Publish book - print sheets with no data

hi all,
i would like to use the option to print sheets in a book with no data but with printing to pdf. i have tried to select the option when printing to an actual printer, but then selected also the option to print to pdf, but this does not work.
is there a possibiliy at all to print sheets from a book with no data to pdf?

I traced the NetStream info under case "NetGroup.Neighbor.Connect":

As data is coming from the print program in the table. Do the following procedure
1. In the form interface ---> Declare the internal table as same structure as in the print program. for ex: you r passing MARA table data then declare it as itab type table of mara.
2. In the window you want to create the table, right click > create> table.
3. Go to data tab give the internal table name and work area .
4. Now go to General tab-->Details.
5. Declare the line types.
6. Right click on header/main area/footer -->create table line.
7. Now give the line type which you want to use.
8. In the displayed columns>right click> create text node.
9. In the text node &mara-matnr&.
Procedure to create line type:
1. Double click on table
2. Go to table tab --> details
3. Give the table width (width you want to display on the screen should be less than or equal to the window width).
4. Line type --> Divide this into no of column you want to have in header/item.
Note: total length of all columns should be equal to the table width.
5.save.

I think I have not asked my query properly.
For Maintenance Order, each order print out will be taken separately as a print out by using some template. Do you want the equipment master print out in that manner?
Else you want the details of general tab & characteristics tab as columns like equipment list report?

How to create a PI Sheet with variable data

Hi, I am working in version 6.2 of SAP.
The requirement that I am trying to configure in PP PI is to create a PI Sheet that contains variable data in the instructions. I have been attempting to use Process Instruction type 2, Simple DATA_REQUEST_TYPE, and a basic Message Characteristic that is similar to PI_COMM.
The problem that I am having is in using PPPI_VARIABLE with PPPI_DEFAULT_VALUE. When I run a check on the Process Instruction I constantly get sequence errors; "Assign PPPI_VARIABLE before the corresponding mess. characteristic" or "Characteristic 0020 PPPI_VARIABLE cannot be used in this position".
Can someone please help! I have read through SAP Help so much I can't see straight any more.

Can the theme "modern lines" come in hardcover book? Do only the themes with "hardcover" in the title come that way?

It's getting very old to not be able to quote in posts (like this one)!
You can, actually. Type the ">" character before the portion that you want to quote. (And for quoting the post you're replying to there is now a quotation mark icon above the posting box, which quotes the entire post. You can edit from there to eliminate portions of the quoted post, of course.)

Print photos with date stamp on them with a HP 6600

Does anyone know if the HP6600 printer is capable of printing photos with the date stamp on them?

I understand that you want to know if a way to configure the HP ePrint.
I would like to help.
Unfortunately there is no way to reconfigure the ePrint.
When you send an email to the printers ePrint address, it will print the body of the email and any attachments.
It will not print the subject line or who the email is from.
Also the ePrint feature will not resize pictures sent.
What you send is what you get.
You can get more control over ePrint with the ePrint app, but I don't believe that will suit your needs.

Populate PDF form with XML data

Although a seemingly simple task, this question has occupied way too much of my time the last week and I am asking the following out of sheer desperation and frustration.
I have a pdf form created with Designer 7.0. I have a separate XML data file to populate the form with. I can test using the preview in Designer and everything looks great. Now, all I want to do is deploy this pdf to a standard web server (IIS, Windows) such that any visitor to the site (using Reader) is able to open it/view it/print it, with the data there. That's it.
This was easily accomplished using Acrobat 6 by creating an ASP page that output an FDF file which referenced the PDF. Not so with the latest version.
I have downloaded three separate several hundred page documents that do not explain how to accomplish this task simply. So to summarize:
1. Does this task *require* a separate piece of software (Document Server) that was not required before?
2. If Document Server is not required, what are the steps to publish the pdf file and reference the data file?
Please help, extraordinarily frustrated :-(.

Ravinder, were you actually able to get your PDF Document (Form) to load with data? I have not been able to get my .NET page to populate my PDF document - the PDF loads in my Browser but has no data. How to fill depended Z-Table, created by Rapid Application Tool, with initial data?

I created a component ZBOOKING with RAD Tool and will fill booking detail table with initial data during a creation of new booking objekt.
My Booking component looks like on the picture below. It was created with Rapid Application Tool and is based on one ZBOOKING Table with was created in CRM Backend and one “Booking details” Table with was created with Rapid Application.
My Question is how should I populate initial Template-Data to this dependent “booking details” Table wenn I will create a new booking object.

After this implementation the initial data is displayed in “Booking details”.
However if I press an Edit-List-button (Assignment block) I get an error “CUST Operation”.

Where should I implement logic if I want to fill initial data just during creation of booking object and not every
time when the booking object is called or initialized?

