Problem in DII client while using custome type

Hi All,
I am accessing a webservice using JAX-RPC DII cleint. Webserviuce is deployed on a websphere app server 6.0
In Webservice i have 1 complextype called Address.
When i try to call the webservice and try to pass the complex type as parameter to web service i get deserialization error for complexType.
I tried to register it using TypeMappingRegistry but again iam getting
exception like "you can't modify default typemapping".
here is my code
public class DIITip implements SerializerConstants {
public static void main(String args[]) {
try {
QName serviceName = new QName("http://localhost:9080/AddressBookService/services/AddressBook/wsdl/AddressBook.wsdl","AddressBookService");
ServiceFactory factory = ServiceFactory.newInstance();
Call call = service.createCall();
QName operationName = new QName("http://addr","setAddressFromName");
call.setOperationName(operationName);
// The input parameter
call.addParameter(
"arg_0_1", // parameter name
QNAME_TYPE_CPLX_TYPE, // parameter XML type QName
Address.class, // parameter Java type class
ParameterMode.IN); // parameter mode
// The return
call.setReturnType(XMLType.XSD_BOOLEAN);
// The operation is an RPC-style operation.
call.setProperty(Call.OPERATION_STYLE_PROPERTY,"rpc");
call.setProperty(Call.ENCODINGSTYLE_URI_PROPERTY,"http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/");
call.setTargetEndpointAddress("http://localhost:9080/AddressBookService/services/AddressBook");
               Address addr = new Address();
               addr.setStreetName("Jogesh");
               addr.setCity("Puri");
               addr.setState("Orisaa");
     TypeMappingRegistry registry = service.getTypeMappingRegistry();
     TypeMapping mapping2 = registry.getTypeMapping("");
     TypeMapping typeMapping = registry.getTypeMapping(SOAPConstants.URI_ENCODING);
QName type = new QName("http://addr", "Address");
CombinedSerializer serializer = new addr.Address_SOAPSerializer(type,
ENCODE_TYPE, NULLABLE, SOAPConstants.NS_SOAP_ENCODING);
serializer = new ReferenceableSerializerImpl(SERIALIZE_AS_REF, serializer);
registerSerializer(typeMapping,addr.Address.class, type, serializer);
// Invoke the operation
Object[] actualArgs = {addr};
Boolean obj = (Boolean) call.invoke(actualArgs);
               if (null!= obj)
                    System.out.println(obj.getStreetName()+" "+obj.getCity()+" "+obj.getState());
               }else
                    System.out.println("Obj is null");
catch (Throwable t) {
t.printStackTrace();
private static void registerSerializer(TypeMapping mapping, Class javaType, QName xmlType,
Serializer ser) {
mapping.register(javaType, xmlType, new SingletonSerializerFactory(ser),
new SingletonDeserializerFactory((Deserializer)ser));
Anybody know how to register/use complext type while using DII client
Many thanks for any help offered.
capri

Hey Capri,
did you solved your problem?
I' am also looking for a solution to add complex Types.
I use webservices with apache axis. There I don't have to add the parameter to the call object. In the server-config.wsdd, there are all information about the complex type. So I only have to invoke webservice with my object.
But now I want to invoke a BPEL-Process as webservice. I think at this term I have to add the parameter to the call object.

kirie

    May be the cause for this is :
    1) The Wrong URL  format
    2) CLASSPATH is not setted properly..
    Can you look more into this stuff.
    Thanks,

    Hi,
    To access any database fromm XI, using the JDBC adapter, the corresponding drivers have to be installed on the XI server.
    Just check this note 831162.
    Also, check this PDF to install Drivers in XI,

  • Problem in reports 6i  while using delimiter option.

    Hi,
    I am facing problem in report writer while using delimiter option.
    Report summary
    ==============
    In my report I am having two queries in data model and two different repeating frame for each in layout.
    These quires are called based on the user parameter. That means if user parameter is 1 then query 1 is called and the report is kick off and same for query 2 when user parameter is 2).
    Problem Encountered
    =================
    Both these reports are running fine while using pdf option to generate report .
    While using delimiter option only one of the query is able to generate report (based on which ever is created first and rest will give 0 byte file).
    I have also trapped it while using messages and it is logically flowing fine.
    I think report writer does not support such scenario.
    please expedite on this.
    thankx
    peyush

    Hi,
    There are no such limitations with Reports. If I understand properly, you run the Report twice, in each run, you are trying to execute different query, and you generate two dilimited Reports output files? This should work fine. Try out the latest Reports 6i patch-10 for this. You can even approach Oracle Support with your testcase. FYI, with Reports 6i patch-11, a new feature "dlimited data" is introduced which will give delimited output with a data dump i.e it would not be dependent upon the Reports layout. You can probably try out this new feature also.
    Thanks,
    Rohit Hi Rohit,
    Thanks for the information.
    well I am generating single output file on each run .
    the problem is somewhat funny.
    I have build query2 in data model after query1.
    query 1 is giving me correct output both in .PDF and delimiter version.
    But query2 is giving me 0 byte file for delimiter version although in .PDF it is running fine.
    When I took out query2 to another module it is running fine for both.
    I hope this make sense.
    Moreover if u still not clear about the problem and thinks that u can help me out please send me ur mail id so that I can send you the RDF copy.
    Thanks

    For others who might have had to face the same problem, let me tell them the problem that i had... i ll b happy if it helps someone ...
    The issue was improper privleges of the Nested Types in the schema to which my server was connecting. Once proper privelges were given, everything started working just fine ...

