Problem in Marshaling UnMarshaling with @XmlAnyElement using JAXB

Hi all,
I am having a class annotated with XML binding annotations. I am using this class to marshal and unmarshal XML content.
I am having one class named Data. This class is field of some other class.

Data class is having one element named any. any holds any kind of XML Content.
Now when I Unmarshal XML content to java class displayed above it works fine.
But when Marshaling java class to XML it adds some unwanted namespaces and prefixes to content in any element in Data class.
I am using javax.xml.bind.JAXBContext class for getting javax.xml.bind.Marshaller and javax.xml.bind.Unmarshaller.

First one is the actual content. Second one is the Marshalled XML with addtional Namespace and prefixes.
I don't want this behaviour. *I want Marshaling and UnMarshaling not to touch Content in any element of Data Class.I want that content as it is.* Is there any way to do so?
Any comment for this will help me.

What exactly the message mean: Use the "-extension" switch.
My work around is to remove the abstract="true" from abstract element. Is there a better way?

    I have just downloaded the JAXB reference implementation and have been trying out marshalling Java objects to XML.
    I have a very basic question - can I convert the data from my Java classes into XML and simply send it as a String to another object instead of only having to write it out into a File? Ideally, I want to convert Java to XML from my Business Layer and send XML to my Presentation Layer objects. To do this, I need the XML returned to me in the form of a String and not a File. Any tips will be highly appreciated.

    You should be using Object Factory. JAXB provides one ObjectFactory for each schema.
    Create that particular object and after filling values into that object please set it to the Jaxb object where ever it fits.

    If you want to set Name then JAXB will provide you with setter which be used to set or get. Util you are setting an object which is can repeat more that once then you will have to get a list from the JAXB object and add those objects into the list which will automatically add it the main object.

  • Encoding problem when forwarding mails with attachments using exchange account

    Hi,
    I'm facing a special misbehaviour of mail. Scenario: With Apple Mail 7.2 I would like to forward an exchange mail with attachments. The mail is wirtten in german and uses german special characters like äüöÄÖÜ. During editing the mail everything is ok which means all characters are shown in thte correct way. When I send the mail, something magic must happen in the background.
    When I look in the sent mail folder and open the mail, all special characters are show as "?". Must be an encoding problem, I gues but I don't know how to fix it.
    When I send exactly the same mail with another Apple mail account (non exchange), there is no problem. So I assume it has something to do with handling exchange accounts under Apple mail.
    Any idea to solve this issue? Thanks in advance.

    This is a know issue with Yahoo! Email on the iPhone. When sending email, sometimes it will say it has been sent, while it really has not (and it will not show up in the sent folder).
    It has been discussed quite a bit in the forums, so a search will turn up a lot of discussion, but no solid solution. Some say Yahoo is working on a fix, other that Apple is.
    The most common solution (which is usually temporary), is to either reboot your phone, and/or delete and reinstall your Yahoo! Mail account on your phone.

  • Problem getting calendar event with recurring using EWS Java client API 1.2

    I am using EWS 1.2 Java client API for getting calendar events. I am able to get Recurring information of the event which is created through API's 
    appointment.save(), but not able to get recurring information of the event created in OWA interface, I get following error during the bind:

    I am also facing the same problem.. If anyone can help, it would be helpful. I can see the response xml has the data, but while parsing the xml the error is generated in getResponseCode() in HttpClientWebRequest

    runtime in the transaction KEU5:

    If the option 'detailed list' is selected, a detailed output list is
    created for every segment. This takes up the largest amount of time
    during the process.
    2. Ensure that the Summarization that you use are updated on a regular
    basis, daily if possible.

    cycles dimensions recommended by SAP (a maximum

    only 20 are valid receivers, the complete master data validation and
    database selection is carried out for all 100. See note 79224 and

    4. For the definition of segments and their summary in cycles, you
    should take into account the technical aspects included in note 420081.
    Please take into account that the selection of data is carried out
    from CE3xxxx, CE4xxxx (no effect at this point if you have archived
    CE1xxxx), as explained in note 420081.
    The selection of the reference data can both be carried out from a
    summarization level or from object level (tables CE3xxxx, CE4xxxx).

