Quick one: Titan Z or Titan X?

Which one is better for Adobe Software?
To explain better... Titan Z has more Cuda Cores, but it's a dual GPU card, so I don't know if Premiere (After, Media Encoder, etc...) would benefit from those extra Cuda cores.
Titan X is newer, has fewer Cuda cores, but is higher clocked. Also it is a single GPU card.
A long time ago (when 690x were all the rage) I know that dual GPU cards had some issues, I don't know if they persist.
Please, bear in mind that only those two cards are being considered right now. So, please, do not throw Quadro or other GTX into the discussion.

Agreed, but I have a very thick headed and money-loaded client, lol.
Is Titan or nothing.
So, the main question is not Titan vs any other video-board, but Dual-GPU-more-CUDAs Titan Z versus Single-Faster-GPU-Less-CUDAs Titan X.
The issue being if Premiere would take advantage of those extra-CUDAs even if they are on different GPUs.

BPS Help with user exit.----- Quick one for Marc.B?

       I'm using an user exit to prefix the GL/account with '2' to make it a stat account.In the fields to be changed , i have included all the characteristics like gl account,region,line of business...key fig name..etc.However when i run the exit, my key figure amount is doubling up.Need a quick fix or a second pair of eyes..also found that xth_data cannot be used in MODIFY statement because of hash table .so I'm using a collect.But as soon as i exit out of the loop, the key figure amount doubles....any pointers????

you got it almost right. If you do the collect the system will add the changed records to the exiting ones since you start with lth_data = xth_data. So use the following logic:
start with empty table
refresh lth_data.
now process all exiting data
LOOP AT xth_data INTO ls_data.

if ls_data-s_chas-0gl_account+3(1) = '0' AND

When I'm typing and have to hit the back button to correct the preceding letter, my correction becomes a correction of the whole message. It begins erasing very quickly, one letter at a time but doesn't stop. Help!

Try resetting your phone: hold the on/off and home buttons simultaneously until you see the Apple logo (ignoring the off slider that appears first), then release. If the problem persists, try restoring your phone.

Well, on the same general topic.. I have FC Studio, which includes Compressor, but I'd like to buy at least one additional Compressor so I could distribute processing across a couple of Macs on my network.
Seems like a sensible thing for Apple to offer, at least for registered owners of FC Studio.

Albums and projects (quick one please)

just about to set down and spend a full day fixing my database here.
can anyone please remind me the proper way to organize albums versus projects?
i have a series of folders that contain either albums or projects and i need to reorganize this information. recently someone reminded me (a former windows user) that I need to think of my Aperture database as basically a place to store my slides. is there a good way to think about Albums versus Projects in this sense?
can i drag "slides" out of an Album and put them in a Project or take them out of a Project and put them in an Album or is this a bad idea?
also, when organizing slideshows and video should i only put these in a Folder or can they also go in a Project?

1. Yes. Images (which I greatly prefer over "slides" -- for reasons in addition to that that is what they are called by Aperture) must be in a Project and in only one Project. They can be in as many Albums as you want. As someone mentions below -- Albums hold just pointers to the Images in the Projects. If you delete an Image from an Album (Aperture will tell you your are "removing" it from the Album), all you have done is remove it from the Album. That Image must still be in one Project. If you delete an Image from a Project, it goes in Aperture's Trash. If you empty the Trash, it is removed from your Library.
2. Yes. Folders are just ways to group and hierachize (sorry) containers. Again, Images "live" in a Project. They only visit Albums. If the Folder contains Projects, deleting those Projects will "kill" the Images they contain. If the Folder contains Albums, deleting those Albums will only end the visit the Images were making to that Album.
3. Yes. I have written quite a bit about this -- a search might turn up something worthwhile.
Stick with what is simply -- especially as get used to Aperture. Make very shoot a Project. (Again, the mis-naming of "Project" is the single worst interface decision made in Aperture.) Images or Videos -- doesn't matter. You can think of Projects as bins that hold your originals -- just like those sleeves that used to hold your negatives when you got your prints back from the drugstore (if).
I separate my _storage containers_ from my _output containers_. So a shoot -- "CRJ: Mother/Child Portrait" will be imported into a Project of the same name, under a Folder called "Shoots". Then I'll copy to an Album the Images that are being published. In this case, the album would be in my Portraits Folder (and the name would start with the clients initials -- I don't group containers by client).
That's just a sample. The joy -- and part of the labor -- of Aperture is that it _is not_ a turn-key solution. You get to (and must) build a custom structure -- presumably to meet your needs.
The one dictum I strongly suggest following is "One shoot = one Project". The reason for this is that the Library is almost always confined to photographs taken by one person. One person can _only_ shoot sequentially. If you stick to "One shoot = one Project", you will end up with a life-long string of Projects, in sequential order. This can never become confusing -- and that is very useful to a user of Aperture. (But please note well that you don't have to store your Projects (or Images) by _date_. This is hard-wired into Aperture. Any time you want to view this life-long string of Projects, just go to Projects view, ungrouped, and sorted by date.)