  • Problems running DII client for consuming webservices

    Hello webservices experts,
    am running into problems - when I try running my DII client for a webservice that I've successfully deployed on j2sdkee1.4.
    The exception goes like this
    java.rmi.RemoteException: JAXRPC.JAXRPCSERVLET.28: Missing port information
         at com.sun.xml.rpc.client.dii.BasicCall.invoke(BasicCall.java:462)
    I've searched this forum and others as well. Although a lot of people seem to be having this problem nobody seems to have got it solved. Any way out? The client is a mere copy paste of the DII client example in j2eetutorial 1.4

    Solved it ! Some endpoint alias problem during deployment ! Now works fine !

  • Error while using custom xslt: Cannot find the script or external object that implements prefix 'ScriptNS0'.

    Hi,
    We had a complex map. Because of some requirement, we used custom xslt on this map. Somehow at runtime that custom xslt is giving below error:
    Cannot find the script or external object that implements prefix 'ScriptNS0'.
    I checked below links, it seems this is a bug in Biztalk 2010/Visual stuio 2010.
    http://sandroaspbiztalkblog.wordpress.com/2012/07/29/biztalk-mapper-patterns-calling-an-external-assembly-from-custom-xslt-in-biztalk-server-2010/
    The above link suggest to add a xml element in the .btm file. I tried that as well but no luck. Can anyone suggest me reason and solution for this?
    Thanks, Girish R. Patil.

    When using the Custom XSLT option, you have to maintain the Extension Xml yourself, just as you would for inline custom Xslt that calls external Assemblies.

  • Error while using customizing object DNL_PLANT to download Plants

    Hi All,
    I am using customizing object  DNL_PLANT to download plants from the R/3 system to the our CRM system.
    From the table T001W (in R/3) to the table CRMM_LOCMAP (in CRM).
    From this I am able to download the required Plants from the R/3 to CRM.
    But the issue i am facing is that there are few entries (BP) defined as ( VERB- Affilated to Companies ) are also downloaded to the same table.
    And these BP have been asssigned one more role other than VERB i.e. BBP003 now. These BP were intially present in the CRM system with role VERB only.Now they have two roles i.e. VERB and BBP003.
    Is there anyway we can revert these entries from the table (CRMM_LOCMAP).
    Or we remove the etra role (BBP003) added to the BP, by removing thses role by simply using BP transaction and removing the role.
    Please suggest.
    Cheers,
    Sharad

    Hi,
    is this a static class with an inner class you created: GlAccountClasses.GaclAcctType ? If not then this cannot be found. If you want to pass the reference to another View Object, use
    a) a method exposed on the other VO Impl class
    b) The ViewLink accessor
    If you are using Groovy on a VO level then it doesn't help if you have accessors defined on the EO level
    This may help too: http://blogs.oracle.com/raghuyadav/entry/groovy_samples

  • Security Exception while using Custom Entity Property Manager

    Hi,
    I am using Portal 7.0 UUP example (specified in dev2dev.com site) to implement
    custom entity property manager.
    It all works fine using Portal 7.0 admin tool.
    Now I am proving the same concept by writing java code to insert record in UUP_Example
    table.
    This is the code I am writing in my class
    UserManager userManager = getUserManager(); (calling method to get Remote Interface
    of UserManager).
    ProfileWrapper pw = userManager.createUser(identifier,password,"User");
    MyEntityPropertyManager myEntityPropertyManager=getMyEntityPropertyManager();(calling
    method to get remote interface of MyEntityPropertyManager)
    long num=myEntityPropertyManager.createUniqueId(null,identifier);
    pw.setProperty("UUPExample","word1","mike_headen");
    Code gets compiled successfully but when I execute these statements, following
    run time exception occurs:
    EJB Exception: ; nested exception is: java.lang.SecurityException: Users can only
    be modified by themselves, or by a member of the role DelegatedAdminRole||SystemAdminRole.
    This problem comes while executing last statement i.e
    pw.setProperty("UUPExample","word1","ajay_dogra");
    I know I am missing something here. Any guidance will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Mike

    Mike,
    You approach is wrong and you have to code your program in a different way to
    get rid of this problem.
    Here, you are trying to update User property using pw.setProperty() even before
    authenticating and logging in the user.
    Why you are getting this error becuase user is not logged in and u are trying
    to update the user property.
    These are the steps you need to perform to update/insert user properties at the
    time of login.
    1. createUser(using usermanager.createUser).
    2. Authenticate user(Authentication.login(identifier, password, req);
    3. Initialse the profile in session
    ProfileWrapper profile =
    ProfileFactory.getProfile(identifier, null);
    4. Fire UserRegistrationEvent and Session Login event.
    5. Update user property using profilewrapper.setProperty.
    Hope this helps,
    You can either perform these steps in java or can use the usemanager custom tag
    in ur JSP.
    Thanks
    Sanjay

