Php services running on an application server

Running the test application concerning php services on my local xamp installation just works fine.
But unfortunately I am not smart enough to test it on my ISP application server!
Is there a way to test a remote server. So far I haven't seen any tutorial covering this issue ...
Any help would be highly welcome.

The export release workflow is under development. Till then you can try the following manual steps to move your application to a production server:
1. Your current local webroot would have a folder called ZendFramework, zip it and upload it to your server. Unzip the framework in your web root. One point though, installing the framework in webroot is not the recommended by Zend, so if you are able to manage some other install location then that would be the best way to install ZF. If ZF is installed in a location other than webroot, then you would have to update the amf_config.ini file which will arrive at your server in the subsequent steps.
2. find/replace all the endpoint URLs in the MXML files from http://localhost:8080/ProjectName-debug/gateway.php to /<sitename>/gateway.php
3. export release build of the project
4. ensure that the gateway.php and amf_config.ini have been copied into the bin-release folder.
5. zip the bin-release folder contents into <sitename>.zip
6. upload sitename.zip and unzip its contents in /wwwroot/<sitename>/

I assume that the problem is the java library path, which is pointing to directories related to my OBIEE installation, instead of a java environment somewhere in the hyperion install. If that's right, how do I change this?

How to run reports in Application Server 10g?

I am running my forms on Application Server 10g. How do I launch reports from my Forms on the 10g application server? My friend told to use web.show_document(http://serverip:port/reports/rwservlets/getjobid - what should it be after that). Also I'm not aware of the complete code. Hi,
According to WAS 6 , every opened connection has to be commited (or rolledback) explicitly (didnt try autocommit) before closing. Even if all you have done with that connection is a SELECT Query.
This has apparently solved the same problem I was getting. implement it and see whether it helps you.

I am installing forms and reports services standalone on CentOS 5.Well, CentOS is not certified by Oracle, but it's a Red Hat clone, so you shouldn't have problems.
Nevertheless I have to say that I've never used it for Application Server (I normally use Oracle Linux).

Coldfusion 7.0 ear package running on websphere application server 6.1

I try to run a coldfusion ear package on a webspehere 6.1
application server. It all seems to install correct but when I try
to open the specific url I get this error:
Error 500: The Security service is not available.
Does anyone know what is to be done here to get this ear file
working.
This ear file contains the complete coldfusion module as it
seems and just a small simple script for testing reasons but it
won't work.

Business Objects XI 3.1 SP2 FP2.7
Websphere Application Server 6.1 on Windows, have run environments with fix pack 19, fix pack 23, and fix pack 33 without Websphere related problems. The list for supported Websphere platforms for Windows is the same as AIX.
Now having said that, I would suspect that SAP does not test Business Objects with each of the available Websphere fix packs.

Web Services Requirements on Oracle Application Server 10g

Is there any special requirements for deploying Web Services to Oracle Application Server 10g? I can deploy a Hello World Web Service to Oracle 9i 9.0.3 (OC4J + Web Cache) without UDDI but if I try to deploy to Oracle Application Server 10g (OC4J + Web Cache) it does not recognize it as a Web Service? Is UDDI now required for Web Services on 10g?

No. Not only it isn't certified, but it is also impossible to run forms compiled with the 11g compiler with the 10g runtime. For 11g there is a install bundle for the developer suite / application server.

pl be aware of the fact that SAP system is running on the Remote Machine. I have ITS Installes with a Instance name I62 on my mchine. i installed the Wgate part on my machine (i.e. dual host) not the Agate as SAP system is running on the remote host.
Now I want to use IACOR Admin Tool. the service is already running and there are no entry in the connection of the IACOR Admin, so i want to create a new one.
on pressing new button. i entered the ITS instance name I62 (which i prepared as Wgate part) and the Web server (hosting Wgate).
my confusion is that what should i fill up in these values.................

R/3 Name=
Group?
Message Server=
I know the Name of Application server i.e. I62production, System ID i.e. I62, System Number i.e. 09
the question is from where i should extract the value of R/3 Name??? and Message Server of the SAP system running on the Remote Host.

How to integrate Oracle Portal running on Oracle Application Server 10.1.2

I have an Oracle Portal running on a Oracle Application Server 10.1.2.
Portal is responsible ( along with OID ) for the users authentication and authorization.
There is a new JEE application that was developed recently, which the Portal users must have access to.
HOW can I put a link into a page of the Portal, that redirects the portal user to a new browser window displaying my new application?
HOW can this new application, running in a separate weblogic 11g (10.3.5) server, automatically authenticate with the same username/password previously authenticated when the user logged into the portal?
Any ideas?
I´ve already thought in a bunch of ways to do it:
- put a link into the portal with a sessionId, then when opening the new app, it automatically tries to use the same session. How can I configure this session id during the creation of the portal's page? How can I use it from the new app to use the same session?
- put a link into the portal with a userid, then when opening the new app, it automatically tries to authenticate using a different authentication provider configurated in WL, which points to Portal´s OID. In this situation, how can I ensure that the user is already logged in and the session has not timed out?
- Should I use OSSO?
- Should I use OAM?
Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Murilo,
A portletized version of your J2EE app would probably have been ideal for your purpose as it would handle both authentication (through SSO) and session information (through Portal framework as the framework can pass session information to the provider/producer). This would require changes to the application however.
Easiest approach would be to use mod_osso to protect your J2EE application. SSO would then handle the authentication for your Portal and your J2EE application.

I am new to Siebel and Self Service. I just want to know If I can deploy Sieble Self Service Application on JBoss or on any other OpenSource Application Server. My client do want not to buy Oracle Application Server. Any help on this would be higly appriciated.
I have another question: How can I develop my own portlet and integrate into Siebel Self Service. Do we have any APIs or specification or any information so that I can start wrting my portlets for Siebel Self Service.

As far as supported platform is asked, you shoud refer to the latest version of the Siebel System Requirements and Supported Platforms for Self-Service Applications aka SRSP .Here is the section http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11886_01/V8/CORE/SRSP_811_SSA/SRSP_81_Supported_Plats7.html#wp1018023 and the only supported platform seems Oracle Application Server 10.1.3.3.
Not sure if the server is not part of the overall licence package, worth checking with your Sales Rep.

Problem running "owsctl" (Oracle application server)

Hello everybody,
I installed Oracle Application Server v. 4.0.8.2 for Sparc Solaris, it seems that all worked right (no error messages on logs files), but to complete the installation is necessary run the command "owsctl start -nodemgr", it4s to start up the web server manager, but it fails, when I run this command I get the next message:
"ld.so.1: oraweb: fatal error: libCrun.so.1: file or directory not found"
I don4t know it is a problem with the Operating System, C libraries or something like that..
If you know some solution for this problem let me know it ..I'll apreciate it.

Why is the service of Sun ONE Application server 8.0 stopped?

When some clients about 10 above post the data to the server in the same time,the service can be stopped. The error that is "[Microsoft][SQLServer 2000 Driver for JDBC]Error establishing socket" is displayed in the server.log.

i dont understand your question. however there are multiple points of failure,
your jdbc driver, the size of your connection pool, the config of your SQL Server might need to increase the number of connections.
