PHP Template CSS not showing up in html site

I'm making a website for a school assignment, but after making my template, and attempting to make a site out of it, the CSS for my drop down menu didn't apply.
I can see that it's there (Saying DDMenu.css in the css bar) but it's just one line, with no possible extentions or anything beneath.

any tips?

1. Have you defined a site in DW?
2. Are you working within this defined site?
3. Is the link in the template to the CSS file correct FROM THE TEMPLATE FILE?
4. Why are you using APdivs (the worst possible way to build a page)?
The image you are showing for the index site means that the link to the CSS file in that page is incorrect (i.e., the link is there but the path is wrong).

How to not show pages in the Site Map

This is probably the easiest question of them all... but...
How do you not show pages in the site map?
It seems that by default, all pages are added to the sitemap.
Is it a case of unchecking "enabled" and checking "exclude from search results" under "More Options" on the page itself?
Or another way?

Hi David,
The "exclude from search result" will remove from the sitemap.xml "yoursite.com/sitemap.xml" and from major search engines from being picked up. If you tick this option please allow for a few hours to have the xml to reflect the changes.
"If you select this option then this web page will be excluded from the site search feature built into this system as well as from the sitemap.xml file submitted to the major search engines such as Google, Yahoo and Live."
The sitemap module found under site settings is not related to the xml file so you'll need to manually remove and insert onto your page if using this feature.

Hi all,
I have a template based page with one flash animation.
When I preview my template page the flash is working fine,
but in my pages
bases on the template I don't see my flash animation.
Do I miss something?

Web Service in Document Template Designer not showing

Hi,
I'm trying to create a new document template but the dropdown list is not showing any results even though we have web services that are active and productive.
If I enter the name manually I am getting a "Please enter a valid Service definition name" error message.
Has anybody seen this issue before?

I was also getting same error once...However i was able to see my web service definition in F4. Selecting from F4 list was working fine but if i entered the name mannually, i was getting the same message as you got...may be its a Bug..
Just to assist you, Have to activated the webservice from SICF before going for deployment using template or Adobe ?
Just check if you have maintained the webservice in SICF.

Image not showing up in HTML page

I am running tomcat and in WEB-INF I have a simple HTML page that has is trying to show an image, but it doesn't show up.
Under WEB-INF I have:
mypage.html
images/logo.png
<html>
<head>
<link REL="SHORTCUT ICON" HREF="images/logo.png">
</head>
<body>
<img src="images/logo.png">Hello World!
</body>
</html>The image does not show up when I try and view it from tomcat (i.e. http://localhost:8080/mypage.html)
But it does show up if I just open up the HTML file with IE or Firefox.
Any ideas what I am missing?

The page is invoked via a Servlet Filter. So I have mapped in my web.xml:

In my servlet filter I have something like:

response.sendError(HttpServletResponse.SC_UNAUTHORIZED);..i have to check tomorrow when i am with the server again to see what the direct URL is to the image. Theoretically I'd assume:

have to double check though

Motion 5 Template Publishing Not Showing Up in FCPX

I did a clean install of Lion 10.7.1 and a clean install of FCPX and Motion 5. For some reason, when I publish a template/generator/effect from Motion 5, it does not show up FCPX unless I restart FCPX. When I first started using both Motion 5 and FCPX, as soon as I switched back to FCPX, the published template was there.
I've repaired permissions, restarted the computer, etc. Why won't this work any more? Any ideas?

Mark Spencer answered this for me on another forum. This is a known Lion bug. Doesn't happen in Snow Leopard. Just an inconvenience, but hope it's fixed soon.

Why are my css not showing up on my website???

I am new to Dreamweaver cs6 and using it for a school research project. I have made some css and know how to make them but for some reason they are not showing up when I load my website online. Please help!! Also I am not sure how to create links in my pages to connect to other pages on my site.

Well it had to get put on the server somehow otherwise your URL would not have worked. How did you save/move the file so that it would be visible to us? Do that for the CSS. If you need to set this up, first ask your teacher because they should be able to help you put the files to the server. This requires login credentials which no one here would have. You can reference David's tutorial for where to go to set this up:

Classic Report with Hide and Show Region Template does not show report

I created a "No Template" region on a page with a Classic Report. When I change it to a "Hide and Show" region template, the report does not show up when I click to Show the region...is there an additional step i'm missing to make the report show up. Its a very simple query.

The templates are not showing up after I select them???

the templates on pages are not showing up after I select them....unless I highlight the entire page and select a particular colour. That leaves all the colours in the photo off. Any help would be so very helpful.

CeraG - It will help to answer if you supply your system version, pages version and if you lately have done anything to the computer (installing, uninstalling etc)
I think you have forgotten to do a Software update or it could also be a font problem but more info from you is needed!

Web Template is not showing the changes done

I have done few changes in my web template like navigation pane has been added and the filter pane is removed from the template but still its showing the same filter pane, no error is being reported and for this i have closed the web application designer and again opened it but still no change what could be the issue.

Is there any error message(s) while closing / re-opening the template?
I am not sure about the configurations on your systems. In our environment, calling a template requires a connection to EP. While BI is having a communication problem with EP server, changes we made on template is not reflected.

Why do views not show up in HTML DB?

When I create a new view with SQL/Plus why doesn't it show up in HTML DB? Views that were created previously (before install of HTML DB) are visable.

Just FYI, I had a problem with views not showing up when using the wizards. Reported the problem and was told it was a bug. Workaround was to create my pages from scratch and explicitly reference the tables instead of the views.
Although HTML DB could handle some views, views that were based upon other views or where there were several layers of views seem to give HTML DB a problem.

Xml menu not showing in published html

Hi all my problem is that when iam trying to publish an flash
project containing a dynamic xml menu as html file ,the menu is not
showing although it is showing in the accompannying swf file,any
body knows the problem??

There is not enough here to know what you are doing.
Flash reads XML fine. You can then use that XML inside of
Flash to create menus (or any UI thing) using Flash objects such as
MovieClips and TextFields.
You will not be able to create HTML based menus as Flash does
not handle more than a few HTML tags via the TextField object.

I am in the print mode but the dimensions I select in the size template do not show up on either the cell size or the photo, i.e. select 4x6 template lR gives me 3.5x4 8x10 gives me 5.19x3,50 I have to use 8x10 template in order to get 3.5x5.194

The sizes on the print template do not relate to the size I get in the cell size or on the photo. Template 8x10 gives me 3.5 x5.194 which is on the cell size can't make it any larger. 4X6 template gives me 3.5x4 which is the same as the cell size. My printer is a new epson 3000 which is set to print 4x6 but LR does not give the 4x6 dimension to the printer just the aforementioned sizes!!!! I have tried everything to get it to print properly to no avail. The photo system that came with the computer an iMac 27" pro 2013 with yosemite as the os.works fine with he printer! You just cannot do much other than print with it

I've downloaded itunes on my computer, but the iTunes store does not show up and HTML and the links do not work?

I've successfully downloaded iTunes to my PC. Every function appears to work, however when accessing iTunes store it does not come up in HTML format and when I click a link it times out.

Try publishing to a local folder and double clicking the index.html file to launch your site in the browser direct from your hard disk to see if the map works.
Where are you publishing to - MobileMe or another server?
