Quicktime off the internet...
I used to really enjoy how the iPhone got video off the net but I can't get any anymore.
All i get is pages full of code where before it just lept into the quicktime player on the iPhone. Am I doing something wrong, what changed?
Possible it is just the site you are pulling from. One of the sites I look at now and then that has quicktime files works fine. (latest firmware for iPhone).

Every time I use firefox I can't print full pages off the internet. I will find the page I want, for example, map quest. I push the print button and my printer prints the entire page in one forth of the space. The entire page I printed can be found in the upper left hand corner of the full page, just shrunk down to a fourth of its size. How can i get a full page printed from the internet?

Latest (manual) downloads from Apple (but check vendor sites also for scanners, printers etc) and rule out a bad cable as well.

Can you shut off the Internet on a iPhone 4s and still use it with a wifi connection ?
Can you shut off the Internet on a iPhone 4 and then use the phone as normal
I assume that you're asking if you can shut off cellular data (as no individual can shut off the Internet! )? Yes, you can turn off cellular data and use the phone features (except for MMS which requires cellular data) and access the Interenet via WiFi.

I go on and off the Internet several times every day. In the last 4 days, when I go off the Internet by "x" ing out Firefox and I then later in the day try to go back on the Internet, I get a message that states something to the effect that Firefox is running and I need to either close out Firefox or restart the computer. I always end up having to restart the computer.

i was recently downloading a movie from the itunes store and was cut off the internet and the movie didnt finishe downloading how do i finish the download for said movie?
Look under the Store menu in iTunes for the "Check for available downloads" command and run that. You may find the movie there to be downloaded.
If not, contact the iTunes Store Customer Service department from their Support page (click "Contact Support" and follow the instructions to get to the contact form) and explain the problem to them.

I have been dealing with this problem about a week. I have turned the computer completely off at night, but it does not correct the situation . I cannot print anything off the internet as long as the fax message is on there. I do not have a fax machine and do not want one.
What is that fax message '''on'''? <br />Hard to understand how that is a Firefox support issue as Firefox doesn't have any fax capabilities.
Perchance, do you have an all-in-one printer which can receive a fax message? Printer, scanner, and fax machine combined.<br />
If so, try looking at your user manual for that all-in-one to learn how to print that message. Or consult with a support forum for that brand all-in-one printer.
Or maybe your problem is with the Windows 7 Fax and Scan feature? <br />

Why can't I save pictures off the Internet after downloading ios 6?
Ever since I installed ios 6 I have not been able to save pictures off the Internet. When I 'Save photo', it does not save anywhere. Unless it now saves to a new spot I am unaware of? It's not in my 'Photos' section. Anyone have any ideas what this is about? Or if its going to be fixed?
Thanks!!!I'm glad you answered so quick ;)
I think my problem is harder to solve than that. What you say is what I first tried to do. Since the sync with iTunes was still working, I could still have some pictures in the photos app, and each time I was syncing new pics from my computer ( PC btw ) I had a prompt that said sth like "xx elements have not be synced, check what on iTunes on the PC" but there was nothing on iTunes, and every pic I synced was here in the photos app. I thought there was a directory problem, or ghost pic files issues, so I made a backup of the iPad from iTunes and I disabled the autosync with iTunes. when I got it back, I directly tried to save a pic from safari and mail (even before syncing anything) and it was still not working.
I really can't figure out why is this occurring, and I haven't tried anything else for now. I think I will show this up in an apple store cause it's kinda hard to explain.
PS: sorry for the mistakes, I know this is annoying and makes my weird stuff hard to understand, but English is not my first language. (but I will keep on, the English community is still the best!) -

My I Pad 1 constantly drops me off the Internet and programs. Is there any fix for this problem? It started after the last update and continues to get worse.
DougFirst, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc. -
I am having issues with being kicked off the internet intermittently. ATT states its not an issue with their service. Any ideas?
Yes it is NOT your internet service. It is Apples OSX. It seems to be happening to older computers trying to run the newer OSX ( Mavericks and newer). I have a 2009 iMac I bought with Leopard installed, I upgraded to Snow leopard 10.6.8 and my computer was running flawlessly. I upgraded to Mountain Lion and I noticed my computer running slower... kind of annoying having to wait longer for everything (start up, browsers opening up, apps opening up, mail opening up and so on) Mavericks came out for free and I was excited to get out of this issue. Well, everything went from bad to terrible! Fast user switching had a glitch with desktop picture resetting to the wave, mail rules didn't work properly and I kept getting kicked off the internet (Absolutely NOTHING wrong with my internet). No one could figure out what was going on or how to fix it, even senior Apple tech's! After 3-4 months of searching, troubleshooting and waiting for a fix, I looked at my Mac Pro running Tiger 10.4.11 with no issues what so ever... that is when I made an executive decision. GO BACK TO SNOW LEOPARD! Since May 2014 I have been running 10.6.8 on my 2009 iMac and it has been smoking fast with NO issues what so ever, especially since I maxed out my memory for Mavericks. So to sum it up: some people might get lucky with old machines running new operating systems, but for the most part, it seems older processors can't keep up with the new sophisticated operating systems. Mavericks... Yosemite... FREE UPGRADE! But you will pay the price

Problems downloading a program/file off the internet, end up as Excel files
When I attempt to download a program or a file off the internet, and save it to disk it appears as an unreadable excel spreadsheet on my desktop. What is going on?
Hi, Mary.
1. Can you provide an example, such as a URL / link to a file you have attempted to download?
2. See my "Resetting Launch Services" FAQ.
Good luck!

Firefox 4 won't let me save any image off the internet (works fine with IE)
Ok...Firefox 4 won't let me save any image off the internet. It will let me right click on the image, but I won't let me choose a file type..like jpeg.
I couldn't figure it out so i completely uninstalled firefox then reinstalled. I'm still having the same problems.
I can save images normally with IE.Yahoo! mail? There are a variety of suggestions but not yet a confirmed solution in this thread: [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/971042 Firefox suddently stopped downloading email attachments.]

How do I turn off the internet so it doesn't drain my battery?
Is there a way to turn off the internet? I do not mean disconnect from wifi but actually stop the phone from running the internet. It seems like when you just push the home button it is still running. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
ThanksWiFi can be turned off on the iPhone to conserve battery. Posted below is a link about the iPhone Battery that will show you some tips to conserve batter life.
