1.Portal Database holds the portal related data like iviews,worksets,pages, roles etc.

2. Emp No and Tel No are generally for the users, so it depends on how you configure your UME.

How can I store data in CompactFlash in a PCI 7041?

Hi.
I have built an application for RT control in a PCI 7041 that executes the main loop at 5 kHz, so cycle time is 200 us. Now I want to save some data generated during execution. I would like to register timestamp and three values per cycle so I'd have four values every 200 us.
I think that the best way to do this is to store data in the CompactFlash memory included in PCI 7041 in real time (one "row" per cycle), and then, after RT loop execution (it lasts about 2 seconds), download all data to Host's hard disk.
How can I do this? How can I access CompactFlash from Labview? Is there a better way to solve my problem?

The 7041's CompactFlash is accessible as a drive (C through LabVIEW's file I/O functions. You can open/create/replace files on the 7041, just as you would on the host by calling file I/O functions in your downloaded VI.
Once the data is on C:, FTP to the 7041 from the host to retrieve your files. You can FTP programmatically in LabVIEW if you have the internet toolkit. If you don't have the internet toolkit, you can use System Exec to run your FTP commands.
If you prefer not to use FTP, you can transfer the data via TCP, UDP, or Datasocket, but that will require some additional programming.

Get a suitable backup software..
Windows backup is of course useless. But you should already know that. It will not work on any version less than pro anyway.. due to MS deciding people with home versions should never use networks. ???
That is why there is one million and one third party backup software that do work with network drives. Look up reviews of what works well. for the price you want to pay and get it.. Drive Image was a popular one. I must have a copy somewhere I bought .. then changed to Mac..
There are plenty of free ones.. I do use macrium reflect.. does disk image only unless you pay the license.. but works super well.. particular for restore.. which people kind of forget.. the value of backup is how well does it restore.
Use ethernet if possible.
Note that mixing TM and data on the TC is not necessarily a great idea if you are also running Macs.

after make the following steps, I have problem, please give me some tips. thanks
1, Append structure Zcode in MARA.
2, Created a ZMGD1 via SE80 copy from function group MGD1.
3, modify screen 0001, put this Zcode in this screen and FC MARA-Zcode.
4, change SPRO, specify new program SAPLZMGD1 for this screen 0001.
after these steps, I can find out this new field (Zcode) appear in MM02.
but, the data of Zcode can not be store in MARA.

I am good in Enterprise Portal administration and Development.I got strange doubt here.What exactly i can call SAP Portal in Netweaver platform.Can i call it as Application integrater.I discussed with some of them they are telling its not at all an application integration tool.Then what exactly i can tell enterprise Portal in Netweaver platform.AS for knowledge i think XI is Process integrator and EP is Application integrater.Needs others opinion.

What?? You asked how to get all your music on your phone at once rather than downloading it to your phone from iCloud.
Go to your purchased list in iTunes and download all your music to your iTunes library, as explained in the linked article. Then sync it all to your phone using iTunes you're done. The music will be stored locally on your phone and you won't have to download it again in the future.

Log into the app store using the Apple ID you used to set your computer up. Look under purchases. If it is not there you may need to accept it or to unhide it

Hey i just got a new 6/2012 macbook air and love it.
just wanted to get some games for it.
and ive gone to the app store, but alot of the good games require certain graphics cards etc...

Don't play any games on your MacBook Air. Use that for your seriuos endevors and just purchase a cheap Windows Samsung or Dell for $500 bucks and use that. Or pick up that Google crap Adroid with a new OS every week for $150 bucks and use that.
But keep your MacBook Air free from any garbage.

Can we use WebCenter Sites Content Store as the default content store in WebCenter Portal?
I need to create website in WebCenter Sites, all the content will be stored in Sites Content Store. I also need to integrate WebCenter Portal with Sites content store to fetch contents from the store and display it in Portal. I do not wish to purchase WebCenter Content.

Well , as suggested by jiri machotka, you can go for version 11.1.1.8.0 version with proper license.
However,if you are using earlier versions than I must say that-
It's going to be very very complex and cumbersome development process al-together . (at least for me) .Because why I am telling this is -
The content repository structure of (webcenter site's CA server )is completely different from UCM (webcenter content server and preferred cms for portal).
In previous threads ,lot of things are being discussed about this issue.
In my opinion,you can very well integrate sites content to portal pages via REST API. Documentation is available.

Apart from it, you can also do -
1. Gadgets - You can consume Gadgets from WebCenter Portal, some examples with Google Gadgets are available in OTN.