  • Dumps while using output types

    Hi,
    We are to create a PO by giving a output type ZPO2 in the sales order. For this we have configured in NACE the ZPO2 output type with medium as 8 (special function). In NACE we have given the Z program name and the form name (Perform in the Z program).
    Now when we give the output type in the sales order and then while debugging we find that the Z program and the form given in NACE is called.
    But however when we check the sales order again in TCode VA02 there is a popup mentioning that the update was terminated. In ST22 there are 2 dumps.
    1) One with the error DYNPRO_SEND_IN_BACKGROUND and the description in the dump is
    The current ABAP program "RSNAST00" had to be terminated because one of the statements could not be executed.
    The termination occurred in line 910 of the source code of the (Include)  program "RSNAST00"
    2) The other dump mentions Too many parameters specified with PERFORM.
    In a subroutine call, there were more parameters than in the routine definition.
    Error in ABAP application program.
    The current ABAP program "RSNAST00" had to be terminated because one of the statements could not be executed.
    The termination occurred in line 910 of the source code of the (Include)  program "RSNAST00"
    In both the cases the termination occurs on:
    NAST = TEMP_NAST
    Please help me understand what is wrong and how can it be rectified.
    Thanks
    Mick

    Hi Mick James,
    About First Error..
    Check out there is an Enhancement Point there in program RSNAST00
    ENHANCEMENT-POINT OBJEKT_SPERREN SPOTS ES_RSNAST00 STATIC
    Check the code in this Enhancement Point...
    You must be executing some objects or FMs etc which can not be run in Background because it require SAP GUI
    And another You must be passing more parameters in Subroutine while calling it ... Check out the defination of Subroutine and number of parameters you are passing...
    Hope it will solve your problem..

    Hi ,
    Can you please cross check these steps carefully.
    1. After importing the WSDL using external definition, did you checked msges Tab for for the included msg to see what msges you have added.
    and be careful that the namespaces of the messages are part of the WSDL description and can differ from the namespace of the external definition object.
    2.Did you created message Interface corresponding to the message types from the external definition? it is needed to route the message to webService. Here select message types of the external definition object. Assign input and output messages.
    3. Creating a SOAP Receiver Channel
    To call the Web service, you create a communication channel with type SOAP and
    direction receiver in the Integration Directory. The obligatory parameters in the
    configuration are Target URL and SOAP action. You get the values you have to enter
    here from the WSDL file.
    Creating a SOAP Sender Channel
    When you create a SOAP sender channel you have to define the namespace and the
    name of a message interface. Since no input help is provided, you copy and paste the
    values from your Integration Repository.
    Select the Quality of Service according to your interface type. If you are using a
    synchronous interface, select Best Effort. Otherwise, select Exactly Once or EOIO.
    Hope this will help you to figure out.

    I have created acustom build .xml file as described in :
    http://download-uk.oracle.com/docs/cd/B31017_01/integrate.1013/b28981/deployproc.htm#sthref3366

  • Problem with User exits when using custom fm

    Hi everybody,
    I am processing an IDoc using fm IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_MRM. Nos I had to copy this to Z_...
    And this fm has a sun-routine that calls User-exits. When I am using the standard fm, the UEs are being checked for active and executing the logic in the UE. But when I am processing IDoc using Z_...fm, the system is checking if the UEs are active. Its also active and now the cursor is coming to CALL CUSTOMER-FUNCTION '014'. But here when I press F5 in Debug, the cursor moves to the next statement after this function call without executing the user- exits. I dont know why its not executing the UE.
    Is there any setting that I need to make?
    thanks in advance
    kris

    Hi Vamsi,
    User exits are specific to the object they are included in. So when you have a "CALL CUSTOMER-FUNCTION '011'" in IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_MRM and when you have "CALL CUSTOMER-FUNCTION '011'" in your Z function module, they are two different things.
    The purpose of a user exit is that you can include your logic in there within the limits defined by the object and without repairing the system. If you copied it, then you don't need the user exit anymore, as that copied object is your custom object and you can incorporate anything you want within main source code itself. If you really thing you should have that user exit, then double click on the call function statement, the system will ask if you want to create the function module, say yes and proceed with the creation.
    But I don't see any reason why you will copy a standard IDOC function module(while you could have used a user exit in there) and still want to use the user exit functionality. Once you copied, it is your object and you don't need a user exit to insert code into your own object.
    Hope this is clear.

  • Special consideration for coding clients while using weblogic clustering

              Hi.
              I wanted to know whether there are any special consdirations to
              be taken while coding clients(servlets in our case) for EJBs when
              we are using clustering of App servers.
              In our setup, we are following the recommended 2-tier architecture
              for Weblogic5.1

              It depends on the size of the object and complexity.
