Problem in F4 help in ALV

Hi,
I have 2 fields Partner function and Partner in my ALV grid display.
Partner function is a drop down box and i have set F4 help for Partner based on input in Partner function field.
The problem i'm facing is as below,
I select Partner function e.g Contact Person in the Partner function dropdown box and then if i press F4 for partner field the value in partner function field is automatically getting converted to UPPER CASE .
as a result of this i'm not getting required result in my select statements.
has anyone faced similar issues , kindly advise what needs to be done .

u need to populate this in the fieldcatalog for partner function.

Hi,
Check whether you are passing the correct 'Field name' and proper content to the F4 help function module.
I guess the problem lies with the F4-help FM called.

Problems with F4 help in ALV grid

Hi all,
I am trying to create a F4 help for the field Payee number in my reprot output (ALV Grid OO), i am able to get the window for selection of the value in the F4 help , but i am unable to pass the value back on to the screen.
I need to insert the selected value from the F4 help and aslo need to populate the Name of the payee into the Payee field.
Can some one help me in finding what error have i done in the code.

Hi.
I have a problem with f4 help in alv list.
There is a field in my alv list which have a domain. This domain has its own values in value range.
I have found how to show f4 help according to system tables ( for example kunnr in kna1 ) but I need to show this value range values as f4 help in my alv list.
Please help me.

Problem in displaying decimals in ALV

I am facing problem in displaying decimals in ALV
Here i want to display 1.00000- but is displaying as 1,000.00-

- If this is a currency amount or a quantity, did you correctly define the link to currency code or quantity unit of measure ?
(Many available documents to read like [Value Display with Currency/Quantity Unit|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2004/helpdata/en/ff/4649b1f17411d2b486006094192fe3/frameset.htm])
- If this is not such a field, but a basic numeric type, did you try to fill DECIMALS_O in the field catalog ?

Hi,
if you already developed using OO concept, it should be possible to:
create a handler for event ONF4
The interface will tell you actual field name and value where F4 is pressed. This will enable you to call your own routine (see FM F4-IF....).
Please check how the standard handles F4 - if you have standard and customer-F4 mixed you shouldtake care that the standard handling is triggered.

I tried to find it on SDN but all the methods are using OO ALV.
How we can attaché customized search help in ALV developed using the FM REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY.

Try this.
Set the f4 help for the field in the fieldcatalog
ls_fcat-f4availabl = 'X'.
1. Create a event of ONF4 for the alv grid.
2. Set the event handler.
3. Append the field for the F4 help in the internal table and call the below method
    CALL METHOD g_mprn->register_f4_for_fields
    EXPORTING
      it_f4 = i_f4.
4. create a class definition and implementation
    refer sample pgms (BCALV_F4, BCALV_GRID_EDIT_DELTA and BCALV_GRID_EDIT)

You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5.2 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.2 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Older versions of Pages 5 can not open files from later versions of Pages 5.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud and opened in a newer version of Pages is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Apple has removed almost 100 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

Did you download Windows Support Software when you started installing windows via Bootcamp. If yes you need to then install the Support Software after installing windows which contains Windows drivers for Mac hardware.

System setup with Oracle dataguard feature, so ourworld-0 and ourworld-db can fail over to disaster recovery systems sptldr and sptldevdb at another site. Although we installed using the SAPINST_USE_HOSTNAME for SCS/central instance the visual administrator and message server still pick
up sptltrex. We though setting the SAPLOCALHOSTFULL to ourworld-0.sap.serco.com had fixed this issue, but this generated many iview errors that
could not be found. When the SAPLOCALHOSTFULL was backed out everything
began to display again. Although there is still intermittant errors of screens not acting as required.

We have had numerous OSS messages for various continuing problems on the system. Today we have an complete up-to-date as possible patched system. SPS 9 with all the latest sub patches also. We have installed AIX TL 05 with service pack 2 so oslevel -s shows 5300-05-02 + a related db APAR, the IBM java JDK is SRS06. Full earlywatch go-live check parameters and options have been completed.
But still we have problems.

We have a 3-server portal installation with one j2ee dispatcher and two
j2ee servers on each server.
We are experiencing major issues with the consistency or
synchronisation between the servers and availability of portal applications.
For example the themes editor is only available on sptl1 server0, so if
you are lucky and log onto that server you can use this application.
THIS IS ONE OF MANY examples of this type of issue. How can we ensure
that the landscape is consistent? Screen shots from sptl1 showing the
themes application being available and not available.
A simple look at the filesystem reveals the following, and only the
themes editor directory and contents are on sptl1.
