Printing Stage

Hello!
In the following of my previous project that i mention on my last post, i will need now to be able to print the elements contained on the stage (text input information given by the user combined with some text and images) on a format of a A4 letter. Does anyone knows which is the best way to achieve this? Do i need an extra for doing this?
Thank you very much in advance for your help!
Philippa

Hello Sean,
Thank you once again for your suggestion. I have been trying to understand how to install that Flash asset. Is it only pass the files to the xtras files where the Director is installed? And how do i use the code? Does it only work with flash elements inside director or does it work also with director text and stage images? I am sorry if this sounds like really basic questions but the truth is that i used to work with the first versions of Director a few years ago even before Director integrated Flash components so i am a little outdated with the newer versions.
Thank you very much again for your help and patience,
Philippa

    Hi Komal,
I can give very few important tips
    1. Pl chk with your company for the BBP Template and use that template
    2. Mention all the client requirements in BBP
    3. Mention the reports & smart forms required to develop
    4. If you come to know that some process is difficult to map in sap for safe side " use subject to technical exploratiom in sap" so that if you need to map that through devepolment. this will be useful for u
    5. be very specific and also in mirco level.
Hope this is useful reward if useful.

  • Printer & document disappear in adobe 11 at print stage

when printing in ADOBE 11, the document shows up, and when i hit the print icon, the printer start screen pops up and then both the document and the printer start screen vanish.  I am on a network printer, i have reinstalled drivers for the printer, i have uninstalled and reinstalled adobe 11, even downgraded it to adobe 10, (which worked for a while) but the updater installed ADOBE 11 and the problem is back.  I am on WINDOWS 7, and only one computer is affected, but i am now seeing a second computer affected by this issue.  any ideas?

I tried printing a simple PDF.
We couldn't print PDF's prior to the replacment of the printer, but I thought replacing the printer might help.
I have pulled some tech people here at the office to see if there is a common denominator between the computers and or the issues arising and nothing is coming up.
    This is just so odd.

  • Print files into/onto PDF template for proofing

    Hi,
I am hoping someone may be able to help.
I am wanting to set up several PDF templates that will range from A4 -SRA3. these PDF templates will be Proof Approval Templates. I then want to be able to send artwork to print from say InDesign but I want it to print into the PDF template. Hope that makes sense.
I would then end up with say a compliment slip artwork centred onto the Proof template enabling me to send out the proof.
How do I go about this or is it not something that can easily be done?
    Many thanks in advance.
    Jon

    Hi,
Thanks, I have been doing that but wanted to have something that could be done automatically by acrobat at the sending to print stage, my old company used to do it, but I never got to ask how...
Do you know of a way?

  • Help not locating printer profile

    2. Re: How to install Epson ICC profiles using Photoshop CC?
Mark Goodwin LRPS Aug 28, 2014 4:14 PM
I had a problem and needed to upload a HP Printer Profile.I down loaded it from the site then opened and placed in the Mac: Library/ColourSync/Profiles folder. I then restarted the computer and restored PS CC separately. I was able to find the profile under the View>Custom> drop down and select it. But when I came to the print stage the profile was not to be found in PD Print. I also trued installing the profile  via Username/Library?ColourSync?Profile folder. But still no luckHelp please?

I thought I had solved the problem when I came across a new HP App that specifically claimed to solve the problem people were having with iPrint: "HP ePrint Home & Biz", but that does not work either.  It gets as far as registering the App but then will not complete the verification (just will not open HP ePrintercenter.com).  But in that case I think the problem is that my printer (Photosmart C7280) does not have the eprint capability.  But it IS listed as compatible with the iPrint App (http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/ePrint-Print-Apps-Mobile/hp-iprint-app-help-not-finding-printer/m-p/827... )
    Must I give up?

  • Acrobat XI - print to PDF

I had tried Acrobat X but it was so unstable I figured I'd wait for XI. Now I am trying (and really want to buy) XI but it still seems to be so immature and unstable. I have 2 problems I could use help on if anyone would like to help.
My 1st problem, when printing to from different applications (MS Word, Firefox, etc) PDF, nothing ever happens other than it says it is spooling. Attempting to cancel the print fails. Attemps to delete the print job fails. Nothing short of rebooting will clear the print spooling logjam.
2nd problem, I have merged several medical forms into a single PDF (was warned I may loose duplicate named fields). I said OK. Then went to see which fields may have been "merged" so that I might fix them or add new fields to replace them. Now, Acrobat crashes whenever I try to edit or save that PDF. Also, when attempting to edit the forms, I can no longer see the list of form fields in the right-side pane.
    Windows XP Version 5.1.2600
    Adobe XI 11.0.1
Any help would sure be appreciated.

