"Quit LV" creates exception - How can i exit created application with button-click?

Hello,
i added a small vi-popup at beginning of my program where user can select between 3 buttons. The fourth button is Exit that should exit the application.
For this i added the "Quit Labview" = True.
It works fine in developer-mode but when i run it in the application exe-file this creates the following exception:
Why is this not working in a application?
Is there a better thing to quit the program?

The problem is that this is sub-vi Nr 2 of 10 that are all connected in a row with the error in/out.
That means i would have to put the other 8 sub-vis inside a case-structure and give the "close"-vi an output to feed the case.
It is simpler to just kill the whole LV.

You can get the drop down list by either right-clicking on the back/forward buttons, or holding down the left button until the list appears.
If you want the drop-down arrow you can add it with the Back/forward dropmarker add-on - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/backforward-dropmarker

How can I use internal frames with buttons to call others internal frames?

I'm building a MDI-application using JFrames and several JInternalFrames, but I have problems.
A JFrame has JMenuBar with JMenu and JMenuItem. One of these, call the first JInternal that has its interface. In this interface has a button that call other type (a class extension of JInternalFrame) JInternalFrame.
When I clicked button happen a exception (java.lang.NullPointer).
What happening?

What i usually do is to give my desktop to my internal frames. So within the internalframe, you can use your desktop and add other internal frames to it.
The code should look something like the following.

How can I make a menu with button's that fade-in?

I've built a motion menu in AE, and had added text layers/buttons that fade-in through layer>Encore>Create Button. Once I import this into Encore through dynamic link I cannot link the buttons to the motion menu. I've added a sample.
Basically all I want is the play feature, Scene selection ,and credits to be selectable after they finish fading in @ the :20 mark. I don't want the menu to loop either.
I've tried to make a static menu(from last frame in AE) play after this, but, there is a one second gap or so before that static menu plays which just looks tacky. I have tried this in preview, and rendered it to a dvd with the same result.
All the tutorials i've come across really don't answer this question either.
Any help would be appreciated.

Huh.. Interesting. I went back to check these proceedures and found there is a difference between using the return key or the space bar as the action command.
tabbing the blue ring moves the selection and then spacebar takes that action. The return key takes action of only the blue collored button.

How can I make the popup with empty fileds and create new record?

I would like to use a popup to create new record.
I created a af:popup by drag and drop a VO from data control to jsff. then, I created a button and place a af:showPopupBehavior. I was able to popup window by click the button.
however, the window filled with the information from the 1st record. and when I select a record in table and click popup, the popup is filled with that record.
How can I make the popup with empty fileds and create new record by saving the popup?

You can have edit and new buttons, in the PopupFetchEvent identify button source (using popupFetchEvent.getLaunchSourceClientId()) if new button clicked clear the binding using below code.
If you want to see empty fields, in the popup PopupFetchEvent clear the input component bindings.

How can I return multiple values with PL/SQL Web Services

I'm new to developping Web Services. I'm doing some tests with JDeveloper and OC4J on my local machine with a Web Services based on a PL/SQL function within a package. Right now that function only returns one value. So the xml response only has one output.
I'd like to know how can I return multiple values with my PL/SQL Web Service. For example, if I want to return an employee's name and id? And that the xml contains two output : <employee>, <empid>?

Alright, I actually found my answer. Since this was asked I think as a followup somewhere else I'll give my answer.
It is very simple, all you have to do is create an Object Type and then Return that object type. After that, JDeveloper will take care of everything and you will have an xml response with multiple values. Here

Why is it that you're not interested in IOExceptions?

In the dialog I have combo box in which I can select desire language for application. When I select value I save this value in the config file. But language change ONLY when I exit and again enter to the application. How can change language of application dynamic (without exit from application) ?

Did you try to call this method in response to the selection in the combobox?
This won't refresh all widgets already created however. You probably have to re-create them all.
There may be case-by-case way to refresh them, for example Locale-dependent layout may be taken into account dynamically. Try and tell us.

How can I close this application?

I entered a script that autoclicks every 0.1 seconds and I didn't turn off the mouse thing so it just keeps entering 5s. I can't do anything except move my cursor(can't click or type). How can I close this application?

There is a mechanism built into subVIs and subVI calls to open when
called and close when finished. This still works fine for many tasks
and is quick and easy. To use this, you can use the File>>VI Properties
on your subVI, go to Window Appearance, Customize, and it is in the left
column near the bottom.
You can also set this on a subVI call by right clicking, choosing SubVI
node setup and set the same Open when called and Close on exit settings.
The difference between them is that the first will affect every usage of
the VI, whereas the
second can be set to pop open sometimes and other
times not.
Of course there is another way, introduced when the VI server was added.
There is a VI property for the VI class, Front Panel Window Open.
Setting it to True and FALSE will open and close. There is also now a
method for opening and closing with a few additional options.
The VI Server allows for more control and flexebility, but the first two
options are still perfectly valid for simple things. If using them,
closing your subVI is as simple as exiting your outer loop of your
subVI. This returns and closes the window all at once giving control
and and data parameters back to the caller. If using the VI Server, you
can either close the window just before returning or leave it to the
caller. Just be sure they are in agreement.
