be able to request the extract for either Waitakere or Auckland or Consolidated (both courts’ statistics accumulated).
Then the part that I am stuck is
For each monitoring phase:
Phase name (e.g. “Phase One”)
Avg_time_in_phase_all_particip
for each phase name,
Add up days in each “phase name” Monitoring Phase, calculated as:
If Monitoring Phase.Date Finished is NULL or > month end date,
+(*Month end date* Minus Monitoring Phase.Date Started Plus 1)+
Otherwise (phase is complete)
+(Monitoring Phase.Date Finished Minus Monitoring Phase.Date Started Plus 1.)+
Divide by the numbers of all participants who have engaged in “phase name”.
This is the words of the Business Analyst,
I try to do as required but still struggle to identify end_month for the above formula to display for the range of months.
Of course, I can write two nested cursor. The first one run the list of month, then for each month, run the parameterised report.
But I prefer if possible just use SQL statements, or at least a PL/SQL but return a query.
With this way, I can create an APEX report, and use their CSV Extract function.
Yes, you are right, court_name is one of the selection parameters.
And the statistics is not exactly for one month. It is kind of trying to identify all phases that are running through the specified month (even phase.date_started is before the month start).
This is the reason why I put the condition AND ph.date_started <= last_day(TO_DATE('Oct 2012','MON YYYY')) (otherwise I get negative avg_days)
User can choose either one court "AA" or "BB" or combined which is all figures.
Sorry for bombarding you a lot of information.
Thanks a lot, again.

13 rows selected And to put thing in big picture, this is the requirement from the Business Analyst
The user must be able to request the extract for either AA or BB or Consolidated (both courts’ statistics accumulated).
Then the part that I am working on is
For each monitoring phase:
Phase name (e.g. “Phase One”)
Avg_time_in_phase_all_particip
for each phase name,
Add up days in each “phase name” Monitoring Phase, calculated as:
If Monitoring Phase.Date Finished is NULL or > month end date,
(*Month end date* Minus Monitoring Phase.Date Started Plus 1)
Otherwise (phase is complete)
(Monitoring Phase.Date Finished Minus Monitoring Phase.Date Started Plus 1.)
Divide by the numbers of all participants who have engaged in “phase name”.Thanks again for reading and spending time to help,

• Single tone Tx/Rx and DC offsets

Using a 2920...I would like to transmit a single tone on the Tx channel (i.e. I and Q constant)...then receive that single tone on the opposite Rx channel, and measure the phase. Since the Rx I and Q would be at DC...this makes the phase calculation rather simple.
In my own experimentation with the shipped Tx and Rx examples though, it seems that signals around a few 10's of Hz of the carrier are attenuated. It was suggested to me that perhaps the DC offset removal procedure in the FPGA is removing my desired signal. If I move either the Tx or Rx frequency slightly off of the other, then the signal returns. I and Q are at the IF obviously...and while I could still calculate phase with I and Q at an IF...it results in other undesired changes in my application (longer integration times, more processing, etc) that I'd like to avoid.
On the other hand...some other USRP users I know have not had this issue with Tx and Rx at the same frequency. It's possible I'm configuring the radio incorrectly (which I tried to eliminate by using the canned examples)...which is why I'd like to understand whether or not narrowband Tx/Rx is even possible.
Any thoughts here?

Hopefully, you'll see this and say "Of course"
On the transmitter, when you change your tone frequency, you'll need to adjust your number of samples accordingly to generate a complete, continuous, waveform. If you don't, the starting point and the ending point won't line up and you'll have discontinuities when you loop back over your waveform.

• Multisim Measurement Probe Error

Hello,
I have assigned an AC circuit problem to my students. They are to measure voltage and current values with magnitude and phase. It appears that some of the results are incorrect. The circuit with results is attached and the correct answers are below.
I made similar measurement with the FG and scopes and it is correct.
Is = 943<33.61° mA                 I22nF = 849<59.36° mA             V3k =  1.23<-30.64° V
I3k =  410<-30.64° mA

Hello,
You are using a Probe in reference to another probe to calculate the phase at that point. This has a limited functionality as it only gives the Voltage phase. If you simply put down those probes without reference, you'll notice:
1. The Irms and Vrms are correct in this case.
2. The phase won't be shown.
This is due to the fact that the reference probe calculates a difference. In the case of the current through the 22nf Cap, you'll notice the pahse is 30.8. This is because that's the difference in phase of the voltage (which is the same for both I22n and I3k) compared to the one coming from the source. This is calculated as Referenced Probe - Probe. If we were to divide using a calculator phase of V by the impedance at 22n then we'd obtain the correct current.
The phase calculation is of limited functionality in Multisim.
Kind Regards,

• Calculation of phase shift

Hi all,
I am continuously acquiring two sinusoidal signals from the analog inputs of a daq card and saving the samples of the two signals into two different float type arrays. Can anyone tell me that how to calculate the phase shift between these two signals and as well as the peak voltage of the two signals? Please expain me with the help of an example code.
Thanks

