Problem in pop-up windows

Hi All,
I have few pop up windows in my VC application. I was using FLEX 1.x compiler before and pop-up windows were displayed properly. But due to that 32K limit I had to upgrade my FLEX complier to FLEX2. Now, I am able to deploy and execute the application but the pop-up is not displayed properly. Specifically the buttons are not being displayed on the pop-up window. I have tried in IE6.0, IE7.0, Firefox 3 and Google Chrome browser but faced the same problem everywhere.
If somebody has come across this before and knows how to resolve this then your help is highly appreicated.

Hi,
if the application is working fine with Flex1.5 and not orking with Flex2 means definilty its a Bug.
But all these bugs are fixed in latest SPs

Anyone having problems with pop up windows?

Very recently (roughly just after performing the most recent Security Update) I have had trouble with pop up windows in Safari. Haven't had the problem before and the strange part is that my setting to block pop up windows keeps becoming unchecked in the Safari menu. My workaround has been to refresh the page, which removes the pop up, and then re-check the block pop up window option. Next time I open up Safari, I get the pop up again and my setting is unchecked.
Anybody else have this experience. Any malicious software out there that might be causing this? Any suggestions?

Welcome to Apple Discussions
Oddities in Safari happen, not from viruses etc, but from some of the complexities of the program itself. In this case, a corrupted preference file may be causing the problem.
In the Finder, drag to the desktop the com.apple.safari.plist folder found in your User Account>Library>Preferences folder.
Restart Safari. Select the pop-up block. Quit/Restart Safari.
If the pop-up selection held, you'll need to reset your Safari preferences to your liking, plus any custom settings found in the Edit Menu (spelling) or View Menu (status bar, bookmarks bar, custom icons in the "Customize Address Bar" ).
Otherwise, move the file back to its original location.

I have problems with pop up windows after earlier today I updated the software

I have a macbook pro, and I updated the software today, I have OS X 10.9
After I did this I started having problems in safari with pop up windows, before it only happened with some sites, but now almost every site I try to open it also opens
pop up windows, and some sites have underlined words that link to other sites for advertising.
I really don't know what to do and I've read several posts of people that also have had my problem but I don't the solutions.

Problem with Pop up windows and struts

Hi
I have problem in working with pop-up windows and struts.
I have parent page which basically lists some data and has a button for adding new record. when I press that button a child windndow will be opened for data entry. The child window has submit button to save data.
when I press the button for save, It will go to action class and saves it in a database and forwards a new page.
but I do not want to forward any new page. If any exception is raised during database saving, a message should be showed in child window otherwise the child window should close and the parent window should get refreshed.
Can any one write me how we can handle this in struts.

This has nothing to do with struts, you can do the same with some plain JavaScript. Do the following...
1) On error, forward to a error page
2) On success, forward to a temp.html page.
The code in temp.html would be like this

Problem with pop-up window

Hi all,
i caught up with one issue while using Function-Module POPUP_WITH_TABLE,with this Func-module im able to display all the entries in the pop-up,but if i press the continue button with out selecting any item in the window ,that window does not getting closed.What should i have to do for closing that window even if i press the continue button without selecting any entry of pop-up window.

you cant get that fn ality in POPUP_WITH_TABLE here you have to cross the window and uncomment the exception part for that.

Problems with pop-up windows

Hallo,
I am working with Portal 3.06 and most things work quite fine, except the Pop-Up windows. When I place a pop-up window on a customization form referring a certain dynamic list-of-values and then check it, no pop-up-window appears. The Internet Explorer posts me the Javascript message :
"Object expected" and the Netscape navigator doesn't return anything. When I use a combobox instead using the same list-of-values everything works fine. Could this be a bug in portal? I searched in the oracle-technet and other discussion boards for a solution but so far I didn't find anything. I would be very happy, if someone could help me.

