Problem when removing elements from table after apply sort

Hi,
I have big problem with <af:table> and sorting.
When I removed objects from a table without sorting, there is no problem but when I removed
items from the table after sorting, the remain items are not correct.
For example, i have in my table these items :
Item AA
Item CC
Item ZZ
Item BB
Item AA
Item BB
Item CC
Item ZZ
I sort the table and i select the following Items : Item BB a Item CC
The remains item is only Item AA, Item ZZ disappear.
If i resort the table, the missing Item zz appear again in the table.
Here is my jspx :
<af:table var="row" rowBandingInterval="1" width="1050" rows="5"
rowSelection="multiple"
value="#{pageFlowScope.editNotificationBackingBean.ingredients}"
binding="#{pageFlowScope.editNotificationBackingBean.ingredientsTable}"
autoHeightRows="10" id="t2">
<af:clientListener method="goEditRow" type="dblClick"/>
<af:serverListener type="doubleClickOnRow" method="#{pageFlowScope.editNotificationBackingBean.handleRequestIngredientsSelectBtn_action}"/>
<af:column headerText="#{bundle.col_fr_name}" width="240"
sortable="true" sortProperty="name.FR_Description" id="c1">
<af:outputText value="#{row.name.texts['fr'].value}" id="ot1"/>
</af:column>
In my backing bean i call this method to remove selected elements :
public void unselectBtn_action(ActionEvent actionEvent) {
RowKeySet rowKeySet = selectIngredientsTable.getSelectedRowKeys();
int i = 0;
Iterator it = rowKeySet.iterator();
while (it.hasNext()) {
     Integer index = (Integer)it.next() - i;
selectIngredientsTable.setRowKey(index);
CompositionIngredient compositionIngredient =
(CompositionIngredient)selectIngredientsTable.getRowData();
notification.getProductDetail().getCompositionIngredients().remove(compositionIngredient);
i++;
selectIngredientsTable.getSelectedRowKeys().clear();
AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance().addPartialTarget(selectIngredientsTable);
Thanks in advance.

I have made a mistake, i don't paste the right <af:table> from my jspx.
Here is the correct one :
<af:table var="row" rowBandingInterval="1" width="1050"
rowSelection="multiple" id="tableSelectedIngredients"
value="#{pageFlowScope.editNotificationBackingBean.notification.productDetail.compositionIngredients}"
binding="#{pageFlowScope.editNotificationBackingBean.selectIngredientsTable}"
partialTriggers="::tab_ingredients_list_expressed_per">
<af:column sortable="true" headerText="#{bundle.col_name}" id="c5" width="180"
sortProperty="ingredient.name.FR_Description">
<af:outputText value="#{row.ingredient.name.texts['fr'].value}"
id="ot18"/>
</af:column>

  • Strange problem with removing element from node

    Hi,
    I have a problem when I removed elements from a node.
    here is the code:
    String text = "123456";
    IANode nodeA= wdContext.nodeA();
    wdContext.nodeB().invalidate();
    IBNode nodeB = wdContext.nodeB();
    for(int i=0; i<nodeA.size(); i++)
    IAElement e = nodeA.getEt_Emp_RespElementAt(i);
    if (e.getID().compareTo(text)!= 0)
         nodeB.removeElement(e);
    else
    wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportSuccess(e.getID() + " was not removed");
    The node A does have a row with field "ID" equals to 123456.
    When running the application, it does write that "123456" was not removed...but it removes it....In fact my table is now empty.
    How is it possible if it didn't perform the remove operation for ID = 123456 ?
    Thanks in advance.

    David,
    Because you are iterating node in wrong direction: see my reply to your post Re: Loop problem (seems that you assigns me 2 points without reading reply, and mark it as solved just because you stop solving it
    So, in example in this thread, you must iterate node B in reverse direction, get element from B and remove it from B if it has some specific ID.

    In our environment problem with remove task from schedule by PWA.
    Problem is only when I want to remove few task in the same time, but the operation one by one is correct.
    In my opinion problem is with calculation schedule after remove tasks, column ID include wrong value it means that Number ID does not generate in the correct order same of numer
    disappear. Click Calculate button on ribbon causes problem with finshed operation and save project.
    Problem occurs only machine with IE 11.0 browser without compability mode, on other machine for example on the same project with IE 8,9,10 everything is correct.
    Problem appeared recently, earlier everything was OK.

