Query on Sales Order Analysis

Dear Experts
I have written a Query for Sales Order Analysis and would like to have help on this.
The query is used for generating daily report for Sales Order on number of documents (Sales Order), total amount of sales orders and total GP of Sales Order. The query is written as below:
SELECT T0.[DocNum], SUM(T0.DocTotal) AS 'Total', SUM(T0.U_Total_GP) AS 'Total GP'
FROM ORDR T0 WHERE T0.[DocDate] =[%0] GROUP BY T0.[DocNum]
Union ALL
SELECT '', SUM(T0.DocTotal) AS 'Total', SUM(T0.U_Total_GP) AS 'Total GP'
FROM ORDR T0 WHERE T0.[DocDate] =[%0]
After executing the query, a selection criteria of date appears and after a date is selected, the report shown information required. Everything is fine with this query except I would also like to incdude the total number of Sales Order (per day) right below the column "DocNum".
Is it possible to achieve this?
Thank You
Regards
Elton

Try this:
SELECT T0.[DocNum], SUM(T0.DocTotal) AS 'Total', SUM(T0.U_Total_GP) AS 'Total GP'
FROM ORDR T0 WHERE T0.[DocDate] =[%0] GROUP BY T0.[DocNum]
Union ALL
SELECT count(DocDate), SUM(T0.DocTotal) AS 'Total', SUM(T0.U_Total_GP) AS 'Total GP'
FROM ORDR T0 WHERE T0.[DocDate] =[%0]

  • Query for Sales Order Analysis

    Dear Experts
I have written a Query for Sales Order Analysis and would like to have help on this.
The query is used for generating daily report for Sales Order on number of documents (Sales Order), total amount of sales orders and total GP of Sales Order. The query is written as below:
SELECT T0.[DocNum], SUM(T0.DocTotal) AS 'Total', SUM(T0.U_Total_GP) AS 'Total GP'

where U_Total_GP is a UDF for storing the GP of each order.
After executing the query, a selection criteria of date appears and after a date is selected, the report shown information required. However, the query does not calculate column total for total amount and total GP. Although I know the total for each column can be displayed by pressing "Ctrl" + Click on the column title, it would have to be done from time to time.
Therefore, I would like to modify my query in order to calculate the column totals when executed. Are there any suggestions for this?
    Thank you
    Regards
    Elton

    Hi Elton,
    Try this:
SELECT T0.[DocNum], SUM(T0.DocTotal) AS 'Total', SUM(T0.U_Total_GP) AS 'Total GP'
    FROM ORDR T0 WHERE T0.[DocDate] =[%0] GROUP BY T0.[DocNum]
    Union ALL
SELECT '', SUM(T0.DocTotal) AS 'Total', SUM(T0.U_Total_GP) AS 'Total GP'
    FROM ORDR T0 WHERE T0.[DocDate] =[%0]
    ORDER BY T0.[DocNum]

    Hi Ash,
There are some issues that must be defined before you have the exact query.
Do you have freight charges or non-inclusive tax? If you have, freight charges and tax amounts must be included?
Depending on you grouping rule, you can have lines from more than one order in a single invoice. In this case, as invoice amount you want the sum of all lines, or only the lines from that order?
Below is an example using two views. It assumes that grouping rules split lines from different order into different invoices.
    Hope it helps,

    Hi Ash,
Table RA_CUSTOMER_TRX_ALL can be joined to RA_CUSTOMER_TRX_LINES_ALL table through CUSTOMER_TRX_ID column. The table RA_CUSTOMER_TRX_LINES_ALL.INTERFACE_LINE_ATTRIBUTE6 = OE_ORDER_LINES_ALL.LINE_ID. And from the LineId, you can get the HeaderId os the OE_ORDER_HEADERS_ALL table.
You must have visualized the query by now.

  • Change in an LOV query of Sales Order Form not working

    Hi,
I wish to change the the Order Type (in the Sales Header) displayed in the Sales Order Form when viewed from a particular Responsibility.(11i Instance)
To be specific only certain order types should be displayed in the LOV when the User tries to create Order from that Responsibility.
In that process I created an FP with Action --> Builtin -->Create Record Group From Query
Then in Property-->Object Type-->LOV and Target Object -->ORDER_TYPE Value-->Name of my Query Group
I downloaded the Sales Order Form and modified the Query of the Group keeping the columns selected and the view used same and added in the Group I created.
    But it didn't work out.
I tried out by changing my Target Object to SRV_ORDER_TYPE and its corresponding query from the Oracle Form.
    But still it didn't work.
Please tell me where I'm going wrong.
Am I not choosing the correct target record group LOV?

