When I run my form using Developer 6i form runtime, it runs fine and display the image correctly,
But when I place my form on the Application Server9i and call it from there, it says unable to perform the query, and did not Display the Image.
My Database is 9i, and the field in which I am storing the image is of BLOB data type.
I need Your Help to resolve the issue.

  • Problem for viewing Image and "\n" on Alert

    Good day.
    I made a Midlet MIDP 1.0 CLDC 1.0 that have an Image on Alert class;
    this is my code:
    Alert al = new Alert("AppTitle");
    try {
    al.setImage(Image.createImage("/MyApp/myimg.jpg"));
    } catch (java.io.IOException e) {
    al.setTimeout(3000);
    al.setType(AlertType.INFO);
    display.setCurrent(al);
    On Nokia Phones (I've tried Series 40 e 60) the result is that I view on text area Information and near of it (but cutted) the image.
    Why?
    I have another question:
    If I use on Alert class
    al.setString("MyApp\nMyName");
    within or eithout image On Nokia phones the "\n" idn't considered.
    Both problems in others phones (I've tried Motorola and Sony-Ericsson) aren't.
    Why?
    Best regards and good work.

    Hi MTSTUNER & J Maloney
    I really appreciate the interest you've both taken in the question.
    Yes, J Maloney you would be correct. I was wanting to see the whole of the image, the masked bits and the not masked bits... as well as the mask too all simultaneously.
    I'm currently kicking myself that I've not explored the Masks panel. Don't know when it was introduced, I have kind of skipped a version of PhotoShop or two on my own machine - lame excuse, I know gov. The density idea is far more elegant than my solution. However, I did find that by creating the duplicate I've been able to colourise it so as to make the results of what I was doing really obvious visually. I like the invert idea too, so simple - and it might prove the best of the options... but I'll try it on another image as I've pretty much done this one - lots of hats, not much hair.
    No offence on the "last paragraph". My reaction was "it's not unasked" though I wasn't clear: "How do sensible people approach this exercise?"
    Thank you too MSTUNER, I appreciate the time spent.
    "Quick Mask?" occurred randomly to me. Something I've never bothered with, tending to go straight to Layer Mask work. I'll own up that Quick Mask has never managed to make itself part of my workflow, I've no idea why because I'm sure it should if I gave it time. However, a quick experiment hasn't produced a Eureka moment. I was hoping I could easily subtract or add a Quick Mask from/to an existing Layer Mask... nope, doesn't seem to want to - though it was a 'quick' experiment.
    Thank you again for taking the time and enjoy the rest of your day. Regards.

  • Problem with Viewing Images

    I have been working in LR 5.2 with normal performance, settings etc.  I have not made any changes in preferences, or the different settings to the best of my knowledge..  I shutdown, normally without any error message, to include doing my normal back up.  Today when opening LR all opens as should with the exception that all my images in the catalogue are "grayed out".  In Library module all the images are there with appropriate metadata showing, but in grid mode, al lthe images are just gray squares with the proper naming and extension showing. In Loupe mode the same gray image appears.  In the Develop module, the image is there with proper title and information to include the appropriate histogram in color, but the image is just a black square.
    All my drop down menus are there and seem to be working normally.  I can open the images in Photoshop or Bridge and they all appear normal with appropriate color etc. To the best of my knowledge, I have not made any changes within the LR program.  This is the first time for this problem.
    I have researched LR information and problems but cannot seem to find a solution.  Suggestions?

