Problem while creating an OU from LDAP client, in Oracle Virtual Directory

Hi,
1. I have created a Custom Adapter with root (i.e. dc=mycompany,dc=co,dc=in)
2. Trying to create an "OU" under these above root (i.e. ou=test,dc=mycompany,dc=co,dc=in) using the LDAP client.
I have given following inputs for the second step:
Dn: ou=test,dc=mycompany,dc=co,dc=in
ou=test
objectClass: top
objectClass: organizationalunit
When I try to perform second step with above inputs its gives following error
"LDAP Error 32 : No Such Object"
Same inputs is valid for SunONE directory server.
Is the above approach is valid for Oracle Virtual Directory?
Does any one faced same problem before?

You're going to have to install the Oracle client on the Win2000 box before doing anything else. Once you've done that, simply add a TNS name that points to the database on the Solaris box (the Net8 Configuration Assistant) can walk you through this. Finally, you'll go to the ODBC Data Source Administrator and create a new DSN.
Note that if you install the latest ODBC driver, the 'service name' text box that you have to fill in when you actually create the DSN has been replaced with a combo box, which should make the process a little easier.

Hi Prateek.
You were right.....
The problem was with the data that I was passing. I was passing OR as the document type, which internally was being converted to TA.
It was creating the SO successfully because I was using the transaction se37 and this is where OR was converted to TA.
But if we use va01 to create the SO, we get this error.

Problems while creating local service order on client in MAM

I have MAM2.5 on PC. I have created a local notification and synced it. based on that notif , I am trying to create a service order.But after Sync , I get following error in monitor (merep_mon on MI server) under MAM_001:
Return code from RFC BAPI Wrapper call:Business area required (Please enter)
Return code from RFC BAPI Wrapper call:Service/maintenance order type PM02 not completelymaintained in plant 4510
Return code from RFC BAPI Wrapper call:Business area required (Please enter)
While creating service order on backend , we have to fill in the business area. but I dont see any such option on client. may be it picks up the business area from some other detail ( like equipment / personnal number ) ..If so , which from where does it pick that?

Hi,
You may try this option which might allow you to create orders without business area in the client;
In the back-end, Goto,
SPRO>Plant Maint. & customer service>maintenance & service orders>Define field selection for order header data.
Uncheck the business area from required field.
If it still doesnt work, goto tcode KOT2_OPA and click on change field selection and then remove the required check from business area.

Problem while Consuming Java Webservice from WCF client

I am trying to Consume Java Webservice from WCF client.The webservice main functionality is digital data management.The client can Query Digital data and upload digital data by calling webservice methods.Problem is when i am trying to call webmethod from WCF client its giving "Unrecognised message versions".I have no idea about how the message objects are processed at serverside.but at server side they have used JAXP for XML document parsing.
The response content type is Multipart/related and applicatio/XOP+XML.
Can u plz help me how to handle this situation.I have minimum knowledge in Java WS architecture.Basically i am .Net programmer.
Can U please guide me in a proper way to resolve the problem.

I am using a java program to call a webservice too. And I have generated the client proxy definition for Stand alone proxy using NWDS. When I call the method of the webservice I am getting the correct result but along with the result I am getting one error and one warning message in the output.
The java code to call the webservice is as follows.

The import javax.xml.rpc.encoding is never used     MIDadosPessoaisSyncBindingStub.java
The constructor BaseRuntimeException(ResourceAccessor, String, Throwable) is deprecated     MIDadosPessoaisSyncBindingStub.java

Updation problem while creating multiple objects from enterprise portal

Hi All,
From enterprise portal i am calling an RFC 'BAPI_PROJECT_MAINTAIN' to create objects .
While trying to create multiple objects simultaneously it gives error "sapuser is currently using, can't be created".
It seems like as i am creating multiple objects by calling RFC repeatedly , while the first one is not updated fully i am sending the second value to be processed.
Pl. tell me how to overcome this. Do I need to add any sleep time in EP or any other method is there in SAP to overcome this situation.

Problems while creating a project from a war file...

Hi there, I created a new project in jDev 10.1.3 from a war file that contains a web site that originally ran on TomCat. The problem is that my web.xml file does not contain any information about the servlets that I have in the war file. So when I try running a servlet, I always get an error.
Is there a way to bypass the need to declare every single servlet I have in the web.xml file? If not, are there tools that exist that I could use to do this automatically?

1. Give the fully qualified domain name of the DTR server host in NWDS Preferences->Development Configuration.
2. Check if your WAS and JDI are on a higher SP level. If yes then use the corresponding NWDS.

Problem while creating Excel sheet from TSQL

Hi,
I am trying to create an excel sheet using tsql in production server, script is running without any error however when i am trying to open the excel file it is giving an error that may be the file is corrut or in used by some other process or is read
only.
Same script is running fine on test server and i am able to open it. i am having SYSADMIN rights on both the servers.
i think there are some OLE DB driver issue.
using TSQL (SP_OA.... procedures) to create the excel file.
System information:
OS: 64 bit; SQL Server 2005: 32 Bit; Office 2010: 32 Bit.

Might be a stretch but your situation looks like one I encountered earlier. Are you running this in a SSIS? Your office is 32 bits but your OS is 64 bits, when running a SSIS from the agent under a 64 bit system and accessing and access
a 32 bit driver, you must check the option to "Use 32 bit runtime" under execution option.
If this is not the case, I would look for an option to execute in 32 bit mode or see if there are available 64 bits drivers.