    Hi Robert,
I have successfully accessed a matrix using Visual Basic .Net. It has been quite a challenge while I was at it.
One important thing to understand is that (unless you access the datasource) in order to access a particular control in a matrix object, this control needs to be visible and enabled. It is like simulating a user accessing the matrix via GUI... if a control is not enabled, you cannot access it (as said via control). That might explain question 1.
Short sample on matrix handling is here:
    http://www.itwiki.net/ow.asp?SboHowToReadFromAndWriteIntoMatrix
    <b>Q2 - Cell count:</b>
I have personally never used the Cells count method. It should always return the number of rows. My only guess here is that you are using an old reference on the matrix object in which the rows are not there yet.
    Dim oMatrix As SAPbouiCOM.Matrix
    Dim oColumn As SAPbouiCOM.Column
    Dim oEditText as SAPbouiCOM.EditText
      oMatrix=YourSboForm.Items.Item(38).Specific
      oColumn=oMatrix.columns.item(strColumnname).specific
      oEditText=oColumn.items.Item(1).specific
      Msgbox(oEditText.String)
The above code should get you the first cell of the first row of the given matrix.
    HTH Lutz Morrien
P.S.: If you need any more sample code, check with the SAP matrix sample or send me a mail (adress see Http://www.itwiki.net)

  • Problem with query on sales order

Hello guys this is my first post here. I have a query which is to show everything on the sales order that has been allocated. Problem is since i have to use the oibt and ibt1 table (batches table) it displays duplicate and it shows every batch number for that allocation.
basically i just want to see what i see on the sales order and two colums displaying total needed and total allocated.
Problem is i tried to do
inv1.quantity-oibt.quantity as 'Total needed', however since for example i have two batches, the first time it subtracts the total allocated from the total needed, however on the second batch it looks back on the total quantity displaying wrong data.
    Example
    ITEM | Sales ORDER #  | QTY NEEDED | QTY Allocated | Total Needed|
    1          34895                     50                          35                 15
    1          34895                     50                           5                  45
On the example above the first calculation was correct, however the 2nd time it went back to the 50 qty,
I want to figure how to get the 2nd row to display 10 on the total needed. I was thinking of using grouping on the bachnum but i don't know how to integrate it into this query.

SELECT T0.TaxDate AS 'SO Date', T0.CardCode AS 'Cust Code', T0.CardName AS 'Customer',
    T0.NumAtCard AS 'Customer PO Ref#', T0.DocNum AS 'Sales Order# ', T1.ItemCode, T1.Dscription
AS 'Item Description', T1.Quantity AS 'Ordered Qty', T1.OpenQty, T1.OpenCreQty, T1.ShipDate
AS 'Projected Ship Date' , ibt1.quantity 'Allocated Quantity', oibt.U_UTIReceiptNo
    ,oibt.U_BookingID
    FROM ORDR T0 INNER JOIN RDR1 T1 ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry
    INNER JOIN OITM T2 ON T1.ItemCode = T2.ItemCode
    left outer join ibt1 on t1.docentry = ibt1.baseentry and t1.linenum = ibt1.baselinnum and t1.objtype = ibt1.basetype
    left outer join oibt on oibt.batchnum = ibt1.batchnum and oibt.itemcode = ibt1.itemcode
    left outer join inv1 on inv1.itemcode = t0.itemcode
    WHERE T1.LineStatus = 'O' and T2.InvntItem = 'Y'
    ORDER BY T0.CardCode, T0.DocNum
The query works, I'm able to run it, it's just the problem where there's 2 batches for one part, therefore the formula is not 100% correct.

  • Formatted Search query on Sales Order Lines

    Hi Experts,
I have a client that needs a Formatted Search that will bring back values according to the following Scenario:
The Formatted search will be placed on the Sales Order Lines RDR1.U_UPC field.
On a Sales Order I have created UDFs: RDR1.U_Label and RDR1.U_UPC
On the BP Master Data I have created the UDFs: OCRD.U_UPCChoice
On the Item Master Data I have created the UDFs: OITM.UPCRetail and OITM.UPCLoc and OITM.UPCItem and
    OITM,UPCOther
When the RDR1.U_Label field is '1', I need the RDR1.U_UPC to be the text 'not Applicable'
When the RDR1.U_Label field is '2', I need it to look at the OCRD.U_UPCChoice.
If that value is '1' then it must bring back the OITM.UPCRetail Value back in the RDR1_UPC field,
If that value is '2' then it must bring back the OITM.UPCLoc Value back in the RDR1_UPC field,
If that value is '3' then it must bring back the OITM.UPCItem Value back in the RDR1_UPC field,
If that value is '4' then it must bring back the text 'Look at Attachment'
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    SELECT Case T0.U_UPCChoice
    When 1 THEN T1.U_UPCRetail
    WHEN 2 THEN T1.U_UPCLoc

  • Select query for sales order for particular customer oder text and storage

    Hi All,
I am trying to retriev customer order text and customer storage bin from the following select query, but it's giving huge number of records, I want to restrict the number of records.
Select customer order text, customer storage bin
                       Select STXH–TDOBJECT, STXH–TDID
                       Where  TDOBJECT = VBBP
                              TDID = Y001
                              TDID = Y007
Please let me know how to restirct the number of records.
    Thanks,
    Ranjan

    Try using the FM 'READ_TEXT'.
NAME will be the order number concatenated with the item number.
And you have the ID and OBJECT.  You may also need to use the LANGUAGE.