Here's an update. I changed the properties of the PDF printer by turning off print spooling so that it "Print directly to the printer." Now the software is hung in the printing stage. I have an Adobe dialog entitled "Creating Adobe PDF" in the title bar. The dialog message is "PDF Progress" and the name of the document being printed and a status bar that never gets beyond 3 bars. HELP please :)

Is AcroTray running in the background? Can you print to file using the Adobe PDF printer and open the file in Distiller to complete the conversion to PDF?

  • C309a DVD Printer WILL NOT PRINT!

Has anyone tried suing HP for false advertising? I certainly will be after purchasing this abortion of a printer.
**bleep** that sales rep! He told me this C309a would be the perfect printer for my needs. That is, it would print perfectly and directly onto my 100's of DVD's. With ease no less!
Bollox! I knew I should have got him to prove it.
OK, now for my technical issue:
My C309a won't print to CD/DVD. I'm running Win7, have ALL the HP downloads, use HP Essentials to set up the disc for printing and have gone into the printer settings to change preferences. In Essentials I've done exactly the same at the PRINT stage.
I've then opened the CD/DVD tray. I've followed the instructions on the little animation, I've clicked on PRINT and the stupid piece of plastic gives me
CD/DVD TRAY IS OPEN ---- PLEASE CLOSE TRAY TO CONTINUE PRINTING
I've spent hours and hours trying to sort this. I've downloaded God only knows how much software, programs and ruddy updates. So now I'm at the end of my tether. This really is the final option.
Surely, please God, there has to be just one. Single. Solitary person out there in our great big World. Just one who has a Hewlett Packard C309a that really and truthfully, in perfect detail, PRINTS DIRECTLY TO A DVD!!!!!!!!! There has to be one, doesn't there? Otherwise HP wouldn't be allowed to even mention these pieces of rubbish?
The problem is of course, besides the obvious one I've already described here, is that the only consumers who come in to this HP Forum, are those with similar problems as myself and all they'll do is shake their heads, sigh deeply and say knowingly to themselves........... "I know exactly how the poor bugger feels"
Which is sad for me I guess because I guarantee NO ONE from HP will offer a solution to this that a) Works b) Doesn't require me to upgrade my whole system around there crap and c) Is just plain simple.
No, what I will get though are heaps of pop up messages asking me to fill in a form. I'll get pop up requests from HP every single bloody time I turn on my computer asking if I want to do a daily update, even though I specifically checked the NO DAILY UPDATES box during setup.
*sigh* I'm bone weary of all this, I really am, I just want a quiet life and to be able to print with a machine that says 'Printer' on the side of it. Either that HP or give me my money back, plus the cost of extra ink, plus my lost hours and the cost of the valium I'm now taking.
GOD **bleep** YOU HEWLETT PACKARD!!! GOD **bleep** YOU ALL TO HELL!!!!!
    (Apologies to Charlton Heston)
    Footnote
I had to add this because it's just so funny and typical of HP. Even the daft Spell Checker on here wanted to replace C309a with Acacia BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Hi I now have the same problem having downloaded Windows 7. This is the only option that will not work. Everything was fine on Vuse. I telephoned a help line number that HP gave, it was a tech doc, I paid £21 and was told to install new version of HP Photosmart, which I did, and guess what!! yes you've guessed correctly there is nothing on the Photosmart for dvd/cd covers or direct printing to dvd/cd. The only one that does that one that does that is photosmart 3.5. HP are very unhelpful and Microsoft as usual to not talk to other manufacturers when designing their Windows.
If any one out there knows how to solve this problem please help.
The only solution I have is that I use my laptop which still has Vuse on it, and I use that to print by wireless onto the printer for DVD's etc. Not very satisfactory but at least it solves the problem.

  • Hiding the table grid in Appleworks 6 so they don't print

I created a handy layout grid for my pix and text, now can't get rid of the ugly table borders for printing it out. It surely must be possible...or should I be using something else to create a layout for a page?
I searched on this topic and found some extremely complicated workarounds, also the suggestion of turning off cells in "Options". On my Appleworks, there is no "Options"!
I'm sure this must be possible but its not in Help or obvious in any of the menus.

I created a handy layout grid for my pix and text, now can't get rid of the ugly table borders for printing it out. It surely must be possible ....
I'm sure it probably is, but first you have to make clear how you created your "handy layout grid".
I'm just guessing, from your use of 'cells' and 'Options', that you might have done this in a Spreadsheet. Using that as a page layout tool is, if you'll pardon me, a very Windoze- and Excel-centric way of doing things* but if that's where you are, that's where you are.
Assuming I know what you might actually mean when you say "ugly table borders", you do that at the printing stage itself. Look in the Print dialogue, specifically in the settings scrollwheel menu, and open it up at Appleworks. If you're trying to print a SS file you will see the way to turn off row/col headings and so forth and so on.
*I find it much simpler to simply use Frames to construct & place things as I want.

