Problem in ALV (FI_ITEMS_DISPLAY)

Hi all....
My requirement is to add a fields LFA1_NAME1 to the Vendor history report (Main program is rfitemap)(Tcode is FBL1N)
i copied this program in to a z program.There is a FM called FI_ITEMS_DISPLAY, an internal table is passed (IT_POS)into this so that it populates the ALV.internal table IT_POS is of type a standard structure rfposxext.i was able to get fetch the value of LFA1-NAME1 and pass it into IT_POS.
MY problem is this....
when i execute the program my ALV list does not having the field NAME1.i did created the field catalog properly.
Field Name1 is hidden...so,i went to the layout and brought it to the display.Im gettin the field label NAME1. but my column is empty...ie., my values are not populating in to the field NAME1.
(i even tried to copy the function group and modifying the copied standard structure)...nothin works.
Any help to solve this problem will be HIGHLY appreciated...

Ok then check then chk the field catlog.
eg
it shuld be the same name as like interal table field declaration name
fieldcatalog-fieldname = 'NAME1'. "<b>caps and correct Spelling</b>
fieldcatalog-seltext_m = 'Name'.

I have a problem with ALV Grid User Command?

Hi Experts,
I have a problem with ALV GRID User Command.
I am calling TCODE IW33 (Order Display) from the ALV output at first time by selecting an order. But, User command is calling IW33 Initial screen with blank value of order. Even I checked in debugging the value what I selected is passing properly, but once that screen (IW33 Initial) displays, value doesn't appear. Then, Manually, I created another session and gone to TCODE IW33 and displayed an order. After that I came out from that order. Then again run my ALV program and selected another order, now order is displaying, but not what I selected current order instead of displaying previous order what I just displayed manually. If I selected any other order, system will display the same order what I dislayed manually.
Here is my code.

Please check it once the Paramater ID is 'ANR' for IW33 order number.

Problem with ALV grid in edit mode

Hello, gurus!
I have a problem with ALV-grid. Sometimes when I call F4 help for a cell, data is inserted in a different cell. And when I call check_changed_data method, my internal table (passed to ALV-control in set_table_for_first_display) does not updates properly. In what can be a problem?

Background task problem with alv grid display

I have a problem when executing my program in background.
In foreground I have no problem, my ALV appears. In the background I have a dump.
The current ABAP program "SAPLKKBL" had to be terminated because one of the statements could not be executed.

From the settings link I am applying filter on column col_C and selected multiple values say 'pqr', 'xyz' and 'lmn'.
Now the ALV is showing rows only for last selection i.e . results are fetched only for value 'lmn'.
i.e. after applying the filter the ALV table looks as below:
col_A---- col_B -
col_C
3----
c -
lmn
But ideally it should be:
col_A---- col_B -
col_C
2----
b -
pqr
3----
c -
lmn
4----
d -
xyz
I could not find any OSS note related to this issue.
Please help me resolve this issue.

Problem with ALV search help Dictionary Search Help

Hello experts
I have a problem with ALV search help.
I use DDIC table ZXXX with text table ZXXX_T. I created DDIC search help form table ZXXX. In my WD application, in context on COMPONENTCONTROLLER i set on attribute: 'Input help mode' as 'Dictionary Search Help' and in 'Dictionary Search Help' I pass name of new created DDIC search help.
I create a input field from that atrribute and search help works fine (there was a value and description for value from text table). So I created ALV witch contains that attribute too.
Next I set column for this attribute in ALV as editable but on Serch help for this collumn I have only value. I DON'T HAVE TEXT DESCRIPTION FOR VALUE.
Please help me and tell me what I do wrong?

Thank's for your help. I create DDic Search help for all fields from my ALV. Next I changed 'TYPE' for all ALV fields in COMPONENTCONTROLLER from ZXXX-Zfield to Zfield, and I changed 'Input help mode' from 'Automatic' to 'Dictionary Search Help'. Now I see Value and Description for value in Search Help in my ALV.

