Problem in printing the output of a script.

dear friends,
I have a script program which is running fine and the it has generated the desired output in one page on the screen. But when i am transfering the output to the printer the same output is splitting into 3 pages and special character is printing in begining and ending of every line. In the first page It is printing the special character, in the second it is printing the first line output and in the third page rest of the output.
In my script i have only the main window. i want the script output to be printed only in one page on the printer . Please help me with your suggestions.

Sravan,
Check ur printer as sometimes it so happens that the printers act up and spoil output...

    i have given linesize 1023 because i have to get the output horizontally.
    but still i am not able to  adjust.
    IS there any other way so that I can customize my print out

    Friend,
    My answer is available for this problem in this thread...
    https://forums.sdn.sap.com/click.jspa?searchID=-1&messageID=4317216
    Goto Se11
    In the datatype give TBLISTBR (it is a standard element, it will ask you access code for changes)...
    go into change mode...
    in the value range ...change teh upper limit as 2000....
    save and activate
    now go into menu utitilities->setttings->data browser->output list width->set to 2000....

  • Problem in Printing the values in SAP Script

    Hi,
    I have to print the material, description, quantity and value in the invoice.. the problem i face is.. the variables which is of size 40 characters. only prints the data and gets trimmed because of which the data displayed in the invoice not in order.
    can any one tell me how to find the length of the variable or is there any way to protect the variable from getting trimmed.
    Advance Thanks..
    Guhapriyan S

    Hi again,
    1. what problem are u facing ?
      (there is no sapscript symbol / system symbol
       for finding out the length )
      (In abap u can use strlen)
    2.  data and gets trimmed
       what is the meaning of it ?
    3. do u mean to say that  !
      ABCDEF                     123 45
      GEF                        123 45
      is getting pritned like
      ABCDEF 123 45  ?
      GEF  123 45
    4. If so , then use TABS
    5. This happens because SPACE
       is different in different varlues of
       ABCDEF and GEF !

  • Problem in determining the output (Print, ALE, etc)  for Exchange document

    Hi Experts,
    I am facing a problem in getting the output for certain Exchange netting documents. If I remove Exchange contract number from the netting document, The out put is getting generated as required. But if a Exchange contract number is mentioned in the Netting documents ( the case is appearing only for couple of netting documents) the out is not getting generated. On analysing, system gives message that it is not able to find the required partner role ( its Bill to party in this case). But BP partner roles is  set.
    Please let me know which are the partner roles that are required for this output determination.
    Thanks a lot,

  • Problem with Printing the Billing date...

    Hi Experts...
    Here im facing the problem in printing the billing date.
    The scenario is as follows.
    The posting date of Billing is 10.10.2008
      The document date of Billing is also 10.10.2008.
    At the time of printing the Billing document it is taking another date otherthan 10.10.2008,where it should be 10.10.2008.
    What modifications should i do to rectify the problem.
    Please advice.
    Regards,
    Y P.

    Prasad,
    Ask your ABAPer do debug and find out what date (Table-Field) is used in the Invoice Output program. You will know the reason and if you think that the date being used is incorrect, you can ask your ABAPer to change it to VBRK-FKDAT which is the billing date.

    Try using the FM:
    ENQUE_READ2
    Passing the follwing values:
    GNAME --> VBAK (Sales Order header table)
    GARG   --> The lock argument
                       (This will be a combination of client number anb Sales Order No.
                        Eg: '3001210000054' where the first three digit i,e 300 is the client No
                       and 1210000054 is the sales order no.)

  • Any means to print the output from an abap report immediately

    Hi,
    I would like to know if there are any means to print the output of an abap program immediately. Our user wants to execute the program online and once the result list is displayed on screen, user wants the same list to be printed simultaneously without the need to press the 'Print' button.
    Thanks in advance for your help and advises.
    Francis

    Hi
      We can print the list while displaying using NEW-PAGE PRINT ON.
      below is the syntax for this.
         NEW-PAGE PRINT ON [NEW-SECTION]
                    [<params> | PARAMETERS <pripar>]
                    [ARCHIVE PARAMETERS <arcpar>]
                    [NO DIALOG].

  • Problem  in Printing the ALV list

    Hi,
       I have one problem with printing the ALV list. While printing the ALV list(thro Print Icon on application Tool bar) ,Fist page of my print out contains some other inforamtion.
      inforamtions included two tables
      first table  contains Sort Criteria, Ascdg, Descnd, Subtotal  columns.
      And second table contains Data statistics , number of
    columns.
    But from Second page onwards , my alv list printed correctly .
      How can i avoid the First page inforamtion and
          what is the Reason of coming like this?
    Thanks,
    Neptune.M

    I assume you are using function module Reuse_alv_grid_display or reuse_alv_list_display for ALV.
    If this is the case, there is a parameter called IS_PRINT that you need to supply while calling the function module.
    you can for exapmle declare
    data:
    printstruc type SLIS_PRINT_ALV.
    printstruc-NO_PRINT_LISTINFOS = 'X'.
    call function 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY'
      EXPORTING
    IS_PRINT = printstruc
    There are many other flags in is_print structures that you can use to manipulate the printing.
    Cheers!

  • How make "Scanner" not printing the output in a new line?

    Hi!
    I'm Jordi from Barcelona and I'm new on Java and on this Forum. I have a question to you. I'm developing a testing application that uses the "Scanner".
    Before using it, the app asks a question to the user:
    String strInput;
    Scanner sc = new Scanner(System.in);
    System.out.print("* Please, write your name: ");
    strInput = sc.next();Running this, the app asks me for the options and after pressing "Enter" prints the input string in a new line like this:
    * Please, write your name:
    Jordi
    And I would to get the next:
    * Please, write your name: Jordi
    Does anybody know how to make the "Scanner" print the output in the same line as the question?
    Thanks for your help!
    Jordi

    Running the code,
    import java.util.Scanner;
    public class Test {
        public static void main(String[] args) {
            Scanner sc = new Scanner(System.in);
            System.out.print("* Please, write your name: ");
            System.out.println("* Hi, "+sc.next());
    }results in the following output:
    * Please, write your name: Bart
    * Hi, BartWhere the first "Bart" is the input I gave.
    If this is not the case, then it has something to do with your IDE or perhaps you didn't recompile and it previously was
    System.out.println("* Please, write your name: "); // println instead of printbut it's all guesses.
    Good luck.

  • If i got incorrect characters in the output of sap script? HOW TO CORRECT I

    If i got incorrect characters in the output of sap script? HOW TO CORRECT IT?

    Hi Sunil,
    Debug the script and check where exactly those are getting populated. Definately you will get it. Check the conversion parts means character to numeric conversion.
    If your version is 4.7E then select unicode check box in the reports attributes. It will display the error message so that we can solve very easily.Hope this helps you, reply for queries, Shall post you the updates.
