Pinch zoom not working w Firefox 7.0.1 on 2011 Macbook Pro, Lion 10.7.1, 2.3 Ghz i7

Just got a brand new Macbook Pro, downloaded Firefox 7.0.1, pinch zoom feature does not work on any web pages. Please let me know how I can fix this.

HOW FUNNY! I must have had a response from the same MUPPET as you who said it's not supported!!! I'd sent them the solution, as their product runs with realtek drivers, and they have a driver which supports mac 10.7!!
I can confirm it works. It's a realtek driver with details here:

Scroll down and here you'll see support for MAC OSX 10.7 Install Package(UI ver.1.9.7) and you can select a download site.You can actually now download it, as before I couldn't.
When I tried I couldn't, so I found the driver at another location :-

Downloaded it and once installed, the USB-N10 worked!
I do have the odd connection issue with it when it cant' get an IP address from the DHCP server on my wireless router. Even if I had code the IP. However, 95% of the time it's ok.

Pinch zoom not working in firefox

Both pinch to zoom and double tap to zoom work fine for me so long as I am viewing web pages in Safari. But I can't seem to use those gestures in Firefox. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a way to make thse gestures work in FF or are they incompatible there?

All these programs seem to be for windows. I am facing the issues with firefox on a macbook pro.
I wasn't suggesting resetting Firefox. I have already done this step a couple of days ago as I was facing connectivity issues with some websites completely freezing and not loading. reset didn't help. I started seeing the trackpad issue around the time i did the reset.
I am wondering if uninstalling Firefox and deleting all data associated with it (profiles etc) would fix the issue. Can you advise on what should be deleted with firefox?

LinkedIn's "new" profile feature is not working in Firefox 17.0.1 on a MacBook Pro. Need help resolving.

LinkedIn worked fine on Firefox 17.0.1 until my profile was upgraded to their "new" version. Now I can log on to the LinkedIn home page, but when I go to my profile page it is blank.
I don't have this problem when using Safari 5.1.7.
I've contacted LinkedIn as well and am waiting for their response.

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.

To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.

#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.

When i try to do a Pinchzoom in Yahoo mail the pinch zoom functionality is not working but it works with Facebook... do i need to change some setting in the phone to enable this ?
checked with other phone devices pinch zoom doesnt work in great apple iphones

Mini DisplayPort to VGA isn't working. It won't recognize any external monitor. It worked just fine with my older spring 2011 MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard, but now with my brand new 2012 MacBook Pro running Mountain Lion, it no longer works

I just bought a new MacBook Pro this summer and was all excited. But I'm very frustrated right now because I can't connect to any external monitors through VGA. My thunderbolt (DisplayPort Mini) to HDMI works just fine, but when I try with my other connector to go from Thunderbolt (DisplayPort Mini) to VGA, Nothing works. my screen goes blue and changes size like it recognized something but nothing is ever detected on the external moniter or projector. I'm not sure what is wrong but it's very frustrating. I'm just very depressed that it worked just fine with my 2-year-old MacBook Pro but isn't working now. I'm running OS X 10.8.2. I just upgraded yesterday from 10.8.1 but that upgrade did nothing to fix my problem. Can anyone help? Thanks

I am haveing this exact same issue. I have plugging in 3 monitors and tried two different VGA to mini displayport and nothing is working. I recently bought a Acer monitor and it work for an hour and now it back to doing the same thing.
When I plug the VGA adapter in to the monitor the monitor think its not connected to a computer then when disconnecting the VGA adapter the monitor thinks it is connected to a computer.
NEED SOME HELP!!! at the point of all my hair is pulled out.

Two-finger pinch zoom not working with safari

Suddenly, the two-finger pinch to zoom is not working with Safari. MBP 13", SL 10.6.8 andf Safari 5.1. The View Menu Zoom control works fine, and the Pinch gesture works once thereafter, but then not. I have reloaded the Safari .plist. Gesture works with the Desktop icons and iPhoto. Any suggestions?

Ditto with the Newsstand-blocks-the-Home-Screen bug.
I was eager to see the revised New York Times layout and disappointed when Newsstand wouldn't pinch closed.
The irony is, we can finally "hide" the Newsstand in a folder but now it takes over our Home Screens. I'm hoping this will be fixed in the first update.

