Problem in deploy application to web

I'm now migrating the Forms4.5 to Forms6.0. My current application has already deploy in the internet by using OAS in NT4.0 and JInit 1.1.7.11. And then now I try to convert all the forms from 4.5 to 6 and deploy it to internet. But I got the problem.
My configuration is
NT4 (sp4)
JInit 1.1.7.15
IIS 4
PII - 64M Ram
I.E 4
1.The problem is "Failed to open file <path>" the <path> is correct but I have tried to hard code the path in the html file. it doesn't work also.
2. And then, in the task manager in NT, I find that there are two file once I started the Form 6 Listener ifsvr60.exe, ifweb60.exe.
As I know, the ifweb60 represent the concurrent connection of each user.
Does anyone give the suggestions or ideas for me, then I can successful to implement ASAP.
Thank you very much

Maybe you're missing a library file that is attached to the form.
The other thing with the processes, ifsrv60 is the server process - this is always there, the other process is the running server process for the connected user

  • Problem while deploying application in web logic

    Hi,
i have an web application with servlets running fine in tomcat 5.1.12, but when i copy the same foldet to web logic and i run i gives an error, i create a domain of my name, and i kept the folder in weblogic, user _projects--> applications folder, but while accessing from the browser i got an error. so please rectify my error.
    Babji..

I don't use web logic so I can't help you. But if you post whatever error message you are referring to into your thread, someone who uses web logic might have a better idea as to how to respond. Additionally I suspect there may be some differences in the configuration settings between Tomcat and web logic, you might look into that. But I have no idea.

Thank you once again Jay.  That corrected my problem.  I actually put the libraries in autodeploy\pentaho.ear\lib directory and it seemed to correct it.  I have another problem that I am unsure how to fix.  It is defined below.  The file that these errors are referring to ("applicationContext-spring-security.xml") is also posted below.  Any ideas what might be causing this issue?

  • Problem running javafx application in web browser

The application runs fine when i build it in netbeans and run it. but when i try running it in a web browser, it displays a blank square!
the following is the html page that netbeans generated:
    <html>
    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">
    <title>tasklistinbrowser</title>
    </head>
    <body>
    <h1>tasklistinbrowser</h1>
    <script src="http://dl.javafx.com/1.3/dtfx.js"></script>
    <script>
    javafx(
    archive: "tasklistinbrowser.jar",
    width: 1000,
    height: 1000,
    code: "tasklistinbrowser.Main",
    name: "tasklistinbrowser"
    </script>
    </body>
</html>does anyone know where i'm going wrong?

I also have a problem when trying to run my application in a browser. (running with netbeans works)
    Only a grey shape appears.
But it seems to be a problem with the application itself, because other applications can be run in my browser without any problems.
    any ideas? thanks

  • Problem running JavaFX application as web applet / web start

    Hi All,
I need to run a JavaFX application as applet in a web page. To do that I use the html page
generated by javafxpackager and all works fine if I launch the html page locally from my
pc but when I load the html page from web server the application runs slow till freezing the browser.
All jars are signed with a self-signed certificate, I've tried with Firefox, Chrome, IE and different servers.
Same problem with web start (jnlp), locally works fine, launched from web it freezes.
Enabling Java Console I've noticed a lot of log like:

    Thank you

    Some more info,
I watched the web server logs and I found many repeated log entries like
    "GET /applet/myapplet.html/META-INF/services/javax.xml.stream.XMLInputFactory HTTP/1.1" 404 19023 "-" "Mozilla/4.0 (Windows 7 6.1) Java/1.7.0_09"
Googling this I've found many posts regarding similar problems:
    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7997566/web-service-client-applet-keeps-asking-for-meta-inf-services-javax-xml-ws-sp
    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2340969/applet-served-by-java-web-start-resources-requested-to-web-server-before-look-i
It seems to be a strange Behaviour of the JNLPClassLoader that tries to load classes from server instead from jar or local class path.
Somebody suggests to remove all logging entries from code or to add "codebase_lookup = false" to applet parameters but this does not solve the problem.
I use FXML to define my UI and I think that every time an fxml is loaded JNLPClassLoader tries to load the xml parser (javax.xml.stream.XMLInputFactory)
    from server.
    Somebody have any idea?
    Thank you.

  • Problems with deploying ODAC to web server

I have a ASP.NET 4.0 MVC application using Entity Framework and ODAC r4 11.2.0.3.0. I have Oracle 10g client installed on the server (2003) already. I installed the 32-bit ODAC 4 XCopy deployment to the server using the batch file. So I have two Oracle installs on the computer.
    c:\oracle\ora10g\
    c:\oracle\odac11g32\
The odac11g32 isn't in the PATH environment variable, and because I have a bunch of web apps using the 10g driver now I don't want to disturb them (if I add the bin directory to the PATH env variable, it breaks my existing apps for some reason).
So I read that I can use the DllPath variable in the web.config file..
    +<add name="DllPath" value="C:\Oracle\odac11g32\bin"/>+
I added it along with all the other variables I've seen in the examples, but I still am getting an error when I try to run the application...

