I know this is an old thread, but I thought you might be interested to know that I have successfully created an Android app called BigVEncoder that can stream live Flash video to a media server using RTMP. It can stream H264 video and AAC or MP3 audio in the FLV format.
Maybe this will make everyone rethink about not trying to kill off Flash video in the near future. This app streams live from your Android camera and microphone in realtime. You can find it in the Android Market at:

  • Problem in BI Publisher release 11.1.1 scheduleService v2

    Hello everyone,
I'm facing a problem when trying to schedule a Report using V2/ScheduleService in BI Publisher release 11.1.1.
I'm using soapUI 3.6.1 as the service consumer and also had enabled BIP logging (xdo.log) to see all BIP activity.
The soapUI message I'm using to schedule the report is given bellow:

The log file (xdo.log) contains the following information about the scheduled report:
    [012711_152729877][][STATEMENT] ScheduleService::scheduleReport BEGIN
    [012711_152729880][][STATEMENT] PublicReportService::initSession BEGIN

It seems that, in fact, the request has been recognized but the service does actually, nothing...
Some help would be very appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,

  • Muse 4.0 official release: Bugs!

    Found this message after publishing:
Also this release still does not fix dynamic height for contents from BC. Infact this release doesn't pick all the template elements. I suggest the team resolves bugs effectively before releasing updates. Too much project management is affecting quality of product release. Especially on the issue of dynamic content height, this bug was reported several times yet it was not fixed.

Can't help diagnose the JS error without a URL for the page generating the error.
As for the dynamic height issue, the item on the master page needs to be a rectangle and not a text frame. Due to numerous other problems caused by it, a text frame on a master page will no longer grow when an object on the normal page that's within it's bounds happens to grow in the browser (due to being a BC module in a text frame or HTML object). If the outer item on the master page is a rectangle, then this resizing due to containment continues to behavior as in 3.2.x.

  • Can publish release build.

I am getting this error on a project. Flash Builder could not publish the project source: null
Does anyone have any ideas. The details is a java.lang.NullPointerException.
    Cheers Rob

    Hi,
I think something's wrong with either your FB 4.7 installation, or how you updated the AIR SDK. I just walked through the exact steps you listed (except I already had the AIR SDK overlayed) and I can build a desktop AIR app without issue. I get prompted for the password and everything.
I wish I had a better answer, but I'd suggest uninstalling and re-installing FB 4.7, be sure to remove preferences as well. Then before you update the AIR SDK, try building an AIR app with the base SDK that's included in 4.7. If you can get it to compile and prompt you for the password, then it's the way you overlayed the SDK that's messed something up.
Make sure you download the correct AIR SDK that's specific to Flex. On this download page: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/air-sdk-download.html is a reference in small print that says: Note : Flex users will need to download the original AIR SDK without the new compiler. Mac Windows. Make sure it's that version of the SDK (without the ASC 2.0 compiler). Then try overlaying the SDK again and see if that works.
I can definitely confirm that what you are experiencing isn't the norm, and that you can get the latest AIR SDK to work with FB 4.7
    Good luck!

  • 1.1.4 released: Bug Fixes

    Sorry, no other info...downloading now...
    165MB.
    Scott

Here is an article I found addressing iPod Touch and iPhone issues:
"...Early reports indicate that there are no obvious new features, but it does "break" unofficial apps (jailbreak). Apple was to announce the iPhone Software Development Kit (SDK) this month, so the release may add official support for 3rd party applications written with the SDK. The 1.1.4 firmware update is presently available through iTunes for your iPhone and iPod Touch.
    Notes:
    No Flash support
    iToner 1.0.6 still works
ZiPhone may work, but the developer warns not to upgrade as it hasn't been tested.
Text message ordering fixed, according to one report
    Camera works better for some
Safari Tabs now preserve content (don't go to "white" screens)
    Fixes Bluetooth connectivity"
    (Source-www.macrumors.com)
The one that stood out to me was that the Safari tabs preserve their content instead of going blank.
I also believe that the Safari crashes and App. crashes are fixed, just not addressed in this article.

  • Logic Releases Bug-Fix and Enhancement List for 7.2 & 7.2.1

...I found this announcement on a post from nearly 1 month ago on www.logicprohelp.com...
"Yesterday, Apple released two new articles listing in detail the enhancements that found their way in Logic 7.2 and Logic 7.2.1"
    Logic Pro/Express 7.2.1 Enhancements
    =AND=
    Logic Pro/Express 7.2.1 Enhancements

    Woah.
Those are fixes? And there's still problems left? woah.
Like swiss cheese, this program is.

    but I love it anyway.

  • 2.2.1 released, bug fixes - including lossless skipping?

    Downloading now...
    Scott

This update didn't fix lossless skipping for me...I have a song with UTF-8 characters in the ALAC tag, and it works fine on my iPod 5G, but not on my iPhone which I just updated. It shows the album pic briefly and moves on to the next song
Of course this isn't the skipping that you guys are talking about...this is skipping the song altogether ...

  • Bug 6002713: Describe table@db_link gives an error that the object does not

Not sure if this is correct place to report on a known bug, can't seem to find a bug site/database on the SQL Developer home page.
Anyway in SQL Developer 1.2.1.32.13 release notes it says that the bug that stops you describing tables via a database link has been resolved.
This doesn't seem to be the case, well 100% fixed anyway.
The following statement works in SQLPlus but not in SQLDeveloper.
    DESCRIBE schema_name.object_name@database_link;
    You still get the message
ERROR: object object_name@database_link does not exist
It looks like the schema_name component is removed before the describe is executed?