    Hi Darius,
    I'm a bit confused. You are now talking about 2 issues.
    For the first one, you cannot edit anymore tasks in PWA, with any browser versions? Is it happenonog for any users on any projects? Try the following solutions publish the project from Project Pro and see if it helps. Press CTRL F5 to delete IE cache. Ensure
    that your PWA URL is added to the trusted site and/or compatibility sites. Check for the ULS logs or javascript errors.
    For the second issue, please refer to my previous reply, this obviously cannot be considered as a bug since it is happening with a non supported browser version and working properly on supported versions of IE.
    Hope this helps,

  • Transform path error when uninstalling 8.1.2 after applying security update

    I have been testing a customized install of 8.1.2 and noticed that when you try to remove 8.1.2 after applying the latest security update, an error pops. "Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid". Looking in the registry you can see an odd entry in the "TRANSFORMS" string value entry under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\INSTALLER\PRODUCTS\68AB67CA7DA73301B7448A2100000030\. The value is changed to "@AcroRead.mst;C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 8.0\Setup Files\{AC76BA86-7AD7-1033-7B44-A81200000003}\RdrSU.mst" after applying the security update. You can edit the path to remove everything after @AcroRead.mst and then the software can be uninstalled. This problem does not happen if the install is not customized using a transform. I would like to deploy this software with the security update but do not want problems removing the software in the future. Please advise...

    I don't have a solution but found the exact same problem when I was testing security update 1 for a customised 8.1.2 deployment.
    I have decided NOT to deploy the update until it is fixed (or released as an MSP file so I can patch the MSI)
    I tried to contact Adobe support (UK) but they were not interested as we don't have a support contract :-(

  • Problems with retrieving data from tables with 240 and more records

    Hi,
    I've been connecting to Oracle 11g Server (not sure exact version) using Oracle 10.1.0 Client and O10 Oracle 10g driver. Everything was ok.
    I installed Oracle 11.2.0 Client and I started to have problems with retrieving data from tables.
    First I used the same connection string, driver and so on (O10 Oracle 10g) then I tried ORA Oracle but with no luck. The result is like this:
    I'm able to connect to database. I'm able to retrieve data but from small tables (e.g. with 110 records it works perfectly using both O10 and ORA drivers). When I try to retrieve data from tables with like 240 and more records retrieval simply hangs (nothing happens at all - no error, no timeout). Application seems to hang forever.
    I'm using Powerbuilder to connect to Database (either PB10.5 using O10 driver or PB12 using ORA driver). I used DBTrace, so I see that query hangs on the first FETCH.
    So for the retrievals that hang I have something like:
    (3260008): BIND SELECT OUTPUT BUFFER (DataWindow):(DBI_SELBIND) (0.186 MS / 18978.709 MS)
    (3260008): ,len=160,type=DECIMAL,pbt=4,dbt=0,ct=0,prec=0,scale=0
    (3260008): ,len=160,type=DECIMAL,pbt=4,dbt=0,ct=0,prec=0,scale=1
    (3260008): ,len=160,type=DECIMAL,pbt=4,dbt=0,ct=0,prec=0,scale=0
    (3260008): EXECUTE:(DBI_DW_EXECUTE) (192.982 MS / 19171.691 MS)
    (3260008): FETCH NEXT:(DBI_FETCHNEXT)
    and this is the last line,
    while for retrievals that end, I have FETCH producing time, data in buffer and moving to the next Fetch until all data is retrieved
    On the side note, I have no problems with retrieving data either by SQL Developer or DbVisualizer.
    Problems started when I installed 11.2.0 Client. Even if I want to use 10.0.1 Client, the same problem occurs. So I guess something from 11.2.0 overrides 10.0.1 settings.
    I will appreciate any comments/hints/help.
    Thank you very much.