    Jim:
    Thank you so much for giving me some recommendations.  I did try the
    suggestion link, and that did not seem to fix the problem.  However:
    It appears the problem did stem from a corrupt monitor ICC profile.   I
    just stumbled on a possible fix via Google and it appears to work.  If you
    should be faced with this from another PC user with Windows 7, the fix that
    worked for me is:
    1.)  Bring up your monitor resolution profile selection.  If you have more
    than one monitor bring the resolution profile up on each monitor separately
    to ensure there is a "fix" on each monitor, one at a time.
    2.)  Go to "Advance Settings"
    3.)  Go to "Color Management " tab and click on "Color Management".
    4.)  Color management dialogue box opens and then go to that dialogue
    box "Advance" tab
    5.)  Go to Windows Color System Defaults
    6.)  Go to "Device Profile" drop down box
    7.)  Review the multitude of profiles listed there and select the profile
    that is identified as "System Default":
    8.)  For my Dell S2440L monitors the default is "System default (sRGB
    IEC61966-2.1)"
    9.) Select the identified system default profile using a double click, then
    close.
    The primary monitor that I normally use to display LR had a different
    setting.  How that happened I have no clue.  I managed to check this on the
    secondary monitor and noticed that the "Device Profile" was different from
    the primary monitor.  I changed the secondary monitor to the correct device
    profile, and it appears to be working normally.  Interestingly enough, I
    was having the problem of grayed out images regardless of what monitor was
    being used, but it appears LR takes its information from the designated
    primary monitor.
    Thanks again, and I hope this helps.

  • Problem with iPhone mail viewing images

    Hi,
    Since I upgraded to iOS 5 I cannot view images attached on any mail. I'm using GMAL as my mail account.
    Is anyone having the same problem?
    Thanks all.

    Chris,
    Thanks for the quick reply. I clearly changed the passcode in my iPhone and must have in my Mac.  They are both running off our private secure network (appears with the lock), so I must have saved the new passphrase. Can't think how it would work otherwise.
    I have logged into the Linkysys console and confirmed the passcode.  Problem is that when we enter this my husband's new iiPhone, it just doesn't work.  Comes back with a message that either the account or password is in error. I've checked the spelling on his account name, compared all setup data to my phone, and the only difference is the password, which I can't see.
    So, my problem is both mail on the iPhone and WiFi because my husband's phone won't switch over when he enters the house, as it should from 4G. Do you know of any of these programs that will allow you to "reveal" your actual pass phrases/words for an application?  I didn't realize that the characters might be of different lengths than the passwords themselves, which makes sense.  However, it doesn't explain why mine would work and my husband's would not.  I tried going into the Linsys console through my iPhone hoping that it would reveal what password I was using and it gave me the one for the network -- same one that will not verify on my husband's new phone.  Could anything else be interfering?  I've gotten his other mail accounts set up, but Comcast (being our ISP and his primary email account) is by far the most important and just not cooperating?
    Thanks,
    MamaGianna

  • Problems with viewing full-size images on Google...

    When I search in images, and click "see full-size image", sometimes the file will be downloaded to my hard drive as a JPG, and then Preview opens up to view it. This never used to happen...the image would always just show up on a new page in the browser.
    Does anyone know what's going on?

  • Firefox saves images to wrong location, but only when using "View Image"

    For a while, I have had the problem above. I can save images just fine if I don't use the "view image" function first, with the images going to the intended folders.
    Just to clarify, unlike some of similar problems I have seen described here, I am perfectly happy with Firefox remembering where I wish my pictures to go, on a site to site, or model to model (within the same site) basis.
    The problem lies in that if I use the "view image" function, either in a new tab, or in the existing one, Firefox will often prompt me to save in a random folder where I have previously saved a picture. It will even suggest folders that I have not accessed for days.
    Example:
    I save image A to folder A, by right clicking the image and selecting "save image as".
    I then (immediately after this), right click image A again, select "view image", then right click the resulting picture, and select "save image as". Now there is a fine chance that it want me to save the image to some other (previously used) image folder, even if I have not used the folder for a while, and even though I have just saved the same image to folder A.
    This problem persists with multiple image file types, on multiple sites (I just tried it with someones avatar in this forum, and it wanted me to put it with my holiday pictures from 3 weeks ago).
    I appreciate any assistance you can give - jinxie
    FYI; If I "one-click" a file (like an mp4) to download it, it goes to my main / default download folder as normal.