    Moving this from the Java Technologies for Web Services forum to this one.
    With the jwsdp jars I'm trying to use JAXB to load in several specified XML files. This works fine. The XML files are read in from a relative link "/templates/mainXML.xml" and the xml string read in and passed to the unmarshaller as a StreamSource:

    I've tried using jwsdp2.0 jars rather than 1.4 I was using previously, but with the same result.

    Oh, I see why. When XML talks about a "relative path" that means relative to the URL the XML was loaded from. But when the parser doesn't have such a URL -- for example in cases like yours where you are parsing from a String -- then it falls back to assuming the XML was loaded from the current working directory.
    This is almost never a good assumption, but what else can it do?
    Looking at your code, I don't understand why you are parsing from a String anyway. All of that code that reads from an input stream, ignoring the line endings and putting back new line endings, seems pointless to me. You should just marshal directly from getClass().getResource(xmlPath_) as far as I can see. Then your relative paths would work just fine.

  • How to marshal List Source using JAXB and xjc?

    I'm having problems to marshal objects of xjc generated java classes to xml output. In detail I am facing problems to use a list of sources (List<javax.xml.transform.Source>) that's been generated.
    The schema I am using is:

But that also does not lead to the expected result. It included the content of the source now but whitespace separated and not as single objects. The expected result should look some like this:

    </TestAttachment>By the way - when I'm using a single "text/xml" mime type element (maxOccurs="1") in the based schema everything works fine. xjc generates a single attribute of type javax.transform.Source and the marshalling works out the expected way.

    I am trying to use JAXB in windows environment. I have already included rt and xjc jar files in my system classpath.
    I have sucessfully created java files using the xjc compiler(without the xjs map file). They rock!!
    But I am facing problems while creating .xjs file from my dtd. I tried looking into previously discussed topics, with no help. :(
    my command line:
    java -jar C:\jaxb-1.0-ea\lib\jaxb-rt-1.0-ea.jar mySchemaFile.dtd
    This is what i get :
    Failed to load Main-Class manifest attribute from
    C:\jaxb-1.0-ea\lib\jaxb-rt-1.0-ea.jar
    Please help, if you have come across this or similar issue..
    Or let me know how you create a .xjs file.
    Any idea what is the main file class in jaxb-rt-1.0-ea.jar that creates a xjs file ?

    You cannot use xjs files with the JAXB Beta RI.
    This has been mentioned at http://java.sun.com/xml/jaxb
    "Note that this version is not API-level compatible with the previous released version of the specification and DTD schemas are no longer supported."
    You can generate code using the xjc binding compiler for schema documents.

  • Using JAXB with Oracle CEP

    Just a tip to anyone looking to use JAXB or other APIs requiring class loading with CEP. Because CEP uses OSGi, you must provide your own class loader to use (in this example) JAXB 2.0. For example:
    cLoader = com.mycorp.cep.message.schema.ObjectFactory.class.getClassLoader();+
    jaxbCtxt = JAXBContext.newInstance("com.mycorp.cep.message.schema", cLoader);+
    UnMarsh = jaxbCtxt.createUnmarshaller();+
    The code snippet above demonstrates that before obtaining a JAXBContext object, there must be a separate class loader defined that is not the thread's default class loader. I used the JAXB ObjectFactory class that is generated when processing the schema XSD file.
    There's probably other ways to do this, but I found this way to be the easiest solution so far that works.

    I just downloaded JAXB 2.1 EA 2 from java.net
    The xjc tool supports these arguments:
    -relaxng           :  treat input as RELAX NG (experimental,unsupported)
    -relaxng-compact   :  treat input as RELAX NG compact syntax (experimental,unsupported)I haven't tested this out yet. Let me know if you try this solution.

  • Problem in creating client side PDF with image using flex and AlivePD

    I need a favor I am creating client side PDF with image using flex and AlivePDF for a web based application. Images have been generated on that pdf but it is creating problem for large size images as half of the image disappeared from that pdf.I am taking the image inside a canvas . How do i control my images so that they come fit on that pdf file for any image size that i take.

    I am having a similar and more serious problem. It takes a
    long time to execute, but even attaching a small image balloons the
    pdf to 6MB plus. After a few images it gets up to 20MB. These are
    100k jpeg files being attached. The resulting PDF is too large to
    email or process effectively. Does anyone know how to reduce
    size/processing?