Installing 11g client changed something that even using old 10g client (which I still have installed) fails to work. The same problem occur no matter I'm using 10g or 11g client now. Powerbuilder hangs on retrieving tables with more than like 240 records.
    Thanks.

    hello guys i face a problem when i upgrade from iOS 4.2.1 to iOS 5.1.1 on ipad 3 .when i upgrade i don' t found the camera app from the built in apps.when i try to install from the app store i don't  found the correct camera app .please help me .please give any suitable link where i find the correct camera app

    It's a built-in app, so it can't be deleted nor downloaded from the store. If you can't find it on any of your homescreens or app folders, and you can't find it via the spotlight search screen (swipe your first home screen to the right), then is it hidden by Settings > General > Restrictions > Camera being set 'off' ?
    If not then have you tried a reset to see if you can find it after the iPad has restarted ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

  • EVDRE error "encountered problem when retrieving data from webserver"

    Hi,
    in a EVDRE we always get the error "encountered problem when retrieving data from webserver"
    When analysing this further we noticed this is always generated when a base member is selected in the CV and the expansion on the row for this dimension is has one of the following expansion settings:
    DEP
    ALL
    NOEXPAND
    if we select SELF, the error disappears again and the EVDRE works fine again ... is this normal behavior?
    there is no problem with application nor dimension.
    D
    solved it

    Note that the keyword "ALL" does not include the member itself. This may cause some confusion, but as Harish implies, when you select a base member it finds no matches if your memberset is "ALL".
    If you want to design a report to handle the user moving back and forth between base and non-base members in their CV, you either need to include SELF,ALL or SELF,DEP, or something similar....
    OR you need to get a little fancier, and use EVPRO to look and see if the CV member is base -- evpro(app,member,"CALC") -- and then use some conditional logic in Excel to choose the correct expansion options. If Calc=N, use Self, otherwise use SELF,DEP or whatever you choose. This can be a bit tricky if you then want the user to be able to drill down in the report (especially if you want the workbook option to insert add'l rows on the expansion, rather than replace), but it's all possible.

  • Emergency!! How to remove elements from a set? or..?

    How do I remove elements from a Set?
    If I have Set s1and s2, I want to create a new set which consist of all elements in s1 but not in the s2.
    Which means, I have to s1.union(s2) and then remove elements of s2.
    Is there any method which has this function (remove elment from a set)?
    Or is there any other better way to solve this (which doesn't have to remove anything)?
    If not, how to design a method which will do this job?
    Your help will be very much appreciated.

    Hi
    you can use method removeAll() from set
    s1.removeAll(s2);
    so s1 contains all the element not in s2.
    If you want to lef s1 unmodifyed you have to create a copy.
    Set s3 = s1.clone();
    s3.ramoveAll(s2);
    bye

  • JTable sorting - problem when adding elements (complete code inside)

    Im writing this email with reference to a recent posting here but this time with the code example. (I apologize for the duplicated posting this time it will be with the code)
    Problem: when adding more elements to the JTable (sorted) the exception: ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException is thrown.
    Example: If the elements in the table are 10 and then the user requests for 8 the table will produce the correct result. However, if the user will ask for 11 items (>10) the exception will be thrown.
    The program: The program below (compiles and running). A JTable is constructed with 3 items, when you click the button - the return result should be 4 items - this will generate the error, WHY?
    I would highly appreciate your thoughts why this is happening and most importantly how to fix it.
    Thanks a lot

    The table listens to the TableModel for changes. Changing the table by adding/removing
    rows or columns has no affect on its table model. If you make changes to the table model
    the table will be notified by its TableModelListener and change its view. So tell
    MyTableModel about the change of data:

  • Pages 5.0 removing images from tables.

    After upgrading to Pages 5.0 I now receive a message when opening any file with a table that has images in the cells.  Basically Pages is removing all images from table cells.  Anyone having this problem and is there an easy fix?

    DrBrian, this is what I did to resolve this issue.  I found out that we may still have Pages 09 installed on our systems! Go into Finder - Applications.  If you have a folder titled iWork 09 click it and you may find Pages 09 there.  Double click to open Pages version 09 where you will be able to open all of your files just as they should be.
    I will not be using the new Pages upgrade.  I have too much time invested in creating documents and templates for my business and I am not willing to re-learn a new package which has much less functionality.  Hope this helps you.