Problems with pop-up window in IE

We run a free multiplayer poker game on Bebo and Facebook.
You can see it at

As you’ll see, when a user visits the app the Flash
lobby loads inside the page. There the user sees a list of
available tables and can either double-click the table name or
highlight the table and then press the Play button on the right to
open a table. The table then opens in a new window.
For most users, this works without a problem. But some users
on IE report that when they click the Play button the table
doesn’t open. Instead, the Play button disappears and no
table opens. These players are certain that no pop-up blocker is
causing the issue as they either don’t have one or have
disabled it.
Switching to Firefox seems to solve the issue.
Do you have any clues as to what could be causing this in IE?

Ever get this solved? The only time I have seen flash
disapear is when IE didnt have the latest flash plugin. Tell them
to right-click over the flash and see what player it says at the
bottom of the menu...

Problem with pop out window in my smarter mail

For work I have to use SmarterMail. When I go to create a new email or reply to someone, a new smaller window pops out for me to create my message. The problem is.... well the text is not right. Kind of hard to describe so I have cut and paste an example below. Sometimes it can be very difficult to decipher a message. Please help me fix this. It has not been a problem until the most recent firefox update. Also it has been affected on all my PC's and laptop.
The example below is what I see when I hit reply to a message. The information I need is there but there is a bunch of other stuff there too. I think its HTML code or something... PLEASE HELP ME FIX IT

Problems creating pop up window

I'm still somewhat of newbie with Flash, & I'm trying to get a popup working on my website using a combo of as3 & javascript.
The problem I've got is that it keeps opening a new browser as well as the pop up coming up.
I suspect it's something in the actionscript addressing the new url. I've tried options of "_parent", "_self", "_blank", "_child" & keep getting the same result where a blank browser window open & then the popup over that.
The actionscript is:

Okay, that makes sense.
But I don't know how to solve my problem.
I need to get the actionscript to open the pop up.
When I tried doing it without the Javascript, I kept getting just a new tab rather than a new browser window.
Any idea how I can get around that?
All the tutorials I could find regarding popups with as3 seemed to say that it required javascript as well.
I'm confused as all hell right now.

Pop Up windows - Apache Beehive Vs Weblogic workshop

Hi,
I was going through this open source project called Beehive by apache.
and they have a very much similar model of pageflows as weblogic workshop using struts and netui tag library.
But, their netui tag library has more tags and options too.
I was wondering how are pop up windows dealt with in Workshop.
Apache Beehive uses netui:button tag with popup attribute, netui:configurePopUp tag etc to support popup windows.

In WLS 9.0, BEA will use Beehive. Beehive is a lot more powerful then the current page flow implementation in BEA.

Pop Up windows in Reader XI

I am running Reader XI and there is a problem with pop-up windows within the programme. The printer pop-up window comes up with all the buttons but no text and any other pop-ups are at such a large resolution that they are impossible to manage and read.

How can I fix the problem of a pop up window that appears every time firefix loads titled [Javascript Application] and says "balance.balance is undefined"

The small "[Javascript Application] and balance.balance is undefined" pop up window is followed by a pop up that shows a caution sign and the number 3. They repeatedly pop back up when I click on the OK button or X, I must click them 10 times before they go away. Then Firefox seems to run normally until I exit and try to return later to Firefox.
I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it with no effect. I have also run any troubleshooter that seemed to remotely refer to this problem with no effect.
This does not happen when I load Internet Explorer or Google Chrome. Except for this problem, I much prefer Firefox over either one.

hello, can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, probably an addon is interfering here...

Pop-up window "Experiencing Connection Problems!"

The last week or so I have had this window (below) popping up on the top right of my screen. There seems to be no logic to when it appears - it goes away on it's own.
Safari is in the forground. "Block Pop-up Windows" is enabled in preferences.

Why are pop-up windows too small, text is being cut off. Problem is occurring with webkinz

When I go to webkinz, the pop-up windows are too small to display all the information in the box. Text is being cut off. It works fine with Explorer. This has not always been a problem-- but is giving problems in the lat month. It occurs when you sign in, not noticeable on opening home page.

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems: <b>View > Zoom > Reset</b> (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)