    This is because Firefox will track where you have saved images or other files from the website domain. Then whenever you select to save the file to your computer, Firefox will start the Save As wizard in the latest folder that you have used last time.
    Here is an example:<br>
    If you save an image from the domain <code>123.com</code> into the folder <code>123</code> it will save there. Then you save an image from the domain <code>456.com</code> to the folder <code>456</code>. Next you save a different image from the domain <code>123.com</code>. The save as wizard will assume that you want to save it with the other image from that domain and will automatically start in the <code>123</code> folder.<br>
    This can make saving files faster and more organized, however not everyone wants this feature enabled.
    To disable this feature you can do the following:
    #Go to <code>about:config</code> in Firefox
    #Locate the <code>browser.download.lastDir.savePerSite</code> string
    #Change the value to <code>false</code>
    This should fix the issue, but please report back if it doesn't.

  • Is there a way to view image numbers in iPad photos, either of images taken with the iPad or of images copied into Photo (or camera roll) on the iPad?

    Is there a way to view image numbers (metadata) on the iPad Photo app, distinguishing those taken with the internal camera from those downloaded from external camera or copied from an email?

    sberman: My iMac is running iTunes 11.0.2 already. As well, the Photos tab in the iTunes window shows that "Sync Photos from" is un-checked. And in the box to the right of it is the greyed-out empty folder that I previously synced to in order to remove photos from the Camera Roll.
    Ralph9430: I did a reset (Home + Sleep) earlier when I was trying everything I could think of. I have also re-synced a couple of times. No luck.
    Thanks anyway. I was hoping someone out there would tell me they've experienced the same problems (non-functioning DELETE button, and persistent data in Photo Library), even if they haven't found a solution. Then I could assume it's a iOS 6 bug. All I can think of to do next is a full iPad restore.

  • When using private browsing to view image results in Safari 5.1.3, only the first two rows of results are visible, the following four or so rows display greyed out place holders, and the safe search button is inoperable. Suggestions?

    When using private browsing to view image results in Safari 5.1.3, only the first two rows of results are visible, the following four or so rows display greyed out place holders, the remainder of the results page is blank, and the safe search button is inoperable. When I turn off private browsing and refresh the page, everything works again.
    Anyone else having this problem?

    I have got the same behaviour after the last Safari Update to 5.1.3. It seems that Safari now handles some scripts in a new way. If you debug the Google Website, you will see, that there is some Javascript Error, that seems to prevent to write into local cache. After some searching I wasn't able to finde a solution for this problem, other then disabling Javascript while private browsing to prevent the script loading. You then are able to use Google with the old layout. The option to disable JavaScript can be found in the Menu "Developer", wich has to be enabled in Safari in the options first.
    In my opinion this is a bug that is now occuring, because Apple changed something in private browsing and that has to be fixed by Google now, to run again. Or we will have to wait for 5.1.4, as you can read online Apple will change and bugfix the javascript engine in that version, perhaps this fixes the problem as well. I hope so!
    If anyone is in the developer program perhaps you could test this with the beta of 5.1.4 and tell us if it works.

  • How to view images from application's path?

    Hello,
    I am using the codes below to view images from an ACCESS database listed as ".\image.png", the images are included in the application's path. I'm able to view the images while running crystal reports alone; However when I include the same report and databse in my VB.NET application, the images don't show. I was told that the report looks for the images in a temp folder, an alternative solution would be to copy the image files to a temp folder before attempting to run the report, but so many things can go wrong with such approach. Do you have a better solution to this problem?

  • Problem in displaying images one by one in JList

    I have a problem in displaying images one by one in Jlist. I want to show 100 images as a thumbnailview in jlist but it is talking too much time to show all the images after scalling 100 images to thumbnail view and making it into ImageIcon. So, i thought that it would be better way to show one by one after scaling it into thumnailview. But my renderer is getting calling after 100 images scaled down and setting into list. I have posted my code 2 days back but there is no reply.
    http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=789943
    I donno where i am missing in this code.
    Plz suggest me some solution for it.

