PM Order description based on the Package Due

Hello Experts,
Can anyone explain me if PM Order description can be defaulted based on the Package Due such as Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annual, etc..
I know we can have multiple maintenance items with different task list for each package, so that the order description is copied from the maint.-item description.
Is there any other better way to do this in standard SAP?

As you told, Order description is getting copied from Maintenance Item.
In Maintenance item, task list will be assigned. As single Task list may be having different packages & Order will consolidate the operations with packages based on Hierarchy, its not possible to bring the package due as description.
One work around would be, maintenance item can be defined based on package. Pre-requisite would be task list based on package.
In the task list, operations should be splitted up based on package. One Task list for one package.
Then create the maintenance item based on package & assign particular task list to that maintenance item.

    Dear All,
    We are using SAP CRM 5.0 standalone and we want to use CRM Billing.
    All necessary configuration has been done to enable CRM Billing on sales orders.
    Here is the list of what have been done:
    1. Defined Billing unit and assigned to my sales organization.
    2. Created billing document type for sales order (F2 as standard).
    3. Defined billing item category (TAN as transaction-based billing after complete)
    4. Defined billing item category determination (for trans. type TA, item category TAN, billing item category will be TAN)
    With all the above configuration, when I created a sales order (TA), set the order status to 'completed' and save it, I checked the item status, it is 'completed for billing'. However, when I ran 'Process Billing Due List', nothing has been picked up.
    I checked the order line item, and found that the 'Delivered Qty' field is 0. Could this be the reason? I set the item category TAN billing relevancy to be 'Transaction-based after completion', then it should not care about delivery, right?

    Thanks for your detailed reply. It seems that all the config points you mentioned in your email have already been covered. However I still don't see anything on my billing due list.

  • Open Order Quantity based on the processing Material (loop)

    Hi,
    How do you get the open order quantity from VBAP/VBAK, based on the material?
    As far as I know, the order is an open order if the Item Qty (VBAP-KWMENG) and Delivery Qty (LIPS-LFIMG) do not match.
    How you I get the full quantity for all Open Orders based on the Material?

    Two ways i can think of..
    1. Standard vbap/lips check
    ( Use table VAPMA to start, since material is indexed on this table)
    2. From your MRP-MD06/MD04(There will be a table for MRP log.please check this)

  • Back order rescheduling based on the order date

    Hi,
    Presently, the back order scheduling is based on the order numbers (A-Z) TO customers.
    We want it to be by Order date sequence oldest to newest.
    How can I achieve this?

    In the selection screen of V_V2, you can see what you can sort the orders by;
    - Date of creation
    - Delivery date of earliest schedule line
    If this is the date you want, you can choose these as the number 1 priority.

    When i click the below link then it will navigate to the sales order transacation.

    now i will  create a hyper link to these transaction id's  from the portal screen, and when ever user clicks on any of these transaction id, then i should navigate to the sales order transaction by showing the details about this transaction id.
    Please do suggest me how to handle this.

  • Display Different Product MSRP and Description based on the Country of the

    When a User Opens a Product I want to show him the Product Prices and Description depending on his region.
    For Eg: if the person is from Canada (based on his profile) and he select a product ABCD the MSRP visible is USD 1000 and the description is also different
    Another persond belonging to US opens the same product he see it as USD 1250
    Is there a way in which we could do this?

    Hi,
    As per my requirement, we need to create one file for each IDoc based on IDoc header data. SAP program generates 10 IDocs for each run. All 10 IDoc's message type is same.  Each IDoc has one header record with the file name. Base on the  name in the IDoc header record, file needs to be created with different columns and file name. Means..
    IDoc 01- Header Description contains 'A' - than file will be generated should have name as 'A.txt' and columns 'parent'  'child' 'descripion'.
    IDoc 02- Header Description contains 'B' - than file will be generated should have name as 'B.txt' and columns 'Name' 'Department' 'Description'.
    IDoc 10- Header Description contains 'J' - than file will be generated should have name as 'J.txt' and columns 'Order No'  'Materail' 'Description'.
    Hope this will give more clarity on my requirement. Please let me if you are still not clear on requirement.

