Problem redeploying: Deployment incomplete null

I have a very simple Fusion Web Application.
It consists of a Web Service Data Control, based on a Siebel Contact WSDL.
I make a simple JSF page that uses this Data Control to show some Contact info.
The first time I deploy to the embedded Weblogic (by running the JSF page), everything works OK.
After making only the smallest ajustment (i.e. dragging another field on the JSF page) I get problems redeploying like this:
[11:39:06 AM] Deploying 2 profiles...
[11:39:07 AM] #### Deployment incomplete. ####

I have no clue to what the problem is here, or where to look for clues...
I'm using JDeveloper 11.1.1.2.0

The only solution I have found so far is to delete the aquila directory under the o.j2ee\drs. This was not a problem with previous releases?

I have create a simple application which is erroring out with following error when trying to run it second time.
    ### Deployment Incomplete

Everytime I have to delete the application from <systemfolder>/o.j2ee/drs folder. Once deleted from this location it runs fine for first time. Again the same error.
    Thanks,

If the problem is indeed because of the "too long directory path" then the solution is to set the JDeveloper User Directory to a shorter path.
(see the install guide). This means something like C:\temp instead of whatever it is right now.

We are having a similar issue.  We have been able to deploy non-BI content on our setup.  There seems to be a problem with the BI plugin piece.

  • Problem while deploying BPMN to Weblogic

I am trying to deploy a reasonably complex Oracle BPM application (BPMN) to Weblogic 10.3.4 server installed on RHLinux 5. The issue is I am getting a connection timeout exception in the deployment log and hence the deployment fails.

Do you have an appropriate SSL cert installed on the server? Does it work if you view the page using https (shouldnt be needed if you have an SSL cert)? Does it work in other browsers like FireFox? What does your crossdomain.xml look like?
I had a similar issue once with IE, but not FireFox. Viewing the page as https solved it, and then later installing an SSL cert on the server eliminated that requirement.
Note: I didn't read your services config, but I assume it's good since it works on localhost.

  • Problems with Deploying the Tutorial

    Hi,
i've tried to develop a small web service on the Oracle Application Server. Therefor i've tested the Tutorial Developing, Deploying and Managing Web Services Using JDeveloper and Oracle Application Server (http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/obe1013jdev/ws/wsandascontrol.htm).
But i've several problems with this tutorial...
In the tutorial is mentioned to use J2EE 1.4 JAX RPC, but with this one i cant deploy on my Application Server - only local embedded works. On the Application Server i get the message:
    #### DCM command did not complete successfully (-8)
    #### HTTP return code was -8
Exit status of DCM servlet client: -8
Elapsed time for deployment: 22 seconds
    #### Deployment incomplete. #### 28-Sep-2006 16:29:04
After searching the forum i found the reason for this...
Unable to deploy web-service from JDeveloper to Oracle AS
Okay so i tried to develop the same example under J2EE 1.3... Now i can deploy the example on the Application Server but it doesn't work either! When i call the webservice i recieve the error:

    Another Problem occurred...
As i mentioned deploying direct to the AppServer from JDeveloper works well (for the J2EE 1.3) but only that it doest work on the Application Server. So I tried to deploy a ear/war file and check them manuell into the Application Server. But doesn't work either...
    I get the following error:

  • Problem while deploying new logon screen par file via NWDS

    hi
i have a problem with deploying .par files out of the NWDS.
i want to change the look of the logon screen in our EP Portal (SAP NetWeaver 2004s).
when i just import the (working one) par file into NWDS and deploy it without ANY changes i get then an error when trying to call the portal:
instead of the logonscreen i get some IView error (like IView: N/A).
if i just copy the par file, and put it back to the pcd, everything works fine.
my problem seems to be the "compiling/deploying" via NWDS.
    any suggestions?
    i followed the guide:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/23/c0e240beb0702ae10000000a155106/frameset.htm
    i followed also the BLOG:
Modifying The Logon Par(or customising the Logon Screen)
    and the help:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/23/c0e240beb0702ae10000000a155106/content.htm
    thanks for your help.
    markus

    Markus,
If you import the par file using NWDS, most likely you wouldn't import the associated jar files (I think 2 jars) that are originally part of the par file. So, when you make changes and update your custom jar, it would lack the two jars and your application would fail. Try downloading the par file using System Administration -> Support -> PCD Administration -> Browse Deployment..
Save the jar file on desktop and then import it to NWDS.
    Hope this helps,
    Kiran

    Hi Rohit,
You dont have to create a connection to deploy in embedded oc4j. You can simply right click on the jsf page and run.

  • Problems with deployment in 6.1 on  tru64

              Hi,
We are having problems with deployment of web applications in 6.1. We are running

    Hi,
I am using BPM 11g suite and created one sample BPM project. But while deployment I am getting some error and not able to deploy my process.

You'll need to deploy to a server that's in a domain that includes SOA/BPM. The integrated WLS server installed with JDev doesn't include SOA/BPM; which I think is the cause of the message: "No SOA configured servers found"
To be able to deploy you would run config wizard to create a new domain or extend an existing one (but not the integrated JDev server). Another option is to use pre-built VMs that include a server with SOA/BPM installed. There's one for VirtualBox and an AMI/EC2 image available:
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/soasuite/learnmore/vmsoa-172279.html
    http://blogs.oracle.com/bpm/2010/06/bpm_11gr1_now_available_on_ama.html
Regarding role assignment that can be done 2 ways. From JDev BPM Navigator open the Organization node. In there you'll see the list of defined roles. When you select a role you can manage mapping of participants. You'll see a dialog to connect to the server that contains the users/groups. You can also use the BPM Workspace to do role mapping. If you log in as BPM Admin (user weblogic in the default configuration), you'll see an Administration tab. From there you'll see Organization->Roles as one of the options on the left navigation table.
