Problems with XMLP's XSLT engine

Hi,
To work around the limitations of the XMLP's builtin
crosstab support, I have included a XSL file
like <?import: file:///C:MakeTheTable.xsl?>
and used <xsl:call-template name="myTable">
to invoke the template and generate the XSL-FO
directly. Now the problem is that XMLP's XSLT
engine gives in some table cells wrong values
(compared to XML-Spy's XSLT engine and Microsoft
MSXML 4.0). Is there a way to assign XMLP's XSLT
engine as "external XSL transformation program" in
XML Spy?
I am using the "Preview - PDF" menu in WORD.
Is there a way to get the generated XSL-FO?
Thank you,
Heinz

Hi,
I used XMLP's Java API to write a little application that I can use as "external XSL transformation program" for XML Spy. My findings so far:
- XMLP's FO engine gives correct results, the problem is caused by XMLP's XSLT engine, that creates a bad FO-file.
- I tried a workaround, replaced a for-each loop with some XPath statements by an for-each-group, group-by, current-group(). I got a different result, but not the correct one :-(
Our motivation to look at XML Publisher was, that the cross-tab (matrix) support of
Oracle Reports was not very good, for that what we needed. I am beginning to get the
impression, that the cross-tab support of XML Publisher is even worse. Of course are
any positive, optimistic comments appreciated.

  • Problems with Non central Adapter Engine

    Hi Friends,
    We installed an non central Adapter engine. Then as per the documents we made entry for connection in exchange profile.Then in visual administrator in SLD data supplier i provided the required credentials for connecting to my XI server.
    XILDUSER and XISUPER these users and passwords were provided for connection.
    From visual admin we manually send the trigger to hit the SLD and make an entry there.It was successful in visual admin.
    But after doing all this successfully we are not able to see the Local i.e non-central adapter in our XI SLD as well as in RWB.
    can anyone throw some light on it.
    Thanks,
    yomesh

    Hi Friends ,
    I have solved this problem. The password provided for XILDUSER was wrong thats why it was not able to register in the SLD .also the differents user has to be created in Security provider service in visual administrator.
    then it worked finr.

  • I am having problems with the Mail search engine.

    Here is what is happening. When I attempt to search my Mac Mail sent folders using the Mac Mail's search function, the message window simply goes blank after I enter the second letter into the space next to the magnifying glass icon. This only happens when I try to search my sent folders. It will still search my received mail folders just fine.
    I have tried rebuilding the Spotlight index, and also rebuilding the Mac Mail database. Neither worked.
    I have read some suggestions that one use Terminal with a command such as sudo hdutil -i on "/Volumes/Macintosh HD.
    Although I am loathe to type anything into Terminal, I tried to enter this command, then it asks me for my administrator password, and then refuses to allow me to enter it, so that is an entirely new problem that I would have to figure out.
    I am using OS 10.6.8 on a MacBook Pro.
    What if I just reinstall Mac Mail? Would that work?
    Thanks for your help.

    Spam filters work in different ways on different computers and different email providers, so why one message does go to the Spam/Bulk mailbox, and why it doesn't all depends on the Spam filtering criteria that that provider or product set up.
    Any messages you want that appear in the Bulk Mailbox, you would be best off learning how to train the software or the email provider that it's good mail and not spam.  Once you do that, the emails that you've been flagging as good emails will begin to come back into your normal email boxes.
    If you still need more help with this, please provide:
    1) The email software you're using on your computer, and the system software on your computer -- example: Outlook 2010 and Windows 7
    2) The email provider you're having trouble with -- example: yahoo mail, a work exchange email account

  • Tow fact assersion problem with BPEL and rule Engine

    I have imported two different xsd for buliding xml fact A and B. I have defined two RuleSetA and RuleSetB that RuleSetA only act on A and RuleSetB only act on B.
    When i call RuleSetA from BPEL decision Service it detects both of the facts A and B as a related fact to RuleSetA and expect that I use both of them for assertion and watch!!
    When this condition occure BPEL can not create ear file for that DecisionService!!
    I have set visible property of fact B to false in ruleAuthor and then Bpel detects only fact A in decisionService creation wizard. I have deployed BPEL but when i run it the DecisionService raise this error "undefined mypackage.B at line and coumn ..."
    It means that Rule engine expects that I should assert fact B too!! but it's irelevent.
    I have checked Decision Service deplyment descriptor files such as decisionservic.desc
    I can not find any name or setting for fact B in assertionlist setting.
    Please Help me what is the problem

