I was just looking on Price-Grabbers (a website that you can lookup stuff that you are looking to buy and it will give you several different sites that are selling it. It also has product reviews.) and I saw that they are looking for People who have MP3 players to post a review on there site. They are offering a $5.00 mail in rebate for posting reviews.
I thought it was cool so I decided to post it here for others to use. (Click HERE To go to the Page). I have done an Advanced Search on their site to look up all the creative players so you can get it EZ.

Since I switched from XP to Vista the 'Send for Review' or 'Send Comments' feature is no more working inside Adobe Reader 8?

Contact sales support by web chat. They can cancel your current subscription and transfer you to the new one if you are within certain criteria. Otherwise you may need to wait until your subscription runs out and then sign up later.

Wow mail-in rebates give me grief

I purchased a MiFi4620L Jetpack back in November, with the $50 mail-in rebate. I follow the steps of completing the mail-in rebate form detail by detail and feel good about actually having taken the time being someone that so often forgets to do this process!
This evening, after looking in one of my desk drawers, I see the Jetpack box and realize I can't recall having received the rebate. I quickly log onto the rebate status tool to find the dreaded:
Missing Device ID (ESN/MEID/IMEI)
Missing Proof of Purchase (UPC) Bar Code
To my dismay I quickly realize I either forgot to take make a copy of the small portion of the box that was removed or I can't for the life of me find it on any of the numerous flash drives on my desk.
I am so overcome with frustration at this point, knowing how painstakingly careful I was about ensuring everything was included in that envelope.
I proceed to have the below discussion with Judy, who I completely understand doesn't have the autonomy to make an exception in my case. Now granted this is just $50 and I'm not going to miss it but the fact I took the time to take these steps only for the box piece to become lost and for me to be out of luck on the rebate is extremely frustrating. I haven't been this disappointed about a missing box top since General Mills claimed I was one UPC short of a Boo Berry stuffed toy. This is my first Verizon line I have ever owned and was planning on porting my work phone to Verizon this spring with a trusty new Blackberry 10 device.
I included an image of the box just for the heck of it. Perhaps you can see one of my tears rolling down the side of it.

Cannot find form for Galaxy S 5 mail-in rebate

I just purchased a Galaxy S 5 online through Verizon and was promised on the website and during the checkout process a $50 mail-in rebate.
There was no rebate form with the phone when it arrived, and I can't seem to find one online to print.

I ordered a Macbook with free ipod, but haven't got the mail in rebate

So i picked their special deal where you get a macbook and free ipod. I got both of them, but I didn't get the mail in rebate. Do I wait some more, it's been a week, or what do I do?

What do you mean you didn't get the mail-in rebate? Did you fill out a rebate form in the first place? There is a rebate that you print out, fill in and mail to Apple. Once that is done, it takes 6-8 weeks for your rebate to come.

Mail-in Rebate Scam

I bought an Intuit Card Reader at the Verizon Store when I bought my iPhone. I had a $30 mail-in rebate. to calim the rebate, you have to sign up for service with Intuit, to use the card swiper. After some hassle, I signed up and mailed in for the rebate. After a couple of weeks, I received a message sying that my rebate request had been received and there was a link to check the status.
The staus of the rebate was that it was invalid because the UPC had not been included. This is false! I included he original UPC from the box the device came in and I kept a phoptocopy of it.
I can't find a way to contact Verizon at least to vent about this scam.
Anyhow, don't trust any Verizon mail-in rebate progarms.

For a 2nd opinion, I have always received my mail in rebates from Verizon, probably anywhere from 5-10 of them without any problems.
Luckily for you, you kept a photocopy of the UPC code. Did you also keep a copy of the rebate form? Is there not some type of contact where to get/send additional information?

Is there more than 1 code on the box? I have purchased several products with multiple bar codes on the box, which sometimes makes it unclear which is the correct code.

I don't know about Yahoo, but here are the setting to configure the Apple Mail application, with AOL mail.
-Account Type: IMAP
-Incoming Mail Server: imap.aol.com
-Outgoing Mail Server: smtp.aol.com:Your AOL Screenname Here
-Server Port: 587
You can also use the utility AOL® Service Assistant, which can be downloaded from this website AOL Macintosh Downloads.

Rebate for iPhone 4?

As all my fellow Verizon customers know, you usually receive a mail-in rebate when purchasing a new phone when renewing or signing up for a 2-year contract. Does anyone know if the iPhone 4 is elgible for any types of rebates? Or is the price just $199?

When I ordered my phone on Sept. 13th in a Verizon store, I had to ask the salesman how I went about getting the $200 rebate. He said shipping materials would come with the new phones. When I received the confirmation e-mail of my order, it contained a link for the rebate. Fortunately I clicked on the link, filled out the form online, and received the packing materials to send my phone in shortly after. My phones came in on Oct. 14th and I sent 3 of them back. So far I have received a gift card for $200 for 2 of the phones; the other is showing not received. I don't know what your situation is, but I think the promotion ended Oct. 15th. If I had listened to the salesman I think I would be out of luck as well. I hope I am wrong for your sake.

