Photo gallery intergration with web app

I want to create a web app where If I create a new item, that automaticly will create a new photo gallery. Also this photo gallery will be automaticly linked in a field with the photo gallery code. Is this possible? Yes, How can I achieve this?

It is a common error luckily and I believe its only here:
<script data-main="scripts/main.js" src="scripts/require-jquery.js"></script>
When you reference BC scripts etc you need to tell BC to read from the root so when you go into things like a detail view of a web app which is a folder level down from the root where to find the code.
Any script, image, css call etc needs to have a / in front of it.
So ...
scripts/require-jquery.js
Would be...
/scripts/require-jquery.js
And so on.

You can enter the descriptions using the "File Info" properties for each photo, using Adobe Bridge or Photoshop. I have encountered a similar problem in that my descriptions were not always showing up in the pages generated by the Web Photo Gallery.
After some investigation, I found that the descriptions were disappearing only for photos that had a Return / Line Break in the description. If you go back and make sure all of your descriptions are a single line, it works fine. This is a bug in the Web Photo Gallery code...you can see it in the Javascript code that it generates for each page.

And it looks like you have sub-folders with images in them like these from 2011 and 2010

Is it possible to create a Photo Gallery DVD with downloadable content?

I am looking for a way to create a photo gallery, distribute it via DVD, and have the end user be able to download the photos from within the photo gallery. This would function exactly like the iPhoto web galleries, but would be distributed on DVD rather than posted to the web. Is this possible? I am looking for a way for a user to download the photos, in low res and high res, from within the DVD player.

My first suggestion is to use Apple's Pro apps (ie, DVDSP) if you plan to use this DVD commercially. You'll get far better results and you will also be able to meet nearly all of the above objectives.
If on the other hand you don't have the time to learn apple's pro apps which does have a large learning curve compared to the i-apps, and you are currently working with a shoestring budget, then you can meet at least some of these objectives within iDvd by adding your content to the Dvd rom section of the Dvd. The app that one uses to play the slideshow from this data section of the Dvd depends largely on the available apps on the host computer system having access to this data in terms of what software is available to play its content. Hope this makes sense but if not, just come on back. Good luck.

I'm having a problem with inserting a photo gallery created with Bridge

Adobe Bridge - Why do I have a white bar on my page?
I am using windows vista, Dreamweaver cs4 and Adobe bridge to insert a photo gallery.
I am using an I-frame to embed a photo gallery that was created with Adobe Bridge CS4. Adobe Bridge instructed me to make the i-frame height = 75% of the width. The code is <iframe src="PhotoAlbum/index.html" width="900" height="675" frameborder="0"></iframe>
my css places the album in #photoalbum.
#photoAlbum contains the i-frame with the following properties:

Why does this bar show up when /PhotoAlbum/index.html is put into an I-frame? How can I get rid of the vertical bar?

Asset Gallery or Photo Gallery or 3rd Party app

Hi im working on a project for a local charity a dog shelter, They want a public web site to showcase their dogs and development time is a priority so I turned to SharePoint on office 365 which has already solved most of their requirements the only thing
left is the dogs.
The photo gallery seems to be close to what they need the only thing I need to change is the thumbnail size, details displayed on the "chrome" and where the user is sent when the image is clicked.
Is it possible to achive this using office 365 hosted sharepoint or do I need to use a third party application ?
To clarify they want an explorer like view of photo thumbnails when one is hovered over minimal data like the name breed etc is shown and finally when clicked they are taken to another page with the full details.

Need help in adding Cooliris photo gallery to premade web template.

Hi,
I purchased a flash template that has nice effects. I would like to add Cooliris or a nice photo gallery page to the site. I contacted their help forum from where I bought the template and they say the effects are an embedded video that has to be custom editied, which I don't know how to do.

Photo Gallery combined with three column CSS

Hi, I am trying to implement your photo gallery into our
school site and I am having trouble with the layout. I am using a
three-column layout created with CSS and JS, and then placing the
photo gallery inside of this. What happens is when you pull up the
page the three column layout does not position everything correctly
until you resize the browser window (ever so slightly). Help, have
been staring at CSS and JS code now for about a month and cannot

Your Google ads are in an iframe. This rule will get you
started

You can leave the position static if you like, and it will
move up and
down with your images - I found that a bit distracting,
though. If you
leave it static, use a top-margin to establish space between

and the ads.
The !important notation is required for the height,
indicating either a

Where did webapp help go? there is no documentation to do with web apps in the new help pages???

hi, when i login as a partner, when i click on the help and support, the new help pages have nothing referring to web apps.... even when you search, i can find some old knowledge base pages on adobe, but why is web app help pages missing from the new help pages?
what gives?

