Photoshop cc - Extensions

I am working on a Mac ver 10.9.3 and PScc.
In Window> Extensions is greyed out and I cannot access it.
How do I access it, please?

Look over the first several pages of this forum.  There have been a LOT of discussions about extensions over the past several days since the release of Photoshop CC (2014).
Example: Photoshop (2014) Extensions greyed out, extension manager not recognizing photoshop 2014

  • A Beginners Guide to creating Photoshop HTML Extensions with Jquery-UI.

Like alot of you here, I've been struggling to learn how to create these new HTML extensions.    I thought I'd take the time to make a tutorial of what I've discovered.  I've posted it here:
    adobescripting.com/MAIN_wp/creating-photoshop-html5-extensions/
I'm experienced with ExtendScript, but very rusty with HTML and web development.  So this is what I discovered while trying to take that "Create HTML5 Extension In 5 Minutes" tutorial to the next level.    Please let me know if any of the steps need more clarification, or the language is confusing.
A small payback for all the great help I've gotten from others on forums like this. THANYOU!  I hope this tutorial is usefull to those of you just beginning.
(if you're an experienced web developer, then ..I apologize in advance...  I'm learning as I go. )

    Very good tutorial!
    Much appreciated.
I wish I had read your tutorial more carefully the first time two days ago, then I would have save myself hours and hours.
It's all there. Communication between panel and jsx, html, the works
You even tuch the subject about the strange $._ext_PHXS function. A global variable without declaration is accesible through evalScript, I would never had figured that out.  ext_radioButtonInfo = radioButtonInfo; function radioButtonInfo(inRadio)
    Thanks once again!

  • How to open "Bridge" in Adobe Photoshop cs5 Extension

    Hi Everyone,
I am creating a photoshop cs5 extension application using as3.
I would like to know about the way to open the adobe bridge inside the photoshop using as3/extend script.
    The reason i need is,
    1) The extension need to open the bridge to select list of images
    2) Selected images needs to available in the photoshop.
Please, help me to open the adobe bridge inside the photoshop and tell me the way to get selected images inside the bridge.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Karthick

The API reference for the Communication Toolkit is shipped with Extension Builder - you can view the docs by selecting "Help > Help Contents" from the menu bar, then selecting "Adobe Creative Suite Extension Builder > References > CS Communication Toolkit API Reference".
There are also some sample extensions that show you how to use the CS Communication Toolkit (codenamed Vulcan). You can import these by selecting "File > Import ... > Adobe Creative Suite Extension Builder > Remote Creative Suite SDK Examples". The most relevant sample is probably "Vulcan - ApplicationControl" which shows how to see the installed/running applications, and how to launch an application.
I personally would recommend using the CS Communication Toolkit from AS3 rather than trying to use BridgeTalk. I've had issues using BridgeTalk from an extension in the past.
    Hope that helps,

  • Invalid signature when trying to install Photoshop CC extension using the Adobe Extension Manager CC and default installed Photoshop CC extensions won't load

I have a Creative Cloud subscription for Photoshop CC. All Creative Clouds products are updated to the latest versions. When I tried to install Tony Kuyper's TKActionv3 Photoshop extension using the Adobe Extension Manager CC on my PC desktop, I received an error message that the extension contained an invalid signature and wouldn't be installed. I had previously installed the extension on my laptop without any problems. At the same time, I also noticed the default installed Photoshop CC extensions (e.g., Adobe Exchange, Kuler, Mini Bridge, Behance) could not be loaded using the Windows/Extension command. I receive an error message that the command could not be completed because the extension could not be loaded. After contacting Tony Kuyper, he suggested that I try the steps mentioned in the following weblink: https://forums.adobe.com/message/6029768. The steps basically consist of uninstalling and reinstalling all the Creative Cloud apps associated with Photoshop CC. I tried the steps multiple times, but I am still having the same problems. I can find the default installed Photoshop CC extensions on my machine, so I don't know why they can't be loaded.
    Thanks for your assistance,
    Mark Curtis

