Problem while importing a web service model.

Hi
I am building a simple send email application using a web service.
While creating a new model i am using following options.
step 1 - Select "Import Adaptive web service model"
step 2 - Select Wsdl Source
2.1 - Local file system or URL
Step 3 - No logical destination
step 4 - choose wsdl file from file system.
Process successfully done and model created.
BUT
when i am trying to run this application it is throwing file not found exception. i.e. not able to locate wsdl file.
java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\AbysalEmail.wsdl (The system cannot find the file specified)
I am using remote network connection to access NWDS. and in remote drive C: itself i have saned my file.
Then Why it is not able to locate my file.
Please Help me out.
Thanks.

Hi
I have provided in J2EE Engine visual administrator under
Web Services Security -> Dynamic web services proxies
following configuration.
I have created a new Dynamic web service proxie.
And in it under connection settings -> URL i have specified
http://<host>:<port>/
Above is host name and potr from where my WebDynpro application runs.
But my file is located in C:\
I think i am unable to set mapping configuration
from
http://<host>:<port>/
to
C:\
Where shall i ten keep my WSDL file.!!!
Thanks.

  • Error while Importing a Web Services Model

    Hi,
    I have developed an Web Dynpro application for sending an e-mail message, using an e-mail Web service provided by an external service provider (in this case http://webservices.matlus.com/scripts/emailwebservice.dll/wsdl/IemailService) as provided in the SAP NetWeaver Online Help Documentation.
    When i attempt to import a Web Service (mentioned above ) using UDDI or URL as the WSDL source  i get a error whose description goes as follows
    " Invalid WSDL or WSDL not Found, Please specify different WSDL or Check WSDL location entered in the previous screen"
    There are steps provided for carrying settings changes if my HTTP connection to the e-mail Web service uses an HTTP proxy.
    However this can be done only after the Model (Using Import Web services has been created). The above error does not allow me to proceed to create the Model and do the subsequent HTTP settings
    Can Somebody help in this regard
    Badrinath Parthasarathi

    Valery,
    I have checked the Proxy settings in the DEV studio at Window->Workbench->Proxy Settings and they are in sync with my Browser Proxy settings.
    Yes, I do have to go thru proxy server for Internet access
    Could you advice which proxy settings would i need to carry out.
    Also One question. As i am using a external (Non-Local)Web Service would i need to register the Web Service?
    Would any UDDI Config settings need to be done on my part such as
       -  Setting the UDDI Registery
       -  Creating Users to access UDDI Client
       -  Carrying out related HTTP proxy settings
    Thanks N Regards

  • Error while creation of web service model in web dynpro

    Hi,
    I am getting following error "no services available or local server not accessible"  while creation of web service model.
    I have already created my web service nad deployed it. It was deployed successfully.
    In the web service model creation wizard I am not able to see neither my web service nor any other standard service.
    Regards,
    Anubha Pandey

    Are you using the deprecated Web Services model or the new adaptive web services model?
    Take a look in this document: https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/b2bc0932-0d01-0010-6d8e-cff1b2f22bc7

    Any idea why?
    It runs well in a browser, eclipse and SOAP UI?

    have you create the destination?
    do  you use the wizard to generate code?
    usually there is catch clause for this line of code
    wdContext.currentRequest_SERVICE_MDM_LOOKUPElement().modelObject().execute();

  • Error while creating adaptive web service model

    Hi All,
    There is a requirement where the webdynpro application is deployed in backend system while the web service is created in the front end system. We need to connect to this web service and execute it in our webdynpro application to get response. For this we have created Logical Destination in backend system that points to the web service in the front end system.
    The web service, when tested directly through Web Services Navigator, works fine.
    Here, while creating an Adaptive Web Service Model in the webdynpro application, after giving name, package, destination name etc when I enter wsdl url and click on Next I am getting an error as u201CError in downloading the WSDL fileu201D.
    The error log says u201Ccom.sap.tc.webdynpro.model.webservice.exception.WSModelRuntimeException:Exception on creation of service metadata for WSDL URLu201D.
    Even if I try to create model with url only by selecting u201CNo Logical Destinationsu201D, error remains the same.
    What may be the reason for this and possible solution?
    Appreciate an early response.

