Problems on Saving a text file

the "Java Programming" forum is more active compare to "CLDC-MIDP" and "WTK" forum that's why I posted my problem here just case in MIDP programmer dropped by.
My problem is my phone (Nokia 6260) contains MIDP2.0, the problem is, it has no JSR-75/File Connection API... my application is runs perfectly on my WTK2.2 because it has a JSR-75 jar file...
but it wont run on my Nokia 6260 phone because of FileConnection API is missing... my question is, is it possible to install the JSR75 on my mobile Nokia6260 phone?
again, my apology for posting my grievance here...
thank you so much...

You can do it by upgrading your firmware .
If there is upgraded firmware supporting JSR75 then it might solve your problem.

    Need advice on a saving file issue. I'm having problem with saving a .pdf file to computer. Continually get an error message " This document could not be saved. There was a problem reading this document (21). This is new as this error message just recently started to pop-up.

    A "quick" fix that worked for me was to uninstall Adobe... then download the base install for Adobe Reader 11.0.
    Then download each of the individual updates and run them sequentially.
    I've installed back up to the last security update which is version 08 and have been able to do normal Save As operations.
    You will have to disable automatic updates in order to stay at version 08 until Adobe resolves this issue in a later release.

  • Problem in saving modified rtf file in jsp

    hi,
    I have [b]problem in saving modified rtf file in jsp. My scenario is like this:
    I need to open rtf file in jsp and allow user to modify it, after user modifies rtf file in browser, user will press send button. After user pressing send button rtf has to be saved into destination directory(the directory from which its been fetched. I appreciate if any one could send me relevant code for the same.
    thanks
    ram

    1) RTF is not opened in your browser, but in an application that is set to handle the file type (like Word or Wordpad)
    2) from the web you have no control over what that application does
    3) conclusion: what you want is not possible using the web
    Other than that, asking for code without showing that you put some effort into the problem yourself is a sure way of getting flamed. You should know that by now, since you registered more than 2 years ago...

  • Problem with data saving into text file

    Hi,
    The problem I am facing wihile saving the data into text file is that everytime when I am slecting the path from front panel, the data which is being saved is appended with the previous data, i.e. not only in the new text file, the new set of data is saved but also, if there is any previuos run for the program, the corresponding data is also present in that text file.
    However, when I change the same 'control'(file path) to 'constant' in the block diagram, and add the file path, there is no such problem. Basically, changing the "File path" from constant in the block diagram to control (so that it is displayed in the front panel) is causing the problem.
    Please help!
    Thanks

    Your shift register on the For loop is not initialized. It will retain the value of the string from the last time it executed. Initialize that and it should solve your problem.

  • Problem with saving an Ai file to PDF in Illustrator CS4 Professional

    Hello guys, I have an interesting problem.  The machine has Windows Vista Enterprise with the latest updates and office 2007 Pro+.  The version of adobe installed is Adobe CS4 Professional, in which has the Illustrator and Acrobat updated to the latest patches.  This has happened to the user over the weekend; all of the sudden when she tries to save an Ai file to PDF, it hangs not even bringing up the dialog box.  However, in all the other Adobe programs are able to save it as a PDF.    Now I am able to print from Illustrator into Acrobat, but it doesn't save it to a full sized "page".  I tried saving any Ai file to a different file and then try to save as a PDF....no dice.   This is the second time around where this has happened.  Now here is the kicker, since I'm an admin it will work like a charm under my login; the user is a restricted user (no admin rights).  I also changed the default printer for her, to a local printer.. (read somewhere about that)  no dice.  Any help would obviously be appreciated.  THX

    Yup, that could also be possible.  Had a similar problem where the IE add-in for Adobe Reader did not work anymore. And I had to get a patch from MS for office.  And it was only available by request only.