Hi AI S
I have gone through the example of phase diff e.g and i have written the following code but when i run it , it gives the max value of 1st sine wave (outarray1) nearly equal (i-e 7.7 volt ) but it should be 8 V pk.
But for the 2nd sinewave (outarray2) it gives the max value from 0 volt to 1.5 volt pk but it should give 1.5 Volt pk only and the phase difference is displayed as 0.000 , even there is no update in decimals in it.
One more thing to tell that 1 complete sine wave consists of 1024 samples , therefore in outarray1 and outarray2 , there are 8 cycles each. In one iteration of the loop outarray1 is filled and in other iteration outarray2 is filled , then i calculate the phase shift. Please tell me what i am doing wrong.
Here is my code
double outarray1[8192],outarray2[8192] ;
double *peakLoc, *peakAmp, *peakDeriv;
int count;
static double wave1maxval = 0.0;
static int wave1maxind = 0;
static double wave2maxval = 0.0;
static int wave2maxind = 0;
static double phasediff;
PeakDetector (outarray1,8192,0.0, 3, 0, 1, 1, &count, &peakLoc, &peakAmp, &peakDeriv);
if (count>0)
wave1maxind = peakLoc[0];
wave1maxval = peakAmp[0];
SetCtrlVal(panelHandle,PANEL_wave1maxind, wave1maxind);
SetCtrlVal(panelHandle,PANEL_wave1maxval, wave1maxval);
if (peakLoc)
FreeAnalysisMem (peakLoc);
if (peakAmp)
FreeAnalysisMem (peakAmp);
if (peakDeriv)
FreeAnalysisMem (peakDeriv);
PeakDetector ( outarray2,8192,0.0, 3, 0, 1, 1, &count, &peakLoc, &peakAmp, &peakDeriv);
if (count>0)
wave2maxind = peakLoc[0];
wave2maxval = peakAmp[0];
SetCtrlVal(panelHandle,PANEL_wave2maxind, wave2maxind);
SetCtrlVal(panelHandle,PANEL_wave2maxval, wave2maxval);
if (peakLoc)
FreeAnalysisMem (peakLoc);
if (peakAmp)
FreeAnalysisMem (peakAmp);
if (peakDeriv)
FreeAnalysisMem (peakDeriv);
phasediff = (8/8192) * (wave1maxind - wave2maxind) * 360;
phasediff = fmod (phasediff, 360);
SetCtrlVal(panelHandle,PANEL_Phase_Diff,phasediff);

• Score calculations are out of date (Evaluation phase)

Hi Team,
Upon collaborators and users evaluating RFX's in the system, I'm having issues with the system firstly:
Not recognising the scores and secondly retrieveing a red message on the evaluation page stating, Score calculations are out of date. When i imput the scores it states 'Completed' - and then after coming out of the rfx, and then going back into the RFX, the scores are lost. Additionally, i am pressing DONE, so the scores are being saved.
Further, the field states, 'NOT COMPLETE' - (after i've completed it) - yet the scores have all been inserted.
I'm unsure if these issues are linked, but a solution to the issue would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks.
Leon

CHRIS M,
Thanks for the advice. Before I did that, I swapped out my other set of speakers from my Dimension 9200 and they worked fine on the XPS. Therefore, the speakers must be "bad", because they have the same problem on the other computer. Time for a new set.
Thanks again.

• The affect of failed validation on the page rendering phase

This is divided in two parts. In the first one I describe the behavior and in the second I show work around and make a suggestion.
The need that started this was that the value an item needed to be recalculated each time de page was shown. This page could be called from buttons and from branches on other pages. So the logical place to put this calculation is in Computation of the Page Rendering phase. But, when a validation failed the value wasn't shown on the browser and I later discovered it was not calculated at all. I tried moving the calculation in a Process of the Page Rendering phase, but to that didn't worked either. So I needed to have a beter understanding of happens when a validation fails, ence this test.
The test was done on version 3.1.2 of APEX.
For this test, here is what I programmed (if no values is specified, than the property has the default value):
1. I created a blank page
-- In the Page Rendering part --
2. I created a region with the following properties
Identification
- Title: Alpha
- Type: PL/SQL (Anonymous block)
Source
- Region Source: wwv_flow.debug('> RENDER REGION Alpha SOURCE');

- Caching: Cahed
- Cache Condition Type: PL/SQL Function Body Returning a Boolean
- Expression 1: wwv_flow.debug('> RENDER REGION Alpha CACHE CONDITION'); RETURN TRUE;
3. I created an item with the following properties
Name
- Name: P1_X

