PP CS 4.0 Vs PP CS 5.5

When using transitions on certain nested sequences my final renders get a color shift during the transition using PP CS 5.5.  If I use PP CS 4.0 they render just fine. Someone else had mentioned this as well. I don't know if the Mercury Playback Engine should be tweaked or just scrapped. It is nice to edit several layers of native AVCHD with filters in real-time using PP CS 5.5 but the quality needs to top priority as opposed to performance.

I can only imagine you've something wrong with your set-up.
You probably need to be more specific than just saying "crap".  Is it curry crap?  Hard boiled egg crap?  Is it solid crap?  Or not?
Are you converting this crap from DV25 or to DV25?  And how does the monitor figure in your workflow?  I cannot see how the monitor will affect the crapiness - unless the monitor is crap and you've just just seeing crappy previews and the underlying quality is not crap.
How does it render out - and to what format.  Is that also crap? Or not?
