Problem in selecting views in MM01 Transaction
Hi,
I want to know where can i configure views (In SPRO) for a particular Industry sector and material type for a material.In my case some view are getting displayed when i enter a material in MM01 transaction i want to select some more views for that material.

Hi,
Go to Logistics general -> material master -> basic settings -> material types -> Define attributes of material types.
Select the reqired material type and click on details ( Mirror glass)

Problem with a view in XK01 transaction
Hi All,
I am working on upload conversion for Vendor Master. While doing conversion, i am getting a problem with a Contact person view in XK01 transaction. In contact person view the telephone field column sometimes allowing to add data ,sometimes it's not allowing data which results an error in conversion program saying that the telephone field in not an input field. I don't know why the view is showing the telephone field like that.
Can any one suggest the solution for this problem. I know this is configuration problem with a view but i posted in ABAP forums.

I assume that you are writing a BDC program to upload contact person information. If so, you are trying to populate a table control here. Please check to see if you are calculating the index to assign values to the correct rows.
if you are calculating index in your program then i think it should be configuration problem as you said.

I have views with column names such as "Détermination Planimétriq" or "Année de construction:*";
I can get in my c# function this columns names from ALL_VIEWS dictionary table, but if I try to make a selectionby use of an OracleCommand, Oracle returns an "Invalid identifier" error:

Any suggestion?...Be wary of using character codes outside the Western European "simple" alphanumeric [A-Z0-9] for object names, i.e. columns, table names, function and procedure names, and so on.
First reason, there is a 30 character limit for most object names, and characters that have to be spelled out with unicode characters take more space, i.e.:
select dump( 'Détermination Planimétriq' ) from dual;
DUMP('D?TERMINATIONPLANIM?TRIQ')
Typ=96 Len=29: 68,239,[ ... ]Although the varchar string for that column name looks like 25 characters, it needs room for 29 to store the e<acute> character. And could also depend on the client settings. Using case sensitive names is not a best practice, its better to avoid specifying objects with the double quotes.

Hi, From T-code OMS2 select the material type for which you do not want the MRP view, double click on the material type & deselect the MRP (all 4 MRP views are connected to these tab only) tab for that material type & save. Test & check. -
how can we keep selection view in MM01 remain unchanged irrespective of fields that we input in the selection screen

After the recording, you might see, that the selection of the views is
monething like that: SELECTION(3) = 'X'
SELECTION(4) = 'X'
SELECTION(5) = 'X'
you have to address the selected
views by their index in the table.
in Tcode SHDB, record MM01 transaction only for the MRP1 MRP2 MRP3 and use the same code in ur BDC prog.

You have + button in the MK01 trasaction code, if you press that you
can enter new record in the table control, so every time, enter a New
record and press that + button, then enter the record then press + , like this we need to handle the table control

How to Upload different Material with Different Selection View
Hello Experts!
Iu2019m new in ABAP and trying to understand methods of LSMW. Now I get a question for you guys. Let say I need to upload 10 different materials. Now for instance.
1st material has Basic data 1 and Basic data 2.
2nd material has Basic data 1, Purchasing and Purchase Order text
3rd material has Basic data 1, Classification, Purchasing, MRP 1, MRP 2 & MRP 3.
4th material has Basic data 1 & Basic data 2.
5th material has Basic data 1, Classification, Purchasing, MRP 1, MRP 2 & MRP 3.
And so on. Now here Iu2019ve notice that every material has different INDUSTRY SECTOR, MATERIAL TYPE AND SELECTION VIEWS. I understand that Industry Sector, Material Type and other data I can specify in my file but how I can control SELECTION VIEWS for different materials. Because for different Selection view coming screens will become different accordingly.
So can somebody can please tell me how I can control different select views for different material and upload it in SAP.

Actually, for a tcode like MM01 I dont think you should use LSMW, instead you can go with the BAPI: BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA.
The views is a serious problem with MM01 when performing using batch input..
So, go through the documentation in SE37 tcode for the BAPI...
The information you get there will help you on how to proceed.

Selection view in MM02 BDC program
Hi Experts,
I am doing BDC Session method for Tcode MM02.There i am getting selection View screen for different material.But if i select a material in Sales view i need to select Sales :Sales org dAta.
It's coming third position.
But for some material it's coming fourth view.
If i record bdc in third position it'll take third view some other. how i can select the view in selection view.
Please,Anybody knows give me the suggestion.

use this Function module <b>SELECTION_VIEWS_FIND</b> to find the view position.
This One of functional modules for those who still has to use BDC for Material Master transactions (MM01 and MM02). Allows to determine line number for desired view in the "Select View(s)" window, to prepare BDC for the view access
Find the positon of the View based on this function module and write the code to select that perticular view.

Add field 'ebeln' in selection-screen of FBL1N transaction
Hi Experts,
Is there a way to display the field 'ebeln' in transaction FBL1N for certain document types and company code only..?
I have already tried this steps below..But the problem is, this changes below is applicable to all document types.
1. Trans. SE36, indicate logical database KDF. <- Logical database for FBL1N transaction
2. Details > Selection views
3. Update the standard SAP view
4. Select table BSIK
5. Include field ebeln.

Please kindly note that field BSEG-EBELN is not possible for being shown
with a value in FBL1N (and FBL5N).
Since Release 3.0, several purchase orders can be offset in one invoice.
As a result, different purchasing document numbers (BSEG-EBELN) can be
contained in the different G/L account line items..
As a result, it is no longer possible to enter a unique purchasing
document number in the customer/vendor line item.Field BSEG-EBELN is not
filled in the vendor line item and therefore cannot be displayed in the
line item display for customers/vendors.
You could reference note 152335 to find a more detailed explanation and
possible solution of the issue.
It is only possible to view the purchase order number(EBELN) in FBL3N.
As a workaround, you may branch from vendor line item display to
'Document overview' and you will see the PO number for the respective
accounting document in other G/L account line items.
What You are doing is to insert the field EBELN into the Dynamic selection of the FBL1N but this does not mean to have it available into the FBL1N layout.
I hope the System behaviour is clerer.