Hii Nick, in your program I found that you have created only one fieldcat structure, actually we need 2 structures one is for workarea and one for body.
like this
It_Fieldcat type SLIS_T_FIELDCAT_ALV
Is_Fieldcat type SLIS_FIELDCAT_ALV
now you can write the code
LOOP AT It_FIELDCAT into Is_Fieldcat.
CASE Is_FIELDCAT-FIELDNAME
WHEN 'MESSWERT'.
Is_FIELDCAT-ROW_POS = 1.
Is_FIELDCAT-SEL_L = '1111'.
Is_FIELDCAT-SEL_M = '1111'.
Is_FIELDCAT-SEL_S = '1111'.
APPEND Is_FIELDCAT to It_Fieldcat.
clear Is_Fieldcat.
Is_FIELDCAT-ROW_POS = 2
Is_FIELDCAT-SEL_L = text-004.
Is_FIELDCAT-SEL_M = text-004.
Is_FIELDCAT-SEL_S = text-004.
APPEND Is_FIELDCAT to It_Fieldcat.
Clear Is_Fieldcat.

Problems with ALV - Excel after changing from 640 to 710

Hi all,
first i have to say, that i have tried to set this thread in the SAPGUI-Forum,
but i didn't get any answers, therefore i try it here.
I have changed our SAPGUI from 640 to 710. Now i get problems
with ALV-GRID display.
When i change the output to EXCEL-Inplace i get the Error-Message:
0K000
View cannot be switched: Product is not installed or integration is not active.
In 640 i don't have any problems. We have ECC6.
When i use GUI710 and SAP 4.6C i don't have any problems.
Simple Test is possible with SE16N and change ALV output to excel-inplace.
Can anybody help?

in Service.sap.com there is the first patch-level of the new GUI7.10.
i have install it without any problems.
The problem i had with excal-inplace is solved.

Problem while alv grid display exporting to excel sheet

Hi,
I have done an ALV report using reuse_alv_grid _display , out put is fine , but when i click on excel view icon i could only see an excel sheet without any data ., but when i use export to local file and choose spread sheet its giving the data in excel, but the user wants to click only the excel view icon.

Importing problems in alv report (stored versions)

HI ALL, i have;
DATA gt_results TYPE sp_data_type OCCURS 0 WITH HEADER LINE .
FORM X .
EXPORT gt_results TO DATABASE sp_ver_dat ID INDXKEY.
ENDFORM .
FORM Y .
IMPORT gt_results FROM DATABASE sp_ver_dat ID INDXKEY.
ENDFORM .
I coded this for storing alv datas as a version . Suppose i executed "form x" in 2008. After 1 year later, i would like to see this 2008 record. But my internal table type (sp_data_type) was changed (This change is obligatory). In example new 2 fields were added and 1 field was deleted. In spite of this, i have an error when i am attempting to run "form y" because clustered data in database does not fit gt_results anymore.
How can i run such old stored versions of this alv report? How should i design this subroutines so there will be no problems even if internal table type frequently change in future..?
I am expecitng your suggestions..

I think this is good solution for the versions which we will be created . Unfortunately there is no way to save (excute) old versions in which structure of internal table has changed many times. We have to handle them manually..
It means, we can save future but not past..

Problems in ALV Report

Hi all,
I have a Problem with the ALV report felated to FI Data. Where in the Selection screen I have two fields Commitment Item, Fund Center and Fiscal Year. When i am executing the report it is printing correctly.
The Problem is that when i give a commitment which is not related to the Fund Center It is displaying all the records.
That is nothing but it is displaying all the data where the data of the selection screen is not in the internal table.
instead i should display a message that the Commitment item is not related to Fund Center. and the ALV Should not print any values. How do i achieve this?
Please help me in solving the problem. Rewards will be awarded.

Problem in ALV Top of Page

Hi All,
I am having a ALV report .Once i execute the report there will be ALV output once i click on the Material no((Hot spot)) in the output it ll take to the another ALV report.The problem is how to get the top of page in the second alv...The top of page in the second ALV should be different..
Is it possible to do this?Pls reply asap.

Problem in alv report output

Hi friends,
i have created alv report .no problem of getting output . but i m getting question mark in the standard menu. it is displaying 10 question mark (sub menu has print preview etc), edit ,question marks(ABC Analysis) ,question marks (abap list viewer etc ), settings ,system , help.
i don't want these question marks. how to candle this.i haven't moved to test or production , but iwant to know in development why it is coming..

The Problem is with some GUI inconsistency.
to overcome there are 2 solutions.
1. You need to run a program Which i don't remember exactly.
2. Using the Status event.
