Question: Is there any project of porting Fedora's multiseat function?

Hello. This is my first post in the Arch Linux Forums and hope I'm not breaking any rule. I looked around using the search tool but couldn't find any post covering exactly my question, so, here I go!
I've been using Arch for some time now and I love it. I own an internet cafe which uses fedora 17 to run a multiseats environment using several Plugable USB 2.0 Universal Laptop Docking Stations. So far so good; however I couldn't help but craving for that feature [multiseat] in my favorite distro: Arch. My question would be, is there any project working on porting/incorporating this feature into Arch?
Unfortunately I'm not good when it comes to programming, but I'll be more than happy and willing to help with the testing if necessary [as I said, I own several Docking stations].

In my own words: Multiseating refers to the Operating System's ability of allowing several users to run several sessions [terminals] out of the same machine at the same time without interfering with each other. Basically you could turn 1 computer into many.
I was refering to the Fedora's ability to handle multiseating using the Docking Stations out of the box.
I like to keep my system updated with the latest software, therefore I'd rather have Arch as my Linux choice for my internet cafe since Fedora is not a rolling release.
I've tried the multiseat functionality in Arch with an installation of Arch [using the latest 64 bits running systemd, kde fully installed, and one plugable Docking Station]. All I got was a green screen when I attached a monitor to the Docking Station [which -as I read somewhere- it's a good thing somehow; meaning it detects the device but requires further tweaking to get it to work].
I guess I'll play with some tweaks a little to kill some time and learn by trial and error.

I don't use Time Machine either but the option for this function is in the Time Machine options.
Open System Preferences > Time Machine
Click 'Options'
The bottom option should be about auto-saving. To stop applications from locking documents, uncheck the box. To extend the peiod before the document is locked, select the appropriate time from the drop-down menu.

Don't think so. The point of the offline reading list is to allow you to read it later without going online. It has to download the content to make this possible.

The thing is: I love AIR, hate spark, loved the 2006 pre-spark functionality. It is so much more convenient and user friendly. Given the choice between having the display seperate from the processing, or having it be convenient and easy to work with, I choose the later option.
For the most part it seems like the AIR api is like a layer on top of the spark - flex system.. I would like to be able to over lay the same AIR functionality on top of the the old system....
Possible or no?

Are there any project analysis tools to optimize a project?

So, our devs use Coverity (http://www.coverity.com) to scan their code to look for problem areas they can refactor. My boss asked me if there are something out there like that but for documentation projects. I know RH offers the Tools | Reports, but I'm worndering if there are Adobe or 3rd party tools out there that can analyze a RH documentation project in the background to provide you with a list of items to fix or improve. I'm also looking for something that checks a documentation project for duplicate paragraphs, that we could then rewrite as snippets.

I am not aware of any tool that does what you want with RoboHelp but I wonder if there are such tools more readily available for Word. If there are, you could generate a printed document and work with that.

I can't reset my security questions, is there any way to fix this?

I can't remember the answers to my original questions and want to reset them so I can buy music. However, every time I reset them, they just revert back to the old ones. I hit save and it tells me that everything's been set, but if I log out then log back they've reverted back to the old questions. I've tried to contact costumer service through the link given on iTunes but the page just unlessly loads after selecting iTunes, so I have no idea what to do.

I am wondering if anyone knows if there is a place I can retrieve past information from Stickes notes (the app, not the widget). I inadvertently cut-and-pasted a set of email addresses insteady of using copy-and-paste, and they are not available in the message I pasted into because I was using BCC.

If three users want to update the same row at the same time, all of them get the shared

Yes, I know, that I can execute query on panent entity (select a from Animal a order by ...) and then loop throught the result list and delete not needed objects OR I can execute some queries on needed child entities and then merge them into one list and sort it, BUT both ways it will be much slower than generetion of needed SQL query straight to DB.
I know, that in Hibernate's HQL there is a way to build such query with something like this:
select * from Animal a where a.class = Cat or a.class = Dog

In JPA 2.0 which we are implementing right now you will be able to execute queries like:

There are two ways to create data block:
1. query table or view or
2. stored procedure.
After 9i, AS has a PL/SQL compiler. Do we still see the advantage of using stored procedure, as claimed that it is faster due to the stored procedure always compiled?

The "fast" side is not the only one benefit of stored procedures.
Of course, you can use the BULK COLLECT functionality which is not available into Forms.
But stored procedure is a good way to perform the following actions:
complex handeling of datas (insert, update or delete that generate severals actions on other tables).
externalization/centralisation of business rules.(separate the design and functionnal work).
more secutity, because you can prohibit manipulation of datas outside of the procedures.
You can change the rules without modify the forms.
