Plz help!!! GUI samples
I am looking for sample codes or hints to let a java card applet communicate with an applet at the level of the host. I've tested successfully my card applet using the sun's simulator (jcwde). I thaught about using system call from my host applet to run the jcwde and then read the outputed file but it doesn't work, in addition my host applet is using j2sdk1.4 and as far as I know this version is not supported by sun's simulator ( which works with jdk1.3).

I don't know about saving your life. I haven't seen the specifications >for that yet. What's the APDU for it ? I am sorry if the words I used were not appropriate but it is really important for me to finish off this work in the following couple of days. My english is not good since it is not my mother-tongue language.
I posted this request because I found that there were some posted messages where a developper called "DNeelesh" was providing some simple gui code.
Why would you want to simulate to the JCWDE ? It doesn't enforce JC >because it runs the Java VM not a Java Card VM. unfortunately, I didn't understand what you mean :(
my aim is to run my applet at the client side and be able to run the simulation from it and parse the output of the simulation ( jcwde.out) before displaying it in the gui interface.
I also didn't understand how the offcard communication can help me, all my concern is about running my simulation from within the host applet,

Check conflict between Logic Pro X and external device. ???????? PLZ HELPIt means you are overtaxing the CPU, likely with just one (3rd party-)software instrument plugin. Ignore the word "external", in this context it often means "3rd party plugin".
So what synth is it? Since you're Dutch, it's probably one of the trancy dancy synths, such as Albino, Diva, Sylenth or Massive... I could be wrong though...
The best way to avoid this message is to Freeze the track with the guilty synner - however, a frozen track cannot be edited, so if that is a problem, you will have to make the synth itself run lighter, which can be achieved by turning of internal effects that are ON the synth itself, especially reverb.

hi im having huge problems trying to install flash for my mac 10.5 imac, iv gone through the internet and tried all of the solutions, everytime i try to install flash it says cant read the download file, or it just wont install, anybody plz help!

PLZ help in interfacing my VI with NI 5640
I am interfacing Ni 5640 PCI with the example VI of the modulation toolkit "QAM transceiver" using the instrument driver of PCI 5640 not the labview FPGA driver
My final constellation is with lot of errors.
I am finding problems in setting the parameters of the PCI 5640. I am using the single tone generation VI at transmiter side and Spectrum measurement example Vi at RX side.
parameters I am setting are
at TX:
sampling rate of the complex cluster I am giving to ni 5640 R write waveform is 1600k S/s
IQ rate giving to ni 5640 R configure generation is 1600k S/s
Symbol rate is 100k Hz
pulse shaping root raised cosine using 16 samples per symbol
AT RX:
what should be the span if i see in the example spectrum measurement or the IQ rate at the ni 5640 R configure acquisition
how much samples to acquire?
if my transmitted bits are 1044 and applying 4 QAM on them
how should I resample my received array of IQ data????

cassykeysHave you tried importing them into the EXS 24 ? Assuming the process is the same if you're on Logic X, its just a matter of putting the soundfont files into the ~/Library/Application Support/Logic/Sampler Instruments folder and the EXS converts them when you try to load them - its explained properly in the Software Instruments manual (EXS24 section), but its very quick and easy. It might provide a decent alternative.

We recently installed solaris 10 (5.10) on sun sparc 64 bit machine and created oracle DB with 10.2.0.1 release .
After solaris 10 installation, our application performance has come down drastically.
The same application is running fine on solaris 9 ( 5.9 )
Old configuration
sun sparc 64 bit
solaris 9 (no patches applied )
oarcle 10.2.0.1 (no patches applied )
jboss 3.2.7
jdk 1.4
New configuration
sun sparc 64 bit
solaris 10 (no patches applied )
oarcle 10.2.0.1 (latest patches applied )

we would like to know about any known Solaris , Oracle DB patches to address this performance issue.

Check your AWR reports on the new database if you can spot any notable issues there, if you have the license or install/check STATSPACK reports if you can't use AWR.
You need to find out where the root cause of your problem is, and it might not be the database.
In your old thread you had posted the same configuration for both systems, except for the O/S version. Now you seem to have upgraded a lot of the components like JBOSS version or the JDK version.

Open an SR with Oracle and ask them if they are aware of any generic Solaris 10 issues.
In your last post you talked about "new stored procedures" so it wasn't clear if you really only changed the O/S or applied any changes to the application/database as well.

Problm with tiledlayer object not showing on screen!! plz help
im making a small chess game my chess board is made of Tiledlayer and my chess elements are also Tiledlayer wheneever a move is made i have to make changes to my chess elements cells. but i make changes and they appear on my tiledlayer object but dont show on screen...
when during game when i press FIRE_KEY first time my code goes to a thread and starts a rectangle which blinks and when i press fire again the tiled_layer is updated such that my chess element is moved from selected position to desired position.... but i dont c the change on screen....

thanks :({color:#000080}I don't know whether that's the only thing wrong here, but I see 3 calls to getGraphics(). The documentation for javax.microedition.lcdui.game.GameCanvas.getGraphics() says:{color}
A new Graphics object is created and returned each time this method is called; therefore, the needed Graphics object(s) should be obtained before the game starts then re-used while the game is running.
{color:#000080}-- Your call to getGraphics() in updateScreen(Graphics g) will return the reference to the local variable represented by the parameter g, which will be out of scope as soon as the method returns.
-- Your call to getGraphics() in animateSelectedItem() assigns the reference to a newly declared local variable, which too will be out of scope when the method returns. (But this method includes flushGraphics() so just possibly this g is flushed to the display.)

How do i merge these two VI's--PLZ HELP
HI,
I am fairly new to Labview.I created two separate VI's.How can i merge them?In my Arc_Project vi i have a tank 3 where sample is collected.After 5 mins the loop will stop and the sample collected from tank 3 will be drained out to Interim Storage.
In the second Vi-Spatial Logic.vi all the five tanks drain the sample to Interim Storage too.How do i add the volume drained from VI 1 and V1 2.

To answer your question, SubVIs is the way to go.
While you're at it, you should clear up some misconceptions you seem to have about "local variables". A local variable just points to the same front panel object, so reading an indicator via a local variable and then immediately writing that value back to the same indicator is useless. Nothing will change! What you labeled "Main loop" servers no purpose. Keep the terminals of the indicators and delete the rest! Same with the chart loop!
You do way too many duplicate operations. For example you multiply five different wires with 0.1, using 5 diagram constants of 0.1. One would be enough! If you would multiply the headwater-tailwater difference with 0.1, you would do all in one operation and could eliminate all these other 0.1 multiplications. same result!

i worked the Jsp in the Tomcat 5.5 Environment it shows me some error.
The sample coding which i have worked out is

udhaya.cThe implicit objects are avbl only inside scriptlets <%........%> and not inside your own custom methods (which you shouldnt anyways be having, in first place. However its ok since you have just about begun with jsps).
To use the implicit 'out' object within custom methods, you will have to pass them as parameters when you call the methods from within your scriptlets.