Vendor Rebate for Partial Settlement

Hi gurus,
I need your help, I am new with some part of the Rebate process and this is my case. I have a rebate agreement where the validity date is 01.01.2009 to 31.12.2009.
We have many POs, GRs and IVs for the Vendor assigned to this agreement and the rebate agreement have one condition record with many discounts (like 10) with the validity date 01.01.2009 to 31.12.2009.
I can see the POs where the discount was applied.
The situation is that I want to execute the partial settlement for this agreement FOR today, transaction MER4.
Then, in the "Settlement date" field I have selected = 31.03.2009 and
I have the option "Perform settlement accounting" selected too (it is in the Control data:settlement run section).
But, the system is telling me "No rebate arrangement chosen" and I know that I have Invoice Verifications made, why I cannot do a partial settlement?
Could you help me please?

I have one vendor for which we like to have vendor rebate for some specific materials.. The rebate is 10% of purchases, accrued monthly, receive quarterly and we like the moving average price should be reduced by the 10% rebate.

Rebates Processs in SAP is divided into three components
1) Configuring Rebates
2) Setting Up Rebates
3) Managing rebate agreeeements and payments
Pre-requsiistes- Check the following:
1.The payer partner needs toi have the rebate field checked in the customer master on the sales area-billing doc tab.
2.The Billing type must be marked as relevant for rebates.
3.The Sales Organisation must be marked as relevant for rebates.
Condition Technique :
Rebates, use the condition technique, but distinguish themselves from pricing in applying to transactions over time, versus on a transaction basis. Rebates have their wn field catalog and their own condition table naming convention.So you could have two condition table "001" one for pricing and one for rebates, which could have different key fields. You need to use the technical names A001 For pricing and KOTe001 for rebates when you use the query type using transaction SE 16..
Use create access sequence (AS). Enter 1 in field category for rebate specific. AS after going thru the right path of maintaining access sequence for rebates.
The big difference between the rebate and the pricing access sequence is that there is no exclsuion flag available for rebate related AS. This means multiple tables for an access sequence can be aplied at the same time.
Rebate related condition types are identified by codnition class -C.
After defining and creating condition types for rebated include them in the pricing proceedure. The requirement should be 24 here which implies that the accruals are calculated on the basis of invoice/bill.
The other fields- alctyp and altcbv does not allow you to manipulate how a rebate is calculated. Also, remove the requiremnt 24, if u want to see reabtes at order time.
Now payment of rebates:
Payments can be maunal or in full settlement. When you do manual payments, it defines how much can be paid out during a partial settlemetn. You use partial settlement only when rebate agreement is defined for a full year but the paoyouts are supposed to happen on a monthly, quarterly or anyother specified period.
These accurals are based on sales volume and when they are posted billing is created int eh follwoing manner. Provision for accruals is debited and Sales revenue is credited. When rebate credit memo is created
Customer account/ is debited and
Accrual provision account is credited.
Also, please note that when rebates are created without dependent ona material but on customer/material you need to refer to a material for settlement.
First of all rebates are more or less discounts which are offered to customers. The rebates are based on the volume of the business the customer does with you within a specified time. for eg if the customer agrees for Rs.1 Crore worth of business with u in 1 year, then you activate your rebate porocess. if at the end of the year the customer DOES achieve the target u offer him say 2/3/4 % whatever is decided. The rebates are passed on to the customer in the form of Credit notes.
The rebate can be given to the customer at one time or in installments also.
This is broadly the outline of the rebate process.
Note : I recomend you to study the theory part of why rebate and why not a discount.
This will help you understand better.

Type in the pricing procedure.(REQUIREMENT=24)
ALSO IN THE PROCEDURE- ACCRUAL KEY = ERU
YOU ALSO HAVE TO DO THE ACCOUNT DETERMINATION FOR REBATES.
Once you have defined all the 3 and assignment starts.
Assign the agreement type to the condition type group
Assign the cond type group to the condition type.
Condition technique is also used in rebates.
REBATE ACTIVATION- IN CUSTOMER MASTER, SALES ORGANISATION AND FOR THE BILLING DOCUMENT.
After having done this please proceed to maintain the condition record for the rebates (transaction code-vbo1)
Note: if you maintain the requirement coloumn with the requirement as 24 - the rebate will be affected in the billing document and if you dont give the requirement as 24 your rebate will be affected in the sales order.
The rebate process is completed when you have created a credit memo to the customer.
The document type for the partial settlement is R3.
Please make sure you open two screens SO THAT YOU CAN COMPARE THE NEW ENTRIES WHAT EVER YOU'RE DEFINING WITH THAT OF THE STANDARDS or first you try with the standard condition type boo1, boo2
boo3 boo4.
AFTER YOU HAVE FINISHED A COMPLETE SALES CYCLE OF CREATION ORDER , DELIVERY AND BILLING.
GO TO THE CONDITION RECORD IN CHANGE MODE (VB02) AND SETTLE THE ACCOUNT PARTIALLY.
In a simple way,
1. First you need to create a Rebate agreement.
2. Create condition record for rebate giving the rebate rate and accrual rate.
3. when the rebate relevent billing doc is generated, the rebate and accruals are determined and posted in a seperate GL account as a noted item - amount to be settled. Also it gets copied in the rebate agreement.
4. create settlement run using credit memo request and then credit memo to settle this amount with the customer.

Rebate for upgrading phone