    Hi Mark
You say everything is up to date?  And you have tried reinstalling all the CC apps?  Is Windows also fully up to date?  Hmmm...  That could be tricky.
What version of Windows are you using?  Have a look in Task Manager > Processes and see if 'CEPServiceManager.exe *32' is listed as running?
If not, I don't know where it would be installed from, and we'd need someone like Chris Cox to join the thread to tell us, but my guess is that it would install along with the CC Desktop Application Manager.  Windows 8.1 can be problematic, and a bit fussy about the order of things, and it is definitely worth adopting best practice when installing your CC apps.  That means restarting your computer, and right clicking the Desktop Application manager and running as Administrator.
How many CC apps are you running?  If just Photoshop, Bridge, Expansion manager etc. then - and I hate to say this - perhaps have another go at reinstalling, but run the Cleaning tool after uninstalling.
Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
Try some other Extensions before the Tony Kuyper's TKActionv3.  GuideGuide is a favourite of mine, as well as Dmonzon tools, and maybe Russell Brown's Flypaper Textures.
I have to say that I have had problems with the CC Extension Manager a while back, but simply reinstalling just the Extension Manager fixed it.  Perhaps CEPServiceManager.exe *32 installs with Extension Manager?  Heck, maybe start with just trying that before reinstalling all your CC apps.
If you are still stuck, I'd risk sending Chris Cox a PM, but not until you triple check that your video card driver is up to date from the card maker's website.
Good luck, and be sure to let us know how you get on.

I posted this question in the Extension Manager group. Should I also post it in the Adobe Photoshop group?

    Zhihong,
I received your e-mail with the questions below. I answered some of your questions: answers in red and underlined. In addition to posting in the forum, I also replied to your e-mail address, but the message was returned as undeliverable. What e-mail address should I use for sending you the log files.
    Thanks,
    Mark
    Hi Mark,
Here is a workaround to make the extension display again:
You can bypass the check for extension signature by editing the CSXS preference properties file, located at:
    • Win: regedit > HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Adobe/CSXS.5
    • Mac: /Users/<username>/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.CSXS.5.plist
Add a new entry “PlayerDebugMode” of type "string" with the value of "1". And then restart Photoshop and try again. Please let us know if this work around can work.
And could you please help to offer following information for us to find the root cause? Thanks:
    1. Which PS version are you using? On what platform, Windows or Mac OS? Photoshop CC (64-Bit) 14.2.1 x64, Windows 7 Ultimate (64-Bit)
    2. The extension cannot be loaded since when? 5/25/2014
    3. What is the version of imslib.dll/.framework and PlugPlugOwl.dll/.framework? It locates at path like “C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC (64 Bit)”. 7.0.0.145, 4.2.0.36
    4. Can you get the CSXS log and send it to us? Please add a “LogLevel” key with value “6” in registry (PS should be restarted for the log level change to take effect):
    • Win: regedit > HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Adobe/CSXS.5
    • Mac: /Users/USERNAME/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.CSXS.5.plist
Then restart PS and the log file will be generated at:
    • Win: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp\csxs5-PHSP.log
    • Mac: /Users/USERNAME/Library/Logs/CSXS/csxs5-PHSP.log
    Thanks!

  • Photoshop CC Extensions menu is not selectable

Photoshop CC Extensions menu is greyed out. I cannot select event that menu.
The extensions installed successfully in Extension Manager CC, no errors. I even tried uninstalling and trying just 1... no dice. I've reinstalled Extension Manager CC without success as well.
A few of those extensions are scripts and those are available through the File > Scripts just fine, but the Extensions are not. I have no issue at home using them, but here on my work computer I cannot access them at all.
In Photoshop CC, I cannot even click on the Extensions menu, not even the Exchange is available which is built in:
I uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop CC and reinstalled the plugins and I still have the same issue. No error messages, it's just not selectable.
    Any ideas?

I am on a Mac, but am having the same issue, my extensions is greyed out.
Also when I open Extensions Manager CC, I get the application launched, but I get no interface, so I can't even see the extensions. I know I just installed onOne Perfect Suite, so it should be showing up.