    Hi,
    I'm not sure i understand what you're trying to achieve, but let me explain some of the rule engine and decision service concepts.
    The Oracle Rule Engine has the concept of a rule repository (that is what decision service considers a rule engine connection). A rule repository is a container of rule dictionaries (in the decision service world we use the term catalog for this).
    It is the rule dictionary you're selecting when creating a decision service partnerlink.
    So now a rule dictionary comprises of
    - A (common) datamodel.
    The datamodel comprises of the variables, fact types, functions
    - One or more rulesets
    All of the rulesets share the same datamodel of the rule dictionary, there doesn't exist
    a fact type model for a specific ruleset.
    Now, when you create a decision service partnerlink, we let you choose the ruleset
    that is being executed as part of the decision service. Then we query the rule dictionary
    data model for all the fact types that can potentially be used for executing the ruleset
    and assume that you have some knowledge about which fact types to assert and which
    one to query (watch).
    The thing is that the decision service partnerlink wizard doesn't have knowledge that
    your ruleset B uses fact type B and your ruleset A uses fact type A since both fact type
    A and B are part of the datamodel of the rule dictionary. So, when you choose to execute ruleset B, its in your responsibility to select appropriate fact types for assertion
    and query/watch (in this case you would choose fact type B for assertion, eventually the same or some other fact type for watch).
    Best Regards,
    Ralf

  • XSLT Mapping - problem with prefixes when calling template

    Hi all,
    I am having a problem with using an XSLT mapping in XI to combine various fields from 2 input messages of different structures into a single output message.  I understand that XI puts a wrapper around the 2 input messages so the structure of the XML I am mapping is:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <ns2:Messages xmlns:ns2="http://sap.com/xi/XI/SplitAndMerge">
    <ns2:Message1>
    <ns:(root of first message)>
    </ns:(root of first message)>
    </ns2:Message1>
    <ns2:Message2>
    <ns:(root of second message)>
    </ns: (root of second message)>
    </ns2:Message2>
    </ns2:Messages>
    Currently my XSL looks like the following:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" xmlns:ns="http://example.co.uk/example" xmlns:ns2="http://sap.com/xi/XI/SplitAndMerge" xmlns:javamap="java:systemDate.CurrentDate" version="2.0">
    <xsl:output method="xml" version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"/>
    <xsl:param name="inputparam"/>
    <xsl:template match="ns2:Messages">
    ...<xsl:calltemplate name="FormattingTemplate"/>
    </xsl:template>
    <xsl:template name="FormattingTemplate">
    </xsl:template>
    </xsl:stylesheet>
    When I test the mapping it works fine until it calls the FormattingTemplate.  Then it throws out a "transformer exception" error saying the prefix 'ns2' is not mapped to a namespace.
    If anyone could tell me where I am going wrong I would be very grateful.
    Thanks,
    Mike

    Hi Udo,
    Thanks for your reply.
    When testing the stylesheet locally with XMLSpy, it works fine, but I have just noticed that it adds information in the root tag of the target message as follows:
    <(root of target message) xmlns:javamap="java:systemDate.CurrentDate" xmlns:ns="http://example.co.uk/example" xmlns:ns2="http://sap.com/xi/XI/SplitAndMerge">
    I checked the root tag of the target message in XI and it does not automatically add this information. Thus I added it in my stylesheet so the information above is projected in the target message, but the same error message appears when the call template function is called.  Do you know if I need to somehow add a namespace to templates other than the main one? If so, do you know how I go about doing that?
    Thanks,
    Mike

  • Having problems with adobe color engine when converting a 32bit file into an 8bit in Photoshop CC.

    I'm having problems with the "adobe color engine" when converting a 32bit file into an 8bit.
    Error Message reads: "could not convert the image to 8 bit/channel because of a problem using the adobe color engine.
    Never had this problem before, just recently started happening! I've tried multiply files since and some work, some don't, can't work out why!? thought it might be due to a large file size?...any suggestions?

    That would require much more info about your files, your system and the version of PS you are using. Presumably there is some color profile issue at play here.

  • Problems with Lead Assignment Engine

    Hi All,
    Was wondering if anyone has had problems with the lead assignment engine. We set about a dozen rules in and some work while others don't, without any common link between them.
    We have used the billing country that works, for some strange reason, only for Canada and none of the rules set on 'Billing US State' work. I added two custom checkboxes. One works while the other doesn't.
    Obviously the rule group is active.
    If anyone has any insight into the matter or has a proven solution, I would be happy to hear.
    Thanks.

    Hi Bob,
    Yes. We know this. The rule group has been active for a number of days.
    Some of the rules in fact work, yet others do not.
    Anyone stumble upon this before?

