Hi All,
I m doing a calculation using MathFp .the resulting value is coming negative.
i thing some problem in this line of code.

MathFP.toString(MathFP.div(MathFP.toFP(Value),MathFP.toFP("1000")));
it gives currect output when we give value = "500000" but when we give value = "600000" or more it gives negative value.
plz help me.

First of all it sounds like you are using a very old version of MathFP. If you go to www.jscience.net you can download the latest 2.0.6 version that has both support for int and long based fixed point solutions. In addition if you want to stick with the int implementation then you can reduce the number of bits used for the fraction using the setPrecision API call.
So there are two solutions to your problem of which upgrading to the 2.0.6 with long based fixed points seem to be the easiest. It also doubles the precision of the fraction (i.e. a radix of 24).
In addition just as a side note don't forget to preverify the class. Many developers seem to get frustrated when they get a preverify error. Eventhough the error is pretty clear it seems nobody cares about reading documentation.

This declaration causes the SurveyModel instance to be created in request scope when the page is rendered, but that doesn't help you when the form is submitted -- that is going to happen on the next request (so the request attribute created here goes away). For me again it is really strange why it is not

Any idea ? Because the event listener is fired in a separate request, so the one you created in the page is gone.
This is why the managed bean creation facility was created. If your component contains a valueRef that points at the bean name (or you evaluate a ValueBinding as illustrated earlier in the responses to your question), then the bean will get instantiated during the processing of the form submit.

Plz. help,table does not show value for one field

i have a really strange problem , i have a string field in access database that contains the date and time value,this field for some strange reason does not show in my table created through html,
i tried all combination(arranging the fields) ,renaming it w/o help, it shows the value using out.println(but then why is it not showing me in the table???)

Where we are entering the date value as MM/DD/RRRR HH24:MI:SS
The date format set in the company is like RRRR/MM/DD HH24:MI:SS
SO I format masked the date parameter in .RDF to RRRR/MM/DD HH24:MI:SS format.
While the actual date format in the data base is like DD/MM/RRRR HH24:MI:SS.
I checked all the old reports and the date format is like they masked the date format to company format and used the afterparameter trigger like bellow:

Need help implementing Radix sort to handle negative values

I'm in desperate need for some help here...
I've been struggling with this Radix sort algorithm for some time now. It sorts positive integers very well, and very fast, but it cant handle negative values. Is there anyone who can help me improve this algorithm to also sort negative integer values?
I need it to be as fast or even faster then the current one, and it has to be able to sort values in an array from address x -> y.
Here's what I have so far

     }I think it can be solved by offsetting all positive values the with the number of negative values found in "a" during the last run through the main for loop (as the last (or first) 8 bits in an 32 bit integer contains the prefix bit (first bit in an 32 bit integer), 0 for positive value, 1 for negative).

First off, try triple clicking the home button.
To scroll use three fingers and I think you have to double tap to get into something.
Go to Settings>General>Accessability>Voiceover and then turn that off.

It can be any IF failure. Check in debugging and see how this "i_e_msg" internal table is filled. May be the return table is giving the component number in external format and you have it in internal format or vice-versa in the READ statement "component = i_e_msg-external_object_id".

Negative values in AIAB, AIBU

I am tying to post negative values in transactin AIAB & AIBU. System is giving error mesage negative equilance values not allowed. How can I allow negative values.
The asset on which negative values are posting , have already configured for negative values.

Goto AS02 - Asset change - Goto Dep Areas - Double Click on 01 Dep area - There you can see the Dep Area is in Negative or Positive.
So for TEMPERORILIY change an do the AIBU/AIAB and make sure to change back once the posting is done.

and textpool is also a structure u can check the fields in se11.
as the structure of textpool and rpool are not same
i cannot declare the type of rpool as textpool because it ill change the functionality of the prog because in the rest of the prog we r using the fields of rpool.
plz help me.

i did this::::
data: begin of rpool occurs 20,
            id(1),
            name(8),
            text(80),
      end of rpool.
data: rname like rsvar-report.
data : RPOOL_1 LIKE TEXTPOOL OCCURS 0 WITH HEADER LINE.
TYPEs : begin of RPOOL_1 ,
            id(1),
            name(8),
            text(80),
      end of rpool_1.
read textpool rname into rpool_1 language sy-langu.
MOVE-CORRESPONDING rpool_1 TO rpool.
write : rpool-id, rpool-text, rpool-name.
later on in the program we r using name and text fields but in this when i debugged it is nt able to identify name and text fields only showing the value of id bcoz id is also dere in textpool structure.

it is negative time recording, the personnel number is assigned to '0' in IT07, but it is showing the same error

Maitain the values in the following tables..
T555E-Message Descriptions
T551C-Period work schedule evaluation
V_551C_B-Valuation class for Periodic work schedule
V_t508A-Work schedule rule
V_001P_H-Personnel Subarea grouping for Time Recording
V_T555Z- Time type Determination
V_T510S-Time wage type selection rule
