"Program is not registered in xi " problem

hello all,
we get the error "Program is not registered in xi" when
executing the "connection test" via transaction 'sm59' for the relevant RFC connection between our XI and ECC systems.
the same test went fine earlier and just went wrong.
here is the error in details:

This is the main issue. The TCP Gateway Host and service in the Sender RFC adapter will be that of your R3 system. Also make sure that the detdails in the sender RFC adapter are correct,
Also try to deslect the option verify sender System , like I have mentioned above.
And, in my sender RFC adapter, have not selected the option Unicode and SNC

A previous consultant had installed BO 4.0 system and integrated it with BI 7.0 system. In SM59 when we do a connection test i am getting an error: Error when opening a program. Error: Program VERIGTECH10_Bex_Web not registered. I checked the host name and gateway all of them are correct.
Also in BO server i checked for the registered program under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/SAPBUSINESS OBJECTS/SUITE XI 4.0/ .. Here i was unable to find the registered program id and the gateway. BI 7.0 and BO 4.0 have been installed in two separate servers.

Also in BO server i checked for the registered program under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/SAPBUSINESS OBJECTS/SUITE XI 4.0/SAP/.. There is no publishing service under SAP. Under Central Configuration Manager BW Publisher Service is Stopped.
I tried re-creating it using installdir>/SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0/win32_x86/bwcepubsvc.exe" -install -name BOE140BWPublisher but i was still unable to find it under REGEDIT>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->BO>XI4.0->SAP.
Here i was unable to find the registered program id and the gateway.
BI 7.0 and BO 4.0 have been installed in two separate servers.

1. Version of BO: BOXI 4.0
2. O.S: Windows Server 2008

Program ID not registered

Hi,
I am trying to test RFC connection but it is saying " program ID not registered" at gateway.
I registered in saprfc.ini file at gateway but still its not working.
Please let me know if you have any idea where should I register it.

I am not dure what is the setup you have in your env .
To register a progid
1.you have to have two separate applications
say one is sap and second is xxx
2.You have to register xxx applications prog id in sap.
3.you have to have both applications up and running.
4.It shall be a TCP/IP connection and register program id option in SAP system , define the gateway host and gateway service using sm59 .
5.The application xxx shall have information about sap system.
and then it works properly.

It was occuring because time in the Java stack and the CRM ABAP stack was different.

Program B1IRFCxx not registered

Following the steps in the Guide to generate R/3 Configuration to run SAP B1i... we have defined the RFC destination. But when pushing Test connection button we get the error 'program B1IRFC00 not registered'. This error is from the Gateway Error Codes groups, where it gets return code 679 - TP not registered.
The program ID B1IRFC00 is the same as in B1i landscape initialization. On the other hand the Test connection from B1i Landscape initialization of R3 system works fine. Restart of Tomcat does not help.
Has anyone idea how to overcome this issue?

OK ... but this link is different from the documentation that comes with B1i. My thought was possibly you would find something based on this document.
Also ... in your email ... you have three different environments. I understand the frustration you are having, but can we pick one and try to troubleshoot that one. Maybe #2 from your email?
If we look at number 2 ... here are the areas that you need to verify ...
1. Verify that the Apache Tomcat Server service is running and is using the Local account for login or an administrator login for the system.
2. Verify that the DI API and specifically the JCO (Java Connector) is installed.
Path = ...\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One DI API\JCO\LIB
3. Verify in the SQL Server Configuration Manager > SQL Server 2005 Network Connections > Protocols for MSSQL Server, that TCP/IP is enabled and then also verify that the same is true for SQL Native Client Config > Client Protocols that TCP/IP is enabled.
4. The B1i start page you are connecting to is ...
http://<server>:<port>/B1iXcellerator
5. The login for B1i 2007A would be ...
login = sa (SQL Server login)
password = the MS SQL Server "sa" password NOT B1iadmin as in older version of B1i (unless that is the MS SQL Server password).
See the B1i Troubleshooting Guide that I have sent you via email...

Problem with RFC connection - tp program not registered

I tried to register program with a command:
rfcexec -aIFCZPKCP -gssapprod -xsapgw21
but with no success - the program didn't appear on the list of logged clients on the system in gateway monitor. Frankly speaking we do not know now what else we can do - please help!
We have ECC 6.0 (SAP_BASIS 700 SP18) on Windows Server 2003 R2 x64.

The syntax you're providing refers to UNIX systems, but I did similar thing on our Windows system - I tried all of the following methods (unfortunatelly without success):
rfcexec -a(PROG_ID) -gssapprod -xsapgw21
full_path_to_rfcexec.exe -a(PROG_ID) -gssapprod -xsapgw21
rfcexec -a(PROG_ID) -gssapprod.domain -xsapgw21
full_path_to_rfcexec.exe -a(PROG_ID) -gssapprod.domain -xsapgw21

I am having problems while testing an RFC connection PI_RFC in one of our PI quality system.

We tried restarting the JCO-RFC provider service in VA,also tried restarting the Gateway service, tried registering the RFC using below command
rfcexec u2013g PI_RFC -a bp1xeuaa202 -x sapgw01
rfcexec u2013D PI_RFC
the command didnt gave any output also in SMGW tcode we didnt get the entry(PI_RFC) under system type as registered server.
Also we tried changing the Gateway hostname and service name in SM59.
Still we are facing the same issue, can anyone please help us in resolving this issue.

Hi,
It seems to like problem with your program is not registered. As suggested by spantaleoni, you can go through.
Here Program Id must be case sensitive. Once again check with your program Id.
And, you have to register your program id in Visual Administrator.
Goto Visual Administrator:
In that Select Cluster>Server>Services-->JCo RFC Provider
Then enter the Program Id and gw host & service.