    Hi Amitai,
    Good afternoon and I hope your well.
    A member of the team from NI Israel contacted me regarding this post.
    I want to provide you with extra details on how to resolve your issue - i.e. Repair (Or Re-install) the Shared Variable Engine.
    If you use the MsiBlast Tool it will populate a list of all MSI NI Installers. One of these will be NI Variable Engine. On the right-hand side you can the click 'Repair'. I would also Repair the engine support for the versions of LabVIEW you have installed. Please see attachments for MsiBlast and a screenshoot of the MSIBlast screen.
    If this doesn't work I would recommend re-installing LabVIEW using the following guide, which I posted on this forum. (second post by me).
    Please let me know how you get on,
    Kind Regards,
    James.

  • XSLT problem with img tag in Saxon

    Hi,
    Iam getting a problem with <img> tag when transforming a document using Saxon transformer. In the input XSLT I have proper closing tag for <img>, but the output of the transformation is not well formed as the closing tag for <img> does not appear. I need to feed the output to a FO object to generate a print preview, but the output is not well-formed.
    Kindly help to resolve the issue.
    Kind Regards,
    Abhinandan

    Perhaps that is because you are generating HTML as your output? As I recall, <img> tags don't have to be closed in HTML. So try generating XML instead if you need XML.

  • XSLT-problem with sequence attributes

    Hi,
    in my XSLT-program (i'm a real newbie!) i'm adding dynamically attributes and their values to a tag, by using the following code :
    <SUPPLIER>
      <xsl:attribute name="FUNLOC">
        <xsl:value-of select="SUPPLIER_FUNLOC" />
      </xsl:attribute>
      <xsl:attribute name="NAME">
        <xsl:value-of select="SUPPLIER_NAME" />
      </xsl:attribute>
      <xsl:attribute name="LOCATION">
        <xsl:value-of select="SUPPLIER_LOCATION" />
      </xsl:attribute>
      </SUPPLIER>
    The problem is that the attributes in the resulting xml-file are alphabetically ordered. For instance :
    <SUPPLIER FUNLOC="9522222" LOCATION="NL" NAME="Test vendor VMOI">
    How can i arrange that the result of the xml-file is a sequence of entrance is taken, so
    <SUPPLIER FUNLOC="9522222" NAME="Test vendor VMOI" LOCATION="NL" >

    Hi Hans,
    I think you're using ABAP-XSLT?!
    If you do so, you can solve the sorting problem by using a 1:1 Message mapping after the ABAP-XSLT mapping. This resolves the problem that the nodes are not in the correct order.
    In your interface mapping you have to configure 2 mappings:
    1: ABAP-XSLT
    2: Message mapping.
    Of course this means that the total processing time increases a little bit.
    I had the same problem with the sequence of my (ACC_DOCUMENT) idoc nodes, the ABAP-XSLT screwed up the idoc, but the 1:1 message mapping solved the problem.

  • SOAP adapter engine with system error, problem with fault message.

    HI,
    I have IDOC -> PI -> SOAP scenario.
    Idoc to PI is async. I have no problem in receiving the idoc in PI. The message mapping is carried out and sent to the adapter engine. I can also see the technical routing payload. It is sucessful at XML monitoring in SXMB_MONI.
    The error is at PI -> SOAP.
    I have wsdl provided by the receiver webservice. Which I have imported.
    And created a service interface against this wsdl. I tried changing it to both sync and async.
    I have also provided fault message.
    I have set a receiver soap communication channel and provided the target URL like "http://xxx/services" and soap
    action = processDocument. Also provided user id and password.
    I have a
    Sender Agreement
    Receiver determination
    Interface determination
    Receiver Agreement
    I check in RWB adapter engine, this message goes to system error. The error log is as shown at the bottom.
    When I see the message content, the SOap document shows me the details about IDOC, Instead I feel it should match
    with the wsdl, where they have specified the corresponding interface name and address location etc.Please correct me.
    How does the receiver know which service interface is it? The Service Interface which I created in the ER is
    different from the WSDL, Does this have to be same? I see that the soap document in the adapter engine has the
    Service interface name which I created in the  ER. Where in the document the Reciever interface name is sent?
    Where can I see the generated soap document for the receiver?
    Is there some setting/configuration required in PI for this to work?
    I tried using the tcpgw to see the error. If I dont provide the service interface name in the communication channel
    then I get the following error in the TCPGW. "The service cannot be found for the endpoint reference"
    When I provide the service interface name in the communication channel I get a valid fault message.
    Similarly
    When I use SOAPUI, I can see the fault exception being return. The adapter engine doesnot show an equivalent message
    instead it goes into system error as shown at the bottom. I guess this is expected, if so what is the work around? (I found this weblog /people/alessandro.guarneri/blog/2011/01/10/soap-fault-in-sap-pi-hijack-it, do I need to implement this? Or use ALEAUD?
    The fault message what I see in SOAPUI has the below format.
    <soapenv:Fault xmlns:axis2ns1="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
             <faultcode>axis2ns1:Server</faultcode>
             <faultstring>nested exception is: psdi.util.MXApplicationException: BMXAA7136E - Validation failed when the
                                database default values were set. See the associated message for more information.
               BMXAA4190E - Country NZ is not in the value list.</faultstring>
             <detail>
                <Exception>org.apache.axis2.AxisFault: nested exception is: psdi.util.MXApplicationException: BMXAA7136E
                          - Validation failed when the database default values were set. See the associated message for more information.
         BMXAA4190E - Country NZ is not in the value list.
                /Exception>
             </detail>
      </soapenv:Fault>
    And the fault message in my ER service interface is stanadard datatype ExchangeFaultData, which is different from
    the above. Is this the problem? Can I change the data type here to be the same as above?
    Audit log in the RWB adapter engine.