  • Find Sales Order Item Basic Data by Elements query fails

I am trying to consume Find Sales Order Item Basic Data by Elements in .NET 3.0.
Every thing appears to be working fine -- I could query by PO number, Creation time, SalesOrganisationID etc.
However, the most basic query is mysteriously failing. I just want to query by Sales order number, and have given a valid sales order number 6718 that exists in SAP.
It fails giving the following errors:
    (in Log.LogItem.Note variable):
    <b>"Conversion failed: Invalid input format"</b>
    (in Log.LogItem.TypeID variable):
    <b>"701(SFB)"</b>
Code is pretty simple, and I am just trying to query Saler Order number 6718. Of course there is nothing wrong with its format.
From the ESOA site, all I could get was:
    <i>----
    QUOTE -
The following values are optional selection criteria for restricting the search result:
    SelectionByID – Document number range
    INCLUSION_EXCLUSION_CODE
    INTERVAL_BOUNDARY_TYPE_CODE
    LOWER_BOUNDARY_ID
    Value
    UPPER_BOUNDARY_ID Value
    Value
    UNQUOTE -
    </i>
I could not even have any  documentation on what to put in InclusionExclusionCode, and IntervalBoundaryTypeCode. They apper to be some Global Data Types for which I couldn't find any documentation. By sifting through Wiki, I just guessed a couple of values praying that it may work. I am a bit new to ESOA, but have expertise in .NET 3.0. Would someone guide me where to find the documentation for that, where are the error codes listed, so that I make the queries with little better preparation.

And Now I want to Query the Sales Order If the Same New Order Number has Queried then It is Properly Queried. But If I am trying to Query Some Other Existing Sales Order other than the new one then It Shows the Error Messgae as Query Caused No Records to be Retrived. We have R12 12.1 Instance.
Can anyone Helpme in Solving this Issue will be highly appriciable.
    Advance Thanks for your Efforts.
    Regards,
    Murugan. AR.

Was this working before? If yes, any changes have been done recently?
Have you tried to regenerate the form via adadmin and see if it helps?
Do you have any invalid objects in the database?
You may try to obtain the FRD log file and see if more details about the issue are collected in the logs.

  • Report on sales order material

    Hi
i am working in implementation project first time.We are implementing sd module in bi. We are working on the infocube 0sd_c03.I have to develop the reports on "*sales order material". As i am new kindly explain me what is procedure step by step
    Tushar

    Hi Tushar,
1.Execute T-code RSA1, Under menu options on LHS, goto Metadata Repository.
You will find 2 windows adjacent to eachother.
Under "SAP Business Information Warehouse" window, Click on "Local Objects" under Heading Business Content.
After Selecting that, you will find a huge list of all the objects on RHS window such as KPI's,Infoarea,Application, info object catalog etc..
Click on "Infocube". (note:System may take time to display all list of cubes.)
You will find a list of all infocubes which are ready to use (out-of-the-box) from Business content.
Search for your cube ,use CTRL+F /Find option (give Sales cube or 0SD_C03 in search).
Click on the cube Sales cube :0SD_C03.
Now you will find all the details about this cube. Each and every data objects are dispayed.
Goto reports section, you will find a huge list of reports already built on your sales cube. There you will find the report 0sd_c03_Q0012.
If you need to know which key figs/characteristics/variables used in this query, then just click on that query, it will take you to a new screen displaying details about that query.
Once you gather all the details, then after Gap analysis, if you feel that, yes the standard out of the box report matches your requirement or it almost meets the requirement and if you need to do slight enhancements then you can go ahead in instaling this report and save a lot of time instead of starting from scratch.
To install this report, pre-requisites are- you should haveinstalled your cube, underlying DSO, transformation, all keyfigs, all chars, data source etc.
and then use T-code RSORBCT/you can use BI Content menu on LHS in RSA1 screen to install this report.
If pre-requisites are pending, you need to install all the objects first, you can use RSORBCT to install your cubes.
    2. It is advisable to search the query you need in the business content, if the query matches the requirement, you save a lot of time in developing the query. If you didnt find the suiatable query in Busines content, then you need to develop it from scratch.
    3)
so when we run the query in bex query designer on cube 0sd_c03 by using 0sd_c03_Q0012 then what are things we have to take care. In rows and columns which chartersitic and key figures we have to put?
I hope the query 0sd_c03_Q0012 "sales order material" may meet your requirements. If its not then try to get what is missing in this. If you need to enhance by adding any new objects, then first install this query from Business content, and then modify this query as per your need. and then activate and it will be ready to use.
You can install any object as many times as possible from business content, its just the same as copy and paste.
So only business content can help you on first phase regarding your requirement, because SAP has developed these reports at standard level used world wide thoughout industry.
    Hope this clears your queries.
