Powershell | COMAdmin | $app is null.

Question

Hi,
I have a power shell script which has these lines
$comservername="appname"
$comAdmin = New-Object -comobject ("COMAdmin.COMAdminCatalog.1")
$comAdmin.connect("localhost")
$apps = $comAdmin.GetCollection("Applications")
$apps.Populate();
$currentdate + " app count is " + $apps.Count | Out-File $logFileName -Append
If i run this locally, is see the count in the log file.
However if, i run this script via PSEXEC, $app is null. Any idea?

None of what you are doing makes any sense.
PSExec cannot execute PowerShell scripts.    You are missing way to o much information about what you are doing.
For PSEXEC issues post in the psexec forum at SYSINTERNALS.COM
$comAdmin isa n object.  YOu cannot reasonably output it to a file.
I recommend starting by learning how to use basic PowerShell. Much of your issue will become clear.