  • Problems while consuming a web-service through Netweaver using VPN

    Hi all
    I'm facing a problem while I'm attempting to consume a .NET web-service that is located in a remote server. We've estabished a VPN connection between our Netweaver CE in Linux to the remote office where the web-service is running.
    The problem is, when my application running in Netweaver tries to consume the webservice, it takes the external access to try to reach the webservice URL instead of take the VPN route to do that. ie. my application find an external IP of the webservice instead of finding the internal IP.
    When I ping the webservice URL in linux, it brings me the internal IP, but for some unknown reason, the Netweaver don't find the correct route to reach the webservice.
    Does anyone have any idea or suggestion on what to do?
    Thanks in advance!

  • Problems while invoking a web service

    Hi everybody,
    I need to call a web service and treat its response data. So I'm using OdiInvokeWebService tool, and trying to export the response to an xml file, in order to be able to treat the information. The question is that I just can't get the response, because the response file is empty after doing the call. If I try with the "advanced" option of the tool, the result is the same, doesn't matter which mode of request (xml request or xml file request) I use. But I'm even more worried considering that the process works properly when I use a tool like soapUI, that means, I get a result when I call the web service with this tool. It looks very strange because I used ODI previously with the same goal, and I didn't have any problem working in the same way. So, could somebody help me with this issue?
    Thanks in advance,
    Hibai.

  • Problem while invoking a web service within an XML native database

    Within the eXist dbms, I'm writing a module which implements several extensions to XPath. These extensions must invoke a remote web-service.
    I initially tested a standalone consumer, and everythink worked out successfully. Thus I created a jar, I used the same code in eXist, recompiled it, and started the server. I thus launched an XPath query (containing these extensions), and I received the following exception:

    What does it mean?
    What am I missing?

  • Problem while calling a web service in BOBJ Data services

    Hello Experts,
    I am trying to call a web service in bobj data services. A real time job has been scheduled and published as a web service. I want to consume this service in web dynpro java.
    I tried both the methods the adaptive web services and depricated version. I also tried calling the url directly and with the metadata and execution destinations.
    No matter what I do, I keep getting the following error.
    Exception on execution of web service with WSDL URL 'http://XXXXX:28080/DataServices/servlet/webservices?ver=2.0&wsdl' with operation 'SERVICE_<NAME>' in interface 'Real-time_Services'
    The call never reaches data services system.  If I try to call the service from soapUI (web service testing tool) it works fine.
    I am using SAP NW 7.0 SP22 .
    Here is my code in dynpro to call the service.
         AdaptiveModel mod = new AdaptiveModel();
         Request_SERVICE_MDM_LOOKUP request = new Request_SERVICE_MDM_LOOKUP(mod);
         Query1 query1 = new Query1(mod);
         Response_SERVICE_MDM_LOOKUP response = new Response_SERVICE_MDM_LOOKUP(mod);
         request.setQuery(query1);
         request.setResponse(response);
         List list = new ArrayList();
         DefinitionsTypes_XsdSchema_1__XsdElement_1__XsdComplexType_Sequence1 element = new DefinitionsTypes_XsdSchema_1__XsdElement_1__XsdComplexType_Sequence1(mod);
         element.setCustomer_Name(wdContext.currentContextElement().getCustomerName());
         element.setZip_Code(wdContext.currentContextElement().getZipcode());
         element.setAddr1("");
         element.setAddr2("");
         element.setCity("");
         element.setCountry("");
         element.setState("");
         list.add(element);
         query1.set$002fDefinitions$002fTypes$002fXsdSchema$005b1$005d$002fXsdElement$005b1$005d$002fXsdComplexType$0023Sequence1(list);
         wdContext.nodeRequest_SERVICE_MDM_LOOKUP().bind(request);
          wdContext.currentRequest_SERVICE_MDM_LOOKUPElement().modelObject().execute();
          wdContext.nodeResponse().invalidate();
          wdContext.nodeQueryResponse().invalidate();
          wdContext.nodeSequenceResponse().invalidate();
    Please let me know if you have any pointers on how to solve this.
    Thanks in advance
    Praveen.