  • Prints too dark and contrasty when printing from IDCS3 to Canon IP4000 inkjet printer

I have a problem with colours when printing from IDCS3 onto a Canon IP4000 inkjet printer and Ilford Galarie smooth pearl paper. I cannot find a solution to it or maybe I am not looking for the right search terms. Maybe someone can help me here.
I am using IDCS3 on a Mac G5 PPC with 2Ghz dual processors running OS 10.4.11. I have an Eizo ColorEdge CE210w monitor which I profile regularly with a Gretag Macbeth eye-one device.
I have designed a 50 page document with about 200 images. Now when I print from IDCS3 the images are too dark and very contrasty. But when I print the same image from Photoshop CS3 the print is fine.
I have been using the canned ICC profile from Ilfords website.
The one difference was that in Photoshop I had a choice of rendering intent in the print dialogue which I set to relative colorimetric. (I have subsequently found that I have the choice of rendering intents in ID if I select each image and change the RI before I get to the print stage which can be a pain)
I would appreciate your help with this as I do not really want to redesign the layout in Photoshop all over again.
    Thank you in advance.

You can change overall rendering intents for each document under Edit/Assign Profiles.

  • Adjusting ordered Print quantity based on total ordered (for production setup extras)

Hi, We have orders that are placed online in an XMPie uStore and sent hands off to different printers. What production has asked for is to automatically adjust the quantities based on binding and total number ordered. So for example and order of 175 spiral books require an extra 2 copies for setup and another order for 725 copies requires 4 for setup. Production would like the files to arrive at the machine already programmed for 177 and 729. I can see that I can setup a Routing Process based on quantity. Is there anyway that I can modify the quantity at the final print stage node after routing them? Without affecting other parts of the Job ticket such as sides printed, exception pages and so on?

FreeFlow Core would typically use the job ticket as submitted. We do adjust ticketing based on workflow processing. However, that does not include arbitrary adjustments (adjustments based on things that are outside of the FFCore job processing) such as the one below. That said, the External component will execute anything that can be invoked from the CLI.As such, you could write a small script to adjust the print ticket per your requirements just before printing (the $FFxpf$ variable is the URI for the internal job ticket). You can reuse the external node configuration in all your workflows.

  • Footer won't print

I am a new user of pages, and quite frankly, very frustrated with it. I am proficient in MSPublisher, and could have this project I'm currently working on completed a hundred times over in the time I have been working on this one project.
I am now at the printing stage...FINALLY....and my footers won't print. They are present in print preview, but when the paper spits out of the printer, there are NO FOOTERS!!! In layout view they are greyed out, but when layouts are hidden, they are visible and "manipulatable" (that is my own word) :o)
    HELP!! PLEASE!!

    Hello pentimento,
when you click on the first tab (the empty document) of the infopanel and then the "Document" button below on the left side, you have six number input fields inside the second section. With the two at the bottom, you can adjust the distances of the header and of the footer from the corresponding document borders.

  • Hangs while printing in OS X

Everything is running up-to-date. Yep, i restarted the computer, and the printer, and deleted and reinstalled reader (although some settings appeared unchanged).
When i try to print from reader or the safari plug-in, the application hangs for a minute or two, then the job shows up in the printer dialogue box (the one that appears in the dock) and says it is 'printing' although nothing happens. Other applications can still print normally, so it's not the printer. This worked fine just the other day (in reader) and I can't think of any reason why it would be working differently since then.
    Thoughts?

Yeah specifically when I went to print with the reinstalled version of Reader, the print settings were the same as I had been using before, which were definitely not the default ones. The process seems to stall out at the "connecting to printer" stage in the (separate) printer dialogue that appears in dock.
Any ideas? I can print from other applications obviously, but I'm trying to print a pdf as a booklet, which I don't have anything else that can do that.

  • Is there a driver/profile for the Robox 3D printer?

We have a few 3D printers in the office and we're currently experimenting with Photoshop output.
We have compared the STL outputs from PS for different printers and results are interestingly different - especially on the corners of small items.
It seems that there are varying amounts of thickness added for different printers - we're guessing that this is PS dealing with problems that some printers have.
The Robox seems to be making headlines as the best printer (for home use) so I would expect to see it supported soon by PS.
We're still having issues with quality - especially with rafts bending during the print stage.
It would be interesting to see if an STL from Photoshop would exhibit the same problems.
So .... is there a Robox driver/profile?   I have searched and cannot find it
Also I don't see Form1 on the list. Is this supported?
This is not the best printer we have but would still like to compare the results from PS.
It's a good printer but inconsistent results, with heavier items sagging during printing and often inaccurate dimensions to finished items.
    Thanks

This may not be any help at all, and you have probably already seen them, but there are a couple of relevant titles on Adobe TV
    https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/how-to/photoshop-print-3d.html
    https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/how-to/prepare-print-3d.html
Either way, this is a new and interesting feature for Photoshop, and I'm sure a lot of people here would be interested in how you get on, so please come back and let us know.
    Good luck.