Print only sheets with comments

How can I select and print only sheets with comments. If I have a plan set that is 300 pages long and I make comments on random pages and want to select and print just those pages, how can I do that without manually searching through the document and writing them down them printing them. The comment summary options don't help because I want to print the sheets as they are, without adding the little numbers next to them like it does. Thanks for the help!

There's no direct way to do what you want to do but there are a couple of workaround that can work.
1 - create a book with the Yearbook theme. That will allow you to have a page of multiple photos and text underneath. Do a Print to PDF. Open the pfd file with Preview and print the individual pages you need.
2 - create a gallery with the built in html layout or use BetterHTMLExport or Galerie to create a thumbnail page with comments. Galerie and BetterHTMLExport both have much nicer themes and layouts for you to control. Then open the gallery in Safari and print the thumbnail page.

Book printing with Blurb. Bug ? New interface ?

Hello, all.
As I am trying to use the newest version of Aperture for the first time I am finding that the program is somewhat unresponsive. I just attempted to add one more page to a 100-page book and the application became unresponsive. The screens shows the book now as having 1098 pages but how did this happen if all I did was add one single page ? Is there a bug ?
I also noticed the new interface. The icons are monochromatic and so are all other visual elements. Is this normal ? I am assuming they are following Lion's interface design. Quite frankly I think I liked it better the way it was before.
One question:
I am trying to print a book. I have given up on printing the book using Apple's own service due to the many limitations the biggest one of all being the 100-page limit imposed to books. Adobe's Lightroom uses Blurb, which offers more options. Books printed from Lightroom can have up to 280 pages and there are choices of papers as well as choices of cover materials the user can select when ordering books. Their books do look better.
Having said that, I have found that Aperture makes the process of creating books much simpler and it is actually easier to design a book in it when compared to Lightroom. This may change in the future as they improve this feature since this is the first version that includes the book design module but for now I think I will continue to use Aperture.
Has anyone used Aperture with Blurb's printing service ? In case you have would share any tips ? I am assuming I can print an Aperture book as a PDF file and then provide it to Blurb so that they can print the book. Is this true ?
Any help or suggestions you can share will be appreciated.

I'm not sure, but I'm wondering if your problem is due entirely to trying to add that 101-st page to your book. Though if true, that would be bad of Aperture to hang, rather than warn you and not let you do so.
As per publishing with Blurb, I use outside book vendors often, while still using Aperture to design the book. When you hit "Print book" select the "PDF" button (lower left), and either print a PDF, or choose one of the "Save PDF to folder JPG" options. I use the latter. I get a single JPG for each page of my book, and then use that in the ordering software for my book vendor.
These "Save PDF to folder JPG" options are just PDF Services Automator scripts. Search the forums about this. I modified one to suit my needs. I believe they reside in /Macintosh HD/LIbrary/PDF Services. Double click on one to edit. I made mine output a 300 DPI file in the sRGB color space. Save as a new file name.

I need to create XML Publisher report in 11i EBS pulling data from another 10.7 EBS Instance as well as 11i EBS in single report.
I am not allowed to create extract or use db links.
My problem is how to create Data Source Connection using Java Concurrent Program.
The approach I am trying is
1. create Java concurrent program to establish connection to 10.7 instance.
2. Will write the SQL queries in Data Tempalete with 2 Data Source 1 for 11i EBS and 2 for 10.7 EBS
3. Template will show the data from both query in 1 report..
Is there any other way to proceed using datasource API...

The query should be same @ detail level, only the template has to be different for summary and details.
@runtime, user can choose to see the detail/summary
Disadvantage, if the data is huge,
advantage , only one report.
option2:
create two separate reports summary and details
and create diff data and diff layout and keep it as different report
Advantage, query will perform based on the user run report, summary/detail, so that you can write efficient query.
Dis advantage , two reports query/template to be maintained.

I could not find a MF-4430 at the Canon site. Are you sure the model is correct? They have a MF4450. The Mac drivers are here:

If you are sure you have a MF4430, look around the canon site for the drivers.

Print metadata with contact sheet, or alone?

Hi, I am taking a beginner's digital photo class and we have weekly assignments to bring a contact sheet to class, with metadata next to the photo.
I am on an iMac G4 that is NOT an intel mac so I cannot use picasa, which I'm told is the easiest way. I found how to print a contact sheet in iPhoto but it will not add the photo name or the metadata.
So, I tried with my Adobe Photoshop elements and I am not sure how to do this. I found my way to 'bridge' where I can see the metadata but for the life of me, I have no idea how to print the contact sheet with the metadata, as the instructor has requested.
Can anyone help a beginner find her way? Is this doable in PS Elements?