Web app's are not being dropped.
The support change over has just been done badly thats all. Pushing to get this sorted myself so stay tuned.
Web apps are not only staying but down the line will have a full revamp so you can do things like build your own custom blog with them if you wanted to. After that the ability to compile them and sell them on and a BC market place are all things that have been mentioned.

Members regular gift contacts with web apps?

Hi All,
Appreciate if anyone can help. I am building an online gift shop and my customer wants the ability for the regular customers to be able to log in and store their friends and family special dates. For example, Wife's Engagement, Wife's Birthday, Sister etc.. Once these are stored, the customer can log in and simply choose the gift and select "Wife" and it will automatically add in the address details to an order form.
I am thinking to do this as a web app, but i have two main questions:
1. Can a web app be created so that a member can only see and edit those contacts he created?
2. How can an order form capture these details after the memeber selects "wife" etc..
Then further on the back of this, say he adds in wifes birthday into the web app, can this then be used by the email marketing to automatcially send an email to customer to remind him about wifes birthday and order gift?

To answer your questions about number 1: You can have a website user login to a secure zone. Once inside the secure zone you can add a form to add a web app item. Once the item is submitted by the user while they are in a secure zone it gets "attached" to their account. When a web app item is attached to a user you can show them a list of their submitted web apps in the secure zone only. You could list these publicly as well but that's not a good idea if it's a collection of personal information like addresses.
My concern with this is I know that BC creates a publick URL for each web app item. This gets included in your sitemap.xml file automatically. The only way to avoid this is to disable the web app item but that also will disable it from being show to logged in users when you list their submitted web app items.
Because of this concern I don't think it's possible to achieve what you want. The web app items are considered public and I don't think there's a way to turn that off. I hope someone has a way around this, but I can't think of one. And because web of the public nature of web app items I don't think web apps is the way to go.
You'd think that you could do it with an extended CRM dataset but I'm not sure how you'd go about it.
Re: Automated emails to your customer. That is possible. BC has a set number of fields that email campaigns use to send email campaigns against. The first one is "Birthday" and the other are open-ended for you to use any type of date-- anniversary, etc.

But, again, there's a set number of fields for anniversary dates right now in BC so they can only add a few of them which might not be applicable for your case.

Spry Photo Gallery Widget with filmstrip

Photo Gallery Disappears with ICS

Trying to use the Photo Gallery after my ICS upgrade today. It will appear for a second or two, but if I try to create a slideshow or access Gallery Home, it reverts back to camera. Anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Try this : Settings / Applications / Running - scroll down to Media and click on it.. Select Clear Data ... this does NOT delete your pics, etc .. It just allows for a 'refresh' of the directory of images .. It does this the 1st time you open the Gallery - which if you hve a lot of images can take a few mins .. be patient.

no, there is not. This also would be a quite annoying feature as you don't know if a restart of WLS fixes a problem. I would investigate into the cause of the problem. I can imagine you run into PemGen issues (for which however you should see a warning dialog before)

Lightroom 3 Error Working With Photos That Work With Other Apps

My Setup:
Lightroom 3.3 for Mac
iMac OS X 10.6.6
The problem:
Lightroom is unable to work with photos it used to be able to work with. In the Library Module I get the error message "There was an error working with the photo." In the Develop Module I get the message "The file appears to be unsupported or damaged."
Now I know the photos are ok because I can view them in other apps including Photoshop CS5
And these photos used to work in Lightroom.
I am suspicious it has something to do with Picasa, which I use to catalog faces. I have compared the exif data and the photos that don't work have an extra value called "Image Unique Id" and it appears to be a long hexadecimal number. Also, the software version has been modified to indicate "Picasa".
It bothers me that a world class product like LIghtroom is not robust enough to work on these files when everything else I have tried does work. The problem is LIghtroom is the primary tool in my workflow.
So has anybody seen this and know of a way to fix it?

Thanks for the feedback, but my I think my concern is valid. Whatever Picasa is doing to the photo other apps like Apple Preview and CS5 can deal with it. Lightroom cannot. I am not explicitly modifying the files in Picasa just using Picasa to catalogue the faces. So yes, I will quit using Picasa, but I still have hundreds (if not thousands) of photos that can no longer be processed by Lightroom and I need guidance on how to best recover these photos.
I didn't know whether the Image Unique Id is standard or not, but I do know it does not show up in the files that work, only in the files that do not work. I just assumed that it was non-standard because I did not see it on functioning files.
Also, I would argue that Lightroom should be better able to handle this kind of situation instead of just not working. Thanks again.