  • I have a 17" Macbook pro with flickering red and cyan(blue) lines across the screen. The issue disappears temporarily when I tap on the computer, and the problem does not occur when I use external display or try to screen capture the problem.

    I purchased my Macbook (17") through a certified apple tecnition in August 2012, it was refurbished and the motherboard was completely replaced. I do a lot of photo editing, but I have been unable to do so because of the red vibrating lines that interrupt my screen. The issue disappears temporarily when I tap on the computer, and the problem does not occur when I use external display or try to screen capture the problem. I brought the computer back to the technition I purchased it from and he said that it was a problem with my fan, so I have two new fans but the issue is still occuring. He says he doesnt know whats wrong. Does anyone have any information on this issue?

    I recommend having your Mac serviced by someone competent. A force sufficient to "blow apart" the fans was clearly excessive and may have damaged the display cable, as well as any number of other problems.
    Dust is properly cleaned with a vacuum, preferably one designed for computer service, and they are not cheap.
    Compressed air should never be used. It just blows dust everywhere, often into places where it can no longer be removed.

    Can you drag and drop the attachments visible in the email to the Desktop OK or does that fail ?
    Re the sending: Are these recipients on Mac's or PC's as the file type could be an issue, if on Mac's then try setting the Mail Preferences Composing setting to Plain Text not Rich Text and see if that improves things.

  • How to use JAXB generated classes with SOAP

    I have a library of JAXB generated classes for my web service. There is a Java class for each web method defined in my schema. For example, my getLocation method is mapped to GetLocation.class.
    However my web service is SOAP based, so I am having to manually strip off the SOAP elements to be able to unmarshall the getLocation xml to a GetLocation class.
    I am noticing a disconnect between JAXB and other Java SOAP and RPC libraries. Does anyone know how to create a JAXB class for SOAP Envelopes and Bodys? Does anyone have any ideas how to incorporate the existing Java web service libraries with JAXB?

    Have you found a method to integrate SAAJ and JAXB? Or
    is better to use SAAJ only ?If I had to choose I'd go with SAAJ. It seems to me that's theoretically possible to use JAXB classes with SAAJ but I imagine if it is possible it would be a big pain in the ass.

    we are working on a student project and would like to create customers (debtors) in an SAP IDES system.
    Using the ref-customer to copy from, and some personal-data below, we get the error message
    'Internal error: External no.assignment for reference customer/customer'
    We also tried with BAPI_CUSTOMER_GETINTNUMBER, and ACCOUNTGROUP ZINT (New Internet Customer, others won't work?). But CREATEFROMDATA1 takes no CustomerNo created this way, nor it wants to create one 'internal'?

    Thanks for your pointer. Actually The customer's reference number i was providing in the PI_COPYREFERENCE structure was a sold-to party customer and it uses external customer number assignment. When i used "New Internet Customer" (that doesnt use external assignment by default) as customer's account group, the customer was created successfully and assigned customer number was returned.
    I want to ask now how could we give a customer number in the BAPI as i am unable to find any such column in any of the tables. (Customer number is an "out" parameter so it can only return the number of created customer). Secondly, how to chnage the external assignment property of a particular account group (like sold-to party). i.e, how could we change the account group configurations through SAP GUI??

  • Problem with merge using package (row)variable

    We're doing an ETL project, where we have to validate data coming from staging tables before inserting / updating them in our data tables.
    We use a validate function for this, in which we 'test' our mappings and business logic, and returns 'OK' if no errors were occured.This function is called in the WHERE clause, and populates a package row variable. From this variable, values are read in the insert / update statement, using a get function.
    The problem is that sometimes, with a data set with NO duplicate keys, we get an ORA-00001 error, and sometimes not.
    Does anyone have any idea why this error could occur ? We're on Oracle 9.2.0.5.0.
    For the demo mentioned below, the following statement fails , while it succeeds if we add 'and rownum < 11' to the where clause :

    It's not necessarily that the problem is within your package code. As long as UNIQUE constraint exists on DEST table, any MERGE statement may fail with ORA-00001 due to concurrent updates and inserts taking place.
    Of course, it's just my guess but consider the following scenario (three sessions modify DEST table in parallel – and to keep this example clear, I put their commands in chronological order):
