Let me see if I've gotten this right! You want to remove an account from BOTH machines? Do this for your new machine first, then for the other.
Click the Apple logo on the top left of the screen, System Preferences, Users and Groups (under Systems), unlock the lock in the window if its locked (you need to know the password), select the user that you wish to remove, and click the - sign next to the + sign for Login options. A window will pop up with some options. Select Delete this user and securely, and click 'Delete user'.
After this, do an update from the App Store.
Thats all there is to it.
For the other machine repeat the process except for one thing. Before you delete the user in this case YOU, you will have to give Administrator priviledges to your son bu checking the box 'Allow user to administer this computer'.
Do NOT do anything from Finder ... if you dont know how to fix the consequences of the problems caused.
There is no need to unauthorize your iTunes account on your new machine. Do it on the old machine though.

Exactly my point. With all the "training" and "introduction" and promotional
hoopla on the CC platform, I couldn't even find a way to LAUNCH photoshop.
I eventually simply downloaded Photoshop Elements. Problem solved.

We deployed Acrobat XI Standard on a closed domain (not connnected to the internet) and make it available to our customers as an App-V. When our customers run it, they are gettiing "Activation Required, Please connect ot the internet." Another thing they are getting is "Please connect to the Internet and retry". Is there a setting we can make to preclude this from happening?

If you have emmptied the iPhoto trash then you're going to need a file recovery application like File Salvage

How did you get the contacts loaded onto the iPhone in the first place?
If you used iTunes that would imply the "source" of contacts was either on your computer (e.g. Outlook) or perhaps through a one-time upload from an e-mail service like GMail. In either case, your contacts should (might) still be where they were when you originally put them onto your iPhone.
If all your contacts were manually entered into the iPhone, then you're out of luck since they are not backed up, unless you set iCloud up to sync your contacts (in which case they'd still be in iCloud).

Cannot register my photoshops starter edition

I have downloaded Photoshop 3.2 for uplading my camera photos but when i try to register it it doesn't send me an email with the code to put in the box. Can anyone help with this please as I've been on chat and they can't help. If they can't help can't see how anyone else can really, but this is where I have bee told to go.

What do I need to do after the initial "download" of adobe 10 trial? I don't find an icon to open the photoshop, all I find are files with information that I don't know what to do with. Help, I really was looking forward to trying Adobe out, but this is not very encouraging.

You need to install it first of course. Run the *.exe file for the extractor, then follow the steps through the setup.

I have deleted all my photos and videos from my camera role and all my photos are there and they are safe but my videos they are there but they dont play. it only shows a picture of it there is no way of playing them ... have i lost the videos then?

someone please help i went to a concert and took tones of videos and pics but then when i got home my camera role was full so i looked on icloud and saw that everything has been saved on there so i didnt worry about deleteing all of my videos and photos but then when i did that ( always the way it goes ya dont reolize until its to late :@ ) all my videos wont play they have almost just turned into photos. you see the start image like on camera role thing but you cant click on it to play the video

Welcome to the Apple Community Diane.
I find that shared video can be troublesome, a few haven't appeared to work as you describe but have done when I've looked at a later date. Hopefully they will work if you give them a bit longer. perhaps it would be a good idea if you make sure they are working before deleting them from the camera roll.

this seems like it might work for me. i just want to make sure i am doing things right. so, forgive me for my ignorance but i need to know what the difference is between the two backups. my iphone 5 was backed up today via itunes. i also have two older backups under my icloud account. i need to reset my iphone and erase all current content so i can restore info from one of the backups under my icloud
account in hopes of finding some lost pictures. once i do that i would like my phone to return to the current state it is in restoring the backup i did today via itunes.

Start here: MacOS, as a Unix based system, follow the concept of 'users' and 'permissions' (not legally, technical terms). Unlike a TV or car, you can not simply switch-on device - you have to permit before 'enter'.
A Mac is able to handle dozens of diff. users - but each user has diff. and own permissions. and only each user (or the 'super user', the admin) can change 'his/her' permissions, to files, to folders, to programs, to whole system.
so, if the ex-owner doesn't set YOU as the new admin on this Mac, only solution - and btw best practice - is to format the whole drive and re-install OS and programs from original installer disks.

How do I Restore from iCloud on new iPad that hasn't been upgraded to IOS 7.0.3. New iPad is at 6.1.3. And all my backups are iOS 6.1.3.

You cannot Restore an iOS 7 Backup on to a Device running iOS 6...
Update your Device to iOS 7 and then Restore from Backup.

unloading Final cut pro X and I install it, soon unloading motion 5 and I install it, when starting final cut pro X everything goes well but motion 5 is disappointed and it is closed unexpectedly

Run Disk Repair to "repair" all hard drives on the system.
Be sure you have at least 8GB RAM realistically.
Be sure your grahics card is compatable.
Digital Rebellion makes a free application called Preference Manager that allows you to trash the application preference files safely and properly, try running that.
