Question Outbound Price Catalogue (VPRICAT) - Scales

Hi to all,
does anybody now how to activate scales in Outbound Price Catalogue (TCode VPRICAT)?
Although we have maintained scale for price condition in TCode VK11/VK12, scales are not determined in Price Catalogue.
Thank you for your help.
BR, Simona

Hi,
I think Search UI is designed for reading standard Price Information.
We use both standard Price Information and custom price field for sort purpose.

  • SD Price Catalogue

    Hello EveryBody,
We need to send out an automated Price Catalogue to one of our customers every week covering the pricing for the next week or any other changes. Only one date can be entered in the price determination tab of the catalogue in VPRICAT. If I leave this blank then the validity of the material in the catalog is supposed to be taken but it looks like only one price is included in the message?
How would it be possible to include several prices (in case there is a price change say tomorrow we need to include today's price and tomorrow;s one in the same transmission).
We have just this month upgraded to SAP EEC6 and this is now an imporant requirement. Any help would be appeciated on what we can do to get round this limitation.
    Thank You

    Hi Gordon,
I have a work around for this (though it is not a robust solution, it might work). It increases the workload of people who maitain pricing condition records in your org.
You may create another pricing condition for future prices.
Lets say ZPR0 is your actual pricing condition and ZPR1 is new condition record for future prices (make sure ZPR1 is not used in any pricing procedures).
Now if ZPR0 is $100 for current week and $95 from next week on, ask your master data team to maintain these two condition records normally and ask them to maintain ZPR1 with $95 with current validity. After doing this please include ZPR1 in requirements profile assigned to price catalogue. This will ensure transmission of both prices with same validity date.
Now all you have to do is to change validity date of ZPR1 (by reading valid from date of ZPR0 condition record with valid from date in next week) by using relevant customer functions in price catalogue transmission program (plenty of customer functions are available in this program)
while transmitting make sure you will transmit ZPR1 in future price for next week (this can be achieved in EDI mapping)
    Hope that helps.
    Thanks

  • Question re Accessing catalogues and files from an external hard drive in Elements 6.

Having just acquired an ehd, I have successfully carried out a trial back up of an Elements 6 2000 picture catalogue from an XP based PC, using the Elements 6 full back-up process. This process is intended to be used eventually to transfer this and other catalogues onto a new Windows 8 PC installed with Elements 11.
However, in the interim I would also like to be able to access the picture files and the catalogue data on the ehd from a Vista based laptop which also has Elements 6 installed. Can you please advise how to do this without carrying out a full restore process that would load all of the files onto my laptop's hard drive.
In transferring the picture files to the ehd I also seem to have lost the original file structure that was on my PC, as folders have been renamed numerically and are all held individually in the main folder of the ehd. Whilst this doesn't matter too much whilst the files remain on the ehd, provided the catalogue still knows where to find them, has the original file structure been permanently lost, or can I recreate it when I eventually restore the files and catalogue on the new Windows 8 PC?
I'm anxious to get this process right as I have a much larger catalogue to similarly back-up and transfer, once I have acquired the new PC, and was hoping to be able to similarly access this catalogue by my laptop from the ehd as there is insufficent hard disk space on my laptop to hold all the 20,000 files involved.
    Please help
    Gardener 179

Thanks for your help re my original questions.
Reassured regarding not having lost the file structure of my pictures, and bearing in mind the relatively small catalogue I had backed up, I thought that rather than restoring by leaving the picture files on the EHD, I would after all restore to the laptop hard drive, as a trial run before dealing with my main catalogue.
The restore was successful but raised a number of further issues that I would appreciate your advice on:-
    1) The original catalogue name was not used in the restoration process. The restored catalogue on the laptop has simply been named "Pictures". Is this normal and if I now rename the restored catalogue will this create problems with any subsequent supplementary backups of the catalogue?
    2) In restoring the catalogue I heeded the Adobe Help and specified the Vista folder C:\Users\Maurice\Pictures as the location for the picture files rather than simply restoring the original XP folder structure. However, since I also wanted to retain the lower level folder structure of my XP files (which are basically date files) I then specified to "Retain the Original Folder Structure". This has resulted in the full XP folder structure being created within \Pictures on the laptop.
Is it possible to avoid this situation occurring, or will I have to remove the unwanted XP sub-folder structure from the laptop and reconnect the thumbnails in the Photoshop catalogue to the new file locations? Also if I have to move files in this way will I once again have problems with any subsequent restorations of the same catalogue?
I have also a couple of supplementary questions re the initial backup to the EHD which I have now looked at more closely:-
    1) The original XP catalogue has 1853 picture files, (and this is identical to that subsequently restored on the laptop), yet in backing up the catalogue to the EHD it seems that in excess of 2200 picture files have been created. Why is this?
    2) As previously advised the pictures are held on the EHD numbered sequentially as "b000001" etc, and due to my selecting the EHD top level root folder as the destination for the back up are held in F:\. Should I have created a new folder, say "Backup 1" on the EHD, and then specified this as the destination folder, as I am concerned that on backing up further catalogues the existing picture files will get overwritten and the Photoshop Backup and Catalogue files confused with previous backups? If so can I move the existing back up files to a new folder now without causing any problems?
Finally could you confirm what would have happened to the folder structure on the EHD had I carried out the Restore process by locating the picture files on the EHD but retaining their original file structure. Would the picture files have been copied into their original file structure for use by the restored catalogue and the duplicate backup files left unaltered, or would the backup picture files have been replaced by the restored file structure? Also would the "catalogue file" be transferred to the Laptop C:\ drive in this process or would this also stay on the EHD and be accessed from there by Photoshop?
Sorry for all the questions but I really want to fully understand what is going on before risking doing anything to move my main catalogue.

