Photos removed - but still says .89gb is used. Why?
My 16gb (13.75 useable) ipod was almost full so I started removing many files, photos and unneeded apps. But the bar shows I have almost 1gb (.89) of photos. I have removed almost all my photos and this number stays constant. How do I fix this?
First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

You'll want a separate iCloud account for each user in addition to the main Apple ID used for purchases.
Let's say you have a family of four (husband, wife, and two children). Here is what you will need:

Additionally, on each iOS device, add a new iCloud account (Under Mail, Contacts, Calendar) that is unique to each user for the following services:

On your individual Macs (or Mac accounts), use the main Apple ID in iTunes. Then, use the unique iCloud account in/for iCloud.
Now that everbody is using separate iCloud accounts for your contacts, calendars, and other things, it will be all be kept separate.
The only thing that is now 'shared' would be iTunes content (apps and other purchases), backups via iCloud (if enabled), and Photo Stream (if enabled). -
I've deleted all my emails and texts to make room for the 7.1 upgrade but my usage still says I'm using 641MB for mail and 364 MB for messages. Anyone know how to free up this memory? I have a 16 GB model. Thank you.

Go to Settings - General - Usage and see which apps are taking up a lot of space.
In my experience, if you haven't cleaned out your Messages that is where a lot of space is consumed. -

I'm having problems with excessive email usage on my iphone 4/ios 7. Just noticed that it (settings/usage) was using 900+ mb. I deleted all my mail, deleted the mail account, turned the phone off and back on, downloaded any remaining mail on the server to Outlook on my computer, and it still says it's using 661 mb. My ipad uses a fraction of that.
Background: I recently (December) bought an ipad and set up icloud for contacts and calendar, but NOT mail. My email provider is Verizon. I use computer, iphone, and ipad to check my email; eventually I download it from the server using Outlook on the computer and then delete any remaining emails from the phone and ipad. It sounds like your iPad all of a sudden seems to be restarting out of no where. If you haven't called AppleCare yet, I would start with quitting either the app that seems to be causing the issue, or all the apps if a single doesn't seem to be the culprit.
iOS: Force an app to close
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
If the issue persists, backup your device to iTunes, then restore it as new and verify that it works.
How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups
If it does, then restore your backup to either verify it still works and the software just needed reinstalled, or isolate the issue to the backup file itself.

Sign-in to your iTunes Account, you can see which computers are authorised. If necessary de-authorise all and authorise those again that you need.

I am going to Chile and want to charge my iPad while I am there. I bought a dual wattage converter (changes 220V to 110V), but it says to not use with computers. Would this include my iPad?
Somewhat much later query but I do have a related one. I've purchased my iPad 2 in India in October past. Using an adaptor for Canada I seem to have no problems charging it. Now I'm travelling to Chile and I see there is a 'similarity' in the two prongs on the electrical cord which came with the iPad (India) AND a similar pair of dual prongs used in Chile. I note Chile also uses a 3 - prong (horizontal) outlet. Query - Should I have any concern re the different currents used ; Canada 120V - 60 Hz versus Chile 220 - 50 Hz, or as noted earlier the iPad takes care of that with its built in converter. There's no way to delete all message threads at one go. You can however do one contact thread at a time.
In Messages app where you see a list of messages from different contacts, tap Edit (top left), tap the red (on the left), then tap the red Delete button on the right. -
Trying to connect Airport time capsule to my leopard iOS mac. Downloaded software for time capsule for snow leapard/leopard but still says I need more software. What do I need? I have a 10.5.7 iOS (Leopard). It connects to wifi at speeds in the airport and has plenty of storage capacity and memory.