    have you create the destination?
    do  you use the wizard to generate code?
    usually there is catch clause for this line of code
    wdContext.currentRequest_SERVICE_MDM_LOOKUPElement().modelObject().execute();

  • Problem with importing Web Service Model

    Hello,
    in my Web Dynpro project I try to import a web service model.
    After choosing the wsdl file the different classes and files are generated but in the Web Dynpro Explorer there is no Model created in the Node Models. Also after reloading and rebuilding the project no model appears.
    In the source folders the generated files exist.
    Does anybody have an idea for solving this problem?
    Cheers, Dennis

    Hi Dennis,
    Restarting your NWDS will bring you the newly created model.
    Thanks,
    Venkat

  • "Import Web Service Model" meets IO exception.

    Hi all,
    I'm trying to import a Web Service Model through tutorial on NWDS version 2.0.9.
    Accident occurs: After the importing process, nothing happenes - NO error message, NO imported model under node "Model".
    But when I do the same thing on my colleague's computer, the model is correctly imported. Actually our computers have the same NWDS version.
    I tried many times. It is always failure on my computer. And even I re-install NWDS, still the same problem.
    I checked the log, which contains such an exception:

    Hi Gangtee,
    Are you working inside a secured network, if yes please check the proxy settings which are shown while NWDS installation.

  • Error when importing Web Service Model

    Hi,
    I am having trouble importing a Web Service model into my Web Dynpro component.
    I have successfully published my SessionBean method as a Web Service which works correctly when used from the Web AS Web Service Navigator.
    However, my Web Dynpro cannot correctly create a model from the WSDL. The problem seems to be with the last parameter of the method, a two-dimensional array of Strings. When importing the web service model, the following line of code get created in the respective Model class:
    logicalPort.generateMetadata(this.getKeywordsAsArray(), this.srcLang, this.getTgtLangAsArray(), ERROR no prop = parameters
    Obviously there is a problem with the code generation for the last parameter (the two-dimensional array) which results in this "ERROR no prop = parameters" message.
    Does anyone have an idea what I might be doing wrong? Is there a problem with multidimensional arrays in Web Dynpro model classes? I originally wanted to use a HashMap but naturally had to use a simple data type - any other ideas for a workaround?
    Cheers,
    Tim

    Hi,
    First, can you check whether you able to access your web service url in browser?
    or
    you can test your webservice from the NWDI Web service perspective, here you can test your web service is correctly functioning or not before using in your Web Dynpro application.
    This document clearly explains How to test the web service url and what is the correct procedure to consume the web service in SAP portal.

  • Web Service Model problem

    I've imported the web service model by an online wsdl provided in the tutorial of sdn. What should I configure in the proxy host and ip so as to make it work? I've tried "proxy", the name of was server, everything, included Stateless and Http cookie based connections, do I need something else or I've made a mistake??
    Thank you very much,

    Hi,
    The problem could be because you unchecked the proxy settings in the Model.
    Go to WebDynproProject> -expand the Model ->Select Logical Ports and open.
    Now on the rightside you can see the "use HTTP proxy" checkbox.Please check the checkbox and redeploy the application.
    for testing just i have used the following code and its working fine for me.
    try{
        Request_SendEmailPortType_sendEmail mail=new Request_SendEmailPortType_sendEmail ();
        mail.setFrom( "Anilkumar");
        mail.setFromAddress("[email protected]" );
        mail.setTo("Vippagunta");
        mail.setToAddress( "[email protected]");
        mail.setMsgBody( "TEst");
        mail.setSubject("TestMail");
        wdContext.nodeSendMail() .bind( mail);
        wdContext.currentSendMailElement() .modelObject() .execute() ;
       catch(Exception e)