What I want to do is to create a server client program whic allows the client to connect to the server and to use some of the servers objects. For example I might want the client to pass a request to the server. The server to process the rquest and then for the server to return the answer to the client.
I have looked on the java tutorial and I have found:

Which one do I use.
I have breifly read through the tutorials and I cannot work out anything about any of them.

I use servlets to accomplish exactly what you are taling about: give users limited access to server and enterprise resources. Might I recomend and book here for you? "Core Servlets and Java Server Pages" by Maty Hall. I found it most enlightening when I was trying to sort through the mental fog.

Can someone please take a very quick look at this section of code and tell me why it's not working:

I quite literally want the movieclip "advance_mc" (on the root level) to be invisible until the movieclip "last_action" (also on the root level) has progressed beyond its 90th frame.
Presently, "advance_mc" does not appear at all.

If that is the only code you have working to achieve the desired result, you'll be coming up short. In general, codes either sits waiting to execute (functions) or executes as soon as it comes up and is done (what you show). What you need is to have that code continuously being called, which you can do using enterframe coding. Place the following in the _root timeline...

Okay, I set a background for the main part of my frame(I have a small little black backgrounded panel at the bottom), and that works fine, but when I go to add all of my paintComponent stuff...it just erases the background in a way, and puts its old dull gray thing back. I have to go to bed real soon, but is there a quick fix for this? Like should I do another set background or something, or should I just make a big rectangle to fill the screen(I was thinking about this, but I REALLY rather do it a 'better' way...)

The newer version of JSTL uses a different uri to import:
JSTL1.0: <%@ taglib prefix="c" uri="http://java.sun.com/jstl/core"%>
JSTL1.1: <%@ taglib prefix="c" uri="http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core"%>
Make sure you have the correct version of JSTL, and are using the correct URI.
How do I test if a session is null I don't think you can check it easily in JSTL.
The session is always present in a JSP, unless you specify a page does not use the session. If they enter the page without a session, they will get a new one generated for them.
What is it you are actually trying to acoomplish by looking for a null session?

I am creating a cube with sales order and item number . my users are always going to run queries either by SO # alone or by a combination of SO and Item . Should i place them ( SO and SO item ) in one dimension or separate ?

Even Though if you put ur objects in different dimensions also, you can run a query with combination of SO and Items...
so, better to design ur cube with individual dimensions, performance point of view.. that is suggestable..
You should not assign both of them to the same dimension fo the cube as it will lead to the huge size of dimension table becasue each document has it's item and it will be like pulling the whole R/3 data into one table.
Make separate dimension for the documnets nd make it line dimension.
Use another dimesion for the itema and keep other attributes of item like type of item or item category i.e. fileds which are related to items in one dimension so that size of the dimension table is small.
Always try to keep the size pf the dimension tables small and uniform it's a good designing practise.

Another quick one - possible to create Style without Foreground/Background?

I'm using Styles to change backgrounds and foregrounds in a JTextPane, and I want it to be possible to add a style to a section of text without affecting other attributes of that text, e.g., if a text colour is red and that style is called "Red", I want to be able to change the background to yellow without having to specify a foreground colour in the style called "YellowBackground", so that it can be used on black text or red text and it won't affect the text colour but will make the bakground yellow. Similarly for changing text colour, etc. I'm not sure if I've made myself clear enough, but does anyone know how to only affect the attributes you explicitly change in a Style?

How does the example in the tutorial work?
You can select some text and then click or the "Bold" or "Italic" or "Foreground" or "Background" button. The attribute is added to what already exists, it doesn't replace all the attributes. So check out the source code to see how those Actions work. I believe they just add a new attribute to that piece of text.

Searched around for a bit and can't find anyone else asking this.
I have had an O2 locked iPhone officially unlocked by O2 (cost me £25, people will tell you it's £15 but you have to have £15 credit for the unlock PLUS you have to make some security calls so this needed another £10 credit).
I am now happily using an Orange SIM in it.
I upgraded to 3.1.3 BEFORE it was unlocked.
If I have to do a restore in iTunes at any point, (back to 3.1.2) will my iPhone remain unlocked?
