The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
Not an error message I recognise personally but the error has the same pattern as those discussed in the first and third boxes, suggesting that you've got an outdated .dll file that needs replacing. You should find AVFoundationCF.dll in the Apple Application Support folder. Delete it and then repair Apple Application Support. If that doesn't work go for the full tear down and rebuild.

  • Getting Error-- "The procedure entry point _UP_GetActiveTreeCell could not be located in the dynamic link library cvirte.dll" on host machine.

I am trying to build an executible program that will be portable to machines which do not have CVI installed.  It works fine on my CVI v9.1 system.  However, whether or not I include "Full run-time support" in the build options, I get the error "The procedure entry point _UP_GetActiveTreeCell could not be located in the dynamic link library cvirte.dll" when I try to run it on a machine without CVI.  Please help.

To run a CVI application on a system were the CVI IDE is not installed you need to have the CVI RunTime Engine installed. According to the error message at the bottom of this page you may have an older RTE installed in the target system.
To obtain it you can either download the RTE and install in the target system or better let the IDE build a distribution disk that installs all necessary software in it: this guide drives you in creating the appropriate installer for your application: you can find it also in CVI help function.
Proud to use LW/CVI from 3.1 on.

  • Firefox wont start. Gives error: The procedure entry point PL_ClearArenaPod could not be located in plds4.dll

Complete text of error message when attempting to start Firefox.
The procedure entry point PL_Clear ArenaPod could not be located in the dynamic link library plds4.dll
Firefox never opens before or after the error message.
After I close the error message window, I also get message from ZoneAlarm (my security software) asking me to send them an error report.
I had just accepted an automatic update from Firefox prior to the problems occurring.

Do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can skip the step to create a new profile, that is not necessary for this issue.

  • 11.2 iTunes update has made me unable to open iTunes. It says "The procedure entry point ADiAdID_AquireMatchSlotIfNecessary could not be located in the dynamic link library iAdCore.dll" I have done everything imaginable! Please help?!

I deleted, reinstalled, searched, enabled, disabled--EVERYTHING and yet iTunes will not open! This is exactly why I hate updates rom Apple because they do this time and time again. I deleted multiple .dll files and nothing has worked. This is a glitch from the newest update 11.2. It says: "The procedure entry point ADiAdID_AquireMatchSlotIfNecessary could not be located in the dynamic link library iAdCore.dll" and I have no idea what the heck that means!
If there is anybody that is having similar issues and know of what the issue might be, please help =[
    Thanks.

Hi, Did you strip out all components, delete the named folders and reboot as in the second box of  Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates?
Checking on my computer here (Windows XP SP3 32 bit) I have one copy of iAdCore.dll in the main \Program Files\iTunes folder with the following properties:
    Size 3,004  KB
    Created 8th May 2014
    Modified 8th May 2014
    File Version 1.0.0.1
    Product Version 1.0.0.1
I'll try to get a look at 64-bit system later to confirm the correct path.

  • When computer boots I get error box stating "The procedure entry point _NSConcreteStackBlock could not be located in the dynamic link libray CoreFoundation.dll".  I have removed iTunes and all of it's components several times and re-loaded programs.

When I boot my computer I get error box stating "The procedure entry point _NSConcreteStackBlock could not be located in the dynamic link library CoreFoundation.dll.  I have completely removed iTunes and related programs and reinstalled them several times.  Doesn't fix the issue.  Any ideas on how to fix this?

You should have one copy of CoreFoundation.dll in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple Application Support or C:\Program Files (x68)\Common Files\Apple Application Support if this is a 64-bit Windows.
The detailed file properties should be as shown.
If the file you have is correct check to see if there is another copy in the main iTunes folder. If so delete it and see if that helps.
Otherwise try uninstalling/deleting folders/reinstalling iTunes again. See Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates for more details. Your issue looks a bit like it might be a variation of the issue in the first box.
Also worth checking that you have uninstalled the MobileMe control panel and any third party software that might try to talk to iTunes.

With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the SQLite3.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.

  • HT1926 I am getting this message when loading Itunes after updating to the latest upgrade..The procedure entry point uloc_getLocaleforLCID_4_0 could not be located in the dynamic link library icuuc40.dll (i have windows 7)

I have windows 7 and after updating Itunes to the latest version, I get this error message...
The procedure entry point uloc_getLocateeForLCID_4_0 could not be located in the dynamic link library icuuc40.dll.
I have tried repairing and reinstalling even deledted Itunes and did a re-install but keep getting the same error message.
what can I do to fix this error?

Taken at face value, you're having trouble with an Apple Application Support program file there. (Apple Application Support is where single copies of program files used by multiple different Apple programs are kept.)
Let's try something relatively simple first. Restart the PC. If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "Apple Application Support" and then click "Repair". If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "Apple Application Support", click "Change" and then click "Repair".
If no joy after that, try the more rigorous uninstall/reinstall procedure from the following post. (If you've got XP, although the procedure is for Vista and 7, just read "Computer" as "My Computer", read "Uninstall a program control panel" as "Add or Remove programs control panel" and assume the system is 32-bit, and you'll be doing the right things.)
