Problem with SUBMIT in Background

Hi,
I want to pass a internal table data to 2nd program from 1st program. I am using SUBMIT 2nd program and i am getting results in foreground , i am not getting in back ground .
will you face this sort of problem ever.

Problem with SUBMIT report [ WITH SELECTION-TABLE ] or [ IN range ]

I am trying to call transaction F.80 for mass reversal of FI documents by using SUBMIT sentence and its parameters like this:

My problem is that when the report is executed the BR_BELNR only delete one document of the all the inputs in the selection criteria from the loop. if I add the statement [ VIA SELECTION-SCREEN] in the SUBMIT if open the multiple selection criteria in the screen I can check that all the documents are set in it from the ABAP code in the loop from it I just need to push F8 to copy them and run the program processing all the documents normally .
Can some one help me with this? is there a way to execute the transaction BY the SUBMIT with the multiple selection criteria for the Document Number working well?

Problem with submit information

i got problem with the javascript function:

After i execute the function i got this message " Object doesn't support this property or method"
it stop at "document.all.formSubmit.action = "\servlet\submitServlet"

On my mainpage.jsp I be able to do:

and it worked fine.
But in my secondpage.jsp, which was redirect by mainpage.jsp. This same codes:

Problem with Submit statement

Hi All,
I have a problem with the usage of the submit statement.
I have a report program, say report 'A'.
In the report program 'A', I have a custom screen with number '9001'.
In the screen 9001, of program A, there is a button to display ALV.
In the PAI event, under module Module call_report, i am calling another report program say B, using the statement Submit B and return, when the button is clicked.
In the report program B i have a select options. and a docking alv container in it.
Flow of the program is:
1. Run the program A.
2. Select the button on screen 9001.
3. Call the report program B.
4. Enter a value in the select option and run the program B.
5. Go back to program A by selecting back button.
The problem is as at step 4.:
Now, when i press Intervals button ( Arrow mark ) present beside the select option, my program B is getting executed and the list output is being shown.
Kindly let me know what is the problem.

you can very well use the submit procedure as suggested above or you also can do "leave to screen '9001' " for the back button.

Problem with Submit statement into print program for delivery

Hi all,
i got a problem with the SUBMIT statement that i put into a print program associated to a delivery output message.
If i print the message by VL02N or VL71, everything works.
But if i associate the output with RV56ABST, the SUBMIT instruction isn't accepted and i get the message
"Processor ABAP: POSTING_ILLEGAL_STATEMENT"
There is any solution to this situation?
Why i cannot use the SUBMIT statement in this case?

you could try to do the operation in a separate task (call a function in starting new task). This will decouple your current process from the new task.

Problem with "Submit to SAP" button in Adobe Form

Hello All,
I have a problem with my Adobe form. The "Submit to SAP" button for some reason does not seems to work in the newer forms. Whenever I click on the button, no action is being triggered. However, when I load older version of the same form, the button will respond.
Has anyone come across similar situation before ? Any suggestions/feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I created different version of the forms (Eg: added new logo, additional table rows etc...) by using the save a copy function in adobe designer. Seems that the original one works but the later ones will no longer respond to the button.
The submit action is also correctly specified in the property of the UI Element. Otherwise it will not work on any forms... is my understanding correct ?

Problem with submit button in wweb dynpro abap

hi all,
we have problem in submit of our interactive form in web dynpro abap.
my scenario.
on event submit we have to fetch data from database table and display the same.
On click of the SUBMIT button for the first time it fetches data but when we change the input field and submit again it dsnt trigger the event(We need to double click only then event is triggered).
Can anyone guide us on how to fetch the data at single click.

The form is open. I should have mentioned that I made sure to check that first. The form was created by uploading an existing PDF file that I created from a MS Word file to Adobe FormsCentral. Once the form was completed, I had a coworker test it & it worked. We sent the form out & I have received some back, but have also received reports of the form not working. I downloaded the form to my computer & tested it using Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Standard. I use a Windows environment on a Dell laptop. The form does not work for me.

The problem is I have something called dynamic selections. I am using some selection fields from the dynamic selection option. Can anyone tell me how do I pass the values in such a case?

NB: Use FREE_SELECTIONS_RANGE_2_EX to build the correct parameter texpr.

Problem with submit button

I have installed Acrobat 9 professional and have created a PDF with field codes embedded. At the top of the last page, I created a button which sends the form and answers to an email account (mailto: command is used). The form works beautifully for me but not for anyone else. There is no protection or other specialized settings enabled. I can fill it in and submit the form with either Reader or Acrobat Pro. Any suggestions or ideas to solve this little problem would be greatly appreciated.

If they are using Reader you must either enable Reader Rights or change the submission to data only (preferred). You did not say if the form was created in Acrobat or Designer. There are significant differences and you need to indicate which you used.

Problem with submit button - Acrobat/Reader

I have created a simple fillable form with Adobe Acrobat XI Pro with a submit button, form posted to the web. The form/button works fine for me in Google Chrome, IE, and Safari (Windows 8, Outlook email client) but doesn't seem to work for users with only Adobe Reader (9 was tested using an older version of Windsows and Outlook). After completing the form successfully, they are returned the error message: "This operation is not permitted" when they attempt to submit their form using the submit button. I'm not sure what program is causing the problem. How do I fix this?

You need to Reader-enable the form using Acrobat. Before Reader 11 was introduced, Reader was not able to save a fille-in form unless the document was enabled. Since the changes need to be saved in order to attach it to an email, this is necessary for previous versions. Do enable a form in Acrobat 11, select: File > Save as Other > Reader Extended PDF > Enable More Tools

Problems with SUBMIT and EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY

I have a program that executes another report using a submit call, then the output of this submit is retrieved to the program using the LIST_TO_MEMORY FM. Source code it's something like this:

             EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY AND RETURN
             WITH SELECTION-TABLE t_params
             USER 'my_user'.
CALL FUNCTION 'LIST_FROM_MEMORY'
     TABLES
         listobject = t_table
     EXCEPTIONS
         not_found = 1
         OTHERS     = 2.
This code works fine if I execute the program in foreground. But when I try to execute the report in background (F9 instead of F8 for example), submit works fine but LIST_FROM_MEMORY returns a NOT FOUND exception instead of the output of submitted program.
So, is it possible to retrieve the output of a program called via submit when the report that executes the submit is executed in background?, how can I retrieve the output of submit when the report is executed in background?

Problem with submit for spool number generation

Hi All,
I have a ALV report which downloads the output to pdf . I have a footer data in the END_OF_PAGE event which should be displayed for each page. It works fine if I take a printout using the print option in the report output screen and generate a spool number the footer is getting printed.
But when I use a submit to sap-spool....statement to generate the spool number the footer is not displayed.
Any suggestions??

Are you using the FM 'REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE' for footer text or simple using the write statements.
try with the both options, still problem provide the complete code.

Problem with cfdocument and background colors with table borders

i am having a great deal of difficulty with cfdocument
rendering my tables with cells that have background colors. the
background colors seem to bleed through the table border. a picture
at 100% magnification can be seen at

Since you are using the item Renderer for the DataGrid Column try to apply the styles dynamically to the background of your itemRenderer by making using of the rollOver and rollOut events.