    15:15:57 NZDT 2011.

    I tried changing it to both sync and async.
    I have also provided fault message.
    dont feel that you need to do above steps.
    I have a
    Sender Agreement
    ideally you dont need a sender agreement (and a channel) for IDOC --> PI flow.
    When I see the message content, the SOap document shows me the details about IDOC
    this is fine...you may see fields as seen in EDI_DC40 of the IDOC...
    How does the receiver know which service interface is it?
    receiver need not know about the SI created in PI.
    The Service Interface which I created in the ER is
    different from the WSDL, Does this have to be same?
    you should the WSDL (external definition) as the Request Message in your service interface.
    Is there some setting/configuration required in PI for this to work?
    nothing specific...AFAIK
    I have set a receiver soap communication channel and provided the target URL like "http://xxx/services" and soap action
    can you open the URL from Internet explorer...from your machine or from the machine which is in the same network as your PI server?
    Things to check:
    WSDL structure in PI and in target system is exactly the same.
    does the target system require mesage in SOAP format (SOAP envelope - SOAP Header + SOAP body)?
    target system is up and running?

  • Problems with Labivew 2013 / 14 install - Ni Variable Engine error and Labview does not close, processes do not stop when I run Vis.

    Hi All,
    I am hoping at all my problems are relateded to a problem I am experancing, when I look into my windows 7 (64bit) event viewer near every time I boot up I get an error regarding the NI Variable Engine which reads.
    The description for Event ID 0 from source NI Variable Engine cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
    If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
    The following information was included with the event:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\Shared\Tagger\ni_tagger_plugin_mxs.dll: Failure to load plugin: Unexpected Error: Unable to get the Interface from the plug-in.
    and a second which is the same apart fomr the last line
    Unable to load the MXS configuration plugIn: Failed to get MAX Configuration interface for Tagger: 0x80040318
    I have tried uninstalling all labview things and I have tried repairing all labivew programs. Along with this I got this error when I installed Labview 2013 so I thougth why not try 2014 and I still get the same problems. I also shoudl point out I use bot 32 bit and 64 bit versions of labivew. I have installed labview on many machines before but never encountered this problem. That being said this was a new clean windows install.
    Along with thiese errors labview heardly ever shuts down properly when I close the program it just freezes and needs forshed shut down.
    Apart form this I noticed that when I run any of my Vis which I have never had problems with in the past and I stop the program somtiems processes keep using CPU such as "lktsrv.exe"
    I really need to get this sorted out because its morstly the crushing and processes not stopping which is rather annoying.
    I shoudl also say that these problems are both in the 32bit and 64 bit versions of labview not difference. and no difference if its 2013 or 2014
    Cheers

    Hi GajanS,
    Thanks for your reply sorry I havetn noticed anybody had replied as I stopped hoping for any responce before then.
    I have attached a screenshot of the four processes that seems to be giving me a problem.
    I have actually managed to find the program causing labivew to crash was in fact my antivirus software which I have now removed and have no more problems with labview crashing on shutdown.
    After removing it I tried the repair feature again for all my labview programs but sadly the one persistant problem remaining is still the four processes using around 13% processor each. I have found out this happens sometime after booting up regardless of if I run labivew or not. So it does not directly seem related to the running of any labview applications but rather a bug in the labview software.
     the processes are:
    lktsrv.exe
    tagsrv.exe
    nidmsrv.exe
    lkads.exe
    as shown in the task manager.
    I would relaly help if I can get this sorted out.
    Cheers