Problem while creating script form - lang EN is not available in client 800

Hi friends,
I getting a problem while creating a script form in SE71.
if I give the name of the script (zform1) and clicked on create then its giving an information message like " Form ZFORM1 language EN is not available in client 800".
But if I use this form in the abap program its giving stop message "Form ZFORM1 language EN is not active and has no errors" and the control is coming out of the program.
What could be the problem and how to solve it friends . Please help me.

Hi There,,
By default all the forms will be there in client 100, if you are using the exisiting form and making a Z copy of the same,, then first you will have to copy from the client 100 to 800.
If you are creating the form right from the scratch,, you will that message,,but need now worry about that..
go head and create the Zform, don't forget to activate the form, before calling in the driver program.
In the driver program,, call the function modules to invoke the form and activate the driver program as well. then you are all set/

Error in creating New Entry from the Client in NW Mobile 7.1

Hi All,
I have created a mobile application for Laptops in NW Mobile 7.1.
I have a requirement to create an entry from the client, i.e., I need to create a PR in the client. The model bindind, the backend adapters, bapi wrappers are in place.
I have used the standard create BAPI for PR and wrapped it in a BAPI wrapper. I just have to give the PR details and save the entry in the client. The BAPI wrapper has the logic for generating the new PR number.
My problem here is, when I try to create a new PR, give the details and save, the entry is not getting updated in the backend and the sync state is '201'.
I checked the "Message Monitoring" in the NW Mobile Administrator for the particular SWCV.
For this create PR transaction, the particulars are as below
Message State: Error - Stop Flow
Message Type: Transaction
Error: "Error occurred while fetching synckeys from table ZDOE01700000SL"
"ZDOE01700000SL" is the Sync key look up table for PR(my data object).
Please let me know where I have gone wrong and guide me in rectifying this problem.

Hi Sunil,
From my understanding, looks like you are not filling synckey when you are creating a PR in your client. Synckey is a unique key on the DOE using which you can uniquely identify any node.
There are two scenario's atleast as I know, where this error would have come.
Case 1. If you are modifying something on client, which has been send by DOE, then you are not supposed to change synckey because it is a primary key. Now if we assume that you are not modifying synckey but when you are sending an update, check if by any chance the synckey is not going to DOE which is one case, and the second one is, after DOE has end that record to client, someone has cleaned up all the tables on DOE for that dataobject or someone has deleted that entry on the backend because of which the entry has been deleted on DOE. In either case, you are modifying something on client which is actually not present on DOE because of which when the DOE tries to look up based on synckey it doesn't find the needed record.
Case 2. If you are creating something on client, then you are supposed to create a synckey which is a 32 bit character GUID. I think in your case, you are missing the synckey when you are sending it to DOE. Check if there is any API for doing that or you have manually create a GUID and send it.

We are facing problems while creating Web services . The transaction like WSADMIN, WSCONFIG are not there in development server. Its gives message u2018This transaction is obsoleteu2019.
Due to this while creating Webservice, there is and error message . Kindly guide me whats needs to be done.
We have also tried the transaction WSADMIN2 as suggested by SAP, but didnu2019t know wat needs to be done.

Step 1 : Entered Service Registry Parameters in WSPARAM .
Step 2 : In transaction SOAMANAGER->Technical Configuration -->System Global settings
Step3 : From u2018SE80u2019 transaction, selected the package ZHR and then right clicked to create the enterprise service -> Client Proxy (Service Producer)
We have followed steps in se80.Don't know how to proceed further.
We are unable to find the service in soamanger .How to find the service name in soamanager?

Problem while dowloading the file from Application Server

Dear Experts,
I am facing the Problem while downloading the file from Application server.
We done the automatic function while saving the invoice, this will create an idoc, and this idoc is written in the Application Server.
I am running the Transaction AL11 and select the record, and from menu --> List, i am downloading into TXT format.
But for some segments, the length is long, and so the last 3 to 4 fields values are not appearing in the File. Even though i am unable to view the values in the file before downloading. But i can view in IDOC.
Please help me to solve this issue.

but our user will use the Txn. AL11 and they will download from there
Educate the user On a serious note, tell him this is not how data from app server should be downloaded. You can ask him to talk to the basis team to provide him access to the app server folder where the file is being stored.
I can set the Variant and put this in background, But always the file name will be change, Like we use Time stamp in the File name.
You can't automate this process by scheduling in BG mode. This is because the in BG mode you can't dwld the file to presentation server.

Facing a Problem while downloading the data from ALV Grid to Excel Sheet

Hi Friends,
Iam facing a problem while downloading the data from ALV Grid to excel sheet. This is working fine in Development server , when comes to Quality and Production servers I have this trouble.
   I have nearly 11 fields in ALV Grid and out of which one is PO number of length 10 , all the ten numbers are visible in the excel sheet if we download it from development server but when we download it from Quality or Production it is showing only 9 numbers.
Can any one help me out in this case.

if this problems happens dont display the same internal as u finally got.
just create new internal table without calling any standard data elements and domains... but the new internal table s similar like ur final internal table and move all the values to new int table.
for eg.
ur final internal int table for disp,
     data : begin of itab occur 0,
                    matnr like mara-matnr,
               end of itab.
create new like this,
           data : begin of itab occur 0,
                    matnr(12) type N,
               end of itab.
