Problem while displaying popup message while using inputfile component

Hi
I am using JDEV 11.1.1.2.0, using ADF i developed and application
in my page i have a input file component, from which i am taking a csv file and reading it through valuechangeevent of inputfile component. I have used myfaces.trinidad-UploadedFile to get the selected file and read it using inputstream.
I have put some validation check (validation check is done while reading the file using valuechangeevent of the inputfile component), while reading the file and incase i receive any error (validation mismatch), the reading of file stops ... and before doing that i used to display error message using below method:-

i have used the same method to display message in other places where its showing correctly but fails in inputfile component.

Problem in Displaying JOptionpane Message Dialog (JRE 1.5.0_04 or later)

Hi! All,
I am getting a deadlock kind a situation while displaying JOptionpane message dialog. It's very rare to simulate also. I am also posting the Thread dump which i have taken programmatically, when this situation arises.
For your Information, I am using JRE 1.5.0_04 or later version on Windows XP.
We searched on Java.sun.com site, & we got that two bugs are related to our problem, but there are arises in JRE 1.4.2 or before version & have been fixed at JRE 1.5 .
Follwing are the bugs ID in Sun Bugs Database: 4978089, 4828019.
Can anyone suggest me which is the stable JRE 1.5 version to avoid this problem. Also can anyone suggest me the workaround of this problem. I want to fix this in our application ASAP.

It is advisable to remove previous version(s) installations unless required otherwise for a specfic application.

Problem in displaying Alv grid output using oops........

hi,
i have two problems in displaying ALV grid output Using Oops.
1) How to modify the fieldcatalog after we getting a field catalog using general FM.
2) initialy it is displaying 13 fields but there are 63 fields .
eventhough we chage the layout to 63 fields it is displaying only 13 fields , these 13 fields may be different based on our selection but count of displayed fileds are same . how can display 63 fields at a time .

You can chnage using below code:
loop at gt_fieldcat.
if <gt_fieldcat-field_name> = 'FIELDNAME'.
endif.
modify gt_fieldcat.
clear gt_fieldcat.
endloop.
Make sure that all the field should not have no_out = 'X' and tech = 'X'.

Uploading Files Using InputFile Component -- Sometimes not working

Hello,
This is the 2nd time I make a post about it!
Because I have more than 1 application using upload, and everything is correct! But it doesn't work as it should!

I need a solution please!
The only thing we can conclude is that it could be a bug from oracle !!! (???) But I talked with other people and they say that it works fine for them.
There is one important thing: when we put a form to "Uses Upload = true" it seems that the page doesn't work very normal. For exemple: if you use a table in a form that uses upload the table get's "crazy".

I think the problem is caused because of my framework!

Display a message while processing

Hi,
I am processing a lot of files and it take some time to do it. I want to display a message when a file is processing. And one message when the process of all files is finished.
LOOP AT LT_FILES.
CONCATENATE 'File processing: ' LT_FILES-NAME INTO LV_MSG
MESSAGE LV_MSG TYPE 'S'.
PERFORM F_PROCESS_FILE USING LT_FILES-NAME.
ENDLOOP.
MESSAGE 'The files are been processed' TYPE 'S'.
But it doesn't show anything while the files are been processing, just at the end the last message appears. Someone knows how can I do this? Like parallel tasks or something like threads?

Urgent: Issue while displaying the PDF Reports Using XDO Common region

Hi all,
In our product code we are trying to display the PDF Reports, using the xdo common region.
Previously we were writing the pdf reports direclty onto the response direclty.
This displays the report onto the browser but if navigate throw browser back button, it doesn't displays the report as the response stream is empty while navigating through back button.
So to solve this issue, i tried to write the report using the OAHTMLWebBean and xdo common region. Here is the code:

This successfully displays the report in the XDO Common region. But now the issue is that there are hyperlinks in the Report displayed where from where the user can navigate to other detail pages.
When we click on these links, a new session starts in the xdo common region.
Is it possible that when the user click the links in the report displayed, instead of starting a new session in the xdo region, the detail pages is displayed with in the older session.

In our product code we are trying to display the PDF Reports, using the xdo common region.
Previously we were writing the pdf reports direclty onto the response direclty.
This displays the report onto the browser but if navigate throw browser back button, it doesn't displays the report as the response stream is empty while navigating through back button.
So to solve this issue, i tried to write the report using the OAHTMLWebBean and xdo common region. Here is the code:

Prb display error message while creating PR at ME51n in ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST

I have this requirement to check the cost center availability in PR screen (ME51n).
If cost center in the Account assignment tab is not empty, display error message and not able to create the PR.

Hi,
You have to use definition MMPUR_MESSAGE 'E' ME 303 text-001 w_account_ref-kostl text-002.
This will throw the error during check and save instead of message e303(me) .

Problem with displaying warning message in exit EXIT_SAPMM06E_012

I need in EXIT_SAPMM06E_012 exit display warning message.
I've created klass Y0108MM_Z1 and message 000 in it.
When i display as error message -> message e000(Y0108MM_Z1).
everything is fine.
but when use message w000(Y0108MM_Z1) it doesn't apear.
Please help it is very important for me.

I think message will appear.
For testing please do from the main screen press Alt+F12 > options> options tab --> check " dialog box at warning message " and test your scenrio.
Here warning message appear in a dialog box.

i am using adf11g,jdeveloper 11g.in form i drag and drop one vo.
in that form,for one attribute which is used as LOV,i have written valuechangelistener method.
in that method i wrote some code for validaiton.when validaiton occur i am able to show popup messages regarding particular error.
when any validaiton occur,popup message is coming,but my data is partially submitting to form after showing that error message.
it should not submitted to form in case of any error.
please give me the solution.

5800 Keeps Displaying Popup "Message: number"

Hi,
I've had a 5800 for nearly a year now, and love it. However, for the past 2 days, its been doing something weird, and I'm not sure why. Randomly, and for no reason at all, it will get a popup message on the screen which says 'Message: 0771xxxxx' (my mobile number). Anyone know why? I've not asked it to display, or request my number from Vodafone or anything, this just randomly pops up!
Any suggestions on how to stop this?

does ure country have something like .. STOP or STOP ALL and send to a specific gateway? .. if so, try tat, u can disable any notification msgs from ure telco.

Display a popup message while a loop is running

Can somebody give me some good ideas on how I could create a popup that will appear when a loop is running and then disappear when the loop is finished. I would also like to show a status bar in the popup.

I'd make a sub vi with a case in it. The case has three 'states': Show
Window, Hide Window and NOP (no operation). The sub vi must be a dialog, but
Show window when opend must be off.
The Show Window and Hide Window case should have vi property nodes (no
reference wired, to use it's own reference) with the 'show panel' property
set to true and false. The NOP case is empty.
Wire an enumerated to the case, and wire it's control to the connector pane.
Also wire a status control to the connector pane.
Put the sub vi before the while loop, with the Show Window option. The sub
vi will show (perhaps you also want to initialise the status indicator in
the Show Window case).
In the loop, put the sub vi with the status control wired to the actual
value, and NOP to
the window control.
When done (after the while loop, but be carefull about race conditions, )
put the sub vi with Hide Window wired to it. (Put the enumerated inside the
while loop and wire it through the while loop to the sub vi to prevent
this.)

Display a message while loading using EMBED tag

Hi
I am using an Embed tag to pull a pdf from the backend. the pdf files are huge so it takes time to load and I want a loading message to be displayed till the form is completely loaded, so i am using onload attribute of Embed tag, but i dont think its firing because i still see the "loading" message even after the page has loaded...