Risk Terminator ECC 6 - CC 5.2 - RFC Test: Program not registered

Dear board,
I am configuring the risk terminator functionality and stumble accross problems with the setup of the RFC destination from ECC to the CC. The connection test fails with "ERROR: program GRCRTTOCC5X not registered".
The RFC connection is of type TCP/IP, Registered Server Program, Default Gateway Value and Gateway host/service information I took from another working rfc connection.
The RFC connection is equal to the one set up in the RT configuration transaction, I have set up a dedicated connector on the CC with direction outound and GRCRTTOCC5X as report.
I have furthermore noticed that I am not able to active the SAP Adapter in the CC yet, a JCO error appears.
Any ideas?

RFC error: SLD_UC program not registered

Hello,
I am having a problem connecting my Abap system to SLD.
When I test the SLD_UC RFC connection, I get the error that the program is not registered.
I did see other postings on this, but no real answers that I can tell.
How can I troubleshoot the problem to get this program registered?

Hi Doug,
Can you confirm the parameters specified under tab Technical setting --> Gateway Options(This should be your ABAP system gateway and host)
Also check whether server name and gateway host you can see using tcode smgw.

I am trying to create a new RFC Destination.
Details I have provided are..
1.RFC Destination Name
2.Connection Type - TCP/IP
3.Description
4. Activation Type - Registered Server Program.
5.Program Id.
6. Gateway Host and Gateway Service.
But When I Test the connection, I am getting the following error.
" program xyz not registered / CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPECMINIT'# Transaction program not registered"
However I was able to create and connect RFC Destinations successfully previously.
I am not SAP guy. Could someone help resolve this issue.

I am trying to replicate the customer from CRM to R/3 and i get a bdoc message in SMW01 that "RFC connection failed please press the save button again". Gateway error - Program not registered

Hello,
We were getting the following error while doing a "Connection test" of a TCP/IP RFC destination:
LOCATION SAP-Gateway on host gisrxx / sapgw00
ERROR program SBCX not registered
It's an ECC 6.0 system.
I found SAP note - - 353597 - Registering a RFC program
I executed the following command as sidadm
rfcexec -aSBCX -ggisrxx -xsapgw00
But the command keeps on running on teh command prompt.
And for that duration the RFC works.
But after sometime the command ends and comes back to command prompt and the RFC doesn't work any more.
Could you tell what needs to be done to resolve this issue?

The program in the above error should be registered in the gateway for this connection test to complete successfully. The server program rfcexec is responsible for its registration on the gateway.
To register the program login into the OS level as sudo su - <sid>adm and execute the following command.
rfcexec u2013g<program id> -a<gateway host name> -x<gateway service>
rfcexec is the server program name, the <program id> can be obtained from SM59, it is case sensitive and should match with the entry in SM59. The <gateway host name> and <gateway service> can be obtained from the transaction SMGW. When this command is executed it goes to a hanging loop.
The connection will fail once this command is terminated or the user executing this command logs off
To avoid this, instead of using the above mentioned command an entry should be made in the file saprfc.ini
To do this, execute the following command
sudo su - <sid>adm
rfcexec u2013D<destination name>
<destination name> is the RFC destination name in SM59
So now we are done with registering the server program, but how do we check it is registered, once a server program is registered it is displayed in the Logged on clients in SMGW.
In transaction SMGW choose GOTO-> Logged on clients. There should be an entry for the server program in the screen that is displayed with system type Registered_TP (which indicates that the program is registered)

RFC error: transaction program not registered

I am facing one issue with RFC connection.
I am creating one TCP/IP connection from ECC 6.0 (windows 2003) to EHS/WWI application. i am getting following error when i am doing connection test.
error: Program <PROGRAM ID> not registered.
Then i tried to register the program by running the following command at OS level.
rfcexec u2013a program_ID u2013g ######id u2013x sapgw00
But still the error persists.
Please guide me. also does this command creates entry in saprfc.ini file? i have tried adding it manually in that file also.

I think you need change Activation Type Radiobutton.
I believe that you have checked "Registered Server Program", and with this flag you have to identify a registered RFC program. With an SAP gateway, an RFC server program can be registered under this ID and then wait for RFC calls from different SAP Systems.
Type T destinations are connections to external programs that use the RFC API to receive RFCs.
If it is Start, you must specify the host name and the pathname of the program to be started.

SAP SM59 Connection - Program Not Registered

I created the SM59 in the SAP system and did the basic install using the BO Integration Kit XI release 2 on a Windows system.
On the test using the SM59 I am getting:
ERROR: program AERSND02_BO_SB2 not registered.
AERSND02_BO_SB2 is the program ID I used in the BO install and is the program ID I used in the Registered Server Program in the SM59. The SAP system is a unix box and the BO system is on a different windows box.
Also, When I execute the rfc_ping se37 program I get "Communication Failure".
In the BO system tab "SAP" I can see the roles in my SAP system so the connection to the SAP system is functioning.

Trying to configure BW Publisher.
I verified that:
1) BW Publisher has been started in windows.
2) I executed netstat u2013an | find u201C3306u201D and see valid responses:

xxx.x.xx.xx:3354     xxx.x.xx.xy:3306           ESTABLISHED
This was promising!!
3) My sm59 has valid values per the doc
4) My sm59 gives me the following error response:

When I ran this sapinfo.exe to get the connection registered (using type=R) you can see that it did not get registered.
Since the sap system is on unix and bo on windows I'm thinking that I need something on my sap system box pointing back to bo.
