Problem of AutoSumbit of inputText in a table

Question

Hi,
I have a table which includes a column with inputText to allow user enter numerical values; there is a requirement when user input new value(or change the value) on each row, a total value out of table will be updated with ajax call. I couldn't make it working, there are three problems:
1) I have some required input fields out of table, even I put immidate="true" on the inputText field in the table, the validation messages still displayed.
2) To make progress I removed all the required="true" attribtues for those fields, now valueChangeListener method is invoked, but the new values of the inputTexts are not populated to back bean ( when I debug).
3) The target field is not updated, how to specify the partialTriggers if the trigger fields are in each row of a table?
I am using 10g, here is sample code:

"Try setting partialTriggers property to table id", no good, still not update.
"Have you tried valueChangeEvent.getNewValue() method to get the value entered in input text component?", This is a workaround, only if user doesn't care which row is changed.

"Setting Immediate to true on input text component inside table doesn't help, you can try enclosing table in form and other outside components in seperate form". For this case, it might work, even I don't like it. But outside table I have three input fields:
condition: accountId, accountShortName, accountName, accountId is required, not every account have accountName or accountShortName, so they are not required,
use case: when user enter any one of them, an ajax call auto complete fill in other two if possible, and the accountId has a dialog popup, which user can choose an accountId from a table.
1) Now the required="true" bother me a lot, even when I click popup, it shows required message
2) After the user choose the accountId, even I click other field, the ajax call is not triggered.