    Hi Cliff,</br>
<p>The Release Notes list the main known issues. So the bug #6002713 is a known issue and not a bug fixed. There is a separate Bugs Fixed list.
<p>Not all bugs logged are published. I have now published this bug, so you can track it through Metalink.
<p>Finally, while SQL Developer is a free product, you are supported through Metalink, and hence Oracle Support, if you have a Database Support contract. This detail is available from the "Pricing, Support & Licensing Questions" document on the SQL Developer page on OTN.

  • Once I've created my folio how do I publish it?

Hi, I've ceated a folio for a client and I'm awaiting approval. Once I get the approval the client will expect me to publish the folio. I've not published a folio so I'm trying to learn how to do this and what it involves. This way I hope I can do this without any problems and not run the risk of letting the client down.
I'm aware that this involves a "certificate" and that I need an "Adobe dedeloper ID", I think? Also that I need to submit the folio to Adobe and these needs to pass some knid of test. As you can see I'm very unclear on this part.
The problem I have is that I'm unable to test this process without actually publishing the app. Are there any tutorials on this or can anybody explain this process to me. I'm keen to learn!!! Thanks

Great, now if you are creating a multi issuer app, Publish as Publc, use the same id as title id in Viewer Builder.

  • 10.1.3 gold - bug fix list please

    JDev team
Similar to previous releases, can you publish a bug fix list for the latest 10.1.3 release please?
    Cheers,
    CM.

    Hi,
Is this a download page you are writing?
Assuming you are using ADF Faces and Faces controller, from a design perspective it may be better to reference the AM within a backing bean and an expose the data to the JSP using bean methods. It's much easier to code in a backing bean too.
You can use the FacesContext within the backing bean to access the binding layer using expression language.
    regards,

  • About Bug ID: 4992645

In the published release notes below:
Sun Java System Message Queue Release Notes
    Version 3 2005Q1 (3.6)
Bug ID 4992645 was already fixed.
"Message Queue Resource Adapter: JMS Resource Adapter needs to support connection pooling."
However, as I searched for the details of the bug fix in http://bugs.sun.com, I got zero result. Is the bug id correct or has it been renamed to a different id? Would appreciate a lot if someone can give any info about this bug id.
Thanks and looking forward to your reply.

Hi Jaime,  I updated the bug. It should be visible in bug toolkit or bug search tool in 24-48 hours.  Regards, Wes

  • Sql developer bug list

I find the link of sql developer 1.2 bug fix list. Where can I find the place of bug list of sql developer 1.2 so that we can pay attention to the bugs?

With a Metalink account, users can ask if a bug has been logged and if it is logged to be made public. If there is no bug, a new bug can be logged. Development teams across Oracle use the bug database all the time to track issues. This includes issues between releases and those raised during the development cycle. It does not make sense to publish all bugs.
While monitoring this forum, the SQL Developer team logs bugs and, when related to a specific thread, provide the bug number and publish the bug. Metalink remains the primary support mechanism for logging and tracking bugs.

  • Numeric data is not displayed in BI Publisher 11g report

    Hi,
    I'm using Oracle BI 11g (11.1.1.6.0).
I'm experiencing a serious issue with numeric data in reports created with Publisher.
When I define the query in the data model, numeric data gets declared as "integer" (even if it should be "double"). Anyway, when creating the layout all data is correctly shown.
The issue emerges when I run the report in interactive mode: numeric data is not displayed at all.
If I run it in HTML mode or other, I get proper results.
I tried to explicitly CAST numeric data in the query to number(21, 6) but I get no different result.
Any help or suggestion is warmly welcome.
    Thanks,
    Cristina

Yes, assuming that you are using the Standalone version, following are some excerpt from user guide.
10g see Oracle® Business Intelligence Publisher
    Report Designer's Guide
    Release 10.1.3.4
    Part No. E12187-01
Chapter 6 Building a Data Template
    Supported Column Types
    CLOB (conditionally supported)
The CLOB must contain text or XML. Data cannot be escaped inside the CLOB column.
    And for 11g see
    Oracle® Fusion Middleware
Data Modeling Guide for Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher
    Release 11g (11.1.1)
    Part No. E18862-01
    Chapter 3 Creating Data Sets
Using Data Stored as a Character Large Object (CLOB) in a Data Model
BI Publisher supports using data stored as a character large object (CLOB) data type in
your data models. This feature enables you to use XML data generated by a separate
process and stored in your database as input to a BI Publisher data model.
Use the Query Builder to retrieve the column in your SQL query, then use the data
model editor to specify how you want the data structured. When the data model is
executed, the data engine can structure the data either as:
    • a plain character set within an XML tag name that can be displayed in a report (for
    example, an Item Description)
    • structured XML

  • Issue with conditional formatting in XML publisher report

    Hi All,
I am working on a XML report where in I am required to use conditional formatting to highlight changes, if there is change in any of the column value. The condition is required to be implemented on a text column as well as a number column. I have tried to use the conditional formatting available in the BI Publisher Release 10.1.3.2, wherein I have compared the two columns, and when they are not equal to, then formatting should change to red color; but the same is not working in the excel output.
    Can anybody help here?
    Thanks,
    Nitin

Cross conditional formatting ie formatting based on some other column is not supported in pivot view.
There are some workaround.See if that helps