I used Process Explorer to make sure it was loading the correct DLL from the GAC and there is no oracle.dataaccess.dll in the BIN directory of my application. I used Dependency Walker to make sure that all the supporting DLLs work for the DLL mentioned in the error message (I got an error with shlwapi.dll but the DW docs say thats not an issue because its delay-load or something like that).

  • Problem undeploying/deploying application through command line

Apologies for the newbie question - I've already trawled through the
online help, but to no avail.
I'm trying to uninstall an earlier .ear file and installing a newer
one - however, the code below in my batch file doesn't work:
java weblogic.Deployer -user admin -password holland
    C:\bea\user_projects\hypotheekplanner\woscb.ear -name woscb -targets
    woscb.ear@wos -undeploy
    wzunzip -o C:\distribution\woscb.ear C:\distribution\war
    wzunzip -o C:\distribution\war\woscb.war C:\distribution\ear
    copy /y C:\distribution\web_xml\woscb\web.xml C:\distribution\ear
    del /Q C:\distribution\war\woscb.war
    wzzip C:\distribution\war\woscb.war C:\distribution\ear\*.*
    wzzip C:\bea\user_projects\hypotheekplanner\woscb.ear
    C:\distribution\war\woscb.war
    del /Q C:\distribution\war\*.*
    del /Q C:\distribution\ear\*.*
java weblogic.Deployer -user admin -password holland -stage -source
    C:\bea\user_projects\hypotheekplanner\woscb.ear -name woscb -targets
    woscb.war@wos -deploy
Note that the whole unzip/zip operation is for making sure the
application properties (as defined in web.xml) do not have to be
    adjusted through the console panel.
So what am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance for any pointers,
    Martin

    Martin:
Ok, so your going to use batch........ I am not sure how much community your
going to get around this, not because people don't want to help but because
95% of all java projects use ANT to do this very thing, there just isn't a
knowledge base around using batch and commandline winzip tools. Writing
"scripts" that automate deployment is a "good thing", its just that the tool
of choice for most of the community is ANT, not batch.
So consequently I am having a little bit of a hard time trying to follow
what your are attempting to do.
java weblogic.Deployer -user admin -password holland
    C:\bea\user_projects\hypotheekplanner\woscb.ear -name woscb -targets
woscb.ear@wos -undeployAre you specifying targets because you really do in this case have more than
one target (wos) defined? Additionally the syntax of "<component>@<server
N>>" only applies to components INSIDE an ear, if your deploying/undeploy
the entire ear you don't need the component, all you need is "-targets wos".
Perhaps attaching your config.xml will help.
    Can you restate your goal?
Is it to update the settings of web.xml in a war that is in an ear and
redeploy? You don't have to do an undeploy to achieve this, just
a -deploy(-activate) will work on an existing deployment, if the application
is already deployed, it -deploy/-activate will do a re-deploy/activate.
I really dont follow this at all not being familiar with wzunzip.
    >
wzunzip -o C:\distribution\woscb.ear C:\distribution\warWhy are you unzipping the contents of .ear into the directory war?
wzunzip -o C:\distribution\war\woscb.war C:\distribution\earWhy are you unzipping the contents of .war into the directory ear?
    copy /y C:\distribution\web_xml\woscb\web.xml C:\distribution\ear
    del /Q C:\distribution\war\woscb.war
    wzzip C:\distribution\war\woscb.war C:\distribution\ear\*.*
    wzzip C:\bea\user_projects\hypotheekplanner\woscb.ear
C:\distribution\war\woscb.warWhat is this line c:\distribution\war\woscb.war doing? is this something
meant to be on the previous line?
    del /Q C:\distribution\war\*.*
    del /Q C:\distribution\ear\*.*
java weblogic.Deployer -user admin -password holland -stage -source
    C:\bea\user_projects\hypotheekplanner\woscb.ear -name woscb -targets
woscb.war@wos -deployHere the component would be necessary/required/useful since the war file is
    what your trying to update.
Why are you using -stage is this because the server "wos" is a managed
server, if so -stage is the default for managed servers and uncessary. If
you only have one server and it is "wos", then it is the admin server and
you dont want to pass -stage.
To help this all out a small, isolated, simplified, reproducible test case
    might help.
Something along the lines of an examples.zip I can download and do:
    1) cd /temp
    2)jar xvf example.zip
    3) cd user_projects\
    4) deploy.bat (which deploys test.ear)
-I can go hit the web-app in the browser to "see" something in web.xml that
    is the first version.
    5) update.bat (which attempts to update the web.xml in the webapp and
    redeploy)
-I can go hit the web-app in the browser to "see" something in web.xml that
    is the updated version.
I could cook this up in ANT, but that wont help you. ;)
    cheers