Pinch zoom not working

pinch zoom function on safari browser on text on pictures no longer working

Really old question... I have where the issue come and go. The pinch to zoom or shrink will work and then it stops working, either I need to reboot or just wait for it to come back.
But now, if it happens I switch to another account/user (I've setup a 2nd account that clean) through fast user switching and launch Safari. I go to any of the default sites and test, if pinch to zoom works, I continue to surf to a few sites using the pinch to zoom each time. After a little bit I log out and log back into my main account and it works again.
No restart required (I generally have 20-30 apps open so restarting is a pain).

Symbian Anna - Pinch zoom not working!

It seems I can only pinch zoom some sites but not others. For example I can't increase the font size or zoom into yahoo.com, but I could before the Anna update.
Is there a way to fix this, or is this permanent?
And still no automatic resizing on zoomable sites either!

Man if not being able to zoom a mobile optimized site ruins your phone for you , you need to get another phone !! If you're that desperate, use Opera !!

ITunes not working since installing 11.3(54) on a Macbook Pro.

Since installing iTunes 11.3 (54) on my Macbook Pro iTunes will now work. No music, radio, movies, etc. Nothing plays. Has anyone had a similar issue and found a fix? I downloaded iTunes and installed again but it did not resolve the issue.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select

Reminders not working on iPhone and iPad, but are on MacBook Pro

My reminders on my MacBook Pro are showing up 24 hours in advance of the set time for that reminder, but they are not showing up on my iPad 3 and iPhone 5. I have to power the iPad and iPhone off for the reminders to show up in the notification center. Does anyone know what's going on or how to fix this?

Adobe Updater not working and/or removing the Icon from a MacBook Pro?

I purchased CS5 -Design standard for my MacBook Pro a few years ago and have never had a problem until recently. I put a new hard drive into my laptop and reinstalled everything. CS5 programs run fine when I'm using them. Now all of a sudden, I'm getting an icon on my top MAC menu bar from Adobe Updater saying I need to update all of my programs. It will not go away. I follow all the steps, it completes the download then says there are errors and the downloads cannot be completed, to close and try again. I've done this 5 times over 2 weeks with no luck. If there are updates I'd really like to install them or just shut the updater down so that I can't see the icon on my menu bar.
It does not give me an option to enter serial numbers from the CS5 I purchased or to just close the thing and move on with my life. What do I do? All this is running on a MacBook Pro, CS5-Design standard.

Now all of the updates are errors downloading- with no options but to close and try again.

Photoshop-not supported on this type of Mac-Late 2011 MacBook Pro

Photoshop refuses to open on my computer, a late 2011 model MacBook Pro. This particular computer is running OSX 10.8.3, has a 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7 processor, and 8 GB of RAM.
When I try to open it, I receieve a "not supported on this type of Mac" error. What's going on here? Creative Cloud is basically useless if it won't work such a recent computer.

Pinch & Zoom Not Working V26 Android

Hello,
I am currently building a folio and hoping to take advantage of the new pdf support in V26 (for Android tablets). I've updated the tools, the folio builder and the Adobe Content Viewer to V26. I successfully uploaded three articles with pdf format selected. The first article works great (I can pinch and zoom). The second and third articles however do not pinch and zoom. I've double checked my settings and even reloaded these two articles and they still don't work. Am I doing something wrong?

Not really an option for me because I'm working on a 1200 page product guide. Some articles are over 200 pages.
Seems like it some sort of a glitch because I can't understand why there's the option of horizontal and/or verticle swipe only but then you can't pinch and zoom in only those formats...kind of a bummer. I upgraded to V26 just to utilize this feature (deleting my already started V25 product guide). I hope they can address it soon before we're ready to launch in a couple of weeks.

HTML5 Captivate Android Mobile Chrome Dolphin Pinch & Zoom Not Working

Cannot pinch or zoom on an HTML5 project published as scalable (I know that is for aspect ratio and not pinch and zoom). Cp7 up-to-date. Android 4.3 Used Chrome browser on the phone. Tried Dolhin browser on the phone. No pinch. No zoom.
Any help is apprecaited.

The only way to create a responsive project is to start from scratch. I don't want to do that because I have many projects that I would like to update and that would take weeks. If mobile gestures were only for responsive projects, I would think the option would not be available on other projects?