  • Timestamp when saved in text file and reloaded does not give correct dates

    Hello
    I am struggling with time stamp. I have almost corrected the problem but it is not as good as I expect it to be.
    I have data in the main vi which logs into text file with time stamp for everyday results logs.
    I then pull all this data to display on waveform graph with the performance data on y axis and time stamp on x axis.
    I convert the time stamp data from string back to time stamp using scan from function in string pallette. When I run the waveform graph vi. The time stamp data is not correct one. I see year values beginning 1974 etc. I change these values to 2011 and the correct dates and then could see the accurate logged data from data logger but I would like to have the starting date in my logged file the left most date on x-axis. I try modify dates in display format section of waveform graph but I think it gives the values in seconds which doesn't make much sense to me. Is it possible to automatically set the starting value of the graph as the first date in the logged file? I am new with using time stamps. Any feedback will be appreciated.
    Kind Regards
    Austin

    Hi Austin,
    "Is it possible to automatically set the starting value of the graph as the first date in the logged file?"
    Sure: Use autoscaling, format x-axis as time and use waveforms with correct t0 value...
    For all other questions you should attach a VI to show your current state of programming!

  • Saving to text file from GUI within linked list

    can anyone help me with saving to a text file from a GUI text area and text fields??
    then reading back into the labels and textfields from the text file??
    It's currently just saving in a linked list and creating a new item inside of it. but i have to now make a text file for each item, this is what i currently have
    i need to turn this into something that with save to text file with buffered reader or something, can anyone help???
    public void saveToFile()
            while(listIterator.hasNext())
                item = (Item)listIterator.next();
                saving.save(item);
        }//END SAVETOFILE
        public Object save(Item item)
            if (last == 1)
                itemList.set( listIterator.nextIndex() , item);
            else
                itemList.set(listIterator.previousIndex(), item);
            itemList.set(listIterator.previousIndex(), item);
            listIterator = itemList.listIterator(0);
            return itemList.getFirst();
        }//END SAVE

    thank you sztyopek, i am still having trouble getting it to save to text file. I have to do it through a client and server so i have a protocol class. in the protocol class i have
    if (o instanceof String)
                        //System.out.println(o);
                        if (o.equals("next"))
                            newo = database.getNextItem();
                           // some how send newo
                        if (o.equals("prev"))
                            newo = database.getPrevItem();
                            //some how send newo
                        if (o.equals("save"))
                            database.saveToFile();
                        if (o.equals("exit"))
                            System.exit(1);
                    }//END IF STRING
             if (o instanceof Item)
               newo = database.save((Item)o);
            return newo;
        }When i save what i have entered in the textfields for each record it doesn't create a textfile. and it still getting retrieved from how i set it up before by going to the database.save((Item)o)...the last if statement above but i can't change that to the saveToFile method that u helped me with it says incompatible types or something.
    this is the method it is going to, i assume i have to get rid of this so i stop getting the information from the list and start getting it from the text file.
    public Object save(Item item)
            if (last == 1)
                itemList.set( listIterator.nextIndex() , item);
            else
                itemList.set(listIterator.previousIndex(), item);
            itemList.set(listIterator.previousIndex(), item);
            listIterator = itemList.listIterator(0);
            return itemList.getFirst();
        }//END SAVEif this makes any sense can u give me a hand.

  • Problem in Using a Text file

    Hello,
    I want to read my text from a text file and its not a predetermined text, what i want to do is read the records in the form of text and i want to use "," as the delimiter between each Column in my Output file.
    I was trying to do this but somehow am not Achieving anything meaningful till now.
    Waiting for positive Replys from the Forum Memebers.

    The solution has already been suggested on this thread.
    http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=686118
    If you didn't get it, here are the steps again:
    1. Read the file using java io http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/essential/io/
    2. As you read each line, use StringTokenizer or String.split() to separate each value.
    You do not need to have a predetermined text. The only predetermined thing is your delimiter.

