Plz help me, transfering data from PC to phone question

Hi there, i really need help in order to transfer files from my PC to my cell, i want to transfer a theme to the phone. Now ill explain my problem.
Firstly, the phone, and the micro sd card in the phone is not recognized by my PC or desk top manager. Thats fine, i've been trying for a long time and searching all over the internet for help, but nothing works. I've tried the battery pulls, new soft ware, etc.
So i've come up with another idea, and basically involves the usage of my previous MOTO phone to connect to the PC, with the micro SD card in, and transfer the files from there. It does work, as the background pictures that were stored on the SD card from the first phone show up on the black berry.
Now i want to connect it to get the BB Bold theme from the Z man, i think it would be awesome and a good change. So basically i want to try to get the files for the BOLD theme onto that SD card and then open them for the blackberry. I have already tried putting the theme in the pictures section of the SD card but the themes dont show up on the blackberry.
If any one knows a way for them to show up, how to find them on the BB, where to transfer them, it would be very appreciated. Now i can't do it over the internet or email because i got the BB from a friend and my cell company wont allow you to get the data plan with it.

Hi and welcome to the forums!
I would suggest you address the connection issue with desktop manager and your device first.
You need to be able to backup, upgrade, synchronize your data to keep your Blackberry running properly.

Help for transfering data from one user' all tables to another

Hello guys,
I have trim the extra sizes of columns in almost all tables of my database. Before doing this, I saved the data of tables by creating another user "User1" with the same objects and importing dmp file in it. After this I cleared my original objects and reduced the extra sizes of columns alomost in all tables.
Now I want to transfer data from backup user "User1" into my original user's "User" tables.
Can any one guid me with the way of doing so, so that I could do it just through 3 or 4 lines of code instead of individualy table wise transfering the data...??

Assuming you have your Windows Phone data synced to Microsoft's Outlook.com, or even Gmail,
You can setup the Outlook.com or Gmail account in Settings->Email, Contacts, Calendars->Accounts->Add Account
And it will download all data from there. Email, contacts, etc..
Other than that, you will have to export all your data from the Windows phone, and then use iTunes to Sync whatever is relevant onto the iPhone.

Four transfers. After the initial attempt with Migration Assistant failed (after hours and hours of wifi transfer) I did "mini-transfers" of more manageable, smaller bits of files -- my music in one, photos in another, etc. Since posting my question in this forum, i contacted Apple support, chatted with Angela, and she suggested getting an ethernet-USB adapter for my mac, connecting my external drive with ethernet and transferring files manually -- that is, NOT using the Migration Assistant at all. Transferring Data from old iMac to new iMac via Firewire

I am having difficulty transferring data from my old iMac to my new iMac via firewire. Per the instructions contained in migration assistant, when I hold down the letter "T" key during startup of the "old" mac the firewire symbol does not appear. Given that the firewire symbol does not appear I am unable to proceed with the transfer. Of note, my new Mac is the '09 24" iMac and my old iMac is the early 2006 model with the 17" screen. Incidentally, I am using the following cable contained in the attached link along with the adaptor (400) with respect to my old iMac.

Not sure why that wouldn't work, but it could be that cable and adapter setup as the Early Core Duo only supports firewire 400.
You should try a 9 to 6 Pin Bilingual FireWire Cable:

Got Mini for Christmas. Transferred data from iPad3 to new Mini. Want to move data from iPad1 to iPad 3, but iPad3 is "disabled" & won't recognize old passcode. Tried to restore, but still can't get past old passcode login screen.

My mac and I rely HEAVILY on the use of alias files and folders. The simple version of my question is: When transferring data from an old hard drive to a new one, is there a way to keep alias files and folders in tact? These are not symlinks or symbolic links, they're all alias files and folders.
Is there any software out there that might help me with a solution? Are there any tricks or tips you can give me to try?

Use either Setup Assistant at first start, or Migration Assistant on subsequent occasions and all will be transferred intact. Given your wording I presume you are Unix savvy and will appreciate the problems that duplicate userids would cause, so of you use MA for the migration, make sure the target Mac has no userid equal to that on the source and you will be fine.
SA does not have these issues since it runs before any user account is created, so it can simply copy over everything. But MA runs after the fact and only solves the issue partially by changing the UID in the user directory, leading to permission problems.

I found a solution!
Perhaps this is just temporary, but I have my display up and working again.
Although the symptoms are different were a bit different, the solution here worked:

As I was able to connect to my HD via an external monitor, in the finder, I went to:
1. Macintosh HD --> System --> Library --> Extensions
2. From there I moved all of the files that started with ADM and ATI (19 in total for me) to a folder on my desktop. (You will need to enter your admin password for this)
3. Next was a restart.
4. Then my display started working again.
5. After that, I transferred the files back into my Extensions folder.
6. I then did another restart with my fingers crossed and breath held. It worked.
Also... During the last few days of trying to find a fix, I restored a Mavericks backup to my computer away from Yosemite.
I'm very sure this problem occurred when I put my MBP to sleep, disconnected the power in its sleep, while something was connected to a USB port and unplugging the USB device (for me an iPhone charger) while the MBP was closed.
I hope this helps the next person.