  • Question about waveform chart time scale

    Hello,
I have question regarding to time scale on my chart, I want  it to show the actual measured time, for example  from 0-30 seconds, but instead my minimum value is 302654789854 . Please help me to fix it.
    Regards ,
    Stella Deheryan

You can modify the way the time is displayed on the axis by right clicking the chart and selecting properties. On the display format tab, select relative time. This should show the X-axis scale as HH:MM. Or pick any other type of formatting you want.

    Hi,
You are correct, But You can change it on QAS due to client will not modifiable.
Goto Developement System and run scal.
Most important is to change/extend factory calander and save it. Request will be generated as Workbench. Transport it to Production System.

  • How to greate price agreements with scales

    Hi,
at the moment I have problems to create price agreements incl. different scales in CRM 4.0.
I don´t know which bapi or function module is the correct one. In the last hours I used following function modules:
    - CRM_PRICE_AGRMNTS_MAINTAIN_OW
    - /SAPCND/MNT_MAINTAIN_OW
Sometimes I have no negativ response from the function module, but there are no price agreements in the database...
Do you have an advice for me? Which function module will solve my problems and how do I have to provide the interface?
Thank you for your help - regards
    Stefan Wieder

    Hi All,
Has anyone used /SAPCND/MNT_MAINTAIN_OW to delete an entry , could you please specify the needed parameters . I tried to used /SAPCND/MNT_DELETE_OW but was getting the error "The condition records are not found in the buffer" . And also while debugging i found that it was first going to Maintain FM and then to the DELETE FM , but i am not able to find the certain parameter which is gettign passed from maintain to delete the record .
    Thanks in advance,

  • Ext Services management - Question on price change indicator

We are setting up outline agreements with item category D.  We specify the service master numbers on the Service tab, with the pre-negotiated price for each service.  I have checked the "Price change in entry sheet" to ON for a few services.
We create the PO as a blanket amount.  On the Service tab, we do not list the services.  On the Limits tab, we list the overall limit amount, and enter the outline agreement number.  When we enter the SES, the prices are pulled from the outline agreement, and cannot be changed.  This is what we want for most services, except for those that I turned the Price Change to ON.  Is it possible to make the Price Change in SES indicator work on the outline agreement?

    Hi Jen
By just selecting 'price change allowed' indicator in Contract will not serve your purpose.
While defining 'Limits' in PO, there is a 'Price change in entry sheet allowed' indicator in 'Contracts' tab. You select this indicator. You can also include your contract there.
    I am sure it works.

  • SIP Trunk Question - Outbound Calls Fail

    Hi Folks,
I am using a Cisco 2821 as a router that will convert a SIP trunk to an E1 PRI. Si my setup is:
    SIp-Trunk > 2821 Router > E1 port on 3900> CUCM
Inbound calls are working fine, but outbound are failing. I am starting to think its due to transcoding issue on the SIP-GW maybe (there is nothing configured on it for XCODE etc).
I think my configuration is fine as I am able to recieve calls inbound. Just outbound fail.

    Hi
909 is what I meant to dial as that is the help desk for the telco.
I tried mobile numbers as well getting the same error codes. And international numbers.
If it's based on the called number being wrong then I guess I will have to play with the calling party ID and call type as well... Maybe this is causing it to fail??

  • Refurbished Macbook Pro Hypthetical Question on Price *HELP!

I am looking  into buying the refurbished macbook pro 13" 4gb memory with Lion OSX that goes for $957.00. However, would it be wise for me to wait another month (hypothetically if a new Macbook pro came out) do you think the price of the refurbished machines would lower again?
Thanks for your help in advance!

