This error message has recently started and it is constantly popping up now

How can I fix this? I don't understand what this is our how to fix it.One common problem seems to correlate with non-Apple extensions, possibly loaded long ago and migrated from an older Mac OS X.

Error message HP Device Monitor quit unexpectedly will not go away! Help please.
Hi, I deleted our old HP Printer from MAC and loaded the new one. Now I'm getting an error message constantly. Sending report, Ignoring, Relaunch - nothing gets rid of it. Also rebooted computer, turned it off, and unplugged new printer all to no avail. Hitting relaunching button makes it message disappear, but nothing relaunches. HELP.

Help with DW8 error messages please....
Suddenly my Dreamweaver 8 has ground virtually to a halt - I think might be since a recent DMX ActiveSlideshow update.
When load DW8 I get error message:-

Then I uninstalled the program and re-installed it and thankfully the JavaScript themed alerts have stopped.. I haven't reinstalled the DMX extensions yet, but previously de-selecting them hadn't made any difference.

I am losing my ability to play and listen to the music I paid for on iTunes. I have to constantly sign in, I am now getting an error message of -9808. I can not even play movies any more. I am terrified to add iTunes to another computer. HELLLLLPPPPP!!!!!!
Netflix adapts to the connection. iTunes content is fixed, and will need to load a portion before playback begins.
It is best to troubleshoot the network to truly rule things out.
What is your current connection, via speedtest.net
Make sure DNS is set to automatic (settings - general - network)
If on wifi try Ethernet
Make sure router is up to date, reboot along with ATV
There may also be ISP throttling -
Acrobat Pro is now constantly giving me the error message (program not responding) when I try and perform any kind of action.

- Complete version of Acrobat installed;
- Experiencing this issue with a particular file or all PDF files;
- Experiencing this issue while performing a particular task or with any task;
- Files are saved on the local machine or on a share drive;
- Launch Acrobat in Safe Mode and then check the issue. Hold 'Shift' key and launch Acrobat, and then check the issue. -

I've seen those messages on a machine with a damaged hard drive directory.
Corrupt or missing system files will also cause that.
Another cause is a bad ethernet cable.
Try a different user account and see if the message persists.
Boot to the OS X install disc and use Disk Utility to Repair Disk on the startup drive.

I constantly get the following error message: The backup disk image "/volumes/data/jameskehoe.sparsebundle" is already in use. This Time Machine/Time Capsul worked perfectly before I left on a four month trip. Upon returning to my domicle it will not backup and I get the mentioned error message. My wife's Mac Book Pro continues to backup normally but she did not accompany me on this trip so her computer has always remained in contact with the Time Machine. My computer is a MacBook running 10.7.5
Any help solving this problem and letting me once again backup my computer would be greatly appreciated.This question is asked several times every day.. it is a bug.

pull out the power cord.. count to 10.. plug in the power cord.

IPod won't connect to my computer and constantly presents an error message
My iPod has started acting really bizarrely recently. It constantly displays the folder with the exclaimation mark. (I've been to the apple site, their suggestions don't resolve this issue). Whenever I plug it into my pc, it shows up as an external hdd in my computer (but not named as "stu's iPod" like it usuaully is), but won't let me open it. On attempting to open it as an external hdd, my pc says the drive needs formatted (but won't let me format it, I get an error message if i try). Whenever I connect to the computer, the iPod automatically goes into disk mode, even though I haven't put it into disk mode. I have downloaded the software updater but it just sticks on "initializing" then crashes (the window containing the iPod updater goes completely white). I'm at my wits end with this and any help to resolve it would be much appreciated, thanks.
similarly, my iPod had acted like that for a while. instead of the folder, it displays the "unhappy ipod" symbol, but if left on a charger for an extended period of time, it will return to normal function. after a few power up/power downs, it either will not boot correctly, or after booting, will not play the desired song (it just attempts to open it, fails, and tries the next song). it seems to come back to normal function faster if left connected to my laptop, as opposed to the wall unit or my car adapter. also, i opened the special menu (holding the center button and rewind/previous track button for a few seconds) and ran a harddrive scan. it returned the code "11ror!" is that a good or bad sign? i've only owned the ipod photo (4th gen, 30 gig) since june/july of this year, so it should still be covered by warranty...

Constantly receiving error message "Mac OS X needs to repair your libary to execute applications"
Since few days I am constantly receiving a pop up error message saying that Mac OS X has to repair the libary in order to start programs.
It is requesting to enter admin password and offers REPAIR or CANCEL.
I am running latest version OS X 10.8.3 (12D78)
Entering admin account and clicking REPAIR lets me carry on for about 10-15 sec.
Clicking CANCEL lets the pop up appear again afer 3-4 sec again.
Anybody having similar experience or any ideas what is going on and how to correct?