  • Why photoshop cc extensions menu is not selectable ?

why photoshop cc extensions menu is notselectable

It's a bloody disaster. I had a whole way of doing things resolved using a series of plugins and none of them are now available. I've been through every thread on here (and elsewhere) and the bottom line is that the whole thing is screwed.
I even spent hours following a process from an option under Help > Manage Extensions. Do yourself a favour, don't bother. It doesn't work, it just opens up the Extensions manager and no matter what you do, you cannot access the extensions at all.
    Thanks Adobe!

  • Photoshop CS6 Extension Manager Upgrade

Tried to install the upgrade for Photoshop  CS6 Extension Manager and keeping the same Error Message: U44M1P7. What does this mean?

It means that the updater is having a bad day . Run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool, reinstall all your apps, then try to update again. These issues occur due to some updates locking stuff or flagging the pertinent entries in teh various databses and config files wrongly.

  • Photoshop CC2014 Extension Managerが認識しない

    こんにちは。
    Adobe Extension Manager CC

  • In need of a Software Developer for a Photoshop Plugin / Extension

I'm in need of a software developer that can create a plug-in or extension panel for Photoshop, according to my instruction.
Is there a list of developers available from Adobe?
Are you a software developer that can help?  Please let me know.

Number one - that person has given you false information...the Apple store genius bar supports all Apple products whether in or out of warranty.  Checking is free, service on an out of warranty item is not free.
Try a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, ignore the red slider if that appears.
Since you show that you have iOS 7.0.3 you might want to update that iOS to 7.0.4...plug the iPhone in so you are on a solid power source, then while on a WiFi go to Settings > General > Software Update and update to 7.0.4.

  • Photoshop CS6 Extensions Will Not Load

I'm running PS CS6 Extended. Any item I select via Window>Extensions (e.g. Mini-Bridge, Adobe Exchange, etc.) results in a dialog box stating, "Cannot complete command because the extension could not be loaded."
Similarly, selecting File>Browse in Mini Bridge... yields the same dialog box.
Perhaps related to this is selecting File>Browse in Bridge which yields a dialog box stating, "Could not complete the Browse in Bridge command because Photoshop was unable to find the JavaScript plug-in."
I'm guessing that a necessary file and/or plug-in was corrupted or deleted, but this is beyond my knowledge level.
    Any suggestions?  Thanks.

    You might try re-installing..

  • Photoshop CS6 Extension Panel

I am a Creative Cloud member.  After installing the last update, my extension panel is not showing the icons associated for some of my extensions.  For example:  I have Russell Brown's extensions: - Adobe Edit in ACR and Flypaper Pro, which is supposed to show a colored icon with the letters ACR and the other a colored icon with a picture of a fly.  Now for these extensions, it shows a pictures of LEGOs - I guess that's Adobe's icon for a plug-in.  All of these extensions are showing in: Window>Extensions.  What's going on?
This is what I see in my extension panel:
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

I have seem to fix the problem, I uninstalled Photoshop and all of Creative Cloud - including Application Manager.
I download and reinstalled Application Manager, then reinstalled Photoshop and all my extensions seem to be working again.
I was getting some errors in Application Manager when I tried installed After Effects, so I decided to reinstall everything and seems to have done the trick... have you tried this @princess0333?

  • Photoshop CC Extension disabled/not working

I downloaded/paid for Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 Release. Everything is working perfectly fine expect for the Adobe Extension/Exchange Panel is greyed out and not working. I tried many things, I tried to install the adobe exchange panel CC in extension manger and got a few error codes such as "Error 180 - Not going to be able to install this." or this Extension needs illustrator64 something to that effect...So I am at a complete lost to why this isn't working. Can someone help me please? Thank you!
Here is a snapshot of what is happening....
See the Extensions is disabled, why? I have my files synced and everything. I tried literately everything and Got nothing! Help please!

In CC 2014 Adobe removed Flash Panel support.  So there is no longer a Mini Bridge or Adobe exchange extensions because these extension used Flasg panels.  There is a version of Adobe Kuler you can download and install into Adobe Photoshop CC 2014.  However if you just update the  Photoshop CC 2014 there are no extension installed by default so in menu Windows the menu item extensions is grayed out for there are no extensions installed. You can use menu Help>Browse Add=Ons... to find and install extensions like Adobe Kuler for CC 2014.