Really, don't play the game of "wait until the next thing comes out." There is always something newer and better around the corner. Buy a computer when you need it.
Apple has not announced any new machines coming out. If and when it happens, there may or may not be a price change on refurbs. That's pretty much the best answer you'll get here.
    Best of luck.

  • 24" iMac - 2.4Ghz v 2.8Ghz - A question about price and spec.

    Hello,
I hope someone can help. I'm going to get a 24" iMac on friday, and want a 2.8 extreme one. I'm going to max out the ram myself, probably from crucial.
It works out cheaper to buy the 2.4Ghz version, and max it up to 2.8Ghz on the apple store. Are there any other differences I should be aware of? I know that it ships with less ram, but as I'll be replacing it, it isn't an issue, and I'll be increasing the hard-drive. It still comes in cheaper than the equivalent.
    Thanks in advance!

    Elusive,
Any luck finding an answer? I have a similar problem.
My Hard Drive fan is running 5000-5500rpm all the time.
I've followed the instructions for resetting the SMC:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=303446
But this did not help. It seemed to get progressively worse. At first going full speed only occasionally, then after around an hour of use, then less. As of tonight it comes on when I turn on the machine (after being unplugged for several minutes) and stays on at the >5000rpm speeds.
If you find a solution, let us know.

  • Selling pricing superceed scale price in sales order creation

    Hi all,
I have a scenario as below.
Material A has maintain 3 pricing condition as below.
    1. Selling price (PR00)
    material A : normal selling price(PR00) = $2.00.
    2. Free goods
    material A : free goods -> 12 + 2 (exclusive free items)
    3. Scale pricing
    material A : scale pricing -> 12 items = $ 1.80
                                              6 items = $1.00
                                              3 items = $ 0.80
If the customer buying 12 items, he will be given 2 items free, the 12 items will be charged for rm2.00(normal selling price) instead of scale price $1.80.
Meaning to say if there's a free goods determine, i need the items to be charged with normal price instead of taking scale price.
How can I do this? I need this urgently.
    Kindly advise.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
Please check if you use inclusive in free goods determination then the price will be picked $2.00 but in exclusive that is 102 or 122 you will get $1.80only, check this and confirm.

  • Each PO Line Item price should be as per the scale in contract?

    Hi
I have a PO with 2 line items, both line items are for the same material. As I order 2 different quantities, I get 2 different prices, i.e. per line item. (As per the Scales Maintained in the contract)
However once I save the PO, and then display the PO, the price is taken for the total quantity. Is there any way that I can have 2 different prices for both materials in the same PO?
This behaviour has changed in the last 1 month only.
Earlier in our SAP system each line item had different price as the scale for the ordered quantity in that line item.
We though it could be due to Group Condition checked in the Condition Type, but that check has been in our system since long time, hence it cannot be the reason.
    Thanks in Advance!

Yes... this is a standard behavior..
    You can do one option...
When PO fetch the price from contract, then copy the price and enter it manually again, then PO can remember the price after save..

    Hi Experts,
When good receipts of different quantities are entered, they all pick up the lowest price/highest volume regardless of the quantity.
Case 1: Delivery schedule for 2 different quantity with same delivery date like eg. qty 5 & 6 and del. date 03/03/2011

    Hi Marco Antonio,
For schedule agreements the SAP standard is to use the target quantity  for price determination.
User exit EXIT_SAPLEINR_003 exists using which you can influence the quantity and the date of the price determination at the time of the goods receipt for the scheduling agreement. However, you need to bear in  mind that when you call up the user exit, the quantity of goods received  actually to be posted does not yet exist. The schedule lines are  available in internal table CETT which can be used.

  • Wrong Schedule Agreement Scale price in GR posting

                                    300                         190.50
The problem we have is that when the GR was posted by Qty 100... the proce taken was 190.50
why is taking the range of >= 300 qty ?? and not the <=299 of 199.96?

  • PRICAT price determination

    Dear all

    any help highly appreciated!

SAP allows only one price date...
If you dont enter the key price date, Price date is taken from the Validity base date @ material assortment.
Iam also working on the similar solution. If I make headway, I will communicate to you.
Iam also working on price change notification (weekly)...Do you know to how to use send it out.
    Here's the approach.... Iam using.
    1. Planning to use the same price catalogue and change the key price date for next week --> Generate Price catalog (PRICAT02) IDOC with new price.
SAP though recognize the key price date change happened @ header but its not re-pricing them based on the new date.
    Any Help is greatly appreciated.