  • Problem in Saving long texts from IC Webclient

    Hi,
    I have a little problem with BP long text transfert.
    In IC Webclient, I identify a account and I create a long text (for exemple a Accounting Note).
    I can find this text in CRM (t-code BP->long text) but, it is not transfert to ECC (XD03->Extra->text).
    If I create a accounting note directly in CRM, it is transfert to ECC !!
    The transaction PITX is customized in ECC.
    I work with CRM5.0 and ECC6.
    What I missed ?
    Gaétan

    Hi Gaétan,
    Maybe the BDOC BUPA_MAIN responsible to export the change to ECC is not being created when you make the change in IC Webclient.
    Can you confirm it in SMW01? Try to make a change in a partner long text in IC webclient, and check if the bdoc was sent to R3.
    Then try it in BP t-code, and check it again.
    If this is the problem, maybe you should contact OSS suport.
    Kind regards,
    Garcia

  • Problem involving saving over indesign file and pdf

    Kind of a strange one this one....
    I'm currently working on a magazine and have several InDesign files in one folder that i'm working on and a seperate folder where I have saved exported pdf versions of these files. The files are the same names in ach folder eg '1 - 40'  '2 - 39' and so on
    I accidentally saved over one of my InDesign files so I understand I will not be able to recover it as I wasnt using any backup utility.
    However before I saved over the file I had created a pdf version of it and saved it in my pdf folder.  So i'm thinking not all is lost as I can use the pdf file to send to the printers.
    Now here's the strange bit - I am using PC and when I open explorer I can see the folder icon where all my pdf files are saved and can actually see the 'lost/saved over' pdf version as one of the mini thumbnails for that folder - but when I click on the folder to view the files inside it isnt there - instead it shows a thumbnail of the file i saved over it with...!?!
    I'm thinking is there somekind of automatic updating PDF export setting that I may have selected or is it possible that folder icon is using a snapshot of what was inside at a certain point??
    Either way I could really do with recovering this PDF - if anyone has any suggestions i'm more than happy to hear them.
    Thanks
    Mark

    i thought this would help a little
    This is the folder icon - in which all my pdf's are.  The top left thumbnail is the 'missing/saved over' pdf.  So you'd think it would be in there?
    Below is a view of the contents of that folder - (for those of you with good eyesight) you can see that the top left thumbnail from the above picture is nowhere to be seen in this folder!!

  • Report saved in text file ?

    Hi,
    In Labview 5.1 for Windows, does anyone know if it is possible and how to
    save a report, create with "Easy Text Report.vi" in a text file?
    Thanks.
    Denys

    Hi,
    You can download xls file from option system > List > save option > Spreadsheet,save the file in local directory and then use "save as" option and then save in 2007/2003 format.(Usually sheet gets downloaded in txt format)
    This will allow user to use vlookup in xls format.

  • Problem with CS3 InCopy text files and InDesign CS5

    I have a large annual magazine that I am developing. There is one section that doesn't change much from year to year and I was hoping to grandfather in the InCopy text files from last year's edition. I've successfully used this strategy the past few years without issue. However, now when I try to check out those text files from last year, I receive the following message "This story needs to be coverted to "InCopy Document" format in order to edit it."
    I am running both InDesign CS5 and InCopy CS5 in SL 10.6.4. The previous year's magazine document was in CS3 InDesign format and the text files were in InCopy CS3. Is there some sort of compatibility issue? Is there a specific method for converting them so I can check them out in InDesign? I haven't attempted to check them out in InCopy CS5 yet but I will try that next. But I really need the ability to check out the content via InDesign too.
    Thanks in advance.
    Robert

    AFAIK, you're going to actually need to open the INCX files in InCopy and then resave them as ICML file. You can then relink them all in InDesign.
    Other choice is killing the InCopy links and then relinking everything.
    Best practice would be to finish any job started in CS3 with CS3 and then move to CS5 with new projects.

  • Saving a text file as CLOB into oracle database

    Hi techies,
    I have a text file, which I have to insert into the oracle database as a CLOB field. Please give me some code to read the file and store the contents of the file into the database.
