    If you are getting this error, then you are most likely compiling your code with a different JVM than what is shipped with the application server. Oracle9iAS Release 2 (9.0.2) uses the JDK1.3.1. I got this error when I compiled the code with JDK1.4.0_01.

  • App pool is getting stopped automatically while running the web service created by publishing Orchestration

    Hi All,
      I have created a Biztalk application and published that as Web service. I created a App pool and assigned that as an Identity for the newly created virtual directory.
     For the App pool I have set up the identity with a specific user id and add that user id under the Group IIS_USERS.
    When I am browsing the web service I am getting Service Unavailable(HTTP Error 503) and App pool is getting stopped automatically.
    I checked in the event viewer getting the following error:
    Application pool WSOrchPool has been disabled. Windows Process Activation Service (WAS) did not create a worker process to serve the application pool because the application pool identity is invalid.
    I am sure that user id and password is correct. the same user-id is added in all the Biztalk server groups.
    Please let me know what can be the issue.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Joy

    Hi Joy,
    You need to ensure that the application pool identity is set to a valid account for the application pool to function.
    Step by step explanation can be found at
    Event ID 5057 — IIS Application Pool Availability

  • Can not test the web service in JDeveloper.

    Hi there...
    I created an AppModule, added two custom methods, and generated a webservice for that. When I want to test the webservice I get the error "The Webservice Tester cannot be invoked because the WSDL document of the selected service cannot be read."
    If I right the webservice and select run, I can view the web page to invoke the methods, However I am wondering why I can't test the service inside the developer.
    The settings of my system are as follows:
    OS: windows 7 64bit
    JDeveloper: Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.3.0 , Build JDEVADF_11.1.1.3.PS2_GENERIC_100408.2356.5660
    I did not install any update for JDeveloper...
    So if anyone is having an idea what this problem is let me know.
    thanks .

    It seems that even if the test web service option does not work and i get the error, it is possible to run the web service, and then by clicking on the link in the log the tester in jdeveloper appears.
    Don't know the reason for such strange behavior.

  • Which JAR's are required to run a Web Service Proxy?

    Hi,
    I successfully generated a Web Service Proxy, which runs when I start it in JDeveloper. However when I generate a JAR with all classe files, and try to start the main class of this JAR I get the following error:
    java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/xml/rpc/ServiceFactory
    Which additional JAR's do I need to run the Web Service Proxy outside JDeveloper.
    Note, that I have JRE 1.4 and not 5!
    Thanks for hints Thomas

    Hi,
    the class is part of Java EE 5 platform. So you need to run it n that context

  • How to access the Web Service Browser

    Hi,
    I need to access the Web Service Browser to generate a Web Service Description.
    How can I do it?
    I use the follow url:
    http://<host_name>:<port_number>/sap/bc/bsp/sap/WebServiceBrowser/search.html?sap-client=<relevant_client>
    but I can't say how to determine values for the three placeholders.
    Help me please.
    THANKS

    Hi Andrea,
    you can access the web services in sap transaction SICF. Then right click on the
    service and choose "test". The hostname is the host on where the sap system
    runs.
    The port ´number can be seen in transaction SMICM -> shift + F1. Here you can see
    the portnumer assigned to the HTTP protocol.
    And the client is the sap client (standard client) for which the service is configured.
    Hope this helps.

  • Error while running 10g web services tutorial

    I am trying to learn and evaluate JDev 10g. I followed the web services tutorial for 10g. In the end when I tried to run the example I get the following error. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi,
    Unfortunately, your web service is failing at runtime because JDeveloper (and more specifically, the embedded OC4J) is installed in a directory whose path contains a space character. If you move JDeveloper from "Program Files" to another directory, perhaps "Program_Files", then it'll all go smoothly.
    Apologies if this causes you inconvenience.

    Alan.

