Hi.
I use Netbeans 3.5, I was working fine, when suddenly I got this error
"java.lang.StackOverflowError Exception in thread main", this error happens when I try to run the form, also when I load the form I got this error " java.lang.NullPointer exception" and the netbeans show the code but not the graphical layout of the form.
The form compile well but when I try to run it I got the error, as I said before I hanven;t change anything, what could be wrong here, I need to skip this error soon because of my schedule of work, please help.

Hey, I just download a game and it's java based but when I try to run it run it just opens a cmd and tells me this:
exception in thread "main" java.lang.noclassdeffounderror: client
Caused by: java.lang.noclassdeffounderror: client ...
And some other things ... at the end of every caused problem ther is a (Unknown Source).
At the end it says: Could not find the main class: client. Program will exit.
I know, maybe this isnt the right topic, but please help me !!
And I'm not the best PC programmer but I know the basics :S

Theres a number of ways you can improve your memory usage:
1) Build you map as you read in your file.
2) Use StringBuffers in your map - do not use "asshaj" + "ashaskj" This is very memory intensive
If you still run out of memory try running the JVM using -Xms128m -Xmx512m or higher

I installed the Java 1.4.0 beta on my machine. I configured the JRE and the javac and java commands are responding well. Now I have written very simple classes which are compiling without errors. But now, if I use the java command to run the classes, I am getting the following message:

where ForTick is the name of my class for example. Where am I going wrong? Also, where do I find documentation for error messages like this - I have toured almost the whole java website and even the documentation that I downloaded -but I couldn't find it.

I am having a problem connecting to my MSDE SQL 2000 DB on a WindowsXP pro. environment. I am learning Java and writing a small test prgm to connect the the database. The code compiles ok, but when I try to execute it i keep getting this error:

I am using the Microsoft jdbc driver and my CLASSPATH is setup correctly, I've also noticed that several people have complained about this error, but have not seen any solutions....can someone help ?

I want to say that there was nothing wrong
with my classpath config., I am still not sure why
that didn't work, there is what I did to resolved
this issue.You can say that all you like but if you are getting NoClassDefFound errors, that's because the class associated with the error is not in your classpath.
(For future reference: you will find it easier to solve problems if you assume that the problem is your fault, instead of trying to blame something else. It almost always is your fault -- at least that's been my experience.)
1. I had to set my DB connection protocol to TCP/IP
(this was not the default), this was done by running
the
file "svrnetcn.exe" and then in the SQL Server Network
Utility window, enable TCP/IP and set the port to
1433.Irrelevant to the classpath problem.
2. I then copied all three of the Microsoft JDBC
driver files to the ..\jre\lib\ext dir of my jdk
installed dir.The classpath always includes all jar files in this directory. That's why doing that fixed your problem. My bet is that you didn't have the jar file containing the driver in your classpath before, you just had the directory containing that jar file.
3. Updated my OS path to located these files
and....BINGO! (that simple)Unnecessary for solving classpath problems.
4. Took a crash course on JDBC & basic Java and now I
have created my database, all tables, scripts,
stored procedures and can read/write and do all kinds
of neat stuff.All's well that ends well. After a few months you'll wonder what all the fuss was about.

You have the display set in Extended Desktop mode. The Menu Bar and Dock will be on the MacBook display and your background screen on the monitor. In System Preferences>Display on the MacBook screen there should be an Arrangement tab when you have the MacBook hooked up to the monitor and both screens working. When you click the Arrangement tab do you see two monitors side by side? One of them will have a Menu Bar at the top. Just click on the Menu Bar and drag it to the second monitor. That will make the second monitor your main screen. You can now use your MacBook in Clamshell Mode with a wired or Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3131 When you disconnect from the monitor your Menu Bar will automatically change back to the MacBook.

i downloaded the j2sdk-1_4_2_09-windows-i586-p.exe from www.java.sun.com and installed it at the defaulted path C:\j2sdk1.4.2_09,
then i wrote down my first java program as follow:

after that i opened dos commind window and compiled it :

but when running it (c:\java C:\Javasmp\ch01\hello) there was a mistake:

Hi, I am a 16 year old teen that is about to wait for the right moment to have my dream of starting a youtube channel. Ive done a lot of research comparing how any type of laptop will compare when I record and play my games, because i mostly want to get into gaming youtube channel. Although i might want to do just gaming ive also wanted to do videos of unboxing and music covers. My friend that knows a lot about computers told me that i should get a mac if i want to do mainly editing, or if i want to just game and record i should buy a pc laptop. He recommended that i should buy a laptop from IBUYPOWER that has better specs than that of the mac book pro retina 15" and is cheaper. That moves onto my next question asking why are macs so overpriced? I did all my research on that too, and it most likely seems it is almost a brand name expense like louis vuotton. Next question is, how is the cheapest way I can get the 15" retina mac book pro for the cheapest price possible, should i wait until black friday for sales to lower, or should i wait until the next year to get the next 2015 model. Is the newer progressing years of MacBook pros that much better that i should wait until the next year to get it. Next question, say i wanted to play a game that is only on windows platform, ex. Skyrim. Should i play a cracked version that has been reformatted to the mac, or should i just download windows on my mac so that i can play it with more ease of use that way, instead of having to use everything in the mac side when it was originally formatted for Windows. There is no such think as a "cracked version that has been reformatted to the Mac". If you want to run Windows software, buy a PC and run Windows. Most people do. You may be able to play that game on a Mac using Bootcamp, but it isn't guaranteed.

There is No Bypass solution.
The Apple ID and Password that was Originally used to Activate the iDevice is required
If you do not have that information you will not be able to use the Device.

(2) Node 2 has java version:
java -version
java version "1.4.2"Do you run this command as applmgr user? If yes, did you source the application env file?