BHBack up all data. Don't continue unless you're sure you can restore from a backup, even if you're unable to log in.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. To do that, unlock the preference pane using the credentials of an administrator, check the box marked Allow user to administer this computer, then reboot. You can demote the problem account back to standard status when this step has been completed.
Triple-click the following line to select it. Copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C):

Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:

☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window (command-V). You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you don’t have a login password, you’ll need to set one before you can run the command. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator.
The command will take a noticeable amount of time to run. Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign (“$”) to appear, then quit Terminal.
Step 2 (optional)
Step 1 should give you usable permissions in your home folder. This step will restore special attributes set by OS X on some user folders to protect them from unintended deletion or renaming. You can skip this step if you don't consider that protection to be necessary, and if everything is working as expected after step 1.
Boot into Recovery by holding down the key combination command-R at startup. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.
When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select
Utilities ▹ Terminal
from the menu bar. A Terminal window will open.
In the Terminal window, type this:

Press the tab key. The partial command you typed will automatically be completed to this:
resetpassword
Press return. A Reset Password window will open. You’re not going to reset a password.
Select your boot volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name) if not already selected.

A few weeks ago my computer had lost the connection to the wireless internet. I set it up again and was able to connect to the internet, however since then I've been receiving an error message "Could not find a PPPoE Server." I went back into Preferences and unchecked the PPPoE server option but the error message still pops up.
Any idea how to fix it?In the Network pane of System Prefences, do you have duplicate services on the left column? When you "set it up again", you might have duplicated a service and both (the good working one and the previous that lost connection) might be trying to connect at the same time.

Why am I constantly receiving an error message EVERY time I try to download an update for my device?
I am unaware if this is caused by iTunes or if it's my internet connection or if it's just my computer. Every time I try to download an update for my device (iPhone 4, iPod 3rd Gen) it returns with an error message of 3259. This error message states that my connection timed out. This causes me to browse the internet for the same update and download it with my web browser. It is a hastle. In iTunes, the entire update will download but when it comes to the "processing file" portion my connection just times out.
Please, if anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this issue I would really appreciate itI'm having the same problems! It might be because there are so many downloaders... Anyway try turning off al antivirus and stuff like that. If this helps tell me please.

Constantly receive error message from ichat.
I need help. I have been using Ichat for several years without ANY issue and out of nowhere it will not connect with my chat buddy. I get an error message that asks to report to apple or not. I have reported it over a dozen times and no tone reply???? Help me.....Here are the details i copied in the message.

Error 21 is normally "Cannot Get Video from Camera" as the Message that gets written on the Video Chat Window as well.
The Log shows on a LAN IP that looks like a Campus or office or Shared Appartment Block service

Other things in the log suggest this Invite all but connected.
The thing that appears to be lacking is details of receiving a PINg from the other end.
Any chance the Router you are connected to is blocking Pings now ?

When downloading itunes to my pc, get error message 'Apple mobile device could not be installed - verify you have sufficient privileges to install system services'
i am forced to abort/cancel. Can anyone help please?Me too. And if someone comes back on here with the same solution of "uninstall and re-install", please provide further advice after you have done that 3 times and the program still has the same problem in addition to the "failure to load the C runtime library" R6034 issue. I have removed itunes 3 times however I do not have permission to remove the program files/apple file and the uninstall doesn't remove it.

ITunes constantly freezes when opening, no error message

ITunes has been working fine. One day I opened it and it got stuck on the default of opening up the music store. The only way I can get out of it is CtlAltDel.
There is no error message.
I have installed & re-installed it numerous times even with the windows tools to remove old files.

okay. that symptom is often associated with a damaged QuickTime. (iTunes needs a properly functioning QuickTime in order to work correctly.)
so let's try swapping out your QuickTime.
head into your Add/Remove programs. uninstall QuickTime.
Next, we’ll manually remove any leftover program files and folders.
1. On the Start menu, click My Computer (or double-click My Computer on the Desktop).
2. In My Computer, open Local Disk.
3. Open Program Files.
4. Right-click on the QuickTime folder and click Delete from the shortcut menu.
5. Navigate to C:\Windows\system32\.
6. Remove the files QuickTime.qts and QuicktimeVR.qtx.
7. Restart your computer.
next, we'll get a fresh copy of QuickTime into your PC by doing a repair install of itunes.
switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the repair install.
go into Add/Remove and select itunes. click "Change" and then click "Repair".
if the repair install goes through okay, restart the PC and try launching itunes again. does it launch properly (without freezing) now?