  • URGENT **** Need help for JAX-RPC Web Service Proxy deploy to OC4J 10.1.3.5

    Hi everyone!
    I’m really new to web services.
    I’m getting a *500 internal server error* while deploying my JAX-RPC web service Proxy to an Oracle AS, in an OC4J, v. 10.1.3.5.0.
    Running my client from my development environment (*jdeveloper 10g, 10.1.3.5.0*) everything functions correctly: from jdeveloper I can contact and use the web service defined by the following endpoint: https://www.medialibrary.it/services/federaMLOL.asmx?WSDL
    I created a "try_ws_client.jsp" file that runs correctly from my local development environment jdeveloper (that uses an embedded oc4j, v. 10.1.3.5.0) but fails when run from the test server (Oracle AS, in an OC4J, v. 10.1.3.5.0), getting, as I mentioned a 500 internal server error, a white page in IE but with FF the message says: The’s an error in the servlet .....
    Here's how I created the ws proxy and how I’m using it to consume the ws I mentioned.
    1. I used the jdeveloper “Create Web Service Proxy” wizard (File > New > Business Tier > Web Services > Web Service Prox) and in the WSDL document URL I put: https://www.medialibrary.it/services/federaMLOL.asmx?WSDL
    2. The operation ended without adding nothing to the web.xml file and creating the proxy files. One of them is: FederaMLOLSoapClient.java that have the WS exposed methods (es: public boolean createUser(String) ) + a “main” method with the example how to use this client to consume the WS.
    public static void main(String[] args) {
    try {
    it.reggiocity.provincia.mlol.proxy.FederaMLOLSoapClient myPort = new it.reggiocity.provincia.mlol.proxy.FederaMLOLSoapClient();
    System.out.println("calling " + myPort.getEndpoint());
    // Add your own code here
    } catch (Exception ex) {
    ex.printStackTrace();
    3. In FederaMLOLSoapClient.java I’ve create the method "tyIt":
    public String tryIt(String username) {
    try {
    it.reggiocity.provincia.mlol.proxy.FederaMLOLSoapClient myPort = new it.reggiocity.provincia.mlol.proxy.FederaMLOLSoapClient();
    if(myPort.createUser(String username)) {
    return “O.K”;
    } else {
    return “K.O”;
    } catch (Exception ex) {
    // logs error
    4. I created my try_ws_client.jsp file that creates FederaMLOLSoapClient object and calls the tryIt method, printing the “OK” or “KO” message.
    <%@ page import="it.reggiocity.provincia.biblioreggiane.*"%>
    <%
    String message = "";
    FederaMLOLSoapClient obj= new FederaMLOLSoapClient( );
    message = obj.tryIt(“AAAAAA70R10H226H”);
    %>
    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
    <%@ page contentType="text/html;charset=windows-1252"%>
    <html>
    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1252"/>
    <title>prova</title>
    </head>
    <body><%=message%></body>
    </html>
    The situation is:
    My try_ws_client.jsp runs correctly from my jdeveloper and the user is created while creating app.ear and deploying it to my Oracle AS/OC4J as mentioned above, I get a 500 Internal Server Error.
    Any idea to find a solution to this problem?
    Please help.
    Take care.
    John M.

    Hi,
    you want to build the Web Service, or you want to consume the Service as a client? If the latter, Web client (ADF?) or Java client?

  • Issue in calling the web service

    Hi,
      I have created one web service, they call this from .Net system. Here I am using one function module
      "QC01_BATCH_VALUES_READ" to get the Customer status of the material. Here the issue is, when I run this web service in SAP, it is returning the data for this field, But when it ran through .Net, it is not returning any value for this field. I do not understand why this function module is behaving like this.
    If anybody faced the same kind of issue please help me.
    Thanks,
    ravi

    Ravi,
    One of the possible reasons may be while calling webservice from .net the I_VAL_MATNR have MATNR domain have a conversion rountines. so while calling from .net you may need to pad the MATNR
    with 0.
    I_VAL_CHARGE don't have any conversion routines, think this will not be a problem

  • Invoking the web service

    I'm trying to call the web service with automatically built service client, the code is like this:
    Dispatch<Source> sourceDispatch = null;
                sourceDispatch = service.createDispatch(portQName, Source.class, Service.Mode.PAYLOAD);
                Source result = sourceDispatch.invoke(new StreamSource(new StringReader(req)));where req is String variable containing whole xml message.
    but after running I have an error:
    Unsupported Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8 Supported ones are: [text/xml]
    com.sun.xml.internal.ws.server.UnsupportedMediaException: Unsupported Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8 Supported ones are: [text/xml]
    at com.sun.xml.internal.ws.encoding.StreamSOAPCodec.decode(StreamSOAPCodec.java:116)
    at com.sun.xml.internal.ws.encoding.SOAPBindingCodec.decode(SOAPBindingCodec.java:280)
    How to change the content-type of the message ? or maybe deal with that in better way ?
    I've tried to call the service by using generated object too, this is the code
    PersonManagementServiceSync_Service service = new PersonManagementServiceSync_Service();
                PersonManagementServiceSync port = service.getPersonManagementServiceSyncSoap();
                // TODO initialize WS operation arguments here
                CreatePersonRequest parameters = new CreatePersonRequest();
                SyncRequestHeaderInfo headerInfoRequest = new SyncRequestHeaderInfo();
                javax.xml.ws.Holder<CreatePersonResponse> response = new javax.xml.ws.Holder<CreatePersonResponse>();
                javax.xml.ws.Holder<SyncResponseHeaderInfo> headerInfoResponse = new javax.xml.ws.Holder<SyncResponseHeaderInfo>();
                ...parameters setup .....
                port.createPerson(parameters, headerInfoRequest, response, headerInfoResponse);but that's generates another error:
    Unable to create StAX reader or writer
    Does anybody know how to fix that ??? I'm using NetBeans 6.5 to build the client

    Please help me on this !!!