- Source Used: Always, replacing any existing value in session state

Looking at those debug output, I was able to find a workaround. Look at the line 264 and compare that to the lines 076 to 080. What I did is put the computation in the condition. This way, I'm garanteed that the calculation is always done. Here is an exemple:
A Computation (in the Page Rendering part)
Item Name
- Item Name: P1_Y
- Type: PL/SQL Function body
Computation Point
- Computation Point:After Submit
Source
- Computation: RETURN :P1_Y; -- Never executed. Look in the condition for computation
Conditional Computations
- Condition Type: PL/SQL Function Body Returning a Boolean
- Expression 1: :P1_Y := COMPUTE(); RETURN FALSE;
This works but totally break the semantics created in APEX.
Suggestion:
In the Page rendering phase, when a validation fails, the source compution found in a Item (in that case the value is taken from the session state), in a Computation or in Process is never executed.
This should revised.
Their should be a way for the programmer to choose what behavior the rendering phase will have when a validation fails other than using a workaround that might break in futur versions of APEX.

Dominique,
Thank you for the detailed problem description. Although you posted it some ten hours ago I have just now finished reading it.
Form pages must be built so they can operate correctly when inline validation errors are displayed. The assumption (by the engine) is that session state (and package state) as it exists at the point the validations are performed is sufficient (and correct) to support the redisplay of the page without the need to fire on-load processes or computations. Session state or package state changes made by after-submit computations or after-submit/before computations/validations processes that prevent correct page behavior on the "validation redisplay" must be avoided.
The condition types Inline Validation Errors Displayed/No Inline Validation Errors Displayed can be used for on-load events/controls (processes, computations, regions, items, ...) for which you need finer control over this behavior.
Also, you can forgo the use of after-submit computations when the resulting alteration of session state would be inimical to proper "validation redisplay" behavior and use On Submit - After Computations and Validations processes instead.
I hope I have understood your situation and that this answer adequately answers your questions.

• Calculation of depreciation and interest for a particular asset class

Hi,
I have a problem with the calculation of depreciation and interest for a particular asset class. The assets are financial leases. The depreciation key defined is LEAS. The following are the attributes of this key:
Dep/int phase base met dec-bal prd cont mult lvl chn ov
Ord.depreciation     1     0011     001     006     001        5
Ord.depreciation     2     0002     001     003     003
Interest             1     0028     001     003     010
An example of an asset is:
Aquisition value: 1041552.71 (as migrated on 01.04.2007)
Ordinary dep already posted: 56243.88
Net book value: 985308.83
Scrap Value:729086.90
Useful life: 50 years
Expired useful life: 9 years 1 month
Remaining useful life: 40 years 11 months.
Depreciation start date: 28.03.1998
Interest calculation start date:30.03.1997
Depreciation calculated by the system:6261.83
Interest calculated in the year:15682.68
I'm not able to undersatnd on what basis the system calculated the interest. I will be thankful if anyone can help me resolve this. An early reply will be greatly appreciated as I'm facing major problems due to this issue.

Hi Mahesh,
As per my analysis of the case the interest rates are as under
Acq. Year                                                    Int.Percent
9999     4          01     10.%
9999     7          01     5.%
9999     25          01     2.5%
9999     999     12     01     2.5%
As per this the Acquisition value less the Scrap Value Rs.312,465.00 @ 2.5% p.a will be Rs. 7811.64.
Based on the above you analyse for which period interest is calculated.
Hope it will help.
Regards,
Vijay

• How can I display the Process Level by Phase in a Grid or Data Form?

We are using phased submissions. I can see that changing the display options on a grid will show the current Process Level for the processing unit defined by the POV. But how can we break this down by phase?

Try what is suggested in Page 243 of the User's Guide:
You can display multiple submission phases, view review level status, and perform process management actions for multiple phases in Process Control.
If you select Single period view, you can select one or more submission phases to include in the columns. For each column, you can display one or more of these options: Calculation Status, Journals, Review Level, Pass/Fail, and Validation. If selected, Review Level, Pass/Fail, and Validation are included for each phase. Since Calculation Status and Journals apply to the entire processing unit, they are displayed only once regardless of how many phases are selected. If you select All period view, you can select Calculation Status or Review Level information for the columns. If you select Review Level information, you should select one submission phase
for display. When you select All periods, or Tree for the display, the filter option is unavailable.
Here is the options:

Hi Frank,
Thanks for your reply, i run the given command and it showed the following message:
db2 => connect to DB user sapslm using <pwd>
SQL1013N The database alias name or database name "DB" could not be found.
SQLSTATE=42705
I changed the command with:
db2 => connect user sapslm using <pwd>
Database Connection Information
Database server        = DB2/NT64 9.5.0
SQL authorization ID   = SAPSLM
Local database alias   = SLM
db2 => connect user slmadm using <pwd>
Database Connection Information
Database server        = DB2/NT64 9.5.0
SQL authorization ID   = SLMADM
Local database alias   = SLM
Then, i re-generate dscdb6up.conf file with:
dscdb6up -create <pwd> <pwd>
and restart installing but still not work.
Did i miss something?
Please advise.
Thanks and Regards,