  • New Z-table to auto-populate description based on the key field entered

    I have to created a z-table, there are several fields however I am interested in only two
    1) VSTEL and 2) PADEST for shipping point and the printer name. Also there are two other fields I have added to the table that are the descriptions for VSTEL and PADEST. Now the requirement is that when the user enteres a value in table maintenance ( sm30)
    for say VSTEL, then its description should auto populate or propose the right values. Same should happen for the PADEST and its description field.

    Goto the Table maintenance generator of the Table.
    On this screen.
    Environment -
    > Modification -
    > Events
    Create New entry in the table with T = 05 and Z <any name>
    Save it.
    An editor button appears next to the from name.
    Click on it and create an include.
    Write your code in this include...
    select vstel
           padest
           from table XXXX into table I_XXXX
           where vstel = (Z_VSTEL)User enterd VSTEL in module pool.
    If sy-subrc = 0.
          loop at I_XX into wa_xxx.      
              if wa_xxx-vstel = Z_vstel.
                z_padest(Desc field in Tab maint) = wa_XXX-PADEST.  
              endif.
          endloop.
    endif.
    The same logic can be used to get the desc for VSTEL and PDEST.
    You can change this in many ways based on performance.
    The above code is just to give an idea...

    I have a requirement wherien there will be 4 input selections for a report namely A, B, C & D alongwith Fiscal year period. wherin Fiscal Year period will be mandatory field
    Now, the output of the report should show the description of the report as follows:
    For E.g: if Fiscal year Period = 011/2011
    When User Enters input value for 'A', then report nameshould be displayed as A 011/2011
    When User Enters input value for 'B', then report nameshould be displayed as B 011/2011
    When User Enters input value for 'C', then report nameshould be displayed as C 011/2011
    When User Enters input value for 'D', then report nameshould be displayed as  D 011/2011
    Please advice if this requirement is possible and if yes, please guide me how?

    I have a query
    select * from table_name where id IN (100,250,400) ;
    and it returns results in the order they have been entered in the database.
    But I need to get the results in the order in which they are entered in the in clause Like
    Resultset for 100 ,resultset for 250 and so on.
    Is there a way in which I can arrange my resultset?

  • Pricing - flat fee sales order discount based on the group of items

    Dear All.
    Has anyone came up with a process to offer a customer discount on a sales order as a flat fee to the whole sales order, not a % when specific products are ordered on the sales order.
    The problem that we're running in to is with no automatic pricing at the header level.  So we either need to manually enter the discount at the header level, or apply a group condition at the item level which then repeats the flat discount for all items in the group.  However we only want the discount to apply one time.
    Thoughts on how to best approach this?

    If you want to use Header condition for discounts, then you can't apply to only one line item. If you want to spread the total value among all the line items, then in t.code V/06, check the box group condition. While printing any of the documents like order confirmation or invoice, print the discount at the header level, so that this will not reflect on all items. Check with an ABAP'er for the same.

    I am having a requirement wherein i have to insert multiple line items in purchase order idoc  based on quatity .Eg if the line item qty is 3 then the same line item has to be repated for 3 times and purchase order idoc has to created with 3 line items.I am trying to do this User exit EXIT_SAPLEINM_002 which is used Customer Enhancements to Data Segments: Purchasing Document (Outbound ).Can anybody tell me how can i go ahead inserting multiple lineitems in purchase order idoc based on the qty.So, Can anybody know how to handle this scenario?   • Name of the day from date based on the logon language

    Hi All,
    Could anyone help me with any function module which gives the name of the day after entering the date. but the name of the day should be language specific. I know DATE_COMPUTE_DAY_ENHANCED gives the name of the day but this is in english. I want the name/ description based on the logon language.
    For example, I login in EN and I execute the above function module for date, 19.10.2010. so the weekday is Thursday. but this 'thursday' should be given in the logon language not the same even if I login in DE etc.

    You can try to use FM DATE_COMPUTE_DAY to get the day ID, and then consult table T246 or execute FM DAY_NAMES_GET to get the day description in the desired language.