    Where is the scaling done? In the ListCellRenderer? Regardless of where that is being done, I assume you are caching the scaled images after you scale them, right? If not, consider adding some sort of caching.
    This should do the trick...
    Rework your ListCellRenderer to check to see if a scaled version of the image is available. If not, start a thread to do the scaling and create an ImageIcon. In the meantime, while that thread is running, have the renderer return some sort of stock icon, like a little generic image icon. When the scaling thread completes, make a call to repaint() on the JList so the cell renderer gets re-asked for the icons. This time around, the renderer should notice that a scaled version (the ImageIcon) is available. Return that. So, this method doesn't guarantee that the images will be produced in order, 1...2...3..., but it will return images as they become available, and the overall JList rendering won't wait until all 100 are ready. If you want them returned in order, just do all of the scaling in a single thread and queue up the images to be scaled, in order.
    I hoped this helps. (If it does, please throw me some Duke Dollars.)

  • Problem Displaying an Image in a JScrollPane

    Hi All,
    I've placed a Toolbar at the bottom of a JFrame and above the toolbar I placed a JTabbedPane. In one of the tabs I want to display a full sized image.The size of the image that I want to display using a scroll pane is 595x842 pixels. Now the problem is that when I display the image in the scroll pane the bottom toolbar is overlapped with the scrollpane. I don't want to resize the image as it is spoiling the image quality.I used the below code
    JPanel imagepagepanel=new JPanel()
        protected void paintComponent(Graphics g)
              js=new JScrollPane();
              Point p = js.getViewport().getViewPosition();
              g.drawImage(demoicon.getImage(), p.x, p.y, null);
    mytabbedpane.addTab("View Image",js); //add the scrollpane to the tabI even tried using a label to display the image in the tabbedpane and I've got the same overlapping problem.
    I am able to embed the default browser in my application using JDIC API and the image display is fine in the browser without overlapping the bottom toolbar. But I don't want to use a web browser to display the image.
    It would be of great help if anyone could suggest a solution to the overlapping problem. I want the scroll pane to work similar to a web browser while displaying a large sized image.
    Thanks in advance.

    Override the paintComponent method to just draw the
    image at 0, 0, w, h.
    The rest is not needed, to say the least.Here's an easier way
    import javax.imageio.ImageIO;
    import javax.swing.*;
    import java.awt.*;
    import java.io.File;
    import java.io.IOException;

                 label2.setFont(new Font("San Serif",Font.BOLD, 40));
                tabbedPane.add("Label",anotherPanel);
                mainPanel.add(tabbedPane, BorderLayout.CENTER);

                tBar.add(new Button("Maybe"));
                tBar.add(new Button("No"));
                mainPanel.add(tBar, BorderLayout.SOUTH);
                  } catch (IOException e) {

  • Viewing Images in PDF.....

    Dear All,
    Sometimes I can't view images in PDF that I created in Illustrator by making PS and PDF. But it get viewing when am selecting "OVERPRINT PREVIEW" in Advanced Tab in Adobe Acrobat.
    can anyone explain what is the reason? and what settings that I have to check in PS and PDF settings.
    If its not clear, let me know.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Regards
    Sa2398

    The reason why is that there is a element on top of your image that is defigned in overprint.
    So the only way to preview this right in Acrobat is with overprint preview on.
    I dont think there is a problem with your file.

    I cannot view images in emails on multiple accounts from different sites (Gmail, AOL Mail, Hotmail) on Safari and Firefox on my Macbook. I have the same problem. Since a while I can no longer view images in html emails even though it was set to do so in the prefs. I am considering ditching the plist file but am concerned that I will lose more valuable info (like account passwords and such). What does the pref file (plist) hold?