It doesn't work in that it doesn't deploy the new ear file - contained
therein is a version.html file with the build number, if I look up the
file in a browser it shows up the old build number instead of the
build number of the file I just tried to deploy. So why?
And we prefer to do it batchwise, and we're not going to switch to 8.1
    anytime soon.
    Martin
Ok, so the next question is why doesnt it work? What is the error/stack
    trace?
As a suggestion I would reccomend using ANT vs. batch files.
And 8.1 has a lot of new stuff to help you out.
    Cheers

Lets start with what version of WLS are you using? 7.0 or 8.1?

Apologies for the newbie question - I've already trawled through
    the
online help, but to no avail.
I'm trying to uninstall an earlier .ear file and installing anewer
one - however, the code below in my batch file doesn't work:
java weblogic.Deployer -user admin -password holland
    C:\bea\user_projects\hypotheekplanner\woscb.ear -namewoscb -targets
    woscb.ear@wos -undeploy
    wzunzip -o C:\distribution\woscb.ear C:\distribution\war
    wzunzip -o C:\distribution\war\woscb.war C:\distribution\ear
    copy /y C:\distribution\web_xml\woscb\web.xml C:\distribution\ear
    del /Q C:\distribution\war\woscb.war
    wzzip C:\distribution\war\woscb.war C:\distribution\ear\*.*
    wzzip C:\bea\user_projects\hypotheekplanner\woscb.ear
    C:\distribution\war\woscb.war
    del /Q C:\distribution\war\*.*
    del /Q C:\distribution\ear\*.*
java weblogic.Deployer -user admin -passwordholland -stage -source
    C:\bea\user_projects\hypotheekplanner\woscb.ear -namewoscb -targets
    woscb.war@wos -deploy
Note that the whole unzip/zip operation is for making sure the
application properties (as defined in web.xml) do not have to be
    adjusted through the console panel.
So what am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance for any pointers,
    Martin

  • Deployment of JavaFX Web application on client machine(Windows OS.)

    Problem Statement:
Deployment of JavaFX Web application on client machine(Windows OS.)
Error: unable to load the native libarary(JNI Windows dll) i.e. throws java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError exception.
    Problem Description:
I have create the JavaFX application which have dependency on Native library written in Java Native Interface(JNI).
When the application is deployed on Apache 6.0 Tomcat Server(Copied .html file *.jnlp file and .jar file) and when client machine hit the html page in internet explorer version 8.0 its throws the following error(java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no JNIHelloWorld in java.library.path)
    Note:
I have created the jar file which have my "JNIHelloWorld' native library dll in root directory. I have signed the jar with same signature which i have used for signing for my application Jar file.
I have mentioned the native library jar in JNLP file resource keyword as follows:

    No problem.
Make sure your resources are set at the proper location. Could be that tje jni.jar is under a 'lib' folder?
Normally you don't have to worry about deployment a lot if you are using like Netbeans 7.2 or higher.
When you press 'Clean and build' it creates your deployed files in the 'dist' folder.
You can change specification by adapting the build.xml file.
Of course lot of different possibilities are available for deployment!
You can find lot of info here:
Important to know is if you want to work with
    - a standalone application (self-contained or not)
    - with webstart
    - or with applets
(In my case I'm using webstart, but also Self-Contained Application Packaging (jre is also installed!)

  • Problem in running application(using ADF) on BEA Weblogic Server

    Hi..,
I am Gunardy Sutanto from Indonesia. Currently, I had a problem in deploying application which is using ADF framework in BEA Weblogic Server(WLS 8.1). I also add all the libraries which were required for running this application. But I found some error when I ran this application. About the error message that I found from log file which is generated by BEA Weblogic Server 8.1, herewith I attach the detail of the error message :

Generally we get this error when we did not packaged properly, like if use
tool win zip for packaging the bean.
    1. when you are building EJB jar, please make sure that you have created a
directory "META-INF" with upper case letters
    2. Make sure that you have deployment descriptors in 'META-INF".
    3. Use Command line console, java command to package the bean like
    "jar -cv0f".
ignore this mail, if you already done this way.

When I try to deploy some EJBs I get this error on startup:
    <error>
Thu Nov 07 12:59:31 CST 2002:<E> <EJB> Could not deploy:
    'C:\apps\web\weblogic\mycluster\lib\ErfpLibrary.jar': file is not a
valid jar file, or does not contain a valid bean
    </error>
    here's the full error output:
Any ideas on what's missing here?
